A few years ago, we ran a survey where we asked women to rate photos of male bodies to see which physiques they found the most attractive. Our results showed that the vast majority of women preferred men who looked strong but not overly musclebound..

However, a new study titled Cues of Upper Body Strength Account for Most of the Variance in Men’s Bodily Attractiveness, authored by. Brad Pitt has been fit since he came on the scene in Hollywood, but there are a few of his movie physiques that are etched indefinitely in our brains. The first is Fight Club, in which he played the underground resistance leader Tyler Durden. The dirty, shirtless image of him standing over a bloodied opponent, celebratory cigarette hanging from his lips, has remained a physical pillar of.

  • No such thing as somatotypes, dudes like this belong in a mainstream gym preaching their wisdom to newbees during their first session.

  • I made it into my 50’s doing my thing…… it would be great if you had some tips and advise on training into one’s 50’s and beyond…… I find your short sessions like the 23 minute and the body weight particularly your burpee challenges 12 reps on and the rest of that minute to recover over 10 minutes sustainable and far more rewarding keeping me flexible and strong. There are greater benefits to training with weights by lightening the weights and training in a fasted state early in the morning really pushes me along. Best discovery in my 40 year journey was in 2012 when I discovered your channel…….. amazing benefits followed…. Jeff your advise is second to none.

  • Absolute bullshit, use heavier weights and eat clean, never over complicate it like this ridiculous example with electric muscle stimulators…

  • I guess I’m the one that gains fat and muscle very easily so please someone tell me what I need to do to lose this fat without losing my muscle

  • I hate that you tubers who talk too much instead get to the point directly without wasting time. Because everyone knows these words pleasssssssse. Thank you

  • Seamus is doing really well! Anybody can make a transformation. I was 33, I had recently got my hip replaced and would need the other done, I got told I was prediabetic and should think about my sugar intake if I could. I decided to go further than that so joined a gym. I then started getting crook with what would turn out to be multiple sclerosis. My trainer worried because I lost all my balance and fell over doing pushups and had to always crawl my way up the wall to stand up after a floor exercise. We pressed on though (under medical advise) and now at 35 I have lost 40kg, I’m down to 22% body fat and feeling healthier than EVER before! More chronically ill, but I ain’t quittin! You’re so right Seamus, ANYONE can do it!!!

  • “Endomorph or ectomorp whatever I could be wrong.” firas
Joe “you see thats the problem with this conversation is that neither one of us are biolgists”

  • He’s 42. The only way he gets this ripped this quickly is if he was once this ripped.. or he’s on something. Probably TRT to be honest

  • It’s crazy like they even made a term for it, like you can go to a gym and be ripped man good for you but you coming outta jail looking big and buff you prison ripped

  • how he did it? simple! create more muscle tension.. as Jeff always say make a mind-muscle connection, its not all about the weight you are lifting.. im 50 and still building muscle naturally

  • The worst coach/trainer is the person who is naturally talented. If their feet turn over perfectly and their heel hits their glutes when they run, they don’t know what to tell a person who has bad form. They never had to fix their form if it was naturally perfect. Same as folks who were never injured trying to help people who are…they really have to work to understand what is happening.

  • Warriors out here u heard!!!..gtting swole n shredded…..duuuhhhha..ztraight mo st..chedda
    Scratch.bread…u knw..Fight the Power!!! that be…GRAVITY….

  • the notion of exercising in the direction of the divers is revolutionary i just assumed that you had to follow the natural direction of the muscle contraction

  • I love how they think people won’t notice the little give aways that he’s been juicing. Most noticeably the indents between the cheek-bone and nose bridge. Men’s Health has always been hush about the fact that at least 80% of the men in their magazine are heavily sauced. Boo.

  • A lot is their diet too. Peanut butter and jelly all day lol. Homies I know ate damn near 10 sandwiches daily. Lol that and lifting weights all day every day.

  • If we are really breaking it down by fighters, i would assume..

    Cormier, Ngannou, Gastelum are Endomorphs

St. pierre, Paulo Costa types are Mesomorph

Israel Adesanya, Tony Ferguson are more ectomorph

Has literally nothing to do with height and really theres no science to it, its just like a very generic body type and ratio blueprint

  • The bro science in this annoys me I would be classified as an ‘endomorph’. I do pack on the far more than skinner people BUT I have a higher muscle mass. I’m strong AF even when bigger. There is a thing called skinny fat, and thankfully while I may pack on some pounds (especially after a kid), I don’t have any visceral fat which is the most unhealthy thing. It’s really hard with society sometimes, because they always see the one type and go from there. I’m not overweight looking per se. But because I have boobs and ass and hips, I am? It’s annoying.

  • Its not that he’s on gear. Its that they NEVER FKN SAY THAT HE IS! Theyre talking about exercises and diet, but those factors are only 30% maybe of his look -> 70% of his look is a direct result of GEAR!! The media should stop bullshitting us and just say the truth so people dont get discouraged when they go natty and dont get results like his!

  • Just realised. I’ve been watching this guy for years and not subscribed because his his vids always come up on what to watch. Subscribed now. Jobs done. Cheers for the great informative vids️‍♂️

  • Ok, but, it’s not mentioned that he’s clearly supplementing with doctor prescribed TRT. they guy is 42, you cant just up and do that, especially with the extremely low body fat and very vascular look. while gaining size at the same time. you can lift often, eat clean all you want but that just doesn’t come naturally to someone, especially a 42-year-old guy

  • This guy is the ultimate broscientist. There are other videos of him from the same podcast saying dumbshit while coating it in unrelated scientific terms.

  • I remember seeing this video back 8 years ago, when I all I do is workout, is it possible he uploaded it again 2 years ago, or I’ve gone crazy of thinking I saw it in 2012 by the way perfect advice

  • Thank you for always making the best videos that are most informative. I am in need of help but lacking the drive and self motivation to be consistent. I am so discouraged for many reasons. Reasons that are private and personal that I won’t put here. I am now 263 pounds and my weight has been a struggle all my life. Now I am a diabetic and taking insulin has made weight loss harder. My dear is that I will die and not achieve my weight loss goals especially due to finances now. When the finances go everything else follows. Lol. Sorry for putting this here but who else will listen. Keep doing what you do it’s helping some of us out here just lacking the support and encouragement.

  • This video has given me more motivation for becoming stronger and has also given me the basis on nutrition. Thank you, Jeff!

  • If your fitness goals centre on someone else (whether you want to impress them, intimidate them, or assure them), your path will always be harder than if you put yourself first and push yourself for you.
As a guy, I obsessed over how attractive women found me.
But if your primary goal isn’t to feel better first, you’re going to fail.
You run a mile in ten minutes and feel like shit and regretful, or do you run it in nine and want to be better?
Do you lift huge weights to look stronger, or to BE stronger?
If I get a six pack after cutting sugar, excess fat, and simple carbs, great.
    It’s a nice side effect.
If I can push my core workout an extra 5 minutes and sleep better, that’s important to me.
I don’t want us to think that Jeff’s lessons are purely superficial, that it’s all just looking better, but a group of men and women committed to BEING better.
Thanks Jeff for this spotlight on Sheamus, he truly is amazing.

  • Another reason why is because prisoners are on semen retention. They get fed something in their food where it makes them not able to get boners so the semen helps them

  • What’s our excuse? Uhm what about going to work every single day so we can provide for our family’s, doing household chores, stay in touch with friends etc. Basically we barely got any time left. And yes i know if you really want to achieve your goal it’s still possible with the little time there is (just gotta make sacrifices) but what I’m trying to say is that these prisoners have nothing but time so it’s imo easier to achieve their goal.

Nevertheless really great content. Very informative and also funny AF!

  • There are two types of menth health workout videos.
1: Here is some equipment you will never be able to afford
2: Here is a bad workout with which this celeb could never possibly got in his shape

  • So, if you can’t steal food from other inmates you can’t build nothing cause the calories are not enough for bulking. At least you won’t become bigger. Your muscles will adapt to the stimulus you offer doing pushups, pullups, crunches etc, thus you will become physically stronger but your overall muscle mass will not impove.
Moral: Stay out of prison unless you are already jacked before you go in there.

  • They stopped the weights because the prisoners were getting too big for the guards. But it doesn’t matter, because bodyweight exercises get you real jacked!

  • congress really needs to take on steroids again. fucking mens health needs to be sued into oblivion for this shit. every week its some new celebrity getting ripped. two years later they go back to flab when they realize staying on steroids is not worth it. obviously his trainer cant take steroids any more. turns out he is only 34. jk

  • Money!!!!! Cnt gt shredded sitting home.or hands n pockets..when shit hit the fan. Ww must be swole n fit for anything…..strong live on weak die off..facts of live..loin lives..dear Dr eatting alive…same for humans not nothing diff here….

  • It’s easy to lose a pound a week, especially when you’re 40 pounds overweight. Being 40 has nothing to do with it. Track your meals, get a good measure of your bodyfat %, figure out how many pounds of fat that means you have, multiply the pounds of fat by 31 calories per day and you’ve got a solid idea of how many calories per day you can cut without losing significant muscle mass and you’ll lose fat faster than this guy did, doesn’t matter what your age is.

  • not sure maybe someone in the comments will know but was it not charles atlas who first implemented this principle of calisthenics. any how great video thank you for sharing

  • People in the comments are dumb as hell, if he took roids he still had to workout, it is also possible to get these results with old fashioned discipline training and a strict diet,

  • Thanx Jeff..Wow..its really good doing them with U…rather than watching U…..my tummy waz burning B4 i finished 1st set (adding this 2my weekly routine) thanx..Ur a legend

  • These videos with your athletes, whether it is a bit behind the scenes like this one or taking us through a bit of their workout, are always awesome to watch. Thanks!

  • One of the BEST content creators in the fitness game! Consistency is SO crucial, not the powders, liquids, other crazy crap some fitness ppl peddle on YT. Thank you Jeff!

  • Thank you. I have struggled with my absolute need to become more fit as a mountain biker, but dealing with the struggle to remain big. I have my entire life heard, you aren’t fat, you are big. You are strong… in reality, I am fat. Your channel has helped me (same with EDDF) find the truth in fitness. Putting into practice what you teach, and keeping my head aligned by watching EDDF is going to get me to where I need to be. Fitter, faster and stronger in my mid 40’s to continue doing what I love (mountain biking) but being safer. Still working on the details of exercise timing, diet and ensuring I have the wattage for my weekend rides, but at least I have a dose of reality with the 2 truthful fitness channels. Thank you

Audacious goals -> failure -> learning principles -> improving -> more audacious goals

This is so true. I tried working out 5 different times. When I was 16 for a month, when I was 18 for a year, and so on. I never noticed any results.

It was frustrating. The years went by and I didn’t get closer to the body I wanted. But I always came back to researching, studying what I needed to improve on. Nutrition? Rest? Intensity?

Then when I was 24, I tried working out for the fifth time. And because I stuck with it, and gave a shit, stayed consistent, I finally noticed some change. And some people around me started commenting on my body.

It was the first time I tried calisthenics too. All the other four times I tried getting muscle, I was in a gym. And I hated it.

During this quarantine, the main reason I get up every morning is to get stronger. My goals are higher than ever. I keep failing, learning, improving and getting stronger.

Let’s be honest too. I can’t wait for the pandemic to end so I can show off the body I’m gonna build during these solitary months. I wanna impress the fuck out of everyone who hasn’t seen me in a while.

  • I didnt bulk until I was 35. I put on 30 pounds while I was deployed. Now I’m 43 and that picture is current. It’s never too late.

  • All this ecto endo talk doesn’t apply to me.
I have the thin build of an ecto morph but i get fat really easy like what they describe an endomorph to be.

  • For how muscly he is, it surprises me how ignorant Rogan is about stuff like ectomorphs, endomorphs and mesomorphs.
I mean, he had the time and the effort to put in those muscles but he never did 5 minutes of research anybody can do?

  • Who cares if he took steroids? Honestly so what, its his body. There’s no possible way to build that kind of muscle naturally in that time frame so he probably didn’t have a choice after accepting the role. He’s not competing so i don’t see any problem.

  • Want to win an ATHLEAN-X program for free, no strings attached? Click the link below to find out how!

  • what the hell kind of RAM is this that his followers find single harmless people and force them to say JAI JAI RAM and them shame and kill their target lone single harmless person whilst the followers of RAM are atleast 20. In my opinion these Followers of RAM are just cowards

  • Idk man if somehow I ended up in prison, the last thing I probably do is squats. Imagine having a nice, thicc butt in prison, hell no!

  • my excuse is im a picky eater and i gag whenever i try and eat healthy and its been weighing me down for years and i have no idea how to tackle it

  • Making significant changes is so psychological. Forget the knowledge of nutrition, exercise, cardio, etc. It all starts with the right mindset and you getting ready to really accept a lifestyle change, taking ownership of YOU, breaking bad habits, and no BS excuses You can hire the knowledge when the time is right (trainers, nutritionists, yoga instructors, etc.).

  • I can also only strongly recommend to get used to train with “light” weights at higher age…or even sooner. I always loved pushing myself to the limit and setting new PRs with higher and higher weights. When I came close to 40 I could already feel that if I’d continue this way of training I’d pay the price soon.
Now I train with only like 30-40% of the weight I used to and increased intensity through reps, volume etc. I also found out that even though everyone told me it wouldn’t work 5-6 days a week of a full body pump workout works best for me. And it is an awesome feeling to leave the gym with every muscle pumped up and without any sore/painful joints anymore.:D

  • Didn’t watch it do to the clickbait lookin thumbnail. I assume he ate clean and worked out everyday? Common sense comes to mind for some strange reason…

  • I went to a physical therapist for a back injury. I told my pt about Jeff and the tips for recovery from his video. She was like,”let me check this guy out.” Within 30 seconds she was like,”this guy is great. He knows what he’s talking about.”

  • they have to be, otherwise they get raped, thats the answer:p so probably they just do whatever it takes, and thats the secret sauce

  • Jeff, you are an awesome character.
Quoting what amir said and sharing the same with one more super star clearly shows that you share all the good things and end up even giving credit to people

  • Folks I’m 46, and its no harder for me to get in shape than it was when I was 26. I don’t understand the hype about 40 being some point of no return.
Some people just don’t have the drive. They didn’t have it when they were young, and they won’t have it when they’re older.

  • If I would do this EXTREMELY light training for 1 year and being more than a decade younger, I would probably gain no muscle at all.

  • I was the overly skinny lad in school and got bullied a lot for it so when i moved out from home I was happy to become fat very fast getting addicted to sodas and chips real fast… At 19 I was already so fat that i could hardly walk my dog without acid buildups in my legs and back and shoulders.. At 25 I started getting infections in my shoulder sacks and since then I have been struggling with mental issues and only in the last two years i managed to through hard work and healthy eating, still doing 2-4 liter coke a day, to lose little over 80 pounds of fat…Today i am skinny again though abit more muscular and manly i struggled putting on muscle… I thank you alot athlean-x, you are by far my favorite inspirational and informational channel right now.. In only 2 months I have put on 4 pounds of lean muscle mass in the right places, i no longer have “bitch tits”, got a flat and muscular chest, shoulders and veins popping in both my forearms and biceps.. Now i only need to work harder on my other side of the biceps as i do look pretty scrawny yet. But again, ty! I also run alot other then my calisthenics and my legs are absolutely shredded. Hope to get my upper body to catch up prior to 40. I am atm 36 years old. This 40 year olds story was great, Seamus much respect to you to. Great work!

  • I have just 2 miserable months of weight training behind me but it’s so motivating to see the passion in the eye of a teacher, too bad i’m in Europe.cheers and thanks

  • If you are reading this i want you to know that within the next 6 months you will become a millionaire. Keep taking action and believing in yourself, the energy you put out to the universe is being recieved and your time is coming. Keep it up!

  • I do s prison work out everyday keeps me moving man… Let me say this though it’s no joke why they’re swole so don’t test it they got more than muscle brewing man

  • LIES!!! Sheamus was just jealous of Jesse. Now he looks more like Jesse….COOL!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Jeff….. What is two hundred & forty seven thousand three hundred & sixty five? xD

More Edit: Jesse, He’dropped the gauntlet man. Don’t let that jealous ginger get away with dissing the star of the show. Kick his ass.

  • It’s not an air squat, it’s just a damn squat. Do you “air” squat when squatting on the ground? No? Do people walk around with a barbell making a barbell squat just a squat? NO? Jesus christ people quit trying to rename shit.

  • Raise your butt and legs straight off the ground as your laying down they lower it as slow as you can until you get to about 1 inch from the ground without touching the ground then raise legs/butt back up as fast as you can then repeat.. as you get more advanced as your lowered down have a second person push down on your leg while your prevent yourself from touching the ground then raise it back up as fast as you can and repeat.. you will get insanely ripped and defined abs that way especially the lower abs which tends to be the hardest part of the abdominals to define.

  • I wish I could workout in an empty gym with the latest equipment. Due to acute social anxiety, it takes a lot for me to get in the gym, but I do it any way.

  • He seems to know what he is talking about but I believe the body type stuff of endomorph, mesomorph, and the other one is not backed up by science. I liked what he had to say about training smarter but I don’t know how true it is.

  • I don’t believe evolution works that way.. That “everybody’s got fight in them, ’cause othervice they’d not gotten here.” Dude hasn’t heard of genes?? You don’t need to own fighting genes to pass on fighting genes.
Oh it got a bit more difficult now.. Didn’t think this trough xD.. Of course you own those genes if you pass them on, but I think it works in a way that there are “active” genes in your dna which build you and those that are just in your dna doing nothing. I meant you don’t need to own “active” fighting genes (meaning you are not a fighter, period) to pass on fighting genes.
Whoah.. I’t so easy to get things mixed up..

  • This video along with the no equipment workout video really made me realize there are no excuses for not working out and becomming that person you strife to be.

  • This guy is spouting bullshit. These named bodytypes have no scientific basis, it’s just broscience that will harm peoples motivation beacuse they will be convinced they are genetically indisposed to reach their goals. Genetics is much more complicated then something that can be put in 3 categories.

  • I know I hate when people mention age but I’m 14 eat a shit ton and have the ability to do these and think I’m a Meso I’m fit about 5-9 and 140 pounds but am lacking muscle development what can I do

  • Those fuck’n ectomorph bitches need a lot a naps and they’re always tired…hilarious. There’s a least one pure, priceless nugget in every episode.

  • Hi Jeff. I’m 46 year old male and I’m 5:11 and weigh 150ibs. I can’t afford to pay for 10 meals a day, I’m trying to put on some weight as well as bulk up, even to Jesse’s level, sorry Jess, how best can I tackle this from home? I have 6 lbs dumb bells and a resistance band. I’m also after left shoulder surgery and have limited mobility which I also need help with. Sorry for all the questions guys but, heaven sent you my way . Peace Love to all.

  • Do you guys take any supplements. And for work do you guys. Have any heavy duty jobs. How old are you guys. Are you guys 30 or younger.

  • 7:05 this exercise is extremly op for streetfighter, boxer or people who want to get a stronger punch and want to defend themself.

  • Firas Zahabi is correct about body types. It’s not bro science as one pointed out either, you can research it for yourself and come to the same conclusions.

  • I know this an older video, but Jeff—what would you say to do for lower chest in people who have had Pectus Excavatum surgery? I had it, and it looks like the surgeon cut into my lower pecs, so they are more square than normal.

  • Muscle markers really connect on how the muscles work. I pay more attention to my movements now. I’m seeing great results from your exercises. You explain alot better than most personal trainers. Thank you Jeff

  • First the pads on the zerchers, then the depth? He doesn’t have the MINDSET, not even gear will make your legs grow if you don’t have the MINDSET

  • Form follows function. Amen! All Praises to The Almighty for the inspiration you brothers are giving! Great video! Keep going, Brothers!

  • At 41 theres def test involved n tren like Rock uses. (Please dont deny it nor be naive to think he doesnt!) Ive been in hardcore bb for 30 yrs…its just a fact folks! Nutrition n exercise tweaks sure def needed….but Jeff dont ignore the dirty lil secret either k!

  • I enjoyed the workout. I’m a 58 years old back at it. This workout got to seven sets of 60 pushups. Two sets above my normal sets.

  • Can’t get ripped if your skin has stretched from weight gain. Unfortunately it doesn’t unstretch. Surgery can remove excess but it has its own set of side effects.

  • I think one reason why they get swole is because they can sleep and get proper rest for their muscles to grow. Also yes they can work out as much as they want. I have to got to work everyday so I can’t deviate that much time to workout. If I could take 3 naps a feat and a full night of rest and just workout in between then I would grow much faster.

  • If you don’t want to get fucked in prison then you better be the one doing da fuck’n! And it’s hard to hold another man down while your laying pipe without bigger muscles than his!

  • Only my third video I’ve watched. I love bringing awareness to great calisthenics workouts. Being in the military it’s important to know that you can build your body anyplace anytime. That means there’s no excuse. Weights are good too,but not necessary.

However, after this vid, I think it’s just as important to address blatant narcissism, as it’s such a common tendency yet so destructive on both an individual and societal level.

And these guys are narcissists. I suspected by the shirts off flexing and shit, but confirmed by the leg workouts.

I’m not bragging, as I’ve never considered myself even close to physically elite. But id do single leg pistol squats for sets of 20 easy.

They wanna look good, nothing more. Why not just get plastic surgery?

Edit: only one way to do pistol squats ya twat

  • You guys are amazing great energy intelligent know what you’re talking about. I noticed that my brother’s were different races but laughing having fun working out and bonding as men should. We are all brothers in God’s eyes so we need to learn to judge a man or woman by character not color. Much love I wish you brothers all the happiness life has to give!!!!! ONE LOVE!!!!

  • I love the community feel you have going on!! If you have a second I’d love your support as I start my own small channel! I’m working hard at getting in shape & you know what it is like in the beginning every like & sub is such a victory!! I’m a new sub of yours and love the channel!!

  • With a personal trainer and without a 9-5 job, it’s much easier to concentrate on such a project as your body. But who can effort that?

  • Seriously. 600 of you didn’t like this video why? This is a transformation of a dude you didn’t expect. Could you imagine if they came out with a surprise season of Silicone valley and a jacked Dinesh is in the picture? “I’m on a new level… Eat the Gilfoyle”

  • Wow in my mind I’m like when and how? It’s like they slapped a bodybuilders body with kumail’s face using Photoshop. Respect to him

  • Set point, and settling point theories are valid. Now. They with those morph things, are talking about power rangers more than science. This is a good paper i’ve been reading for a while now.

  • Our entire deployment we’ve had no gym and we lift sand bags, concrete blocks, put wire spools on pry bars, lift water cans… Soldiers do the same thing.

  • 8:03 it’s interesting to note push-tup hand positions. I have my arms in the same position but I rotate my hands outward because it feels better for my shoulders. Anything wrong with me doing it like this:
    https://youtu.be/ZPAIcVrmEqk?t=35

  • To those arms and legs Shredda torso relatively big. A tight belt time to time wont hurt, caz that body hella solid, that big waist just ain’t doing it any Justice

  • From what Ive read and learn over the years about bodybuilding is you dont get that amount of muscles in a year with just protein and creatine. But you dont get that amount of muscles with just steroid alone without proper diet and hardwork in gym

  • I was born looking like the chub on the left. I look like him even when the keto strip and keto blood meter says I am in ketosis. Damn

  • Thoughts on Ripped at 4o tri con training if you have any please. I am 47 and just had to take a year off due to chronic tendenitous in both elbows (tennis elbow) that just would not heal. I am back now and want to know should I be training LESS? ie once a week per body part and do say 4 days total per week with 3 days rest?

  • I bought one of Jeff’s program and my life changed. I’m on my fifth week, I’ve lost 22lbs, I dropped my BF from 29% to 23% but most importantly I found the nutrition easy to follow and to stick to. I can see myself eating the way I’ve been eating for a long time with a few cheat meals every now and then. I’m definitely buying another program from Jeff once I finish this one (BEAXST).

  • Cut the sugar cut the fruit frutos bad carbohydrates guaranteed you will lose weight and eat no later than 6:00 at night and the first meal the next day eat at 12 or 2

  • Veg and Meat only diet… combined with tart Vítor Belfort blood after the Rockhold wheel kick. This dude’s sweat will make you fail a test. Any kinda test: drug test, math, driving, j-walking, you name it. #mexicansupplements_or_sniffing.alley.cats

  • You tards are acting like he took Tren, lifted dumbbells for 20 mins and then took these pictures.
He obviously did cycles but he still has a 100 times the discipline and work ethic of you jealous limpdicks who hump your pillows when you get horny. Either train hard or stfu and go back to humping.

  • The new Bruce Lee Rip Right is right there. Damn Burnhards shape is everyones goal. The kind of stuff you only see in animes but never thought was real.

  • What about the supplements he was taking and I’m not talking about Creatine. Lol. Most people don’t even think about it but almost all actors that have to get into incredible shape are on some kind of cycle. This is a bit more than eating clean and training hard. Just the nature of the movie business

  • Kumail has come from an amazing journey, the hard work he’s put in is undeniable. Probably works out 10 times a week, cardio in the morning, weights in the evening, and not to discredit the hard work, but I can see that testosterone aromatization in his nipples. With a good trainer, hard work and some extra help, we can all be superheroes.

  • I’d pretty much guarantee he’s still under 190, he’s probably got a crazy diet and a pro trainer going with him several hours a day. Probably filmed this dehydrated for the veins and tone. It’s really not hard to imagine this physique without juice.

  • Now I’m feeling strong because I got 3kg of lean muscle in 1 month. I only visited website called NextLevelDiet and they provided me with diet plan, training plan with amazing tips. Believe me!!! #*Next Level Diet*

  • Lol it’s easy for him to say. With no actual job, access to the best trainers the best gym equipment the best nutrition and cutting edge medical help

  • For a magazine supposedly about “Men’s Health” you sure do love to peddle in snake oil and harmful bullshit when you try to peddle this type of body recomposition as natural or healthy.

  • I really like your approach and thought process, simplifying basic exercises with focusing on the quality of the exercise rather than the weight. I have been in great shape most of my life. I am a Disabled Veteran who has been unable to work out for the past 4 years. I want to try your 22 day push up routine and the lower chest routine as well as your other routines. I feel I need to build my muscle base and stability up before I will be able to safely execute the exercises as your shown. Would you recommend a 3 on 3 off routine where I perform Chest and Triceps, Back and Biceps and Shoulders and thighs, rest day repeat. Or should I perform whole body routines? Thank You. • Dude, you can only get shred when you large cos, even dudes that do no shit, still got them six park, delt, and muscle definition. If your ass ain’t large enough for size, please, you no shredded but instead maintaining fit. And, if you smaller for size but fat and find yourself shred while on training that’s fat loss and keeping fit. It ain’t no shredding. Let me split the science, if you building you will build and what we all builds on gym, is them damn muscles. Since what you building is muscles, then it shows up by bulky in size. I mean you can’t say you building without an increase in size as evidence of increase in muscle deposition on your damn body. So, if you remain small, then you not building but, keeping fit. If you didn’t gat them fats when you started and you didn’t build, it’s fitness you ve done. If there was fat and its gone while your shreds shows but no extra size in body muscle mass, that’s fat burn and keeping fit. You don’t need a gym to shredd, fat burns shows them shreds. So, when you says you shredding then you are to meant muscle built while maintaining a shred. That’s is the actual shredding. Shredding is a continuous process while shreds is just what’s just there to see. If you muscle building but your fat level is also adding as well, that is called bulking. If you not muscle building but your fat level is adding, that is them damn fattening. You guys not shredding cos I ain’t seeing extra muscle mass unless, as I don’t know you before probably you were very skinny until now, then that’s shredding. But, i bet, you both this size before. No shredding buddies.

  • I love my Brown skin. When we build our muscles we look so awesome cause we shine when the sun or light hits us.I get why racist call us shines now

  • If u eat right. Sleep. Don’t drink alcohol. U can look swole. With a professional chef and working out, easy money. Any real athlete has seen it if not done it. Roids and hgh help but he woulda still been swole if he did those things.

  • I know the hardwork and efforts the workouts and meals…still the people working out plus eating clean for 5years know that body is not natty.. Cycles and roids….

  • Fuck this wank. The smart people know he’s on roids, the dumb people are gonna copy him and get disillusioned by their results. He should just come out and joke about the fact that he’s juicing.

  • Jeff you are THE best on YouTube, Instagram and anywhere else. I don’t pay for training, but your many videos have helped me leaps an bounds.

  • endo morph keep what you eat,eat fat and sugar, will get chubby, eat protein, will get muscle
ectomorph is the opposite, you need to do a refill to maintain the fat and muscular level
meso morph are the half way of it
is so easy to lose or to keep, and that gives more opportunity to be bulky or skinny

  • From what i know, Joe I
    is right:
Ecto: doesn’t get fat, has hard time gaining fat, generally tall with long limbs and good resistance.
Meso: gets muscles easily, have wide shoulders.
    Endo: gets fat easily.
At least for men i think It works this way. Regardless, no one Is 100% Meso, Echto or Endo, we are all a mixture of those three to a certain degree. Anyone can get a good physic, people who tend to be at the extremes of the spectrum, Endo and especially Ehto, will have a hard time getting it. The method to build muscles is pretty much the same, somatotypes determine just your potential and how hard will it be to get results.

  • This will NOT work for most people wanting to copy this. Not because it’s wrong but because you won’t be able to adapt it to your current level without some knowledge. I am skinny and I’m getting shredded with far less than those movements inclined pulls, flat knee tucks, inclined pushes and so on. It’s not even about the movement but about taking in slightly less Kcal than maintenance (200-300kcal) and moving a lot (on the endurance side vs training for hypertrophy); you can eat normal if you do a lot of volume that’s why endurance athletes eat 30-40% more than your average persona and they’re shredded.

For a person to do those movements it takes a certain level of strength. For that you can follow classic calisthenics like Convict Conditioning going through the progressions (google that up, you got 2-3 books in pdf, progressions diagrams, videos and so on 6 movements for the whole body, stick with 4 until you’re half way then add shoulders and back because you’ll need strong arms for that). You will not be able to train for endurance with these movements IF you don’t have the strength already.

The emphasis is on endurance vs strength the opposite spectrum of strength training, high reps, volume. This is what every trainer will do, including guys like Steve Zim who did some of the superhero actors body transformations. You could do rollerbladng or soccer drills every day for 30-60min and still get skinny shredded (lean).

So the takeaway is that the methods is what matters, not some specific movements. They are super-setting sets, going high rep, and probably eating around maintenance or under with high protein like 1g/lbs from actual food not powders totally doable both on plants and animal protein (on plant you got seitan, legumes including tofu, grains and so on seitan is almost pure protein like chicken breast or beef and you can make your own for cheap).

  • These comments make me weak. Unless you’ve been doing this for a while (8-10+ years and do know how to body works), you can without a doubt achieve a body like this. I have done with this friends in the past. All you need is a solid diet (macros/micro custom made to the client), custom made strength training program that causes them to work on the key muscle groups that help create the “Adonis ratio/Golden ratio” while incorporating hiit cardio here and there to really intense up the heat. Doing this for a short period of time works. This is just advice though. You would need to contact and go over all of this with your physician or primary doctor before doing any of this

  • Of course this wasn’t the workout that got him like that, ya dipshits. Everyone would look like this with access to equipment, customized meals, and not having to do anything else besides lifting, eating clean and sleeping All while being paid to do so. So yeah, not roids, just lots of money and time.

  • THUMBS UP!!!
    then watch!!!

“my issue” is developing YUMMY LOOKING ABS (so that i can feel more like…uumm…the age i’ve been for…a minute!! lol!!! screw what my id says. it’s wrong!! GO ME!!! I CAN DO IT!!!) hahaaaa!!!)

  • This guy is obviously not on roids which is a good thing. His arms and traps are well developed but I have a hard time watching his chest and shoulder exercises because I don’t think the’re as developed. I don’t mean to sound like I’m putting him down. Just an observation.

  • M. Shredder dropping a lot of gems in this video. Thanks Shredder and Burnhard! Burn hard with Burnhard and get shredded with Shredder!!!!! Let’s gooooo!!!

  • bro I haven’t smoked out of an apple in years and I’m about to do it right now I’m going to the kitchen to get an apple fuck I’m out of apples.

  • Great exercises for the upper body, but what about the legs? Their bodies looks disproportionate w/strong upper but weak lower… That’s seems to be a running theme out on the East coast…just saying

  • The Somatotypes; Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph are not classified as biological body types, they came from pictures being taken of students showing their postures in the 1940’s and then a psychologist named William Sheldon wanted to use these photos for his own research. William had a theory that certain body types and personalities were linked, which has been proven to be a load of bollocks.

If people get brainwashed into thinking “Oh I’m an Ectomorph so I won’t be able to grow a lot of muscle” what is that going to do for their morale? I’m sure pharmaceutical companies love it as these low morale people are their ‘potential customers’, throwing money away to buy these drink powders which aren’t even needed.

The freaky thing is that people in the past have been killed from genocide due to having ‘apparent negative genetics’. William Sheldon’s work was linked to that from the Nazi’s.

Anyone can grow a decent amount of muscle just from training, food, water and sleep. Powders and all that crap are not needed. Yeah okay some people are much more bigger in muscle, but let’s face it, they take PED’s or gifted more than the many average.

  • I’m 50 years of age and I have accomplished the look and level of fitness that Stallone had in the 80’s and 90’s in the last year. I owe most of this to my OMAD diet and of course the hard work that I put in at the gym and the park bars but I would be remiss if I left Jeff out of the conversation, he has kept me safe and healthy with his tips on safety and proper form but he has pushed me as well to go the distance, to stop my mind from being my worst enemy and go too FAILER. I am not a man who wants bulk but I do want to be strong and healthy and with Jeff instructing me, I am well on my way…Thanks brother and take care.

  • I enjoyed this video one of my favorites and respect to all you guys with positive comments probably the best comments I’ve read in a while no negative energy in here!
