In this video, we’re going to cover 4 proven ways to get motivated to lose weight. Because let’s be honest, gathering the information on the proper diet, workout routines, and supplementation is way easier than finding the drive within us to stay on track with them over the long haul.. And if you’re a guy out there struggling to maintain that rock-solid drive towards your weight loss goal, here are 4 motivational strategies that have helped over 10,000 guys lose over 75,000 pounds of fat.. Tip #1: Ask Yourself ‘Why?’ (1:19). The first thing to ask yourself, is “Why do you want to lose weight?” The answer to this is simply the start. I want you to play the 5-why game, and ask yourself “why?” in response to your previous answer, 5 times. This will help you to discover your deep reasons behind your motivation to lose weight.. Tip #2: Figure Out What Your DOMINO Habits Are (3:13). Your domino habits are your 1-2 key habits that, when you get them in place, allow everything else in your weight loss routine to work better. Identifying your domino habits will be one of the best ways to get motivated to work out and lose weight. In many cases, we see that good nutrition and good sleep habits are the dominos that help the most.. Tip #3: Create Daily Mile-Markers To Track Against (4:53). Motivation to lose weight for men often comes from chasing a specific goal. If you set your goal way in the future, for example, to lose 100 lbs, you can easily slip off track before you reach it. If you set yourself daily action markers that you can achieve, you’ll be much happier with your progress and success. These daily markers could be drinking 2 liters of water or getting 30-minutes of exercise.. Tip #4: Set Yourself A New 30-Day Challenge (6:00). Re-evaluate your current position and then set yourself a new 30-day challenge. It may be that this will help you discover how to get motivated to go to the gym 3 days per week for the next 30-days. Maybe it’ll be a challenge to run 1-mile within 30-days, or maybe it’s simply to drink 2 liters of water every day for 30-days. Just challenge yourself to keep motivated.. It’s dark when you come home from work in the evening. Suddenly working out during daylight hours is no longer an option. This is the time of year when it’s easy to skip a workout and sleep in longer, or find a million excuses to not head outside or to the gym before dinner. But you know you’ll feel better once you get going.
These 8. As much as I love fall, I don’t love the darkness that comes with it.It’s already getting darker earlier each night, and it’s staying dark even when I wake up in the morning. I am not a fan of that! It’s hard enough to be a morning person and wake up to work out, but when the moon is still out when your alarm goes off, forget about it! Then again, if you hit snooze and wait to work out.
All of the motivation tricks in the world won’t get you to the gym season after season if you haven’t figured out your deep-down reason for being active, says Perkins. “You have to be 100-percent connected to your ‘why,'” she says. I have eight tricks that help me feel more excited to work out and re-kindle my love for the gym after I have fallen into a rut or just don’t feel like getting off Instagram to go sweat. 8 Tips to Motivate Yourself 1. Don’t think about it. One of the worst feelings is waking up at 6 am to get ready to work out, especially during the winter.
If you want to feel healthy all year long, a high level of motivation is necessary. Not only will it help you get the most out of your workouts once you’re at the gym, but it’s what gets you there in the first place week after week. During the fall and winter months, however, motivation. 6 Tips To Get Motivated To Work Out This Year Getting motivated and back in the swing of things after a holiday full of over-indulgence can be hard. I always need either a kick in the butt or finding that my pants are too tight to force me back into the gym or yoga studio.
Learn to accept your flaws. Acceptance is the first step that leads to motivation. And once you accept that you’re not happy with the way you look in the mirror, it’s time to get motivated! [Read: Tips to love yourself more] 25 tips to get motivated to work out.
Yes, working out is hard. In fact, it can feel like a gargantuan task to begin. Positive and negative motivation Motivation is what drives you towards a goal, gets you up in the morning, and keeps you working through a task, determined to succeed when things get tough. But motivation can be both positive and negative: Positive motivations focus on the positive things that will happen when you take action. For example.
Working out is hard as hell—even before you hit the gym. Sometimes the best intentions, like setting an early alarm or packing sneakers in your work bag, won’t be enough to get you psyched about. 29 Smart Ways to Motivate Yourself to Work Out Prove your haters wrong, hoard your medals, and stop washing your hair. (Plus 26 other awesome tips to get off the couch and go.).
List of related literature:
If you exercise in a gym in the morning, don’t choose the darkest corner of the room.
I made a couple of small changes to my routine at night, but the one I have come to appreciate the most sounds like the most minor thing: changing gyms.
Early morning workouts in a gym—or a spirited walk or jog around the neighborhood for twenty, thirty, or forty minutes as the sun comes up—give you clarity of mind, greater focus on tasks, more energy, and quite frankly, more happiness.
On every reminder note, reinforce your “want to do” reasons: “I work out after I brush my teeth to improve my flexibility,” or “I work out while the coffee brews so I can have more energy and think more clearly all day.”
I tried to motivate myself into working out again by going to bed at nine o’clock and setting my alarm for six with every intention of going jogging around my neighborhood.
For example, if exercising is important to you, and you wake up each day full of vim and vigor but come home late at night tired and sapped of strength, assign your workout a home first thing in the morning when you’re motivated, at your best, and more inclined to follow through and sustain it.
In other words, when our aspiring athlete sees the sun when she wakes up, she’ll think “I’ll walk to work”—right away, without effort, and without having to decide again what she should do on sunny mornings to achieve her goal of exercising more.
Now, if striking a superhero pose before your next job interview or at the starting line of your next triathlon just isn’t going to happen, try something more natural and palatable: smiling or taking a brisk walk before an important meeting, using positive imagery, or doing ten burpees before a race.
Firstly i plan the whole week workout routine and then everynight before going to the bed I watch your video (@Bailey brown) according to my nextday workout nd do it to the next morning..nd I always look my body nd remind myself how it toned after doing your workouts….❣️

Guys. lost a lot of weight does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I will give you some advice now. Look for a popular lose weight diet plan called Custokebon Secrets (do a google search). Thanks to it I have lost a lot of fat. I probably should not even be speaking about it cause I don’t want lots of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I am just simply in a great mood today and so I’ll share the wealth lol.
Ok but literally I needed to hear every word you said in this video! I haven’t been motivated for the past three weeks going on four. I’ve just been struggling & my body has been feeling the absolute worst. These tips are great Although it’s been a little hard lately, the best way I get myself to feel motivated is to remind myself that my body feels great when I workout & it helps me not feel sluggish. Knowing I am capable of anything I put my mind to & that it’s just a matter of getting it done & being consistent will get me the results I want!
I am always inspired to make great music… I stored all my music on a computer that crashed and websites that no longer have access to my links… unfortunately I lost tons of data and I will be starting from scratch very soon… I am going to give it my all to create new music this year but it is going to take some time and some money… I have produced over 1000 tracks in my life time but I have only about 75 songs saved… I have a lot of work to do and this dream of becoming a music producer will always stay alive for me.
My motivation changes from time to time. But right now I am getting ready for my vacation and it helps me stay motivated. Just realized I posted under my husband’s YouTube account lol
Rachel, no hate at all but I did go back to your videos from only 2 months ago and your face and body seemed so much slimmer! I don’t know if its the excessive makeup, short hair, tan, or tight clothing in this video but there is a big difference. Did you start eating carbs again? Again not trying to troll simply wondering if you did completely go off keto or if it is your pcos
There are so many shallow people in these comments. Why are people so judgmental about things that don’t really matter? How about you all listen to the information?
Yoga burn simply works. In the worry free place like your home the sky is the limit to what amount weight i am confident you will lose. Follow along at the pace that fits you and there’s hardly any pressure. Which makes a big difference for me and I’m absolutely certain it will for you personally! https://truehealthreport.com/yoga-burn-review-really-worth/
Loved this video! To keep me motivated I always focus on how I’m gonna feel afterward and how it will keep my energy alive throughout the rest of my day☺️❤️ Also the activewear is so cute!
my best motivation hack is to write a list of tasks i have to do for the day and keep it in a place where i can see it, so that i feel the need to complete them by the end of the day! Checking things off is honestly so satisfying and gives me the motivation to keep going!
Hey Rachel, I intend this to be constructive criticism just as an avid viewer of yours:) You’re a gorgeous woman, and this is a very informative video but I couldn’t help but keep getting distracted by the fake tan. I used to wear fake tan too a few years ago, religiously. But I think you suit your natural skin tone so much more girl! I’ve just read that some people are saying we shouldn’t comment on your appearance, but I liken it to what I’d tell a friend or my sister if I saw the same thing. Defs no bad vibes, always enjoy your videos xo
Really you are so underrated and you deserve many more subs! And though I live Australia and it’s getting a bit chill I still want a good body! Love u:)
She looks like an oompah loompah why do we live in such a fake world? Every other youtuber has fake lips, fake hair, fake lashes, fake skin colour, you’re all fake fake fake fake fake! It’s like genuine natural beauty is so hard to attain nowadays. Sad. I’ve been watching Rachel for years and recently I don’t know what she’s done to herself. I saw one of her videos from 2015 and she looked way better and more like herself.
Hello, I just started this plan! for to lose weight Watch the video here: http://weightlossin3weeks.com/how-to-burn-fat was surprised that my first fast day was not as hard as I thought it would be. I had my morning cup of coffee with a little milk and off to the gym I went.
I used to be obese and didn’t participate in any sports but after I went on Thai diet I lost 5 pounds within the first 7 days of following the diet. It’s really helped me loose weight and I’m not very active and have a healthier lifestyle. The diet is here if you want to try it yourself; http://3438fzdevag0mvcq71m5eaged6.hop.clickbank.net/
Love this video you look so pretty . This is a great video to keep me motivated during the Christmas season. This is one of the hardest times of the year to keep motivated and eat properly
Comment your BEST tip to get motivated to win a free 1 month BBFIT membership http://www.bbfit.co/browse LOVE YOU GUYS! Inspire each other in the comments I love to read them!
Hey, ABSOLUTELY love your videos! I did like 4 of your workouts last week everyday and oh my goddd, I already have amazing results I appreciate your channel so much. I can’t even describe how much you’ve helped!! Please do a 5 min flat tummy workout ❤️
Hey Tellie Gang, We back up in this thang. Today I want to help ya get motivate to lose weight. It’s Hot Girl Summer and my body ain’t here for the Summer and I figured I’ll share 8 Tips with you that I do to stay motivated. If you want to get straight to the tips, the Time Stamp is in the description and is also below. Enjoy
Bailey you are so inspiring and this community is so empowering. For myself my biggest motivation is focusing on my mind and trying to get out of my head. I believe that as humans we are capable of doing a lot more than what we think we can do. So, I check in with myself a lot. When I am running I imagine a lion is running after me so I push myself faster and further.
My best tip to get motivated for working out is how much it helps me balance all the other parts of my life, like feel sharper at work. The key is making it a habit first thing in the morning, or right after work (no sit rule!!)
What do you recommend for those who have difficulty eating enough to get to their maintenance level? I have a higher protein, lower carb diet (with lots of water-logged veggies) and protein fills me up so much it’s really uncomfortable to try to get up to maint lvl. Usually by a whole meal’s worth (deficit 500cal) as a result, I’m often tired as you said. I have a moderately active life style and don’t workout.
My best tip to get motivated is to write down all the steps I have to take till I meet my goal and everyday I thick a new step(different workouts). Also, I try to take pics, like a visual diary, every day, and from time to time I watch them and I get motivated when I see how much I changed. I mean how my body got fit in the last 4 months.
I am listening to what you’re saying, I promise, but I just had to stop and say oh my god you are GLOWING! Seriously girl, you look so healthy and honestly just luminous from the inside out whatever you’re doing, keep it up ✨
My Tip to get motivated is whenever I do work out it keeps me from being depressed. It’s my antidepressant. Because I noticed when I don’t do it that I can go into a hole or a funk. So that is really really what helps me stay motivated as much as possible when I can remember that. When I don’t do it I don’t have the energy for anyone or anything my kids or my grandkids. So that as motivation. Thank you so much for having me say that because saying it out loud or writing it down really does help.
i’ve been ‘off track ‘ for too long and finally planning on getting back on track with healthy eating, exercising and fitness, and you were the only person i thought of to search for real motivation.
This video was as always amazing and super helpful, I just love everything about you and your channel one of my favourite tips for when you need motivation is to really focus on why you want to be more active and also look at other people’s progress to see that anything is possible when you believe in yourself!
I appreciate the video and tips. Motivation is a key aspect in losing weight because without motivation then the losing weight part could be tough. If you are motivated and have a goal then you will more likely to continue your regime. I agree to all the tips and will be sure to pass this along. Thanx.
I love being apart of the bbfit community! They’re all so nice! I also love that we’re getting a e book each month! I love it! Sara and I have been loving the new workouts with ankle weights and the pilates ball! Your workouts are so much fun!
its a great motivational tips men. Though my health is good with a good body but it s really a motivational and working tips video for that people who really need to lose some weight. thanks for your video.
Love your videos Bailey ❤ Personally my motivation always has been buying new accessorie and trying new workouts. Recently I bought myself mini bands and I’m really excited trying new exercises
After each workout I feel energized, powerful and happy. I love working out watching your videos, you are the best!! ❤ For me it’s very important to try different exercises/ try different videos so I don’t get bored. You are right, we need to acknowledge our motivation and to have the self discipline to actually stick with it.
Wow I started reading the comments and it really amazes me how many people think it’s acceptable to tell you how they prefer you look. From the color of your skin; to you brows and face shape ; not to mention how to record your videos. I am sorry to see people treating you like this, thank you for this video. Your videos have been so helpful
U LOOK FUCKING GORGEOUS! Fuck off to those bastards who doesnt like her appearance… She is NOT asking for any of ours advice! …….sorry but i luv your accent!!!!!!!
I’ve gained a lot of weight from my birth control pill in the last 6 months. I am very uncomfortable with my body right now. I’ve been lucky in my life because I’ve always been very consistent with a healthy weight where I felt very good about my body. Now I just don’t know what to do. I haven’t had to worry about this before to be quite honest. I am going to my gynecologist next week to discuss a different birth control option that will hopefully not continue the weight gain issue. Anyone have any advice about what works/doesn’t work with not gaining weight on birth control? I have a long term boyfriend and I’m sexually active and uncomfortable with not being on a form of bc. And diet wise I am vegetarian and honestly eating healthier than I have in the past (when I didn’t have weight issues). I am doing a lot better with portion control and cutting out processed foods. I need to work on less dairy for sure though. As for exercise I am lacking. I work in an animal shelter and I end up getting so sore and tired from work that I have no desire to exercise. I also have a chronic pain condition that affects my knee function and I can’t do some exercises for too long without extreme discomfort. I feel like I’m making excuses for myself though. I don’t know I just need advise.
The 2 Week Diet is the diet program for safe, rapid weight loss. Based on a decade of scientific research, it promises 8-16 pounds of body fat in just 14 days. http://saadi143.2weekdiet.hop.clickbank.net/?pid=main
This might sound a little silly but a big motivator for me to workout is so that I can eat more of what I want to. I used to not workout regularly and so then I felt like I couldn’t “treat” myself to french fries with a meal or eat dessert without feeling guilty or like I’d gain weight. Now I workout at least 3 times a week and I don’t really think twice about what I eat. I’m sure I’d look more toned if I removed the treats but I feel great, can tell I’m getting stronger physically and love this balance
Sorry but I personally think advising people to eat a caloric deficit is completely wrong and bad health advise. Yes it will help you lose weight quick but is not a healthy lifestyle.
I am curious about how to survive the change from a very active job to a sedimentary one? As we spend 1/3 of our working life at work, does this have impact?
Thank you for the tips Rachel. It can be easy to underestimate how much we are eating if we don’t keep track. I know I have been surprised in the past when I track my food and suddenly see it’s more than I would expect. I seem to be stuck in maintenance which is fine but I could do with tracking to see where I can make adjustments to get back to somewhere I am a bit more comfortable with.
A motivation hack I use is bribing myself! I say if I work out everyday for two week I will buy myself a new outfit! You are so motivating and inspiring Bailey!! I would be ecstatic to win a free month to try out BBfit! Thanks so much for your hard work on this channel!
I have a really low muscle mass (18kg) (30kg fat) in my body and can only burn 1000kcals a day, what should I focus on, building muscle or losing fat? Keeping in mind I have a back injury that stops me from lifting heavy weights
Aaaargh its so hard to stop dinking soda, and eating candy, but i know i need to do It, not onlu for weight loss, but also cuz’ i want to be healty. So i’ll try doing it. I already won for not buying pizza this weekend, and that’s a HUUUGE for me hahaha
These were awesome motivational hacks! Apart from being a positive role model of health and fitness to my two kids, I’d have to say that getting my sweat (glow on) and relieving stress during a workout make me feel awesome, during and for sure, after my workout session.
I’m always bloated! I don’t seem to find the right diet for my problem. I do Yoga and meditate every morning to distress but I don’t have time for exercising! HELP! Love u! Looking beautiful as always
I have been a huge fan since 2016! I am 5’1” and very petite. When I found your channel I had recently lost 28lbs, I was 128 (ahh college years) Doesn’t seem like much, but on my small frame it was. I was going on vacation in the summer and your videos really motivated me to workout more. Health is my number one reason. Diabetics and heart disease runs in my family. I thought it’ll be easier to lose weight at 21yrs old than when I am older. Second reason, I wanted to be in the habit of eating healthy and working out to set a good example for my future family (when I decide to have kids). It has been almost been 3 years, and I have been able to keep my weight off. Feeling so confident has also really helped me to stay motivated because the hardest part is to keep the weight off! The last 2 months I have really been watching what I’m eating and joined the BBFIT community because my wedding is next month. I really want to feel confident on my honeymoon!
Are you aware that in case you knowingly steer clear of your favorite carbohydrate all the time because you believe they’re harmful or perhaps you think they’re the reason behind all of your extra belly fat, it can also be damaging for your hormone concentrations and in addition wreak mayhem on ones own metabolism? discover more helpful tips in this https://tinyurl.com/y92nuszy
Hello Rachel I dont want this to sound bad, but you look puffy in this video. I remember thinking this when you started to gain weight from pcos, is it possible because you are starting to reintroduce carbs?
I have to admit a thing, I started eating kinda on a calorie deficiency and with a huge difference and I am doing really good because I alsostarted to eat much more fruit. I just started looking better at the size of what I will eat. I do yt as well and it would mean the world if some of you could check me out, thanks
My parents always force me to eat. Even when i tell them that im not hungry… I was exercising every night secretly because if my parents know about it, they would be angrythey always says that im not fat, but i know they are lying… Im 169 cm high and i have 66,7kg…my weight it as if it is at the swing. Once its 62,2 once 66….im tired of it. Do you think that vomiting will help me?
Hello, I just started this plan! for to lose weight Watch the video here: >> weightlossin3weeks*com << (Google it) was surprised that my first fast day was not as hard as I thought it would be. I had my morning cup of coffee with a little milk and off to the gym I went. I was very surprised to find out that I could work out and not pass out! I did 15 min of aerobics! I drank a lot of ice tea and water all day. I ate some oatmeal with blueberries at noon and a salad at 6pm. I wanted to go to bed early so I could get up early and run to the kitchen and start eating! I was very surprised that when I woke up I was not starving!
Soo true about a cute outfit. When I feel cute, i wanna workout more… Also, my motivation will be to help a friend with their journey. If I know they rely on me and will be in the gym that day, it will make me come to workout anytime and check on them.
Stunning and incredibly helpful as always xoxoxo to all the negative people in these comments picking at her appearance, how would you like it if someone said that to you or to a friend or family member of yours? Seriously? Please be a decent, humble human being and keep the negative comments to yourself because they serve no purpose here. Rachel isn’t scrolling through your page picking on your appearance so why do it to her?
I didn’t realize you follow the “eat frequently” method, I’d be interested to know what you have to say on intermittent fasting. I’ve been trying it for the past few weeks after spending a lot of time researching the science of it and to me it seems like it almost makes the “eat frequently” point a little redundant? Each to their own and I 100% believe both work and that people need to experiment and find what works for their lifestyle and preferences because that’s a HUGELY significant factor, but I’d like to know your take on it, either by experience or the science behind it.
highly helpful “how to” video, changing your psychology to get inspired, staying motivated and a consistent plan towards diet and exercise is the building blocks on keeping the healthy lifestyle in progress.
My biggest motivation to working out is following your classes on YouTube, Bailey! I just discovered your channel during quarantine a few weeks ago and have been doing a workout/workouts with you on the beach every single day and watching your very informative blogs too.
This is a fantastic video, I will be showing this to my Mum and best friend because all of us want to lose a bit of weight. Really good tips, really good advice, thank you so much:)
My best tip to get motivated is to do a workout with a friend, or going to a class if i can. It helps me when i feel i dont go through it alone and then I feel energized and can continue for the week.
My best motivation hack is new activewear, because I feel so much more confident working out (and I just want to wear my cute new set!) As well as going to group workout classes as it pushes me SO MUCH harder than I could ever push myself and I love it!
What keeps me motivated is to plan my workouts, when I’ll do them and then when I achieve them. I add a gold star sticker next to what Bailey Brown workout or workouts I did. This just makes yourself come back for more, letting yourself be aware of your achievements and celebrate them, as well as just feeling better in your own skin and getting stronger and healthier as a person. Thankyou Bailey Brown for being someone that inspires and motivates, as you have done both for me. ❤️
This is exactly what I needed going into the new year to help me stick to my resolutions. The daily mile markers is especially a great idea, I’m always looking too far in the future. Taking it one day at a time hitting small daily goals is a much better method I think. Thanks!
I’ve already commented this tip before but my best motivational tip is to take a picture of myself half naked in terrible department store dressing room lighting! It’s the worst!!!
hi bailey! thanks for the tips:) I had a suggestion! I know it’s a bit harder of places to target, but I would really love if you were able to make an upper booty workout, or a lower back workout…thanks so much again!
Hi Bailey. I want to apologize for a recent comment as I feel it was misunderstood. My intentions were not to be unkind or disrespectful. I’m not the best expressing how I’m feeling and I will absolutely pay more attention to this in the future. I hope you accept my apology. Best wishes to you always.

Guys. lost a lot of weight does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I will give you some advice now. Look for a popular lose weight diet plan called Custokebon Secrets (do a google search). Thanks to it I have lost a lot of fat. I probably should not even be speaking about it cause I don’t want lots of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I am just simply in a great mood today and so I’ll share the wealth lol.
wow this is really amazing video. it’s highly motivating to lose weight and do proper exercises. thanks for sharing useful information.
For women eating frequently imbalances hormones and increases insulin. You should have 3 meals a day so you body has tume to process the food.
Thank you for posting this! I recently had a narly sports injury and have struggled to lose weight without working out! So helpful:)
Nice video.

Hello, I just started this plan! for to lose weight Watch the video here: http://weightlossin3weeks.com/how-to-burn-fat
was surprised that my first fast day was not as hard as I thought it would be.
I love motivation topic, it was really hard in the beginning but I’m glad i have my sister who has the same goal as me, eating healthy and having discipline helped us loose more then 100 pounds We love working out to Bbfit and always look forward to working out with you since we do see results . I agree to all these tips. Love you Bailey ❤️❤️❤️
This is a great video to keep me motivated during the Christmas season. This is one of the hardest times of the year to keep motivated and eat properly
You are right, the solution lies in psychology rather than physical. Sleep and nutrition play an important role. Thanks a lot doctor.

Love your workouts!

Seriously girl, you look so healthy and honestly just luminous from the inside out whatever you’re doing, keep it up ✨
Thank you so much for point number two. I never considered trying my maintenance calories first before I deficit. Such a good observation.
Thanks for the video Rachel!
I’d love to see a video from you all about healthy snack options (easy snacks to take to work).
Much love!
Fuck off to those bastards who doesnt like her appearance…
She is NOT asking for any of ours advice!

Thank you so much! I try to exercise at least twice a week, or walk, but sometimes is so hard to make time for it, this is helpful love from Mexico
Terrific video, Rachel, you always bring top notch content.
Thought I’d mention that you have “weight loss” misspelled in your description box. Tiny thing, but I know i’d appreciate if someone told me:)
I really adore your “slowly but surely” approach. Just eat the right amount of food for months! You’re truly inspiring. Thanks, Rachel.
Sorry for my bad english
Hello, I just started this plan! for to lose weight Watch the video here:
>> weightlossin3weeks*com << (Google it)
was surprised that my first fast day was not as hard as I thought it would be.
If I know they rely on me and will be in the gym that day, it will make me come to workout anytime and check on them.

i love to work out because it makes you feel so good about yourself! and when you finish off a workout, the endorphins are just amazing!!
