New years resolutions don’t work. Everybody knows that, and still people keep on frickin’ talking about it! It’s so goddamn annoying to have to listen to this crap EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
the only time i touch alcohol is at Christmas and Thanksgiving and that it is only 1 or 2 glasses of wine. Also what are your thoughts on Mark posting that the KOA is taking a break
I feel the same way as you! I drink about 2 or 3 times a month and whenever I do drink, I feel awful the next day tired, headache, no motivation, loss of appetite. Now I do it occasionally and I’m much happier!
I tried this last year. I might have slept a little better, but other than that it didn’t do much for me. It’s interesting to see how profound your changes were.
I gave up drinking when I got married. But I still went on a party once in a while and I was always sorry the next day. It was like I gave myself the flue. Even if I have one drink these days I’m sorry the next day. I do want to move to Washington so I can get high if I choose to. No hang over there.
Never done dry January but even though I work in the wine trade, I still don’t drink everyday, some days not even every week. I’d love to give it a try though!

Why is WIRED doing wine reviews? This is not cutting edge, this is nerdy GQ. I still remember reading WIRED issue 1 and this is not in that spirit.
I just dont see the appeal in non-alcholic drinks. I enjoy a beer at the end of a hard day to help me wind down; not for the taste.

Why can’t folks just not drink for the month? I mean if you drink 11 months of the year, Why do ‘ya think that one month will be so troublesome?
