  • Who has time to go to bed at 11pm and wake up at 7am? Is that like a vacation sleep schedule or something? I own a business so that’s pretty unreasonable.

  • Guys! I’m a small BookTuber & just started book review series on YouTube. Plz check out the channel & if you like then subscribe. It motivates me to make more videos & work with consistency.

  • “Get enough sleep” as if it’s just that simple. What about when you wake up not having gotten enough sleep and can’t fall back asleep? And you go to bed at the same time every night, but due to inconsistent and often poor sleep, you wake up at wildly varying times?

    This video is just stupid obvious shit that anyone with serious sleep trouble would have tried already. Like, if you’re consistently waking up tired, it’s probably a problem more entrenched than having poor sleep hygiene.

  • Another way is to set a timer when you will go to sleep and when it will ring, you can switch it of and go to sleep my trick that I do before going to bed

  • I downloaded flux a while ago for my computer. Lots of glitches with flashing, and when you uninstall the program your computer stays orange. So you have to constantly click the task bar to make the screen normal every couple minutes.

  • Finally someone that acknowledges ppl up at 2 am I’ll try this tomorrow but at least I know now that there’s nothing I can do

  • Hi Mariana! I always enjoy watching your videos, they are so beautiful, create a great atmosphere and are super helpful as well! As a German who is also into productivity and currently working on creating a style that would work for my future content I wanted to ask if you’d be interested in doing some German practice with me as a native speaker? I also worked as a language teacher for the last 2 years and might be able to give you some tips for studying German!:) What do you think? All the best, Michaela!

  • I wanted to feel something again i wanted to find my old self my happy self not my sad self i wanna learn to be happy again I’ve left numb and my minds blank ik its crazy

  • One more great tips is to mentaly prepare yourself and get excited for the next day by thinking positive thoughts before bed time

  • I lay out my outfit too. I laughed when you said about needed to hit snooze twice because I do exactly the same thing ! There’s not really a lot I do to get ready in the mornings… I’m very low maintenance lol xx

  • I recommend trying peaceful and productive routines to figure out what works. Well, I am an early person and I tried „peaceful“ morning routines, but I figured out that I have to be productive immediately. Otherwise a peaceful morning becomes a lazy day.

  • My hubby sleeps late at night but the day I tell him ” Today u have to clean the dishes in the sink ” he is in his bed around 10pm

  • During this lockdown I’ve been doing all of these and got in to a routine of waking up between 6-7am. I continued doing most of this once I started to work again except the exercise part and it really works.
    I haven’t even seen the video until now I just decided to do these things on my own but obviously it helped to have a complete lockdown to do it

  • How do you keep such perfect posture when you sit and work? Is it something that comes completely natural to you, or did you have to work on that?

  • 1. stop snoozing;
    2. get enough sleep—set a routine, go to bed at the same time for one week so youʼll know how many hours you need;
    3. rehydrate and get blood flowing—after waking up, do some body exercises;
    4. avoid screens before bed.

  • Literally every fucking video on YouTube about tips for good sleep
    1Don’t snooze
    2Get enough sleep
    3Drink water
    4Avoid screens prior to sleep

    Be fucking original. This info has been out there for the longest and if people still searching for the answers, obviously these aren’t working. Come up with something different instead of repeating what’s already out there. Boring. This is just for the views

  • A Simple Recipe for Eudaemonia or Happiness from Affective Neuroscience

    HYPOTHESIS: Dopaminergic activity will stimulate endogenous opioid systems when the latter are in a non-suppressed state.
    EXPLANATION AND ‘PROOF’: Activity that involves continuous positive act/outcome discrepancy or novelty (productive or meaningful behavior) while the covert musculature is inactive (a resting state) will result in heightened feeling of pleasure and arousal, or ‘eudaemonia’, ‘flow’, or ‘peak’ experience. This derives from the observation that neuro-muscular tension (or stress) inhibits endogenous opioid (pleasure) release, while relaxation accentuates it, the latter permitting opioid systems to be further stimulated by dopaminergic activity (arousal) elicited by meaningful behavior.
    The reason this explanation does not appear evident from general observation is that its counterpart as ‘flow’ or ‘peak’ experience is described through literary metaphor and not scientific language and obscures the independent and dependent measures that accurately describe it. The virtue of this explanation is that it is easily testable by anyone. Just get into a relaxed state (mindfulness protocols are the best way to do this) and then exclusively pursue or anticipate pursuing productive activity for periods of a half hour or so, and voila, you will have a flow or eudaemonic experience. It is that simple.

  • This is so true! I definitely learn from her and agree with her. Similar concept can be applied for covid 19. If every single one of us knows how to take care of ourselves, follow all the social distancing protocol, think for other people by staying home, then we can help by saving so many lives. If every single one of us can do this and don’t be selfish, we can help each other to overcome the pandemic.
