  • Maybe this video, besides “Fix yourself before fix the others” is the only video that successfully unite the Rightists, Centrists, and Leftists together!
For this time, I agreed with Mr.Prager
Yes, I am still The Asian Boy, no matter how cool the others, I am still proud with my self, because I am have something that the others don’t

  • One of the best motivational videos I’ve ever watched, so positive and brutally honest. Due to social media, my generation has been affected by this filter of trying to be someone you’re not. Without a doubt this creates anxiety, loneliness and a mindset that you’re not good enough. Why waste time thinking like that?!

I love the quote: “Be the best version of yourself.”

    Keep up the good work!

  • Comparing ourselves to others… That the first lie we’ve been taught in our lives and our families.

That’s how we feed failure… Wished I knew this before.

  • There is some good advice in here, but I think it is safe to say this seems like the 1%’s way of telling the shrinking middle class, “Don’t observe how we are living larger and indulging in ever more opulent wealth than ever before by exploiting you, just be happy with what you have and let us keep taking from you so we can feed our limitless apatite for more luxury, influence and power!”

  • No song give me happyness but your motivational video give me inside power of motivation thanks a lots Team Fearless and God blessed you a lot

  • Man I’m in tears right now, this video hit a little way too close to home. About a year ago I was in a toxic relationship, which just made me feel like I would never be good enough for anyone. It hurts even more Bc a lot of my friends are engaged and/or have been with their partner for a long time.
I also hate my job, nobody even wants me there. The only reason why they haven’t kicked me out is Bc I’m hardworking and I’m one of the very few people who put in OT. The only thing that keeps me going are my family and the motivation from Team Fearless.

  • This really helped me.. I’m a smaller youtuber that really wants to succeed in this YouTube world and seeing others get thousands of views and subscribers kind of puts me down and makes me think what I’m doing wrong.. everyone has a different path in life and I have to remember that… thanks for this.

  • Have been listening to this everyday for 2 months! On days where i have zero motivation (especially in lockdown), I whack this is on and get so fired up!! Soooo many good bangers, thank you so much for keeping me fit, active and sane!!!

  • im feel super burnout after do so much work and try to compare myself to other and i open youtube then watching this video feeling everything become normal ^_^

  • I was upset yesterday, because I realised I hadn’t been showing seriousness,I realised I’m messy, disorganised and am working on my act. I also, think I’ve blown it with the lady I love. I was sad. But then,I realised how far I’ve come! How far ill go! Thanks Team Fearless!

  • what has become to the mindset of the people of today??. i got a whole lot of good marks in my tenth exam but the people around me startedd comparing me with toppers…. whats going on.. if they are toppers today then i am tomorrow… here i go…

  • Team fearless when i feel my life a bit tough i listen to your words and it feels so good that somebody is encouraging me to do something and yes i can be a successful person I believe thanks to you all

  • This video came at the right time. I often find myself feeling down and depressed because I don’t measure up to how smart or successful some other person is. This video really helped me realize that instead of envying certain parts of people’s lives that are better than mine, I should feel grateful for the things I have in my life.

  • I’ve always been hearing the saying “Don’t compare yourself with others”. When I actually realized it, it changed my life. Because once you actually do it (For yourself) you free yourself from a huge burden. You start to see yourself instead of others. Understands that you, just like anyone else are not perfect, but it is ok. You start to see the good sides of yourself, love, respect, and value yourself. Self-improvement becomes a wonderful journey of life, not a huge burden and misery. You chose your own paths that you trust and suit you not the paths that others have taken. It is a tremendous relief when you don’t think all the time about (is this good enough compared to others, is it the best or there is better) but actually value and live the moment peacefully and take the chance to improve when it comes.

You shouldn’t compare yourself with other people, first because you aren’t them, second because you don’t know how they have to go through blood, sweat, and tears just to get to their dream destination. We have our own different paths of becoming successful in life. So stop comparing yourself. And instead learn to love and accept yourself. Because if you learn to love yourself it is as if you accept yourself fully despite having flaws remember that nobody in this world is perfect. • Jordan Peterson has it completely right, comparing ourselves to others is problematic, as when all is considered, we’re all quite different from one another

  • Comparing to others is just like pushing yourself back from the success which you can obtain easily but due only comparison habit the people scared from that person’s whom they are comparing and started to waste the time in thinking about that particular person life and which hurt you most and as the result that you forgeted about the goal which you are decided to complete

One thing I must say that think that you are unique and in this world no one like you

  • I’m a guitarist and have been so for 40+ years. I was a stage performer for 30+ of those years. My main influences to pick up the guitar were Tom Scholz (Boston), Ace Frehley (KISS), and Eddie Van Halen. I saw what they did and I said: “I want to do that, too! I want to be up there wowing people with my guitar playing.” So, emulating your idols isn’t always a bad thing. Influence and inspiration are the spark that ignites creativity.

  • What we want is other people wanting to be us. When you look at someone that you want to be like, really what you want is someone else to be looking at you the way you look at who you want to be like.

  • His explanation sheds more light but the blanket statement “don’t compare yourself to others” is ridiculously stupid advice. It might more rightly be said “don’t judge your self worth as a person through comparing yourself to others.” If 2 farmers are on essentially the same land and one is doing far worse than the other, then of course the one should compare what he is doing to the other. His skills, work schedule, intensity, use of fertilizers and such should all be compared against what is working more productively for someone else. On a more personal note, years ago I reconnected with an old Marine Corps buddy that had done much better for himself than I. Comparing myself to him is what motivated me to realize I should and could be doing better. Without too much useless detail, I was motivated through this comparison to do more and in 15 years went from a relatively nothing 40k per year to 225k + per year. I am convinced that if it were not for the “comparing” I would still be stuck struggling to eek out a meager existence.

  • The first speaker dunno who he is, i find what he said absolutly correct. Some time now i come to realize the fact that we are the first generation in humanity that we have this kind of networks and technology google, youtube, facebook and either we realized it from the begining or not. it was some kind lets say fucking challenge to.have these in our lives the previous generations did not have and the truth: it got.fucked up.

It may sound too conservative or sth but life for us without these thinga would be more beautiful because it would be more simple and the possibilities of forming unrealistic(= anxious and painful with no benefit) views and perspectives, excpectations etc would be really lower. Ofcourse people always could form unrealistic excpectations its not just facebook or google.or utube but these things..just “helped” for the things to fucking skyrocket!!it was just soo much fucking easier for us to form unrealistic excpectations.it s like a norm nowdays.and there can be some kind of misconception about i believe. Inside we might got to believe in some point that it was kinda good for us to have unrealistic views and excpectations that “it would make us better and stretch us” or “make us achive more” or maybe even make us feel we are worth more because of them.
The bigger number of anxiety and depression of our days is Not a fucking mystery.

Everything is a lot fucking simpler those who come out “alive” will know and i hope we can look back with a little smile joking about the bullshit we left behind.

  • Very comforting video. Very helpful and brings peace to a heart that is plagued by “why are “they” having such a great life and I’m not?”. Thank you for such a wonderfully inspirational video.

  • Never had trouble with any of this. Sure, there are people i admire. But i never had the urge to be like other people or the people i admired. • LET ME DEBUNK THIS VIDEO IN THIS COMMENT!

Today, we live in a competitive society where we are constantly being compared to someone else. Our boss at work will compare us to our fellow employees. If my co-worker performs better than me, of course he deserves the promotion/pay raise more than me. If I perform worse than my other co-workers then I would be higher up on the termination or lay off list. Our teachers at school compare us to our fellow students. If my classmate scored higher on an exam than I did, they would obviously be more likely to receive the scholarship than I am. If I score less on the exam then I would be more likely to be put on academic probation. Even for relationships, our boyfriends/girlfriends/relationship partners are only with us because they feel that we are the best one for them. Same thing can be said in reverse. If you did not believe that your current boyfriend or girlfriend is the best guy/girl for you, why are you dating them? Why waste your time with them rather than go look for someone better? Thus given how we are being compared against other people at work, school, and even home, how could not comparing yourself to others be a solution for success? Isn’t what this video is asking for a bit hypocritical?

  • The apostle Paul would seem to agree:

“For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” 2 Corinthians 10:12

  • What PragU tries to sell you: “dont compare yourself to other people so you can be happy and life peacefully”

  • There are also toxic and dumb parents who compare you to another (whether it is another family member or not). Don’t listen to dumbasses parents like that. If you are a parent like that, I highly suggest you quit and work on yourself, try to absorb self improvement knowledge, or just leave your kids some space, they’ll sure be at peace when your toxicity will get out

  • To be honest my eyes just opened on how toxic is society because people compre and as for me I compare myself before but now I learned it doesnt matter what they acheived if you want to set your goals just for your own and I beggan to love myself and I have seen my true potential and I am very grateful even at my worst

  • Look up the seven deadly sins and “envy” is one of them.

There will always be someone out there that’s better than you. While it is important to always strive for success and make yourself better and not settle for mediocrity, looking over the fence to see how much your neighbor has that you don’t can only bring misery.

  • Thank you Tom. I oftentimes forgot to be grateful for having what I have. Because I’ve been looking to someone richer, or looking like they are happier in social media.

  • I had no idea i was even comparing myself with others before i watched this. I just kept thinking how wrong it is for millionaires and billionaires and all manner of ultra successful people to exist alongside people fighting every month to pay the bills. Or people with lots of other huge problems. Now i realize my mind was actually playing tricks on me and i was in fact comparing myself negatively to all the ultra wealthy. Not just that, i was comparing lots of people to other people and kept feeling sad about how some people got such a shitty deal while others’ life was basically a lotto ticket. I couldnt accept it. Now i need to go think about why i fell for this trap instead of focusing only on my own goals and improvements. And why i ever believed the ultra wealthy didnt have their owm crap to deal with that i would gladly avoid at all costs. Thanks for the video. It’s honest and thought provoking.

  • Question: What if I need to compare myself to others because they feel happier if I do and they say that I need advice but I say I can take it from here

After watching this video I learned that I need to make room for myself and who am I truly

  • We get caught up in the belief that success is a one time event. but it’s not. it’s a process. a process of waking up 1% better everyday. in one years time we can be 365% better than we are today. all of our new years goal should be to get 1% better every single day

  • “Everyone’s life is hard”
That should enable people to challenge themselves, but most rich kids just fall into edonistic and egoistic pursuit of pleasure and fame, not making any real progress for humanity and actually hurting people around them, while making other miserable people ruin their lives with their products, made for profit rather than artistic or philosophical intent.

    … yeah, not really

  • Let’s be real; the 79 people that voted thumbs down obviously had no idea what they were about to watch, because this video is exactly what the rest of us that watched the video wanted to see.

  • As You Age You Careless When We’re 60 We Won’t Be Thinking This Way Trying To Compete Against Eachother We Get Nothing Out Of It It’s Sad Mind Aswell Start Training your mind now

  • Don’t compare yourself to others because you never know who is looking at your life wishing they had yours. So be grateful for what you have & stop focusing on what you don’t have.

  • Sometimes it is difficult not comparing yourself to others.. especially when that someone you are comparing yourself to is doing better in life and he is your own age or younger. That is when it hits you, when you realize the other guy had the same amount of time and resources to reach his dreams as you and yet your are years behind him in reaching similar achievements. Of course the other guy may have his own struggles but in the end reaching dreams in life is what makes a person happy and at peace.

I sincerely know that this thinking is wrong and toxic and I’m doing everything to change it but I am just expressing my feelings….

  • Okay, so prager U endorses capitalism but then makes this video, wow, I’m just laughing at you all who actually listen to these people.

  • Here’s a joke for you: What do you get, when you cross a mentally ill loner with a society that abandoned him And treats him like trash?

  • I really believe in that but i can’t really followed it in real life. Unfortunately u all the time under pressure to have a good grade to be in a good shape have enough money all these stuffs create a negative feeling in your mind and even social media puts you in a comparison with others without you even realize that what i am in right now i don’t know me and i can’t set a goal to me. I really need help.

  • Thanks, I searched to get to the vid “insults to yourself” cuz I was mad at myself and thought I deserved to be insulted but then I saw this and it kinda helped, I cant thank u enough.

  • 1. Be yourself.
    2. Learn from everyone, but follow your heart.
    3. Make mistakes, learn from it and outgrow it.
    4. Stop trying to control things that’re outside your control.
    5. Help others, but expect nothing in return.
    6. Have some core values, and stick to those no matter what.
    7. Be flexible, but be honest to yourself.
    8. Don’t let technology control you.
    9. Face problems with a brave face.
    10. There’s greatness in failing; learn from it.

  • In my school, we made a drawing contest for a water-theme present wall-paper. I was ambitious, I dreamed my drawing, a quadrille with water from all sources, will be on it. Then, here come the vote, I came second, Marie first.
My anger over her grow up to disproportionate level. I hated the girl, the daughter of the teacher from the same building.
This event taught me jealousy, destructive jealousy. It’s hard to rid off that toxic mind-set, it happened when I was young! Thus, I am jealous on pretty much everything, even on field I didn’t experience. And what worst? Everything that happened to them should have happened earlier! This pisses me off! I never been fed up for so long. Come on, how about a convention or a trophy? I don’t care if they both failed. Just gives a sense of equality!
Now, my life turns around superiority-inferiority complex.

  • I realized that I was sick. Almost eryday comparing myself to ones that I admire. I start to give my effort to became free when i looked inside me and figured out that in that Battlefield the unique enemy to face was myself. Then, everyday I’ve been trying to do things that I gave up cause I thought I wasn’t good enough. Keep going, you are capable to do whatever you want with dedication, faith and persistence.

  • Ever wonder why you compare yourself to others?? It goes back to caveman days, survival of the fitness!! In order to survive you need to be the best. What sets the bar for “the best?” Other people!! In order to be the best, we need to have what “other people” have and more. This is why we compare our selves to others even though it hurts us mentally, because we are trying to survive. We are a surviving machine, our brain does what it needs to survive without us really realizing it! This is why we breathe without really realizing it.
We need to start being cautious of whats really going on when we are comparing ourselves if we want to stop, and start living a happier life

  • It’s funny how everytime I want to do something and start doing it. I look at the people who have what I want and I lose interest in doing what ever it is. I just can’t be what they are. So I embrace failure and live with it.

  • i fucks with you GYM LEGION but these faces are getting old there has to be more people in the fitness world than these same people thumbs up.
