arnie give me motivation and inspiration. im 29 and i feel a motivation to get serious about weightlifting. I had tried it somewhat all throughout my 20s but only got through a few months before i lost motivation cause i wasnt getting results and gave up and either stayed with cardio or just skipped the gym all together. Sometimes I think maybe i’m too old already at 29 to start lifting and getting the physique I desire, my testosterone levels probably peaked already and my scrawny bones probably cant take it. but those are just excuses. and im tired of making excuses. thanks arnie, i needed this, thats it I’m hitting the gym today.
Oh, I’m passing exams on this and the next week and your videos help me just to unwind my brain and feel the body; thanks so much, I love you and what you’re doing!
You need a vision, but it’s not enough. You have to set yourself specific goals and then you have to translate those goals into specific things you need to do. And then you have to set up a system with which you record whether you did those things. If you do that last thing, you will confront yourself with whether you are making progress on your goals or not. And that feedback will quickly make you do those important things more and more. If you just have a vision, just a dream, you will never reach it.
