4 Simple Steps To CRUSH Your 2018 Goals

Video taken from the channel: EGTBasketball

With just a few tips you can set yourself up for success. Check out these six tips to help you crush your goals in 2019. If you really want to push yourself to crush your goals in the new year.

6. Take action! There is no time like the present. You’ve got to start somewhere, so dig deep, find your courage and go for it. Your goals will never happen if you don’t take action. It may.

You don’t want to push too hard on people—sometimes it just takes a 15 percent shift in your strategy. And sometimes it’s that very next person who will say “yes.” So keep moving forward on your goals. Always believe that today is going to be your day. #3 – Be patient.

You must also have amazing patience when going for your biggest. Instead, pick one thing you want to crush—like, doing a pull-up, or completing your first-ever 5K—and channel your efforts into achieving that before exploring another goal. 2. Make it your own. Set concrete goals. To become successful faster, you first need a road map for your career.

After all, you can’t take shortcuts if there’s no end point in mind. Setting goals puts you in the driver’s seat, giving you the power to transform your life or take a company into the future. As enticing as that sounds, it is more common than not those goals are abandoned.

To be successful, check your goals against my ten steps to help ensure you accomplish them. 1. Belief. The only way to push on is if you have the true burning desire to succeed, to not be moved or dissuaded from your goals.

Advertising If you are not truly dedicated towards success, then each failure will hurt more, each set back will slow you down. What makes them motivated is the curiosity about how much better or faster they can get. So above all, be curious, and this will lead you to your goals and success.

As you work to achieve your most ambitious goals, push yourself to keep moving forward with these 17 motivational quotes. Related: Top of Mind: 7 Ways to Boost Self-Motivation 1. 6 Ways to Finish Strong (When Your Momentum Is Low) 6 Steps to Success With Short-Term Goals.

Setting short-term goals will lead you closer to a happier and more successful life, but can you achieve that? Hope and expectancy are two powerful motivators in propelling you forward to a successful life.

  • I’m 13 and my goal is to takeover. I have been good enough my recent basketball career to “make the team” but I could never step up and shoot or take responibility and play the way I know I’m capable of. This year I’m working with EGT and other trainers to get even better, build my confidence. To officialy build myself into the team leader I know I can be. 2016-17 6th grade Varsity Stats 1.2ppg 3-apg 2-rpg… 2017-18 JV (I was the last cut) stats 12ppg 6APG 6RPG…. Early Spring 2018 AAU stats6 ppg 4 apg 2 rpg.

Already getting my improvement. Going to improve over summer AAU into the player I know I can be. Looking forward to 8th grade tryouts so I can get back on Varsity and become the leader that I know is possible out of me. #trusttheprocess #EGT

  • Would you recommend filling in the page template you described in the end of the video and the goal table at the beginning every night, or should I only fill out the table once?

  • Coach im “on” a college team already, i am redshirting, so i practice with the team already.. im just confused on how to set these goals

  • One of my goals was to male the All-EGT team 3rd or better.

I have no doubt I will make this happen. I have been writing goals ever since a handful of months ago, when I learned about this technique through email.

Thanks for posting again. Please continue to post great content and I will do my best to respond.

  • Start as being friends
    You make each other laugh
You always want to be together
You’ve seen each other go through hard things and they stuck with you
Other couples hate that you aren’t together
When it feels like it is perfect

  • Best tutorial to date, now i have to un-learned have I’ve been doing past few weeks. Good to find this earlier than much later. Thanxz heaps.
btw those rope looks thick, diameter & weight?

  • I am not jumping rope as before, but still enjoy and loved it, doing like 2-3 times per week with calisthenics also, I still have problem about wrist & grip and on footwork but I am working on it, piece man.

  • So i am in grade 7 and just today there was this team thingy for some school games it was awkward because i was sitting behind my crush he looked back talking to his friend then he looked at me we ended up looking at each others eyes for like 5 seconds untill the Mean girl said his name Im like a smidge close to getting with my crush TYSM JOSH you have earned a new sub

  • This video took 7:47 minutes but I watched it for like 10 minutes due to all rewinding I did because it was had to pay attention while reading the comments

  • I love the tough love talks. For me, I’m really good at setting and following thru on the writing goals. I struggle with the editing goals because they’re not as clear cut. Instead of “write so many words” as a goal its “edit so many words” but then there is a big plot whole that needs to be figured out. Then I switch my goal to “edit for 1.5 hours per day” and that is much harder for me to stick to then writing a set amount of words. Today I’ll be using #4 and #5. Stay focused and stop making excuses. You rock Sarra!

  • You guys are my goals I be gotten straight A’s with ap classes for the 1st semester my mother told me that if I get straight A’s the whole year I can get 200 dollars. I want to use your programs over the summer bc I’m coming off the bench of my high schools freshmen team. I’m going to keep you guys updated bc next year I want to be a starting guard on my schools varsity team

  • This was a much needed video, Only been skipping since Jan consistently but I’ve already got some bad habits that I cringe at whenever I record myself.

But it’s a learning process, my mind feels stronger, my body feels stronger and the weights coming off so you cant have it all haha.

Love the tutorials and ego checks, need to improve footwork and timing and forget about speed for now. I’ll definitely watch this vid a few more times before I jump tomorrow and really try to implement as much of this as I can.

  • Great tips! Some gems for goal achievement for sure.

Also, I’d add that people should not feel pressured to accomplish goals in every area of life all in 1 yr. Choose one specific area (finance, relationships, health, etc.) and set one goal in that area and put all your focus on that so there is no overwhelm. Once you succeed, add more goals.

  • I can do every move you taught in your channel but i recently changed my grip from baseball grip to your thumb grip and after doing double unders the internal part of my hand really hurts any tips?

  • Alex, I have a problem with my look
I look good and I m stylish but there is that guy who looks hotter than my
Before he came to my school I was the hottest dude in school but now everybody forgot me and just they are looking at him
    What should I do???

  • That awkward moment when you and your crush are basicly the same person (like same interests, fav foods, fav colour and fav movies are all the same) and you even live in the same country, but your crush is also Shawn Mendes and doesn’t know you exist

  • HB90 IS life-changing, and I can’t wait to work through it for the third time! Also, thank you for telling me to stop making excuses, Sarra. 😉 You’re absolutely right! Now that I’ve settled into the new day job, I think planning my writing time for Q2 will be easier-even if it simply boils down to only three hours every Thursday (just as an example). It’s about time I start prioritizing it and getting it done. <3

  • Published author here to say THANK YOU. Seriously. I need to buckle down and ignore (for now) the sexy new ideas, or else I’ll never finish another book.

  • I think im gonna subscribe your channel coz it helps me progressively in my jump rope/speed rope.. give me a shout out bro from Philippines! Keep updating your channel coz i enjoy it..

  • I really want to wake up early and I say every night, “I will wake up early tomorrow, for sure!!”….
    Next morning, me at 9:30:

  • If someone stares at me, I Look at them back in there cheeks continuosly while walking, so that time I bumped my head in the wall and it hurt so freakin bad…
Hope you guys will do it too

  • My crush is perfect he always wants to see me happy on one of my worst days he literally said “can you do me a favor, smile, because when you’re happy I’m happy” I love him so much!

  • So much sense making on oone channel is AWESOME! So glad I found you. Thanks for the video. I’m going to dive into my planner now and see how we’re doing for this NaNo. <3

  • For black guys they can be light or dark but they have to be tall and have long hair for white guys have to be tall black hair and I like it when guys have long or short hair with tattoos

  • This is probably one of the best tutorials I’ve seen for a long time, now i know why i keep failing, gonna work on this asap, cheers Rushie

  • In my school, there’s a couple who have been dating for three years and we are in the freshmen year of high school. True love is out there people

  • I started you HB90 system this year. My writing goals for Q1 were to get all five books of my anchor series plotted and to write 20k words of book #1. As of today I have all five books plotted and I’m sitting at a little over 39k words of book #1. I’m shaping up to be 30k words ahead of my goal for Q1! That’s really exciting but the real reason why I’m so far ahead is because I’ve never tried to write a book before and I vastly underestimated my weekly word count abilities. So I’m not likely to have the same level of “success” in Q2 as I’ll have to adjust my goals upward as appropriate.

That being said, thank you so much for all that you do on this channel (and for your etsy products)! You’ve seriously changed my life because up until now I never knew how to go about working toward my dreams. Your “How to plot your novel” series was the turning point for me and everything else has just been fuel for the fire. Love you!

  • I watched “How to Write Faster” and decided to set a word count goal and set up an Excel spreadsheet inputting data from my sprints (what day, what time, where I am). It’s working well so far. Learning a lot about how much I can accomplish in a given time. So far I’m writing more words in less time. Thank you for the tips!

  • Great video, you are helping me focus my planning and my plotting. I have been flailing around at planning and writing for years, all my life really. It is really coming along so much better these days, thank you.

  • Actually i go to the gym at night i come home at 3 pm take a nap arround 5 wake up at 8 and go its amazing then after the gym you go sleep and 40% of soreness is already gone give it a try and tell me how you fell

  • In this video i am confused in one tip.. Which is… Not grab your phone right after you wake up grab it only if you have something urgent work.. Right.. But the time i woke up at 5:30 am i used to watch your inspiration videos and pics related fitness..then after i go gym… So i guess its important to grab the phone in morning for get my body move..

  • Setting realistic goals has been my struggle. I am editing/revising the 5th draft of my YA urban fantasy and my goal was unrealistic compared to my pace. I couldn’t figure out why I was struggling. I started tracking my editing time and figured out exactly how long it takes me to edit a certain amount of words. Then I figured out how long it would take me to finish editing at that pace. I set a daily total of words to edit that was slightly above what was doing. So far I am on target and I don’t feel like a constant failure.

  • I have never been a planner, and have not set writing goals; which is probably why I am not where I should be. Thank you, I am going to get a planner and set goals.

  • You always have a great way of making writing/self-publishing goals sound attainable while also giving us realistic ideas on how to go about making it happen. Thank you for all of your stellar advice!

  • My biggest problem with my novel is that, I think “How can I start writing? I’m not done outlining, I’m not done wordbuilding, I haven’t fleshed out my characters.” And then I just blank and stop and procrastinate. How can I overcome this?

  • I set my alarm before I need to get up.

So by the time I do come to, I don’t feel like shite

It lets you have a ‘natural’ waking pattern imo.

  • We are excited to hear about you all crushing and achieving your goals this year. So if you’re up for it, share one of your goals you are looking to achieve below.

  • Thanks for all your videos, you are such an inspiration, you actually make me believe that i can do it. Congratulations on the baby

  • What big writing goals are you working toward right now? Where are you struggling or getting stuck? Let’s talk about it in the comments.

  • I’m attracted to guys with high and pointy eyebrows.. and guys that are kinda hawt as Cat Noir.. (My crush does look like Cat Noir) (●♡∀♡)

  • My crush came into my life in one of my darkest times which I’m still in but close to the end of it and that person is awesome.

This is about the same crush
So I was at school the other day and I caught my crush looking at me twice and he kinda ignored me but he did talk to me like 5 times since I was t at school for the last few weeks of last term sick ( NOT WITH THE VIRUS!!!!) and didn’t really see him until a few days ago.

I remember last term before the pandemic was really bad he would come to me every day and ask for food which was something that started after we started talking, then he join our schools Capel singers and musical and we talk here and there in those things, would he be perfect for me or not.

  • I want to possibly date this guy but i don’t know if I want to be with him forever. Like maybe a year or two (I’m in 8th grade) but I don’t want to feel trapped all through out high school

  • Thanks for another tune-up on focusing on the goals! I’m almost halfway through the first draft of my first cowboy romance, so I’m already thinking about how I can make my Q2 goals a better fit. The confidence is coming I’m finding the mindset that I can write more each day showing up consistently now. I CAN write something besides children’s plays, picture books, and musicals.

  • I want a boyfriend who is:
    Really tall
    Nice
    Smart
At least a little bit handsome
    Has a good personality
    Funny
    Good with little siblings

  • I can comfortably write one book a month. My new goal is to get the first draft of a second book done as well. I plan to do this using dictation with Dragon Anywhere. My problem is that my energy has been low for awhile. I’ve given up wheat and sugar and see phenomenal results in my body. But when the afternoon rolls around, I feel so tired. I’m starting a yoga practice and hope that it increases my energy so that I can soon dictate a chapter a day for the second book.

  • So much YES to everything in this video. I feel like I’ve muddled my way towards a lot of these techniques, but it’s taken years and years and years. I definitely wish your channel existed when I was just starting out!
I love your point about not making excuses. I know how easy that can be, and how much you can get done when you stop doing it. I run a B&B, have a ten-month-old daughter here with me all day, and my big goal for this year is to publish three books, two novellas and 50k words of serial fiction by the end of 2019 (which sounds unreasonable when I put it like that, but I’ve been working up to this over four years of self-publishing). And, like you, I still want to be able to fit in an hour of WoW now and again, too!

  • Good quality info for beginners here
Important to add that if people are using ropes with a mechanism, such as a Crossrope, your hand placement will generally be in that slightly wider stance facing outwards simply to let the rope rotate efficiently (at least that’s what I find).
Moving to the RA Speedrope is a bit of a challenge really, in terms of changing those engrained habits of mine.

  • Hey alex u r great buddy… Just a heads up that i am from india and u have plenty foreign followers so try to make ur content such that its applicable to all and especially students. See u said make ur to do list but students dont have anything new coming up with every new day. I hope u understand. Love from India ❤️

  • I’m I’m 13 and I’m 5 feet 6 inches and the thing is i like guys that are taller than me which is almost impossible because I’m so tall

  • Not gonna lie working out late night is hands down the best time to workout for me. But I only get to do it on the weekends because when I do I can’t sleep
