In markets, we hear all the time about the “investment process”, about how that’s the most important thing in predicting the long-term success of a portfolio manager.
And that’s exactly right. It. Cult-classic Friday Night Lights fans know the iconic motto “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.”Connie Britton told us how she uses that motto in her daily life and who she thinks is a. “Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose” is his signature rallying cry, and is chanted by the Dillon Panthers before every football game. Hearts fat with hope that would feed her gigantic appetite.
Her heart has always been the same size as it was that long-ago Sunday when she first saw those eyes pointed at both ends, and she has always felt the same to herself.
I started watching this series two weeks ago, and I’m already on the 3rd episode of season four. This is not just a football show. It’s about community, love, support, dreams, goals…etc. They all wanted something, they all had a goal. Matt wanted to do art and marry Julie. Tyra didn’t want to be like her mom or sister and wanted to go to college and do something with her life. Lyla wasn’t at first sure what she wanted because her life revolved around Jason, but she ended up going to Vanderbilt. Jason has a son he wants to help support, and that’s what a good dad does. Tim Riggins just wants a simple life, and that’s okay. They all wanted something, but when something happened to get in their way, like Jason’s accident, they can all find new things that make them happy. This show is the best of all time. And even though Julie went through a small phase, I still love her more than anything. She was just young and confused. She wasn’t ready for commitment
There was something about shows from the 2000’s. Shows like this had so much heart. They didn’t push any agenda, PC, or feminism. FNL was about love, relationship, friendship and the whole experience of high school. People connected to the characters and it really changed my whole perspective on life. One tree hill was another show like this. I will always be grateful that i got to watch FNL. TV shows nowadays don’t really have any heart they’re all about promoting some kinda agenda
I live an hour away from this school and played on their field in the jamboree. Not against them they would destroy my team because Sulphur is like a 4a or a 5a school my school is 2a
just play before you are strong enough to win a fight ore a war 😉 never enter to early never show early what you are special in! never risk too much and never forget winning is not a question of luck… it is a question of time!
see you in 10 years! then i change the world cause i belive in the 44.
Oh man oh man. Do i miss football. I miss it all. It taught so many of us lessons for life not just on the field.. Man sophomore year got sacked on 4th and 1 or 2 idk been some years, it we lost state on that very play.. But man junior year we made it back and won it all in a pretty dominate fashion.. We wont discuss my last year of highschool lol
I remember running sprints up the hill behind the field where we practiced. Those were rough on those summer days when the sun was nice and high at about 100 degrees
I’ll never forget it this song came on during half time my senior night in 2015 I played the game of my life leaving it all on the field knowing it was the end win or lose I’ll never forget that night
When was the last time you heard anyone say that a particular city, neighborhood, school, or workplace was too Black? That it needed to bring in more non-Backs to promote diversity? Have you ever heard that? No, I didn’t think so. Diversity means chasing down every White city, every White neighborhood, every White school, and every White workplace until it becomes non-White. Diversity means chasing down White flight. Diversity is a codeword for White genocide. Anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White.
The whole series is on Netflix. Amazing what you pick up years later you missed watching FNL the first time through. Thanks Coach. Thank the Drafthouse for kicking out Madonna who didn’t heed the warning.
Fuck this place. While they do serve food and drinks, they do it during the show… Very distracting. Video quality is sub-par, and the food tastes awful.
Its good that they kick out the people on cell phones, but now I feel like they’re always gonna be watching me watch a movie, probably great atmosphere for horror movies then though
Billy Bob Thornton was better in that role. Also find it strange that the song they used predominantly in the film was used alongside the TV actor’s speech.
If I ever go to Texas and run across this theater, I would gladly see a movie there. Finally, a business that’s not afraid to take a stand against rude ass shitheads in our society.
A gem a real gem great show it is very very underrated. I had knee surgery n binged watching all the seasons, I laughed, I cried, an when it was over I wanted to see more fantastic stories and people

I got my fans in the stands, my team on my back
My family in my heart, I put my city on the map
See I’m cool with my school but I know I can do better.
I checked the mail yesterday and not one college letter.
Not one college offer after all this hard work.
I’d be telling you a lie if I said it didn’t hurt.
So how do I stay focused in this game called life?
And do I have a fair chance when this world so schife?
See we all pay a price; I got some things on my mind.
But I need to regain my focus, cause its game time.
Give all, leave nothing.
In the end, I got to choose.
Clear Eyes, Full Heart
I can’t lose!
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes
Now look me in the eyes,
And put your hand in mine
Forever is about to happen,
Right here in this moment of time
So let’s draw a line,
Right here in the sand
And let it be said that on this very day,
Is the day that we took a stand
Cause it’s not just a game,
It’s more than a game
It’s more than the hurt,
It’s more than the pain
It’s more than the glory,
It’s more than the fame
This right here,
Is about legacy man.
So it’s bigger than me,
It’s bigger than us
We can lose sight,
In the mist of the fuss.
Let’s slow it down and take it in
Enjoy this moment, what’s the rush
They want it bad, but we want it more.
This is what we been waiting for.
With tears in our eyes, we let our hearts roar
Unleash war when we walk out this door
We won’t be delayed
We won’t be denied
In the end, we won’t be refused
With Clear Eyes, a Full Heart
There’s no way that we can lose!
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes, Full Heart, Can’t Lose
Clear Eyes
