  • I can’t believe that’s Tuna from Blow… Good job man, I’m a huge fan from American History X and all your movies. Keep pushing and don’t quit!

  • Omg! Good for you! I remember him on TV. AND his voice! Wow! I always thought when I was younger that he really looked unhealthy. Good for you man!! Thats awesome

  • Try intermittent fasting for loose skin works for my patients. Congrats great inspiration love to send my patients here for positive inspiration. Keep up the great work, thank you for your service to humanity. Proof that everyone’s journey is different and habits are possible to break, change, and improve.

  • I wonder if he tried that lap band surgery cause my daughter is doing that and OMG she dropped over 200 Lbs we are so proud of her. And awesome job Ethan keep up the good work.

  • ” I have a mixture of looking in the mirror and seeing a lot of pride and looking in the mirror and feeling overwhelmed on how much more I have to do”. This touches home on so many levels.
When i was 311lbs I wouldn’t even look in the mirror. 4 months and 66lbs later I’m definitely happy with the improvements, but very anxious about what’s left to do.

  • I gave birth to my son at 240 lbs. I was scared the whole pregnancy that I would get up to 300 lbs. But luckily I only gained 20 lbs while pregnant. It has been 11 months and I am now down 32.5 lbs. I have lost about 10+ inches off my body. I feel so much healthier. I still have 57 lbs to lose to be at a healthy weight for my height but I need to for my son. I need to live longer.

  • There story has inspired me. These two sisters had their ups and downs but at the end of the day they have their back each other. And I think that’s what one of reason why it made them succeed! Good luck to both of them

  • How quick did he lost the weight? I can see his skin seems really loose around his arms despite the huge muscle.

Is there a point where you cant fully recover from being that big?

  • Dude I totally relate to this guy so much! I’m down from just shy of 350 to 224 and I’m also trying to preserve as much muscle as possible. The only thing I found surprising is when they were talking about a ketogenic diet, Ethan said he finds that simpler than a diet that includes carbohydrates! For me it’s the other way around. The ONLY thing I didn’t like about keto was the feeling that I had to be constantly concerned with keeping food interesting, but on such a limited grocery list. Now I am tracking macros, eating almost exclusively whole foods, and keeping my carb intake to about 20% of my daily caloric intake. I have found a few meals that I really enjoy and just basically stick to that plan every day. Anyways, for anyone here on the same type of journey I wish you the best! Cheers from Memphis!

  • Good for him, I guess, but I miss all the character. All I see is a meat bag with everything in order. Good from a personal view, unbelievably boring from another.

  • Publix is famous for their subs? I am obsessed with Publix. Love their chicken tenders. Had their sub once. It was average. Never see anyone there getting one. Or rarely.

  • For most people, this would be very motivational and inspiring. For me, it’s a reminder that I’ll never achieve this kind of progress, no matter how hard I try.
    Depression really fucking sucks. –

  • Anyone that says you can’t get muscular as hell or lose a ton of weight is either a liar or a moron. This guy is proof anyone can lose weight.

  • Both my brother and I were very active in cardiovascular sports growing up, and we both played collegiate athletics. The problem is, we always ate like shit in our house growing up, and as soon as we got out of college we started packing on the weight (eventually ballooning to 280). Make sure your kids develop healthy eating habits, folks. Sports don’t last forever.

  • How people can give a thumbs down this video is beyond me. Phenomenal transformation and incredibly inspiring. Keep up the great work dude!

  • I’d maybe put some context on the shot from American history x. I wouldn’t want people to think he actually has those neo-nazi tattoos

  • He is an inspiration to many. And he knows the shit fat people face. I’ve never been a “fatty”, but I guess I’ve come pretty close. But it’s easy for me to symphatise and I try not to give any negative comments about anybodys looks. And if I have something good to say, I try to say it more often.

  • Glad he got healthy. I got up to 360 pounds n damn I felt like hell. I’m down to 300 pounds n still feel like hell. I’m going hard trying to get to under 200pounds. Wish me luck

  • January 2020 I was 37, 385lbs and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes… so far I’ve lost 125lbs and already reversed the Diabetes… I’m still working on my body and I’m glad to see videos like this that show me its possible!!!

  • Your such an inspiration. At 59 y.o my health took a serious dive. Hypothyroidism, hypertension, diabetes, 3 back surgeries, and keto saved my life. I’ve lost 60 lbs since February 13th 2020. I still have 15 to 20 more to go. I am so proud of you for losing essentially 2 humans. Your a Rock Star my handsome friend. Both of you actually. Are Rock Stars!!!

  • I have a lot of respect for Ethan Suplee, I am on a very long road to loosing weight 2 month training now medium weights lots of reps 3 times a week and 20 very deep squats slowly without weights. My weight went out of control due to venous insufficiency I need venaseal treatment for my legs or leg ablation but sadly Canada does not provide these treatments via ohip or Quebec medical card you can get these treatments in Canada but cost way too much money for me., so I am scared of amputation hence I do squats and use revitive circulation booster for my legs. Walking extremely painful and feet and ankles are so swollen now its way too painful to wear compression socks. But squats help and I want to at least be able to stand and walk around the house so squats give me some leg strength. I am trying my best with what I have available to me. I wish Ethan all the best I hope my journey will also be successful.

  • Wauw im new to your channel♥️! And you absolutely motivate✊ me to get going. I just started my own journey and your videos are inspiring✊!! Amazing person you are. I hope I get the confidence to start my own YouTube journey ❤️

  • Por k diablos cuando vas a un nutriologo o variatra no te dan esa opcion pierde grasa y ponte mamado siempre kierwn k pierdas grasa y kedar todo acabado.. gran y motivador cambio

  • Totally understand making foods and watching others eat them lol ❤️ Love this open conversation about the mental states, challenges, addiction triggers, emotional journey of weight loss from obesity. This is the real deal.

  • Thank you for letting Carlos to tell his whole story, it was fascinating! I feel so proud of him for taking control of his life. We can all relate to his story to some degree. All I can say is…..WOW

  • listening to him speak about how was diagnose with diabetes from what seem day to night. It reminds me of what my doctor tells me all the time, you can go from been pre-diabetic to “full” diabetic in the blink of an eye.

  • I am so happy for Ethan. Such an accomplishment. It is hard being a performer and only getting cast for ‘the fat guy.’ Just like so many others who struggled with their weight and are treated awful by the system. He looks much healthier and happier. High Five, dude

  • Its amazing what a super strict, healthy diet, hard core workouts, great genes to begin with, and roids can do! I know about all of this stuff (except maybe great genes). I was “only” a little over 300 lbs with no muscle. But it would have been no different if I were over 500. Congrats to Ethan Suplee though. I’m sure hes feeling like Superman:) And that’s awesome:)

  • the reverse culture shock!! Definitely can relate to that wow I had no idea that was even a thing. Love how open and honest you are here and really appreciate this. you’re incredible Katie!

  • What you were trying to say i think, is “Knowledge isn’t Understanding”. for example, we all KNOW how to ride a bike at a young age, but we don’t understand gyroscopics and balance.

  • Great video. From my experience I agree completely with what hew says and especially about meticulously planning meals out to stay on track.

  • awesome story! glad to see he can now be more active with his daughter. i have 2 kids ages 7 and 9 and they are so full of energy…

  • The ketogenic diet makes your blood go down automatically. Mine was 138. After a week of keto, it went down to 111. Just 7 days.

  • I give up, 4 weeks on 1,100cals per day 6 miles a day exercise climbing and some minor weightlifting and I’m nearly 7lbs heavier.

  • I wish my husband would have his ah ha moment because even though he is 605lbs, 6ft 7in and has sleep apnea he’s “healthy” no blood pressure issues, cholesterol is fine all his labs are great. But he can barely move. I had Gastric Bypass March 2020 and went from 488 to 343lbs today (lost 50lbs on my own before surgery). I had high bp and need neck surgery and have Severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, an unhealthy fat girl. I am trying to encourage him but I feel like no matter how supportive I am he doesn’t care or seem to want to try to lose weight. He’s 39 yrs old now. Maybe I can get him to watch this video with me. Thanks guys for being so open.

  • How sinister just had 2 non skippable ads Flash by one for Rennie liquid with catch line “fall back in love with food” and the other one for uber eats

  • YES! This is so awesome. I’m so glad you are here to inspire all of us. I’m crying! Congratulations, Kim!! I’m down 12 lbs in 2 weeks!

  • I’ve never needed to lose weight, but I haven’t been healthy by any means. I don’t deserve a free pass because I have a difficult time gaining weight but now as a dancer in college I’ve totally changed EVERYTHING. It’s night and day! You and Alan Roberts always motivate me to keep going and I love these stories regardless.

  • My aunt is 50 and weighs 400 lbs, she still doesn’t have any health problems like no high colesterol or high blood sugar. But she’s going to get bypass surgery

  • I cried through this whole thing! I’m so proud of you. I’m one of you biggest fans and hope one day I can get motivated to do what you have done! Congratulations

  • i dont really understand how people become this immobile when they are obease. I am morbidly obease (on my way down rn) dropped like 11kg so far. but at my heaviest at around 145kg i could still play basketball, soccer, volleyball and tennis with no mobility or stamina issues. granted despite my fat I’ve been excessively active my entire life… still tho… how? denial can only go so far, right? I think I should mention I am very young though, im 18.

  • I hope Kevin Smith hires him back and shows him still in the mall staring at that digital painting puzzle, all these years later.

  • Ethan, great effort hun. Have you tried a prolonged fasting lifestyle? Saved my life weight & health. Weight loss happens fast & safe when you know how. Combines keto/carb cycles, we need it all Best wishes what ever you do.

  • Fat acceptance (and also the extreme opposite) needs to be stopped/removed so that more people actually admit to themselves that it isn’t healthy! It’s for their own sake really! Constructive criticism, one could say! But usually, mankind doesn’t want to realize nor change their ways before it’s about to be too late…when reality hits hard, at the brink of destruction!

  • That’s so inspirational! I’m battling the diabetes now. Trying to reverse it before it’s too late and have to take medication. It is tough, for sure. Thanks for sharing your story!

  • At this point I think you could do a superhero or a good powerful villain role. I think it would be one hell of a stride for his ego as well. And his pride. Just to go from his traditional roles to something in Marvel or DC would be amazing for him.

And you know I have found that if you flavor it bison is delicious, much lower in fats and oils. And with the right seasoning makes much better burgers.

  • In his instagram pictures, Alex comes across like he was a powerful young man, even when he was very fat. What’s evident hearing him on this video is that he also has strong character. That makes a big difference. Also, he was very lucky NOT to have had health problems from all the weight.

  • Thanks for sharing your journey. Since I am currently trying to lose weight, this is giving me great motivation. It can be tough sometimes.
Wish you the best in Barcelona….an awesome city

  • I’m 684 pounds and i had almost gave up today. I use a skateboard to get me from one end of the house to the other end where the kitchen is, i roll myself onto the board face down and use my hands on the hallway walls to push off. Today i ate thousands of calories, yesterday was the same. Its a viscous cycle of hunger and binge eating to quell that hunger. Its 5am i just ate a ginormous meal and I’m still starving. I hate my life, i can’t exercise, i can’t see my feet when im standing. I can only stand with people on either side holding my hips. Im a fighter but this fight is too hard.

  • I’ve had times where I left a buffet and walked back to my truck and climbed in and sat there breathing a little hard. The thought crossed my mind a few times, “One of these days I’m going to eat myself to death.”
Fortunately it never happened yet. I just recently started the Carnivore diet and am trying to lose some weight. After about 3 weeks, I’m down about 10#. It’s not great, but it’s a start. I want to drop about 80 more pounds. That will put me at about 240#.

  • Watching these two now fit and handsome men relating to eachother over the challenges of morbid obesity is something all overweight people need to see

  • how often do people tell you that you look like the new spiderman guy….
i’d guess a lot but here goes another:…dude you really look like the spiderman guy

  • 88 thumbs down? Must have been 88 slips of the finger. This guy is amazing, they’re both so genuine and real. I never watch videos this long but I could watch this over n over. You look fantastic! But most of all your personality is Gold

  • I am very saddened by the stories on your channel. Your channel seems to be the weight lose surgery story channel. Unfortunately everyone who loses weight this way has sentenced themself to a life of declining health and early death. Part of their digestion and absorption is removed and cannot be reversed. These people will always suffer from malnourishment until they die early. I feel bad for them. Please research fasting. I know you mean well but these stories are only short time success long term dying early stories

  • You see this video, and see a fat acceptance video, and you see the two opposites of this, this men is a hero and should be treated like one, he found himself, he find the strength that few people have, change is entire life style at 30 is just crazy

  • ive been big most of my life too, but thank god i’ve never been anything past 250 and never will! it amazes me though because based on my lifestyle i should really be about 400lbs atleast lol

  • That was the best video ever…..loved all the clip’s, Loved the dancing the best, You two are good at that…..keep it up…Love Yah…

  • People who are not overweight and sympathize with the body positivity movement, this is the results of obesity! It sucks, is self destructive, and will eventually take your life if you dont do something about it, and for the people that will call me fatphobic, I’m not really obese anymore but I’m still overweight.

  • This story is genuinely amazing and Justin also inspired me to lose weight as well I lost 26 pounds and I’m back to a healthy lifestyle.

  • Now that is inspirational! He looks so much younger and his face is completely different. Talk about a makeover. Congratulations man.

  • I just want to thank you for sharing your story. Your advise is very encouraging! I lost 80 lbs. 5 years ago and I have gained all but 10 lbs back. I don’t want to use my circumstances as an emotional crutch or excuse but I suppose it’s how I chose to manage my stress, emotional hurts and insecurities that put me back where I am physically. Today is the first day of my re-commitment to lose weight for my physical and mental health, so thank you.

  • Hey guys,

Would You Like to Know Exactly What to Eat to Lose Fat and Get Healthy Without Giving Up Your Favorite Foods or Starving Yourself?

I have the secret for you Email me: [email protected] gmail.com.

  • Las veo desde Colombia y me robaron el corazón, su HERMANDAD es hermosa y ejemplar para el mundo, Dios las bendiga siempre, paz y bien

  • I have always liked Ethan’s acting and characters, particularly Randy. He seemed like outside of acting he would be a cool person to be best friends with. I thought it would be a loss to the world if he passed due to obesity and the first time I saw a video of his change was cool to see. Being muscular fits him.

  • I was 213lbs with 26% body fat, and was barely into the “obese” range in terms of body fat. That word “obese” is what motivated me to make a change. Still not where I want to be, but I’m down to 191lbs with 17% body fat. It’s only 22lbs but I can feel the difference. I have more energy and self confidence. It’s hard work but it’s worth every drop of sweat.

  • honestly so proud of her for taking the initiative to help herself and her family! i’ll be praying for your fertility, sweet girl

  • Wow I’m proud u!!!! I think u will b a great!! Ur husband will be a great Dad too!!!! Don’t worry b happy. O have fun making that baby!!

  • I know we can sit behind our computers and crack jokes but that is an amazing accomplishment. I bet she makes a wonderful mother and a great wife. I wish to God that I had the willpower she does

  • shes so sweet! I really hope she keeps the weight off and she can have her baby and love that lil babe so much! <3 good luck Amy!!!

  • This was BEAUTIFUL. I cried at her reveal and as someone who recently got this surgery, and losing weight, this is a really, really encouraging. I am SO PROUD OF HER. KEEP GOING GIRL!
