  • Congrats! I ship for boot camp June 1st 2020 and it is extended 2 weeks so is now 15 due to the corona virus! There is a two week quarantine when we arrive!!

  • Bootcamp was easy physically in my opinion bootcamp was more mental to me till you’ve done the whole 3 months you truly don’t understand

  • I can’t concentrate without your green skivvy shirt!! UNFUCK YOURSELF SGT RIGHT THE HELL NOW…also, wow they let them eat?? Must be nice, whatever happened to someone eyeballing the DI and everyone is done eating, get up right now haha

  • This is why drill instructors should not scream all day long. Now she can barely give any instructions. Hell I would not be able to hold in my laughter after hearing such a wrecked voice irl. xD

  • I am gonna be honest, this Challenges seems to not break their love for eachother (Writer and His girlfriend) love apart, infact, I think they got closer and closer each challenges

  • With respect to Miss Bear. You are so outside your experience range you can’t understand these things. Alternative? What about all FEM. Units?

  • Ssgt Drinkard, she loved playing games, this doesn’t even depict 50% of it! I was definitely on her list, but she had the best drill cadence.

  • Oh they still yell at you and insult you. At least when I went through about four years ago they did. Drill Sergeants have been having to find more creative ways around the rules. But they still smoked us all the time.

  • Did basic training a couple years ago and while a lot is different u do a lot of the same things still and they are only allowed to smoke you so much at any one time but they can make u stand and start again instantly we had a drill sargent make half his platoon become heat casualties and almost killed some of them by smoking they have cards u can use to stop them smoking but they just target you worse if you use them and my platoon was forced to watch another have a 2 hour call to home and then we got 5 minutes and that was all we got during basic

  • The whole yelling drill Sargent thing to me is still weird, I don’t care what anyone says..being a person yelling at people all day isn’t good for your mental health and vice versa

  • BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!
You GOTTA check out the videos that the other creators made!

  • I wanna join the marine corps but I’m afraid I’m going to be laughing to much like say when a drill instructor says a insult that I might find funny

  • the second obstacle is what I used to go to whenever we went to the playground, it was the best part of the playground for me lmfao

  • I went through bootcamp in 1996 and work part time as a DI now. It is no way near the same thing. The weird thing is that the kids want the old bootcamp back. Officers and other nursemaids (politicians) don’t.

  • I’ve stayed in that hotel, I was also stationed on the air station in Beaufort. Wish I knew you were there I would have jumped you

  • lmao u probably think u special because u not a real soldier but choose to take part of government property but U CLEARLY FOLLOW YOUR OWN RULES whispering “no mam” get the fk outta dodge

  • Your experience at Boot camp today definitely depends on where you go. I was at Ft Leonard wood and they named our company D Block after one of the Detention blocks in Alcatraz

  • Im also taking the same challenge but I’m going to San Diego CA I guess I’m ready for 3 months of hell I was trained for 7 months I leave in 3 months those drill instructors are going to be my worst nightmares until I stop thinking about it so… #Challengeaccepted

  • LMFAO I was reading the comments below and I noticed that there are quite a few 30 to 40 years ago comments:) are we that old now LMFAO 1979. wheh so long ago, Semper Fi.

  • So interesting video of you experiencing a big emotional challenge I almost cry feeling the kind of strength this require…and i learn a lot of new English vocabulary throughout your video… Thks a lot

  • Racism is so systemic in our country….
That they alllow a….. black… female to yell at and order around white privileged teachers…..
On a serious note, she is a beast! Semper Devil dogs! I may be out but still proud

  • Why does he go back and forth from DI to drill sgt? Drill Sgts are for the Army and DI’s are for the Marines. So which one was he in? Asking as an Army Vet.

Oh I was in basic in 2015. Pulled fire guard pretty much every night due to only having about 30 other females in the bay with me. When getting chow, had to be at position of attention and if someone stepped forward, you fill it. Also at the start of basic, only had 3 mins to eat (yes, I timed it EVERY single time. between 2 mins and 30 secs and 3 mins and 15 secs.) Towards the end of basic, it was a ‘gracious’ 10 mins. And as a slow eater, for the first week, My stomach HURT for a week, after each meal)

Had to make my own bed each morning with hospital corners. Only thing I was allowed for sleepwear was PTs (no civilian wear, actually missed the option to choose different bottoms.)

My company (building filled with other trainees) did NOT allow liberty. I only got it once I got to AIT (advance individual Training). Oh, I’m female btw.

  • 48hrs of liberty huh… Try no liberty and not being able to speak, know the date, go to the bathroom without permission, or knowing the time of day….. That was Marine Corps Recruit training in the 90s.

  • Courtney is the only one who did what I expected everyone to do. She jumped off things, which makes the most sense and I’d have done the same thing

  • Mine was harsh one time I was so sick when I threw up I got yelled at and past out on the ground when I woke up I was alone it turned out that they left me and I barely made it back to my room everybody was concerned about me but I did fine but the next day I had strep throat and it was hard to talk so I got yelled at but now it’s over and I don’t have to do that again. Oh and this was 2 years ago

  • one time my freinds dads freind ot sent cookeis or so they thot thyey were gathering up to eat them but cokeain fell out they had to share sweats and hes 40

  • Good job on getting to experience just a small bit of what Marine Corps boot camp is really like. It’s not easy and never will be. While some of the training has changed since I graduated on 14 February 1992, Marines still go through the hardest 13 weeks of training to earn the title, United States Marine. Semper fidelis.

  • I haven’t been in the military but my grandpa was in the us Marines and he’s told me. About bootcamp and his other military experiences close enough to personal military experience right

  • I’m glad you all got those Marine pins. Much respect to you three for doing this.

Sucks you guys never got thrashed in the sand pits for two hours straight through.

    Semper Fi.

  • Boot camp… went thru in 2018, they say there’s no more hitting or swearing, that’s not true, still happens… whenever SNCOs or officers aren’t around

  • Modern days if you were sick in the military, you would definitely get some treatment. They wouldn’t just continue to pound you with exercises and yelling.

  • In boot camp, every Saturday we got eggs beans and bacon for breakfast,pb&j sandwiches with a pudding cup, then either steak fillet with rice or chicken curry with rice and a salad.

  • this is what he looks like when he shaved his beared https://www.google.com/search?safe=active&rlz=1CACVLN_enUS888&sxsrf=ALeKk03RNay_NXiozu6Oc_iLHHLGbhyuLA:1591535503333&q=Dacre+Montgomery&stick=H4sIAAAAAAAAAONgFuLWz9U3MDQ2zMkzr1SCcAyNjS2MSrTEspOt9EvKgCi-oCg_vSgx1yo5sbjkEeNGRm6Blz_uCUstZ5y05uQ1xgWMXDjUCmlxsbnmlWSWVAopcPFLIdulwSDFy4VieZiR165L086xuQgyAEHDh1AHKRElIS52z2Kf_OTEHMGdh2UO_P_3l5JkbMpVXKBTel7e8G9XAwHtk_ycpBgUWDQYDDsaWJkuJ5s4qDF0LRvxSE2Fg5GAQYrJg1GnkWsAi6JyUWpCr75eSXp-bmpRZUAPnO_SPwAAAA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiE4sri4-_pAhXNmOAKHRWRC0YQ-BYwPXoECCMQQQ

if you use it for 30 days brave will give me hella skrill on your behalf

  • Olivia running in uniform is exactly what all military members look like adjusting to the weight of the issued boots (heavier than you’d think) at basic training, so her attempt pretty accurate tbh

  • My brother went threw marine boot camp at Paris island he’s still in the marines he’s been in for 8 years he’s in 29 palms California

  • by the PT in civilian life means physical therapy witch i should be having but mom didn’t have time to take me to the hostpatal and than COVID along

  • I just ran 2 miles would have ran 4 but my neighbor had a mean dog own down the road, anyway THE CADENCE MUSIC WORKS I ran with no problems heming along with them, I’m pretty sure my neighbors thought I was crazy.

  • lmao at least in this video your fucking ego wasnt through the roof and at least well hopefully fom this 3 day course if you will, your fucking ego is stripped

  • When I went to vacation as a kid it was always in a camper. Do know that it didn’t have tv and the only thing we used was 1 cellphone incase of emergencies, everything else were books and going to cities or eat out in other countries. That’s it and let me tell you it REALLY helped you get away from day to day life for a bit. I always felt really refreshed once it was time to go back to school. So in that case it was a bit like boot camp but without the yelling and exercises but everything else was pretty much like it including the limited amount of space and making your bed and stuff. Though we usually didn’t get up before 11:00 o clock though. So maybe not after all. XD

  • military boot camp is a joke! I spent nearly 6 Months in Both Bootcamp and AIT school. I switched to the Air Force years later and had to that school for 7 months!

  • First week is easy, second week they amp it up a bit by the 4th week your moving along at half throttle. It starts getting tough now.

  • I got through bootcamp in 08′, served in 09′-12’… after getting drafted. Despite it being in the Norwegian army, it was no simple undertaking. For the ones out there thinking that their own boot camp or full drafting/tour experiences is more of a nightmare than the rest… based solemn upon nationality, where you served (which branch)… and of course based upon who your superiors was. No one goes through a 5-star hotel stay, where your every need is catered to nobody has a psychiatric evaluation with somebody who’s new to the field but looks upon the soldiers well-being over the bureaucracy in it all, as well as squad structure. What I can say is this much, three years in Afghanistan, was brief yet no cakewalk.

  • I see one of your drill instructors is ssgt Torres(it looks like her name is white now). I used to be her corporal when she was a private back in 2009

  • Hey infographics I am actually in my Senior year and am really looking forward to joining the military and am training for it can you give me tips and excersises for me to do to prepare for boot camp please

  • Not gonna lie, coming from someone who has actually gone through basic training, this was kinda insulting, still love watching the squad tho

  • Hi Ruben, I work as a drill sergeant for Fort Martin.
Fort Martin on this video is not how it seems today, we’ve changed a lot of things, and you should definitely check it out again! I’ll be there too.

    Sincerely, and always,
    Brandon, from the TRADOC team.

  • I am already training for the military
I am starting with not sleeping but u see I haven’t slept in my life:)
Next I am use to loud noises because this is a Asian household with 6 children:)
This is Ramadan food is forbidden until 5:30am 5:00am:)
I’m still working on exercising I’m pretty lazy:)

  • Lol all of them cheering the person going through would be shouted at like hell for talking without permission and would most likely have to do 50 push ups or jjs.

  • I remember being one of the hatch recruits, facing receiving building I was the left hatch recruit. I will never forget that, the words above those two silver doors are infinitely motivating.

  • Thanks Nava, I appreciate it! Most of my family members are marines and I’ve grown up with the hope to join someday. So far it hasn’t worked out. When it comes to dealing with drill instructors yelling at me I think I’ll be fine.
I’ve been abuse physically and verbally by my father…so being yelled at and under pressure wouldn’t be out of the ordinary, personally. Still I would love to join up and see for myself…but….. I would if I could. I would love to serve my country as a trans man but, unfortunately I cannot….such a shame that a person such as myself who simply just wants to serve his country, is unable to…Well God Bless America…no matter what. Some day I hope I can serve this beautiful country as my true self…not some person who pretends to be cis and commit suicide because I can’t handle the disphoria.
    God help us all.

  • This is why many military games remain empty. I am in the Landguard of Kroneland and joined about a year before that group shut down its games, probably because of a lack of active players and funding.

Many times the main game would have little to no people playing because there would be nothing to do. The only ways to have real fun were when some poor saps who didn’t know any better joined the enemie’s team, or the odd time someone hosted some war games, or if you were a high ranking admin.

I think thats what destroyed this game and others like it. The lack of something fun to do. Remember, overall, people play videogames to have fun. They will usually leave if they’re not having fun. If you decide to make a military rp, at least give the people playing something to do, like fighting off waves of NPCs. I tell ya, if Assault on The Prince’s Estate had that, the game would have been more popular with people joining the first time.

  • Whats with the new fancy rubbermaid footlockers? Ones we had looked like leftovers from ww2 and that was 2002. How the heck a di supposed to throw that across the barracks and not expect it to shatter.

Wth kind of mattresses are those? Look comfy af. Pretty sure this is the new age corps getting all the goodies. Lol

  • I think that many prior service would happily join again. The real question is how many of us would volunteer to go back through BMT again. My answer is Hell NO!

  • u honestly think u are so so special omg. the instructors clearly have more confidence in urself than you do i mean thats their job, to lead and learn from their team.

  • My brother went into the military (Marines) and is still in active deployment I think like 3 years ago and he said the funnest thing about it was when he had to hide from the drill Sargents outside at night and he hid underneath water. He got out 2 weeks earlier than everyone else and was commending his platoon in a few more weeks

  • Like Lucas did in bootcamp I really want to be a marine when I grow up.I have just started my own channel were I train at home to be a marine.I could really use some support with my channel.

  • I’m glad to see the general population getting to understand what trainees go through, although, my drill instructor went through smashing any phones that he came across. Good times

  • My conduct disorder says no to them telling me what to do and shouting at me but my anxiety says no to going in the first place but my asbergers says no to the repetitive confusing tasks but my OCD says no to wearing that costume and doing the courses but my Schitzoaffevtive disorder says no to going up that big rope as I’d be convinced I’m being told to jump but my depression says no to having the motivation to do any of this but my phycosis says no to holding guns without killing everyone including myself

  • Ain’t gonna lie, I remember those moments thinking “this is for real.” But I am not going to lie I wish I could go back and relive these moments. Best decision I have ever made, and now I get to play with Apaches

  • Its been 20 years since setting foot on my beloved Island. This made my day and brought back a life time of memories serving as a Marine. 2000-2012.

  • Man plz reveal your face. I wish it don’t happen but if you die doing one of the challenges. The infographics show will never tell us that you have died doing one of the challenges

  • When I Awas on the Island back in “83 we did not even see any females from the time we arrived until the time we graduated!!! What the hell has happened to the Corps???

  • Yeah they wore the uniform wrong but they didnt know any better, they were respectful to the brand with what they knew, they meant nothing but respect

  • oh my god I’m only 2 minutes in and already can’t handle Shayne with his war cry and the way he ran. This was an absolute fit for him and I’m dying.

  • Cool the Marines did this with you guys. My only comment is; I think you guys need to go back to Parris Island; look for the first PRC E6 Drill instructor you see and ask to see his sand pit. I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to give you the tour.

  • This was fun to watch I leave for Marine boot camp on the May 10 and I cannot wait till I become a marine and leave the old me behind my life will change forever and I respect anyone who takes this path

  • Okay, I know that this is difficult (though admittedly not as much how boot camp should’ve been) and stuff but come on? Even the jumping logs ones? I do that shit all the time with my cousins on repeat cause they wanna be dicks

  • WOW did the DI’s go easy on them. Right from the bus the DI had a laid back demeaner. Also only 1 DI. 5:26 “I mam, Yes Mam” while still seated?!?! lucas, you still haven’t experienced boot camp. 26 years today I was in Boot camp. I was a bodybuilder before I went in, 5 weeks later I weighed 136 lbs at 6’2″. Ahh, good times. OOH RAH!

  • i never served
i was in the ‘group’ which ‘skated’ through without a required enlistment
however, i think all americans should live through boot camp (even a dumbed down version for fat, weak, ‘slow’, and lgbtq citizens. lots of po’ed ppl here, eh?)
    why?!
so that all americans get a taste of the pain and suffering if the generation that put us where we are today
you americans (myself as well) are soft, soft as hell and some horrible day you will awaken to a new world in which you barely fit!

  • How recent are you asking about? Went through Marine boot camp in 05 and we most certainly did not eat that well lol. We did most certainly get yelled at. And according to this video it was very similar experience. I can’t specifically say we got 8b hours of sleep, though I’m quite sure it was much less than 8 hours. As for liberty, there was none unless you count going to religious services on Sunday. There certainly are no maids cleaning or making our beds either

  • I hope you guys love our long awaited new episode of #ChallengeAccepted. I am excited to share that you can expect a brand new release every single Sunday for the next 5 weeks! You guys are going to be blown away by what we’ve been working on. We are BACK!!!:)

  • crazy 2 of the staff sergeants are now gunnies, one was my chief drill instructor and the other was my heavy. captain Silva was my company commander. crazy seeing stuff like this!!

  • The big difference is that Capt. almost annihilated you and was still fresh and ready to go again. You looked like you were about to die.

  • “I can’t believe this..” I can’t believe you don’t realize how easy they took it on you. This isn’t a fraction of what real recruits go through.

  • thanks for the info, and your sacrifice.
due to psychiatric problems i have been turned down 5 different times from military service and have always wanted to experience something of bootcamp to accompany my years of martial arts boxing and mma training as well as well as trips to the rifle range making my warrior lifestyle.
i continue to hope there’s other ways to learn similarities with a soldier while remaining a civilian.
yes i understand that if you aren’t a soldier you will never truly understand.
    but thanks none the less❤️

  • I remember doing the gas chamber. Being the last group. The gas was so dense because they had it released the whole time and fuckkkk. My Senior tore my mask off my face because he didn’t believe my seal was broke. Well I struggled to grab It and put it on as I did it my kill hat thought I was just being a pansy so he snakes me against the wall and I was saying in my head “bitch I just need my mask” well I eventually got it in but that point I had snot all down my face. Yeah. That was a disaster.

  • I was there for six months before I finally finished in 2017 cause of pneumonia in MRP,wasn’t happy till I finally hit the fleet keep that same adittude the last 3 year and loving Cali, they think this is bad give AnS a swing I’m still preping an I’m getting slayed

  • I never got it, what’s the point of taking all this so seriously? You’re not getting paid and this sort of knowledge or skill won’t really be useful in life.

  • If we can gave women marines why can’t we have women quarterbacks in the NFL, or women hockey goalies in the NHL, women relief pitchers in MLB?? Fair is fair. Equality right?

  • I was in the navy and although our basic wasn’t as hard as the marines it was still hell. Especially the gas chamber. You think it’s bad watching people in videos but you have no idea until your skins tingling and your throats on fire trying to repeat the sailors creed with your throat imploading.

  • If some you legitamately think that the old boot camp system was better, you probably don’t understand basic psychology. Things have changed, for the better.

  • I went to Parris island, and in my opinion they should have had IT training in there as well for a bitter taste. At least make them actually low crawl. I wish my boot was this easy

  • its always funny seeing the MCRDPI receiving building with civies doing the challenge, that place was the bain of boot camp so manny it sessions and blasts, that place single handedly inspires and terrifies me

  • I went threw basic 3 years ago and we did not get 8 full hours we where supposed to get 6 but when you have to pull multiple fire guard shifts, CQ, and buddy watch it’s more like 3-4 hours

  • Man funny video but I would have enjoyed it more if it was like boot camp…. Like real boot camp lol. Watch them eat lunch like there at school. I bet they got to walk with food in their mouths too hahaha. They got more than they intended but they didn’t even get 99.9% of boot camp. I’ll give them props for doing it though.

  • The Drill Instructors turn Men and Women into killers, they break you and build you back up as a marine and as a Lean Green fighting machine.that is the purpose of Marine Corps Boot Camp.

  • The feeling of are they coming back on the bus is so real that was what I felt like every time I was on a bus during recruit training

  • I get that i´m young right now! But i´m 14 and been wanting to be a police officer ever since i was a toddler lol and i recently saw 4 or 5 army trucks driving in front of me and i thought dang there all getting stationed somewhere like. Then i thought again what if i joined the marines that would be a cool experience and i remembered this video i watched way before and i watched it again and it inspired me to want to make this my personal goal to become a marine and after i retire to become what i´ve always wanted and to train to be a cop:)

  • I just wanna ask why Noah saluted because Sergeant is a pretty low rank in the British military and the American and British ranking system is almost identical
