  • Video: So you end up in a whole different stage if you make better choices each day
Me: Hmmm, so if I watch Better Than Yesterday every day instead of random cat videos…

  • Thanks for this Great video.
    2018= challenging, rushing and relaxing
2019=life changing, eye opening and miraculous
Planned so much, Visualized much and I need to do more now. Uninstalled pubg, getting ready for the next morning to boost up my life. I was searching for a quality questionnaire session when it came up. Thanks again.

  • First question is no really important for me. The ones that really love you would remember you, no matter what. Having gratitude is really powerful. What really important to you? This is what maintain you alive each day…

  • This has been one of the best videos I’ve seen explaining how good habits transform us into our best or ideal version. Every decision counts.

  • Q4 I would be a successful businessman who owns multiple businesses living a great life with lots of fun, happiness, love and success that’s how I would live in 2019 and beyond

  • Whenever I am down.. I see this video. It motivates me to live my life the best way I can.. It seems to wipe away all my care and anxieties of this present life. I feel light and relax after watching it.. Thanks to you Fearless soul.. You are doing a great job,we’re looking forward to you for more of these kind of videos

  • Im alarmed by this, this comparison between the choc bar and the salad, gaming or hanging out with friends, what rubbish? What about balance, and whos to judge correct path, whos to judge the best version, seems to me that just being is the way forward and which is vital to health, most things that take hard difficult work often isn’t meant for you, I once made these silly ideas you propose, epic fail!! Then I realised sitting back, being calm and happy with nothing, then I realised I had to dump the high paid successful job, big house the large groups of false money grabbing friends, became a DJ HIPPY, turned vegan and have few friends now, your interpretation of success needs seriously questioning, happy and successful is not measured by gaming, tv, or choclate bars, maybe try expanding your choice of decisions as I felt this patronising and at the end there, oh I know you now understand!!!!! What???? Please no more self styled people with this copy and paste attitude of success makes me very sad indeed

  • You are very good motivator as well as teacher. I liked your videos. What you have told in this video just exactly happens to me. So from this afternoon I am going to choose the best version of myself

  • Yes! To describe my 2018? attempt, failure and resilience

What might keep me from getting where I want to be 2019? Laziness, lack of discipline, not being ableto handle setbacks, lack of heart, perseverance and confidence (in your own abilities)

How would I organise myself to do what I want to do in 2019?I would listen to motivational videos, schedule my day, celebrate small victories, and by that also, take baby steps to my goals.

How would your life be like in 2019 if you were living the way you could by your potential? It is hard for me to say an answer but I believe my sense of achievement and self esteem will have gradually increased as I go on

How would I look back to 2019 in 10-20 years? As a breakthrough for me in life (im only 13.5 years old at the time this is posted) to make an impact on this world

What are the steps you would take right now? Well, I said earlier, that I would take baby steps to achieve my goals celebrating small victories in the process e.g. I want to lose weight I recommend to start by keeping hydrated and eliminating dessert after dinner then I would stop keeping unhealthy foods in the house

  • This channel has made such a difference in my life. I used to try and surround myself with people who weren’t necessarily good people but now I have friends who try to help me become the best I can be. I used to watch tv until nearly midnight everyday but now I go shower and read at ten. Just recently I started a goal to raise a bunch of money so me and my friends could get a forge and make knives. At first I felt overwhelmed but this channel helped me achieve that goal. Thank you

  • Tim is like: thanks for your support through out 2016.
I am like: I am the very person who need to say thanks for. It is lucky for me to find out your videos.
     Happy new year!

  • 1. Confident-Challenging-Freedom
    2. Easily distracted with social media aps and mobile games
    lack of time management
    lack of productivity skills
    3. A daily routine of exercise, meditation and looking at my vision board, timeline, and reading my reason why I want to be successful
    4. Happier, Confident, Charismatic Leader, Healthy Lifestyle and have a good body, Unstoppable
    5. I’m successful. I give free education from Badjao’s. I’m an inspirational and motivational speaker
    6. Empowering the Right Mindset that will lead me to MASTERY in any aspect I want to improve for me to grow

  • Hey guys….

The best message is don’t try to change for others…..be u always……

Be yourself……..don’t feel bad when others say something…..Be powerful

    More than Enything be yourself….
    Believe in yourself

  • All work and no play makes a man mad. All play and no work makes a man nothing. In the video the scale ideally is 10 0 but realistically 6 4. I believe greatness the top 1% (dream makers) go as far as 9 1 and some months 9.5.5.

  • Most people often fail to account for good luck and bad luck in life. Almost everything in my life that I planned and worked for had failed. Almost everything that has been a success and made me happy came at chance. Of course, luck does favor the prepared, but if u wanna make God laugh then tell him your plans for your life. My point: live your life the best u know how moment to moment, learn from the past, and don’t over-stress the future. B motivated by walking toward the things and people u love rather than running from the things u fear. “Success” is a highly relative concept, so u get to define it however u want. Strive for primary happiness rather than secondary…e.g. go to school for the love of learning, 1st and foremost, and understanding that doing it for a future great-paying job is secondary, because u may find that don’t even like the job u r worked toward and the money u get might not buy u any happiness at all, but if u enjoy learning u r instantly happy.

  • Here they are:

  • I’ve watched this before and find it extremely uplifting! I practice gratefulness on a daily basis. Walk through any hospital pediatric floor or oncology floor, homeless shelter, or VA hospital. There is always something to be thankful for. Family is the most important to me. As for my funeral, wow…..

  • answers of your questions:

12018 in 3 words: misrable, painful, stressful
2me hearing my iner voice may keep me away from where i want to go in 2019
3follow a system, plan ( daily lists, weekly lists, monthly lists … plan for the worst case scenario..ect…)

  • I want to become trilingual in Swahili and another language. I plan to take online lessons on Italki and do other things-I’ve already planned this out. I am working on it daily, also using DuoLingo. I need to mix things up; I’m too regimented. I need to get out of my language rut. I need variety in my learning in order to make things happen better. When things get boring the mind doesn’t learn and you don’t grow.

  • Great video,so powerfull and so much energy in it! For a long time I haven’t seen such a strong message in so little time. Also, the voice is great:) Greetings from Bosnia , keep up a good work

I prefer not to get any support and do it myself, not to prove them… But to prove me.. that I can do it myself.

  • I onced watched a motivational speech on you tube; and I sincerely believe that the heart is more perceptive than the brain, if you’re not comfortable doing something don’t do it.

  • Literally the best YouTube video I have ever seen after 10 years and tens of thousands of videos watched. The highest compliment I can give and thank you! Hope to talk one day.

  • ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
I need a favour from you
after watching so much of a video I got inspired from u
and i thought of taking Action
    ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
I used to write 10 business ideas every day and I have stick to one
which I think I love to do
    Q) and I want to share this idea with you to know your opinion
    what did you feel??????
    》》》》》》》》》》》》》》
and I want to tell you my business idea at first by solving a big problem

    And the problem is
In India we have so many hotels
they provide good food but they are very costly on the other hand if we go to any
street stall《[ small stall which provide mainly fast food, daily foods Near street corners ( KFC founder was used to be a Small Vendor first then he became successful)]》
Street stall may provide good quality quantity and test
but somehow there doesn’t get much exposure the cannot get so many orders
    and clients
    ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
so I have come up with the idea of
    ” IDEA “
    《The online food stall》
    we will have a workstation
there we will Bring stall people and trained them and provide them good raw materials for cooking and teach them about hygiene
    which ensures the quality
people who cook in streets provides the best tasty food as they have to survive
so we will have a app
that will connect this food service with common people we will have a delivery system to transfer the food in( 25 min)
the best thing about our App is the consumer can audit Their food
there will be a questioner which will help them to edit the food as they like [ can make food more spicy crispy cheese]
and at a low cost we will provide best food after eating food consumers will give rating to the cook so that his business can fly off
    like ola and Uber cabs
they also can see the position of the delivery boy in Google Maps
    ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
Our revenue would be generated from Google and Facebook adds
and in every food delivery excluding raw materials we will add an additional 10% charge to the consumer
but then also our cost of food will be less than of Hotel 50 % less
and for home delivery in a hotel they charge a minimum amount of 10 to $15
we will have no minimum amount for delivery
so what did you think about my Idea please comment
by the way my name is
Alok Ranjan I am from India
    age 18
and making this ideal reality is my new years resolution

    hope!!!!

  • Thank you for your insight inspirational thought. I like your charisma and the way you put the messages out to us, You are great and convincing… Happy New Year

  • Happy New Year Tim and Toma!

    Here are my answers:
    1. Serendipity, Mindful, Challenging
    2. Self-doubt in facing problems. I realize that some key challenges I faced this year are opportunities waiting to be born. But then whenever I put myself down, the challenge seems more difficult.
    3. Plan ahead and take action. Set up annual, monthly, weekly and daily rituals to set myself up for success.
    4. I’d have total emotional, spiritual, and financial freedom. I no longer have to do things because I need to. I’d only do things I love and want to.
    5. It’s gonna be the year I finally unleash my potential and help greatly my community. It’s the year I am living up to my capacity.

Btw. This is Julia from Philippines. I lost my phone and just borrowed my mum’s

  • Best video I could’ve come across. I went into last year sort of with a resolution that totally failed and was discouraged from making a resolution for this year…but this video inspired to recreate a vision of the destination I want in life and for 2018.

  • I onced watched a motivational speech on you tube; and I sincerely believe that the heart is more perceptive than the brain, if you’re not comfortable doing something don’t do it.

  • my first take is i get ride of my comfort zone. in 2018
    and keep learning and growing
    that’s the our nature.
thank you TIM Sir from bottom of my heart

  • Help others everyday! Live YOUR best life! We are writing the book on how to do this. This is also is touching on the topic of our video today, we are asking the question about why some people take the leap and others hang back. Is it fear of failure, laziness, or are they comfortable?

  • Today I m grearful to you fearless soul for giving us this Wonderful video.. Three Q’s r really I should ask myself.. Thanks

  • if you make the same person everyday you might become a succsesfull and fit person but have no friends and be misrable. you wouldn’t be in the middle you would be at a different corner. in this case the athletes corner

  • Simplyfied yes but to see it in a bigger perspective we are told that everyone can be successful. The part that isn’t said is not all can be successful at the same time. Why? Because of arbitrary economic rulesets that forces humans to compete against eachother in a questionable game of the winner takes it all. Who is in favor of such a system? Everyone who wants to earn money on other peoples work. Seems much of a hidden slave machinery no matter where i look. The only exception is crafting something on your own or creative work. Thing is the moment you are earning money means someone else is in dept. I kinda feel like if i am succcessful and get money i would put someone i dont even know into misery. The industry is a mean playground and we should really think about what kind of role model do we want to follow. It seems like everyones stuck their heads so deep into their own life that they dont really get whats really going on

  • Amazing questions, Tim. I will be keeping these questions consistently in my mind to provide me direction in life. Thanks for sharing as always!

  • Thankyou so much fearless souls.
I’m going to write in detail about these three questions in my dairy.
It feels so good to listen to you.
I’m grateful for everything that’s happening in my life and I’ll continue my noble aim of spreading love for every one.

  • I always be thankful for everything whtever i possess today…..this is my gratitude towards my life……i m passionate abt me wanted to make a miracle story of my own….

  • My best find in YouTube! Whenever I took my meal I at least watch 1 video of this channel. Thanks for altering the way I think . I may not see the progress for now but if I do this consistently, the result will show up. BTW my book of “Mindset” by Carl Dweck is on the way! I’m excited to read it

  • OHH FFS! SOOOOOOOO TIRED OF ALL THESE INSPIRATIONAL BS COOKIE CUTTER VIDEOS. These say nothing but a bunch of regurgitated inspirational quotes, that noone ever follows through with anyway!
    Wake up people!

  • I claim it! This is my year! as I was born 1982…year of the dog….I will surely surely gonna do it to materialize all my goals and dreams.

  • This video was one of their most uplifting positive sources of information I’ve received in my life the guy in the video reminds me of me I I have walked in the park by myself and done a lot of the physical movements that he did I will keep this video cherish it and continue to try and change my life for the better for me and those close to me thank you so much and God bless everyone

  • My first thought after listening to this was how to be harmony with everyone around me??how can I make my people feel good???how can I make the lives of the people better???and I got my answer…

  • Q1: Not close enough
Q2: Keeping my bad habit of watching youtube 4hrs a day on average leading to a lack of productivity.
Q3: I need to place my computer somewhere where it is hard to reach such that i dont feel bothered in using it for youtube.
Q4: I would have made more improvement in my academic results as well as developing a disciplined lifestyle.
Q5: I want to remember it as a year where i made necessary changes, and a year i can say, ” I lived it to the max, to the fullest”
Bonus question: Currently, i spend about 30 minutes on instagram, but i am going to delete my instagram, which will save hours of time.

  • Great video Tim! You are amazing! Your videos help so many people out there stay focused & motivated. Keep up the good work! Big respect to you! ✊️

  • So much of modern society is centered around giving you easy dopamine and taking it away. It makes it hard to internalize the idea of working with no short term reward for it to compound later. The constant stream of doom and gloom in the media makes it doubly so.

  • I have decided to quit my job and start something new entirely. Is this my right decision? This thing has kept me anxious for past 2 yrs. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Just started watching some of your videos today, they’re amazing! Thank you so much for what you do, and happy new year. (subscribed!)

  • Did you develop this system independently or are you taking ideas from somewhere else? I know that is somewhat of a false dichotomy, it would be nearly impossible not to do both to some degree, but what I really want to know is if you are borrowing heavily from somewhere else, where is that somewhere else?

  • All I want is to get a job. How can I accomplish that? I graduated as a mechanical engineer, but somehow I can’t get to be hired anywhere, mostly, i believe, for my lack of professional experience. But how am I supposed to get experience if nobody hires me?

  • Thank you so much. I will definitely be keeping this piece of paper and read over it on a daily basis to stay motivated. 2017 will be my year.

  • Ok, first problem. Extremely good friends that grew up together and had similar hobbies, etc. Entirely unrealistic in my experience. Also, both of them had the werewithal to start businesses (plural) whereas most people do not have the wherewithal to start even one business. Already this person is super privileged and has had immensely more opportunity than most people, so how are you supposed to relate his problem to regular people? Even the basic sets of choices you start out with presuppose an enormous number of things, like assuming you have good nutritional education, assuming you have “business books” to read, that they are useful, and pertinent to anything you want to do with your life, that videogames are utterly without merit, that you have friends to hang out with to begin with. Also notably, “making a healthy meal” and “spending quality time with friends” are much more expensive propositions in terms of time and personal energy. To be sure, there are obvious benefits to those as well, but your video kind of just makes the assumption that everyone is starting from some even point, which is radically untrue. Even the neutral point you set this hypothetical person at is fundamentally much better off than a lot of people have. Even having choices is a luxury. Having energy necessary to make “good choices” is a luxury. While the examples you give have somewhat obvious “correct” answers, the vast majority of choices do not, even when they are meaningfully present.

If no “good” choice is available, or good path evident, you cannot choose it.

  • I watch your videos all the time and you never stop to amaze me. Please let us all know when you will be visiting different states, to include Florida (Orlando):) would love to just sit, talk and have great conversations. Happy New Year…

  • Mmm, candy bar. lol I want one, but I don’t want to have to go to the store. I’ve been eating cashews and cereal instead just to avoid going to the store.

  • How about the decisions which we think is beneficial but is not.. And only after a long time we know it was a mistake. Or we never know.

  • Dear Better Than Yesterday! I saw some of your videos, and for example this was really well and very motivational, so congratulations! By the way, I also know some very motivational things, and I read very more about sleepings. I wabt to ask if you have really a facebook, can I write somethings to only you somewhere? Sorry, because my english, but I work on it. Thanks if you red this, and survived my english, and thanks if you give me answer! Good luck, for another great videos like this!

  • “you probably won’t see the effects today, maybe not tomorrow” not if you drank 5 gallons of beer today but this seriously was an eye opener thank you, i have changed my daily breakfast from a chocolate bar and a banana [cancel each other out] to a fistful of grapes and a banana (moving forward)

  • 1) Competent
    2) Make 10k in a month
    3) Learn web design and get a well paying job.
    4) What I think I need to do. (right now that would be learn web design then find a well paying job)
    5)
    Study min. 2h a day
Get into a working mind set
    Know when to take risks
    Seek constructive critisism
Surround myself with people more successful than me
    Wake up early

  • Those are thinks that everybody knows but doesn’t want to admit. Anyway thanks for reminding me those things. Maybe I will study some English today

  • Thanks but this doesn’t work for everyone. I ate the salad and the lady on the table next to me complained. I got asked to leave the cafe’ in front of my new boss and I’m still on trial.

  • I started in my New Years resolution to “Follow your heart and take action” to break my cycle of procrastination and anxiety and already I got a job I’m starting tomorrow, got a date with my crush I’ve been delaying a call to for 4 months, and booked a snowboarding trip with some old friends I haven’t seen in years!
Following your advice has helped me mature and grow more in a week than I have in a year and was probably the best thing that happened to me!

    Thank you so very much!

  • I see your point. I remember eating nachos almost daily because I only had an hour of time in my day when I wasn’t working or sleeping, but I ate less, was exercising a lot at work, and sleeping a healthy amount. I ended up losing 20 pounds in half a year from making 2 more good decisions than bad ones.

  • I wanted to be same as you! To Inspire and motivate people! Wishing you the best year to come Sir Tim! So much fan of yours and hope to attend your training personally one day-Crossed fingers

  • Love the verse and quote! Also, I’m glad you mentioned something you would stop doing. All too often resolutions are about change as in incorporating more. I’d like to do less. Which will ultimately free up time for more enjoyable activities. I want to give up Facebook. It’s really a time sucker
