Also I need to force myself out in the sun more.     First 2 are adaptogens and get rid of cortisol out of your body. Cortisol makes you weak, apathetic, and depressed. It can deplete testosterone in the end. Both a and b create testosterone, c produces dopamine, which then increases testosterone.
    No offense, but author of the video is throwing blanket statements. Like eat good. What is good? What’s good for me, may not be good for you. Also too much talk about injecting testosterone. It’s misleading.
    Anyone who shoots steroids falls in completely different category. I rather see him transparent, if he does inject, then speak up. Otherwise, what is this “information”?

  • Its not that Soy directly decreases Testosterone…its that it increases Estrogen in the body. Estrogen dominance causes the body to go through a vicious cycle where high estrogen leads to more body fat, more body fat leads to increases in estrogen, and so on, which then increases cortisol levels. High levels of cortisol do directly decrease testosterone levels and promote fat storage.
    Also when there is high estrogen in the body, free testosterone has trouble binding to androgen receptors which are points where testosterone can do its job, such as building muscle and improving mood, among many other functions.
    High fat, estrogen, and cortisol also increase the activity of something called aromatase which converts testosterone into estrogen making that vicious cycle of fat-estrogen-cortisol even more disastrous.
