  • Awesome vid. I always love sweet, warm almond milk with turmeric but never thought about the company Asian of spices. I think I’ve have to expand my use of turmeric

  • your vedio is very much informative and helpful; but I am not sure how much to use of all the ingredients you mentioned if I were to use them while I am home preparing food. I appreciate your input

  • This seems like one of the least toxic youtube communities I’ve seen. Glad I came across this video restored my faith in humanity

  • I enjoy your vegan recipes, however don’t like all that plastic your using,,,if you microwave it, your adding a chemical radiation storm to all your efforts

  • I have watched two of your videos that title it 30 meals for $30…What? Usually these videos tell us how much you paid for stuff. Why not just leave out the $30 if you are not going to tell is what each item cost and where you bought it? I feel cheated.

  • The American indians would have had certain foods stored. Dried meats, fish, nuts, berries and other things. In the past, people also used root cellars. So, I don’t agree that our ‘ancestors’ never had any food stored. That would be a Very primitive group. Why is he saying that?

  • Love the videos! Making this meal prep today ❤️.

I ordered the recommended meal prep containers and heads up. They are fairly low quality and much more expensive compared to the ones at my local Sam’s Club. The plastic cut is sharp and jagged and comparatively they are hard to take on and off. I returned them.

  • What are the ingredients for this? I see an ingredient section, but it doesn’t mention the tofu. I feel like it is missing a few item.

  • I’ve tried those with a friend and they’re delicious. My friend introduced me to the Plant Paradox and I got the recipe book from the library. My gut does not hate me anymore. Thank you.

  • How you prepare the green beans and peas was absolutely perfect. That’s the way you should have did the vegetables that you roasted. We got to learn to Value the natural Taste of vegetables. There’s nothing wrong with seasoning. But when we add sauces add sugar, fat, and calories. What you could have done was had maybe the sauce on the side then you can dip it. Because what you’re trying to do is get the taste in your mouth.

  • Microwaving with the spinach in the plastic will melt the plastic toxic content into the spinach. Well… Dr. Gundry, we don’t follow this part now…. it is ironical of all the things that you talk about chemicals. What about the plastic chemicals that would just emit from microwaving!!! I guess that you are almost quite correct but not 100%.

  • Ancestors never broke fast:)) breaking fast every body does. I break my fast at 12 pm around, my first meal of the day for the last 3 and the half years is 3 eggs and few low GI veggies

  • Just found your channel while looking for vegan recipes. You two are fantastic! I already made a few things after watching your thanksgiving video yesterday. I had all the ingredients in my kitchen, super easy, I think your channel might be my new fav!

  • G’Day from OZ Adam and Steph. Really enjoyed this video and will have to come back and make some of it. The question i always have but forget to ask is. What is Australian equivalent of red sauce? I think i normally end up just using a pasata or something. But any my advice you can give me would be great. Thanks.

  • Love the meal prep but I’m trying to find the ingredient list in the description, I think the one that is posted is wrong? I just didn’t see carrots/cashews/etc anywhere in the vid.

  • Hello dr guntry.do you want to see the feminine version of this breakfast:)? I put 2 tablespoons of grounded flax seeds, 1 scoop partially hydrolized guar gum, 1 egg, stevia, vanila essence, peal of orange, blueberries, rassberies, optional egg, ground almond, almond milch (no oil) and microwave…

  • Love how you put your ring back on after losing it in wash. Made me laugh. What you do when you are in a rush to prep. So it looks like you are having 24k rice hahahha. Great prepping Adam you are a rockstar and steph good coaching comments. You are a lucky wife. Happy wife happy life Adam.

  • Clean up consists of 10 items to wash and 23693 things that Adam dropped on the floor Great video guys! I like how you don’t edit out things like losing the ring in the rice. It’s stuff like that which made me hit that subscribe button a long long time ago ♡♡

  • The body requires meat for energy, which is B12. Also for the complete chain of amino acids found in meats. Also a real man needs two of those dishes to be satisfied, per meal.

  • I don’t like onions or their family members, so I’ve never tried. I do know what they are though, as I’ve been in grocery retail for 10 years. Produce are the codes that will never leave my brain

  • I love leeks!! Usually I make leek quiche or I put them in the oven in big pieces, put much olive oil, salt and pepper. And it turns amazing

  • JP man I appreciate you you are my favorite YouTubed and seem to know all of the stuff of obstacles and u helped me develop my game more thank you for being yourself and for not being afraid to do so. You inspire me everyday. Just keep making this incomparable content all love

  • well our ancestors would eat breakfast but most times it was leftovers from the night before. Cold cooked meats and tea was the most often breakfasts

  • What I love about your channel is that anyone can find the ingredients you use and you don’t buy expensive things or things or make anything too complicated

  • As for leek, I recommend raw leek in a salad. Cut a large leek finely, sprinkle with salt and leave it for about 30 mins to soften. Then add a can of red beans and a can of pineapple chunks. With some salt, pepper and a bit of mayo it turns into a fantastic side dish. I also like to add some shredded cheese but as you don’t eat dairy, you can just skip it:) Enjoy!

  • I love these meal prep episodes!! Leek is a very popular vegetable in the polish cuisine, along with parsley root (amazing! sweet!) and cellery root these are the must-be ingredients for a good broth. There is a Polish chef, owner of many restaurants, who runs Polish edition of kitchen nightmares. I always laugh because she always puts whole vegetable to make the broth and doesn’t cut them stressing that it will make the broth better but she also puts the whole leek in there. I’m always like, OMG, gotta love this broth with some dirt from the unwashed leek.:D I’m so sorry for my bad English!

  • I put the veggies or green paper in some vinegar and water to wash it can kill bugs or anything on it and it don’t change the taste of it.

  • Find the egg use shocking, i´ve read a study (eggs) yolk are very bad for you bc containing lots of fat and cholesterol, which can try hart diseases

  • Are there any health topics you’d like to know more about? Let me know in the comments below!

  • I’ve eaten leeks, but I’ve been afraid to cook them myself. Now I’m stoked to try roasting them. Thanks for these great recipes! I’ve been wanting to try vegan. I’ve done vegetarian for ten years.

  • I’ve never tried leeks, but I’m about to! I did my first meal prep with the Mediterranean curry, Mexican beans and rice with salsa and guac, and the baked broccoli with tofu hummus and red PEPPER I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before. Thanks you guys! Y’all made this so easy for me! ✌️

  • Dr. Gundry…. would people have better immune systems if “Active birth management” was not employed and the baby received all of the blood in the placenta?

  • Pancakes are shown to be fillers, which is good if you’re very hungry in the morning. But they are also high in carbs, and ingesting too much carbs can create serious problems.

  • Hi I cant belive how clever you are I havnt and wont use a microwave for over 10 years do you know how bad they are! I see your a heart surgeon I have most respect to you as had open heart surgery at st thomas hospital in London as only found out I had a 4cm hole in my heart which caused other problems had a 5 hr operation to mend me mr conal austin did it what a lovley guy just like you I have your book now and staring on this diet thankyou for all your telling us your just an amazing guy thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

  • Thank you for helping us live longer and healthier lives, Dr. Gundry! You are the MD of 2 of my dear friends.:) I plan to use Quorn Grounds in the Ultimate Breakfast Recipe. I have a question about the Full Recipe shown on Elephant Journal’s site. Is the recipe correct when they say to add fennel seeds and NOT need to brown the Quorn Grounds prior to adding them to the egg mixture? Their website says, “If you prefer to make vegetarian “green” muffins, substitute Quorn Grounds for the turkey sausage. There’s no need to fry them, so you can skip step #2 below. Instead, briefly defrost and add to the spinach-egg mixture with a teaspoon of fennel seeds.” I look forward to hearing from you! <3

  • We made the muffins this morning with some deviations from the recipe. None of our local stores have pasture-raised chicken or turkey. We went with Step 3 (on the Whole Foods scale) ground chicken breakfast sausage, 14 ounces (instead of 1 lb of turkey sausage as the recipe called for). Could not find 10-ounce bags of frozen spinach, we used a 12 ounce bag. We didn’t have dried minced onions or onion powder, so I minced a couple tablespoons of raw red onion. On all other ingredients we kept the quantities per the recipe. Although… Should it really be 2 “teaspoons” of Italian seasoning instead of tablespoons?

Baked at 350, but it took closer to 40 minutes (because of moisture from the extra spinach?). Then we let the muffins cool for 5 minutes and dug in.

His verdict: He’d make it again, but only if we cut the Italian seasoning in half.
My verdict: DELICIOUS, and I love the seasoning. I ate one muffin and found it quite filling. Hope they freeze well, as I’ll be the only one eating this batch, ha.

The only bummer for me is a lot of the muffin stayed behind when we peeled it out of the paper cup. Possible causes: too high a spinach-to-meat ratio, didn’t cool them long enough, cook them long enough? Anyone else had that issue?

  • Im all for this recipe theres nothing wrong with it no matter what ppl say there is no perfect way to do anything just eat good foods! The one thing im confused on is you always refer to our ancestors and I’m pretty sure our ancestors were not looking to eat meatless grounds…they straight up just hunted there food and ate meat. Turkey meat would be okay in this I would imagine. Although I do love that quoern it is actually really good

  • Great make ahead healthy meal. As I hate washing dishes I would be inclined to divide the sausage up into the muffin cups then topping up with egg mix. Way less cleanup. Easier to thaw spinach in bowl of warm water or take out and leave in fridge overnight. Thanks for sharing the initial concept, much appreciated.

  • I’ve been watching your videos and listening to the pod casts since we started “Stay Home”. Your point about fasting is great, it has been practiced in many cultures and feels great.

  • Just a suggestion: since you meal prep for almost all your meals, you can consider getting reusable containers and lead by example to lessen the burden on mother nature:)

  • I like Dr Gundry but not the recipe.
Quorn can cause serious allergic reactions.
Has a lot of fat ans salt.
They say that the product is “mushroom protein” or “mushroom in origin” but is made from mold that is grown in liquid solution in large tanks.
Cooking with plastic in the microwave is a no no. So many eggs!!
X breaksfast i just drink decaf coffee, tea or veg juice with rice crackers.

  • Oxalate muffins…go carnivore and you don’t have to worry about lectins, oxalates and the 50 other anti-nutrients in plant foods.

  • Hi, I popped over to your channel after seeing you on Andrew Coleman Smith’s video. I also go to Orangetheory and was looking into meal prep to help me. I am going to purchase your book, and try the app. Hopefully I can modify the recipes as I am plant based. Keeping fingers crossed for a plant based meal prep book next. Keep up the good work!

  • Awesome to come across your vegan meal prep channel. 2019 im starting my meal prep for 1st time on my journey. Im sure it will help tremendously

  • Dr. G I was looking into the ingredients of the Quorn grounds and gluten is listed as one of the allergens. Can you please explain?

  • This Diet has literally saved my life. I wont go into details but anyone reading this know there is a healthier, livelier and sounder you under all that fat and pain. You will never know how bad you felt until you feel so good. It is like you are like a precognitive machine now, everything starts working out in life, people treat you differently. Just work through the pain and misery, fear is the only thing that gets smaller the closer you get to it. Trust the plan.

  • Talking about microwaving bagged spinach and processed veggie chorizo sausage
I get that you got sponsored but it looks ridiculous when you make it so obvious.

  • In 35yrs I have never and will never cook, or defrost plastics in the microwave. The plastic is being melted into your food. If the plastic says microwave safe, it’s not. Microwave safe means the plastic won’t melt, doesn’t mean plastics not going into food. Use glass only.

  • We bought and read Dr. Gundry’s books and we started the Plant Paradox Program to the letter. Before that, we were on a 2 month clean keto, meaning moderate protein and only healthy fats. We had entered ketosis on day 3 of keto and we were never out, reaching ketosis levels of 3-4 on some days and never less than 1. My husband lost 15 lbs, I lost 9 and both my teenage children were loosing weight too, even though they were consuming higher carbs, example milk in moderation. We loved the new diet because introducing resistant starches made our restrictive keto more enjoyable. We introduced green plantains, cassava and other RS from your list in moderation since we were sceptical. As pe your recommendations we increased a lot our fat intake, eg. spoons of olive oil daily. We use the 14 day glucose sensors and the ketosis meter. During your 3 day fasting we lost 3-4 lbs and had the highest ketosis level ever, however, as soon as the phase 2 started with its resistant starches, we started to reduce ketones levels, significantly increase glucose levels and put on back the weight. The foods are obviously more delicious, but within 2 days we were out of ketosis for the first time in 2 months since we started Keto. We are very disappointed indeed. A man, a woman, a teenage girl and a teenage boy, that’s a pretty varied group to test the program! Those muffins he just made are keto by the way! Go and add cassava flour for instance, that’s the difference between keto and plant paradox.

  • I purchased your Plant Paradox Book….I used to make my breakfast muffin something similar to that but I thought eggs are to be avoided for someone with autoimmune disease….‍♀️

  • This channel gets more views than pewdiepie but they have less subscribers how does this happen?I dont know but Dude perfect is better than pewdiepie!

  • As you probably know many of the olive oils on the market today are either fake or mixed with other cheaper unhealthy oils. Can you suggest a source or brand that is pure olive oil???????????

  • I started with the diet evolution and all of Dr Gundry’s newer books. Down 40 lbs. and off all my meds. The weight loss was easy. Thought I was eating healthy before this.

  • Hi Dr Gundry, I can’t believe you’ve just cooked spinach in a PLASTIC bag in the Microwave, that will fill the food with harmful chemicals. Great recipe but dreadful method with the spinach. You need to research the chemicals in plastic, we’ve been warned not to drink from plastic water bottles from a hot car!!! What’s the difference! Love your work though!

  • Please you always been a vegetarian type even before you learn about Lectins and some of us also suffer from Oxalates. I like Vetables, but I prefer to be Arthritis free….

  • I was shocked to hear you say you put the frozen spinach in the bag in the microwave! You could easily thaw it in a bowl of warm water and once thawed squeeze out the water.

  • I have two of the Plant Paradox cookbooks.
    The recipes are surprisingly delicious.
Dr. Gundry partnered with a professional chef. This partnership is a game-changer!

  • My boyfriend and I stink at cooking rice!! We follow the directions on the bag, but it never turns out What are we doing wrong?! We also have a gas stove. HELP lol

  • all that plastic-packaged stuff from the frozen food section… and using the microwave! Ugh-h… Stopped watching on the 3rd min(((

  • Eggs are not healthy…. they aggravate any sickness or diseases you may have….plus microwave plastic?? really? be careful…. he is not my cup of tea for foods for sure

  • I’ll say no to this. No no no. Why? I’m postulating that plants are simply more toxic. They likely don’t only have lectins as their defense mechanism, they have plenty more such as oxalates etc. And Dr. Gundry for reasons I do not know seem to just not address this. Why in the world would I juice out a packaged food for muffins with nutrient quality I can not tell? I’ll rather have the 10 eggs scrambled in pure lard or grass fed butter for late breakfast only than this. This appears to be a sure way to just have early onset gray hair. Foods don’t have to look like their commercialized equivalents. U can eat eggs for dinner if that works for u as long as ur overall energy and nutrient intake matches ur body weight or desired body weight. My opinion only.

  • I have a diet plan that will help everyone, how about eating what you grew up on, your body knows how to deal with foods now the real problem with foods and how they are messing with are foods… (The mother plant)..The DNA of the planets… GMOs and processed foods are big problems… The fab diets and doctor who think they know everyone’s problem, we are all different and our body’s reaction to certain foods are all going to be different…. we all aren’t going to be a size 4… I feel some of these doctors are out to sell books…or some other medicines or supplements they are selling…or they wanta be famous…I want to see one doctor who took their oath seriously…its all money makers and Drug dealers to me… sorry Steven, but I’m real about how i feel…. I’m sure you got a lot of other subscribers to follow you and think you are they’re savior.. but I know the truth about most Doctors. Sadly I have no hope…. for a doctor to help me..

  • Called Spinach Frittata Muffins..would use fresh spinach, cause that was too much!! you didn’t even take bite, cause it was gross looking and tasting if it was even cooked

  • I agree not to heat olive oil or use microwaves according to Healing with Whole Foods. I have used tallow and ground beef and coconut oil and ground beef and butter and feta. They are all lovely.

  • Sorry, but that looks like a BIG hassle to make in the morning and that weird sugar-filled quorn product is not anything I would eat and seems counter the no refined sugar and no fruit that I thought this plan requires. Hmmm

  • I was going to try this diet but I just read through the comments and realized how dumb some of these ppl are in the comments. nagging on every thing he has done. Hes being practical because most ppl will use a microwave they do have steamable veggies in case none of you knew that. Also the spinach talk is so stupid..its a huge necessity all greens are but you all go ahead and eliminate every high vitamin food there is.. DONE. I will eat a healthy balanced diet with all foods.. I will invest in a pressure cooker though

  • I guess Dr. Gundry has no issues with microwave and plastics? Is there a different green that you would recommend? I have seen confusing videos presented by the Dr. that says spinach and kale can be a problem.

  • Mr. Roger’s newfangled diet. Gundry proclaims certain anti-RDA truisms as if he, not a Barry Sears or an Adkins or a Weston Price, came up with them. And he had to change it all up a bit to sell books. That skin on those tomatoes is NOT ALLOWED! Ten tablespoons of olive oil a day! Wow, how original.

  • Time to MAN/ WOMAN UP!! All you losers that’s watching that unnecessary stuff I’m calling you OUT!!! ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE!! It may be tough but you can do it!! Let’s elevate!! Please like and share

  • Damn bro, I felt all of that. How you get so wise at 20? Man… my friends need to watch this. You’re an inspiration JP keep up da good stuff!

  • can u please do a video on the footwork of left hand layups because i made a big mistake not working on my left hand layups when i was younger and i keep stutter stepping

  • Love leeks just hate cleaning them… I’m currently obsessed with your rice and beans, and now want to try your rice and green beans

  • Jp thanks a lot I truly appreciate it.
    You speaking facts.
Thanks for all of this tips Im a teen And still searching for myself AMD you helping me out here THANKS.
    P.S Will share 😉
