  • FINALLY: not a budget wedding.
Gimme a FN break ok? some of us marry rich dudes and we want a DREAM wedding, not a cheap diy one if ur broke then dont get married and certainly dont have kids.

  • From the now husband seat watching your journey as you prepared for our big day, it was nothing short of amazing! So blessed to have an amazing wife like you!

  • Oh man! This made me miss you and our wedding chats!! Hopefully we see each other before both of our weddings otherwise we will have a plan ride I’m sure to catch up after.

  • This is amazing! I can’t wait for all your videos as I plan my wedding! If your company could come to Nova Scotia I would definitely be hiring you your style (and love for Harry Potter and wine) is perfect!

  • I love the wedding dress tip! I made that mistake (yikes) and did not include alterations, the jewelry I want with it, the veil, etc. Thank you for this video, it’s awesome!

  • OMG ‘you’re the only one that can make it stressful.. so chill out..’ SO TRUE!!! Such a helpful thing to say! I think lots of people get stressed about things to do with wedding planning but a gentle reminder that stress really isn’t necessary is actually such a relief to hear! Thanks!

  • I don’t think these things she said are “good hacks” for everyone to know since a wedding planner can also say the same to you.:)

  • Personal opinion, I strongly dislike videos that take forever to get started because of self-promotion of other videos, other activities, and other social media. I didn’t even watch the video because I got tired before you even get started.

  • Your video inspired me to do my own wedding series! If you fancy a checking out my first of many in my series see below ❤️

  • I recently had a wedding that I will remember for a lifetime!!!

In organizing the wedding, the Amazon.com site helped me a lot. I found all the necessary information here: https://amzn.to/3e8cEbu

  • How did you approach looking for a wedding planner? I know Jamie said she approached you but did you research wedding planners beforehand?

  • Im planning on using potted plants as wedding favors, that way people can take a couple with them and you dont end up killing flowers, but i absolutely hate weddings cuz of so many flowers being killed for just one day (i know, stupid, cause we shower these days) so use succulents or plants to save the planet and replant them or re-use them whenever you can!

  • We’ve been engaged for 1 1/2 years and only my family knows. Some big life situations put it on hold 3 times. We finally did our engagement shoot and that’s how we will announce to everyone else. I get the photos back next week!

  • Love that you have your wedding dress in the back I’ve been waiting so long for you to start a YouTube channel, so excited to see what content you bring us! And prefect timing bc I’m engaged

  • Thanks for the video, it was very reassuring! I proposed to my boyfriend in July, and we’re getting married in April. We’re doing a bit of a loose fantasy/LOTR/Hobbit event in this beautiful wood and stone lodge in the mountains in Colorado. Best part about the venue is that it’s beautiful and great, and since it’s owned by the city, it’s pretty inexpensive.
We don’t have lots of money, but I’m really crafty so DIY is going to be what saves us!

  • This should be titled: “how to throw an expensive wedding”. Girl people want HACKS. Hacks being diy’s, things that maybe aren’t necessary that many people think are. This was a waste of a video.

  • Just realised I can’t afford a youtuber wedding so why am I watching advice from youtubers. I will say though I watched your first part about venue, I disagree I think your very first step is your budget.

  • Anybody know around how much it costs to only have a wedding planner for a month? I remember my friend paid a ton of money for her event planner for her sweet 16

  • All the Venues I’m looking at for my wedding have a wedding coordinator so I’m not really worrying about that and with planning me and my sister she’s my maid of honor are planning everything together so it keeps a lot of the stress off of me and plus I’m really excited about it so all I wanna do is focus on the wedding but I don’t wanna get to stressed so every other month we focus on certain parts of the wedding and now it’s almost planned and the wedding day is a few months away

  • My cousin is soppused to get married In October but his sister witch is my cousin said that it’s his mom birthday and she just drives him crazy and talk bad about his wife and now I have to be his flower girl and help him plan cause if I don’t start now he won’t wanna have a wedding

  • Getting married in 2022 a while a way but we’ve booked our venue already! Now we can just chill a little before start properly organising

  • “If you can afford it…” no, no I cannot afford all these options. It changes completely your wedding planning process when you are tight on your budget. This video has some great ideas nonetheless but does not exactly cater for a budget bride.

  • I think it is nice that the bride an d groom put their stamp on THEIR special day. No matter what rules exist it is the b and g day. I mean black balloons outdoors in a garden setting usually dont look great and honestly are a bit harsh but it is what Sharrah wants Not sure what makes this lady a specialists in wedding other than she is sharing her wedding experience and she has some decor background though I don’t know if she is formally trained or through her mother. Regardless I am glad she had a happy day. I do wonder about costs though.

  • About the music, I went to wedding and the music/sound system something went wrong and the bride had to walk down the aisle without music. It was the saddest thing. It was so wierd because it was at a church where they always use the sound system. So wierd and also so heartbreaking.

  • Amazing wedding! But what is more amazing are the souls of these Two. So blessed to have watched your story and your love for Jesus is what makes you extraordinary. All the best!

  • Hey…A thumbs up from me!!! What an awesome video. Highly recommended to watch. You have covered a lot that I did not even think or know about. Thank You

  • We’re not using a florist or a catering service,my moms making a buffet style food so we can set it up and the leave it so she can still enjoy the day. A big part of our budget is our photographer and videographer and our venue, we are using a coordinator (and her staff) so our families and us don’t have to worry about set up and take down so we can enjoy the day. I just can’t justify spending so much money on thing we can easily do.

  • Thanks for this video Lauren, even though I’m still young I’ll remember these tips for when I’m getting married one day (hopefully lol) would it be too far for you and Josh to do a video on saving yourself for marriage and what you expect on the wedding night? Completely understand if you don’t wish to talk about those things

  • This was so honest and amazing! Thank you for the inspirational pictures and I am so happy to hear you were able to do it. I had my first fitting for my dress and it was a little snug and I felt sooo discouraged. I am also a curvy girl (usually a size 10, my dress was a 12) and because of covid-19, my second alterations fitting is in August! That means that I only have one more fitting before my big day in September. I want to lose about 15-20 lbs by then so my seamstress can properly fit my dress and I can feel great on my wedding day. Thanks for the tips! You give me the motivation I need and you looked stunning ❤️

  • This video isn’t really an expensive type of video. You have to take the ideas and apply them how you can. You know your budget better than anyone so why not just take the ideas and make them less expensive?! But overall great video!

  • Congratulations! I am getting married in October and your video really opened my eyes to some things that I didn’t think about.

    I found this blog: https://key-transportation.com/wedding-transportation-matters/
The great thing about wedding hire car companies is that they not only ensure that the engine and exterior is well maintained and immaculate, but that the interior is perfect as well. A clean interior is especially important for your wedding day as a mark on the car seat may transfer onto you dress!

  • I am not engaged (hopefully next year!) but this is really helpful! Going to favorite this video for the future ❤️ Happy wedding planning

  • I’m only in highschool and don’t plan on getting married until after college, but I absolutely love weddings. I never realized how much planning goes into a wedding until my older brother got engaged recently

  • Yayyy! We’re getting married in November. We’ve been engaged for 3 years. Definitely entering the contest. Btw I so love your make up on this video. Would love to see a tutorial if you’re planning to make one. <3

  • Never seen your channel before, but this video is so well made and helpful! And it looks like all your videos are so high quality! You deserve so many more subscribers girl! Good luck!!:) thanks for the great tips!

  • Claire, this may sound cheesy, but could you do a video on how you and your fiance met and how you knew he was the one?? I love a good lobe story

  • Hello, I am a senior studying Advertising and Public Relations at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am studying the effects that media has on wedding planning. If you are a bride or have been a bride in the past year, please take about 5 minutes to fill out the survey. Thank you!! https://rit.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d5Pug9v4t5MS9HD

  • It’s kind of hard to hear you in the last few videos. You give great advice and the lighting is nice. Yes, a budget is not a bad word. It helps you to feel more in control through the whole process. Trial before hand for hair and make-up is a must…practice taking pictures in lighting like your wedding then you can judge if there needs to be changes.

  • Hello Claire I love all your videos especially this informative video about wedding planning, my wedding is just 7 months away on 15 September 2018 Saturday ☺️

  • The twinkling noise in your video kept making me think that the ice cream truck was coming down my road but alas, it was not. It took me a while and a lot of strategic pausing to figure that out…

  • A great tip that I recently found out through my florist is seeing if they can use some of the church or ceremony flowers as part of the floral decor for you reception area! For example, we are having the pew end flowers become the flowers for each side of the guest book table and the candles will be throughout the reception area!

  • Amazing advice as always, Claire! One of our favorite tips is to decide what’s most important on you wedding day so you can budget accordingly. We also loved your tip about not comparing your wedding with others. Everyone is different and that’s okay!

  • Hey there if you somehow happen to come across this comment in the sea of comments here I would really appreciate it if you would come to look at the gofundme page I started to raise funds to pay off the last bit of our wedding. Any little bit helps. Thank you guys so much.

  • Yay, a wedding video! <3

And I’m in a relationship for almost 7 years and my boyfriend kinda started talk quite a lot about wedding and live together so I think it is about to happen for me too… can’t wait.

If you have a destination wedding, lots of out of town guests, or a large wedding party, you may want to consider hiring a wedding, or party bus.

  • Men, if you’re still getting married after watching women destroy us mentally and financially all your life, as they kidnap the children, then you deserve what you get! #MGTOW

  • We got engaged last September, and we’re getting married on the lawn of a lovely event venue/warehouse thing here in interior Alaska. Reception on site. Our friend is officiating, my future father in law will film with his drone, and I just ordered my dream dress off Poshmark for $35! And yes, I will be married in dark green! we’re picking out rings now! Our date is in June 2020.:)

  • silent disco? oh come on…..that sounds desperate. you would have to take out your headphones to talk with people which would ruin the atmosphere because you realise the dead silence around u. mmm bye

  • Your tips aren’t the same repeated tips that all the other wedding vloggers have said over an over again. Thank you for being original and helpful!

  • While you shouldn’t book your vendors too soon, you shouldn’t wait too long to book them either. By booking them sooner you get more choice in who you want. Also, you’ll likely get the best price, especially if the vendors you want are in high demand. Being self-employed means you can change your prices whenever you’d like. One of my best friends booked their wedding photographer 1 year out. In that year his photographer raised their prices by $700. Source: 7 years as a wedding photographer.

  • You hit the most important points. I enjoyed this video. Thank you.

I just got engaged to my fiancé on April 20th. The date marks our 5 year anniversary and we plan on getting married the same date next year, 2018. Luckily it falls on a Friday. Seems like it was meant to be. We found a nice hall to have the wedding. We’re planning on have the ceremony and reception in one place. Our budget is very small compared to the “average” but we have friends helping out with the major expenses. Catering, photography and DJ. I’m really excited and overwhelmed with joy every day I wake up!

  • Love this:) I am getting married next september and there is so so much to think about:) I was totally with you and had a pinterest wedding board way before I got engaged lol!! xxx

  • Thanks so much! I’m getting married this year in July:D soo excited! The more wedding videos the better ;D good luck with all your planning! xx

  • Im getting married august 2019, i am ecstatic about the whole event. My fiance is an audio engineer and we had the choice of doing a live band or DJ. Even though we really REALLY wanted a band we went with a DJ. My family is hispanic and his is american/middle eastern. For my family we really need salsa/bachata,regge music and the majority of the bands we know in SC only do english. But hey its not super bad since we’ll have a set up done fit for any music festival haha

  • Hope you enjoy this guys, you’ve been asking for wedding content and I have wanted to film this for a while! Let me know if you want more wedding content:) xxx

  • I was reluctant at first about finding the truth about my cheating wife but I’m glad I finally took the courage for it and now I believe the saying that “The Truth Will Set You Free” cos I feel better and free now after knowing the truth. I got help from Cyberhackinggenius as he helped cloned my cheating wife’s phone and I got access to all her phone messages both deleted texts and social media chats without touching her phone. I’m glad to uncover her lies, secrets and Infidelity. All I did was share my wife’s phone number with Cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read her recent and deleted messages from my phone through a programmed link shared to me without touching her phone and she has no idea her phone has been cloned. I discovered that my wife has been in a long term affair outside our marriage and it was very painful finding out I’m not the biological father of our last child. I’m finalizing my divorce with so many proofs and she is still in a complete shock about my findings. You can contact this great Hacker Gavin via Gmail (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp: +19256795146.

  • All of this is great advice! Loved seeing Jamie on your channel! Definitely prioritizing the things that are most important should be one of the first steps. Contact your top vendors for their pricing as you’re building your budget.

  • Amazing and insightful video! We also provide tips and tricks for wedding planning on our channel. Feel free to check it out sometime!

  • Nice. Nerves are getting to me now. Lol I’m leaving this to my mom and dad to help me organize this. And his parents. Too overwhelming.

  • This Video reminded me of my brother-in-law’s late father. He waited until AFTER the wedding to buy a wedding gift… His father literally bought EVERYTHING left on the wedding registry!!!! ♥️

    I found this blog: https://key-transportation.com/wedding-transportation-matters/
If your ceremony and reception venues are only a short distance away from each other, you’re in the clear. But there’s a cutoff—if they’re more than 30 minutes apart, you should definitely consider providing transportation for all wedding guests.

  • I’m getting married oct 26th 2019, and I just started seriously planning last month. I’m freaking out. I’m a procrastinator and I have no ones help besides my mom who works 6-7 days a week and my moh live in utah

  • Funny you just started YouTube! I just got engaged yesterday! ((: welcome to YouTube, and thanks for this video!!! Can’t wait to see more!

  • I’ll be getting engaged soon so, Thank you! I didn’t even think about having that convo with my contributors yikes that isn’t going to be any fun. Any advice about having that conversation without it being awkward/rude?

  • I am not yet engaged but I know it’ll be coming sometime and I like to be over prepared for things I think this is a wonderful idea!!! I’m not sure how other people feel but I saw your insta story about the length of videos and I just want to say I am all about videos that are longer. I think this topic is SO interesting and helpful, so I’d definitely say longer videos would be great! If people are looking for this content they’ll stay longer than 2-3 minutes to watch, for sure! Either way, thank you for taking time to provide us with your expertise. ❤️

  • Loooove this! I’m a new planner and this type of channel is sooooo helpful. So far the only planner on youtube really is Jamie Wolfer, but it’s good to get other planner’s expertise too.

  • I love this! I’m already married but wish I would’ve had something like this at the time of planning my wedding. Also would’ve loved to have you as my wedding planner Lisa! You’re amazing at what you do ❤️
