  • Great tips. Love tha large cup you were sipping tea from in your kitchen; a large rounded piece of pottery is what it resembles. Will you share the brand and where you purchased it? Thank you.

  • I sleep 10 hours a day xD
The past three to four days I kinda had the same sleep schedule like a normal human I think.
I don’t know how you guys can keep that up xD
I wake up 8-12 am but I still only go to bed when it’s 3 or 5 am xD

  • Omg Lisa you are amazing!! My stress levels have significantly decreased just by watching your videos!!!! So grateful to have found your channel!!!!

  • Definitely sharing this wonderful, light yet impactful video to my family and friends:) God bless you always! You are such a great source of encouragement

  • For those of you who don’t want to watch the whole video:
    1. wake up before responsibilities
    2. take caffeine breaks
    3. mask often
    4. tongue scrape
    5. stimulate scalp
    6. be alone
    7. don’t have multiples
    8. use turmeric daily
    9. ginger for detox
    10. bathe for healing

  • Just found this channel and have just started my health journey. And now I have been here watching like 6 videos and just love your content So now you got a new subscriber

  • @sarah…

Love your videos sooo much. Minimalism is so beautiful. I love the first one… Wake up BEFORE responsibilities

But please guide if we can take green tea daily? From your experience, did you find green tea helpful for acne???

Please also make a video on skin care of body, dealing with cellulite by home remedies… And how you lose post partum weight… Sorry for so many questions but I have finally found you.. I love your positive vibes

  • So surprised you never mentioned prayer and attending church services as part of a healthy life. Many studies have shown church-attending people and people who pray have better health and live longer!

  • Did you ever call Lenscrafters in Los Angeles when you came to visit? I could’ve sworn one of the customers that called me once sounds JUST like you and she was Canadian too

  • Hii I’m Atlanta born and raised! I’m so happy I just discovered your channel. I love what you’re doing and these videos are so informative and helpful! Thank you for doing what you do ❤️

  • I ate advocado with hummus and asparagus for breakfast this morning. I always tell people you don’t have to eat cereal or toast or eggs for breakfast. I sometimes even eat leftovers from dinner for breakfast like I will use chicken and make a sandwich for breakfast. I get griped at by people a lot because I don’t answer my phone. I don’t stay attached to my phone all day and night.

  • In Indian food, we use turmeric and ginger everyday. Scrapting tongue is also part of daily routine. We use tongue cleaner. Nice tips.

  • Did anyone else notice the psychological pattern in the videos? This one had different, and other ones I have watched also having a different style of creation as a whole.

  • I’ve watched a couple of your videos, your a breath of fresh air, can’t wait to pour myself a herbal tea and watch some more! THANKYOU so much for sharing your lifestyle! Linda, Alicante, Spain

  • I am so glad I found you on here. Just got diagnosed with Hashimotos and I am looking for some simple recipes that I can make at home. Thank you for sharing!

  • One of your best videos yet.
I do most of these things and can vouch for the cumulative effects. Your meal prep plans are better than mine, I need to watch those videos again for more insight. I had to laugh when I saw you sauté the spinach and tomatoes for your eggs, mine is exactly the same only I also add mushrooms and usually cilantro. Love having veggies with my eggs in the morning!
One thing I have discovered that has made me feel so much better is intermittent fasting. I have IBS and there is nothing else that has ever worked quite as well as not eating for a minimum of 12 hours usually 14 to 16 hours every day. I am different than most people in my practice of intermittent fasting in that I don’t eat dinner, most people skip breakfast but I can’t handle that
I keep going along learning more about myself and what works for me, and I also try to not be shocked by learning what worked last year or two years ago, is no longer working. It happens, I am 55 years old so it’s that time of life.

I can see I need to spend some quality time perusing your channel with a notebook thanks for a great video.

  • Snacking on anything including light and healthy choices between meals can add weight or prevent from reaching fitness goals by keeping insulin up. Allowing time for full digestion between meals and before bed helps jack metabolism. I am active athletic, toned, and eat very clean and wholesome, by eating this way I jacked my metabolism and burned the 10 extra pounds I’d carried 12 years.

  • I had a herniated disk that had me in a bad place for three months and your videos was something that helped me heal…
    Thank you so much!

  • It’s interesting you say that eating meals at different than ‘normal’ times is looked upon strangely. I sometimes eat oats and fresh fruit for lunch after fasting from the previous night. When one of my friends saw what I was eating one day she said “you can’t eat that for lunch”. It showed me how used to conforming we are.

  • If you don’t mind me asking, what other autoimmune diseases do you have? I have severe fibromyalgia, hashimotos hypothyroidism, & chronic fatigue syndrome myself

  • HEY GUYS! Thank you for watching:) Hope you find this helpful! I move this week so things have been a little crazy but stay tuned for some fun videos! Love you guys

  • Good content but a couple of things I find unpleasant about this Channel: the opening: “Hola muchachos” and the tons of sentences ending with an interrogative intonation.

  • •SAVE TIME
2:14 Wake up early and have a routine
    3:31 have a caffeine break
    5:00 use face mask often
    5:41 scrape your tongue
    6:17 stimulate hair
    6:52 have some alone time
    7:41 use turmeric daily
    8:03 detox ginger
    1:24 take bath daily
    Thanks

  • Hello. Hopefully, you will see this. I am a new subscriber, SoCal-Orange County girl, and you have a lot of really good, helpful videos that I look forward to exploring. Do you have any that discuss diet and lifestyle for those with fibromyalgia? To start off, I am especially interested in those that talk about this or similar autoimmune conditions or diseases. Thank you so much.

  • I want to appreciate Dr. Isah Johnson for using his herbal medicine to cure my wife fibroid virus, since 3years ago my wife have been having this fibroid disease and it have been giving my wife challenges, we were so perplexed cause my wife have taken several drugs to be cure but every of our effort was in-vain, a fateful morning i was browsing through the internet then i saw several testimonies about Dr. Isah Johnson curing people of their fibroid disease immediately i contacted Dr. Isah Johnson i  told him about my wife troubles and he told me that my wife must be cure from this fibroid, so he prepare a herbal medicine for my wife which she use for 3 weeks and everything was like a dream for my wife. why don’t you contact him today and be free from your diseases and get  your heart desires  on email,  [email protected] gmail.com or whatsapp him on +23465613964: he also has the cure to the following sickness:1. CANCER 2. HERPES 1 AND 2 3. HIV AIDS 4. FIBROID…..5. HPV

  • 1 eat healthy
    2 be positive
    3 do exercise
4 avoid doing excessive masturbation (if u can avoid it at all cost)
5 do intermitent fasting basing on ur activities
6 avoid non veg if u can

  • if you’re always tired in the morning, maybe try getting up around the same time every day. you will probably not have as much time before your responsibilities each day, but some extra energy is always welcome too, right?

  • Me watching this while usually(not rn, I don’t have school because of the pandemic) having at the most 1h/day of free time for myself like:️️ *how am I supposed to do that? So that’s what a healthy and balanced life without school could look like? * like rn I almost can do everything in this list and I enjoy it sooooo much words can’t describe it but usually, in normal life I wouldn’t be able to do any of that

  • Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for your video! I’ve been really enjoying your videos and following your website! There’s been a popular health trend where people have been consuming apple cider vinegar daily as a way to lose weight and to become healthier. What are your thoughts on this? Is it safe?

  • Your videos are wonderful. I live in the middle of nowhere and eating organic healthy foods can be a challenge. But I keep trying to improve our diet.

  • If your goal is to build a great body, you will cover hydration, eating, sleeping, planning and ofcourse physical exercise. Working out is the best since you also gets lots of dopamin afterwards so you can counter depression and anxiety, and you will look great too!:D

  • I’d recommend getting blue light glasses if you like using your device a lot. Blue Light is what keeps you awake and the glasses will filter it out, so you won’t have to worry about using your smartphone at night!

  • I admire you so much! You have such a sophisticated demeanor about you! Thank you for all the videos you post here, they are all so helpful, especially to a busy medical student!:)

  • Hi beautiful! Can you talk more about over exercising + under eating and the effects on cortisol and adrenals?!? PLEASE. You have been so helpful on my journey to recover my body… I stressed my body so much that no matter what I did I couldn’t lose the weight. Now I started to follow a more holistic lifestyle and I’m trying to cure my body before I think of loosing weight…

  • I have the unhealthy habbit of smoking. I don’t want to stop doing it, cause I like to, but the problem is that I realised that lately I’ve been smoking mindlessly. I started lighting up cigarettes even if I didn’t want one. At the end of the day this makes me feel dehydrated no matter how much water I drink, affects my sleep quality and makes me anxious. Therefore, I put a sticky note on my pack of cigarettes that asks if I really want to smoke. And it’s better. Try smoking intentional cigarettes. It will improve your overall well being and health. If you are a smoker and don’t want to quit smoking, at least try to smoke just as much as you want, not mindlessly. Let that smoke be a plesure, not a need. Thank you for reading:) have a nice day!

  • I am sorry I am not agree that you can eat anything anytime of the day. Well, we can but the question is should we? I am not a hater I love your work and I watch you videos.

  • I just combine entertainment and exercise by making my computer seat a pedal bike….. If only my leg and wrist wasn’t hurt right now.

  • I’ve never watched your videos before, and don’t subscribe to many channels, but you got a new subscriber when I saw you read your Bible. Best self care tip EVER.

  • You’re perfect, thanks Sarah. Some recomm’s: eating turmeric more beneficial if put in olive oil and mix with black pepper when heat them enough, for the acne ACV will be extremely helpful.

  • and last one,, if male, don’t let any female manipulate you…..let alone manipulate the living life out of you! I see it all the time! These vixens will use and dump you so fast!

  • When she said “take caffeine breaks” I was like “ugh yes, so important, my favourite part of the day is my breaks with a nice hot cup of coffee” until I realised that, that wasn’t what she mean and then I was horrified

  • Here you go! You’ve been requesting a healthy habits video for a long time. 😉 I’d love to hear in the comments below any additional healthy habits that have helped YOU on your wellness journey. And don’t forget to pop over to IG and our private FB group (linked in the video description), where we’ll continue the discussion! xo Lisa

  • Hi! I am 20 years old and about to graduate as an RN. Over the past few years of nursing school I have become so passionate about wellness and finding out the best ways to take care of our bodies. I just found this channel and I am OBSESSED! Thank you so much for sharing all of these amazing tips I plan to incorporate more in my life, as well as encourage my patients to do so as well when possible! I have already used a handful of your recipes and can’t wait to try more:)

  • Question can thinking about food spike your insulin? I love watching cooking shows and mukbongs, but they do make me hungry and crave food, even though I don’t run out and binge afterward. Or say one is intermittent fasting but always cooks breakfast for their kids and the smell makes their stomach growl. Does that physical response have a negative effect on the system? Can you address this?

  • Finally someone agrees that food is just food and you can eat it at any time of the day. My friends think I’m crazy for switching foods all day

  • There is only one thing I have never understand and never will understand: HOW CAN PEOPLE DISLIKE WATER?!
Did ya’ll drank too much sugar as a child? I only drank water and I think nothing satisfies your thirst other than water. I could drink liters of soda, sweet tea or whatever and would still feel thirsty and even weirder. Water is like… your best friend. Of course it’s boring, thats what it’s supposed to be. It’s here to keep you alive and healthy and these things mostly aren’t that exciting. Never heard of anyone who had joy when they needed to take a sh*t or pee well maybe some kinky mofos but in general it is a boring task that you need to do so you can stay alive, it’s as natural as breathing and with water it’s the same.

  • I’ve been watching video from your channel a lot these past few days. Thank you for sharing your celiac disease story with us, and helpful recipes, products, and lifestyle tip. I’m in my late 20s, experiencing physical changes, and trying to implement better sleep and simple lifestyle changes so that I can live well and be healthy. I don’t know if you will read this, but I have two questions I’d like to ask you:

    1. When you pick fresh herbs from your patio, do you rinse your herbs before adding them to the desired recipe? Should we rinse our herbs, or are they safe to use straight from the garden?
    2. What kind of drone was that you showed in your kitchen at the end of your video What I Eat In A Day??

  • I don’t know why but i always thought you were based out of Canada but then i heard you mention OC so hello from Irvine, neighbor!

  • IKR! Reading a cookbook is fun. I hate to cook, but I love reading cookbooks. I used to have quite a collection but I moved twice in three years and now I don’t have any idea where they are.

  • Helpful video….I like this channel alot….I not only learn things or am made aware of things I forget, but I’m engaged by the animations….I love the animated style in this particular video, and I like how no 2 videos seem to use the same artist lol…Never know what I’m gunna see next! ❤️

  • Celery in a jar in the fridge! Love that!! Super handy, healthy, and takes up less space in the fridge than a typical flat container! Definitely on my to-implement list!! I could do carrots that way too!:)

  • Self compassion:3 sometimes I’m rude with myself in a way I wouldn’t be with other people and I know that this behavior is not taking me anywhere. So I’m gonna change it, thank you for encourage me, God bless you, guys

  • I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart to your team. This channel has been so amazing to me to understand others and myself better, also the narration and your animation are amazing. Thank you so much again.

  • Hi Sarah, love watching your raw and unique channel! My only concern is that you’re advertising more water consumption, not to be offensive here, just I come from South Africa and we suffered from a drought last year which really showed me how we as humans are really abusing the amount of water we intake even for the simplest things. Again it’s a breath of fresh air to watch your Channel and hope you’re staying safe!

  • Dr, I have found the POWER OF INTERMITTENT FASTING TO BE WORKING AND EFFECTIVE FOR ME. I Practice INTERMITTENT FAST 5 days week! • Lisa, thank you so much for your amazing tuition, you are a real great motivator. You have really inspired me to get all the more organised within the kitchen, plan, plan, plan and exercising too. You have lots of delicious recipe ideas, it’s almost taken the thought process out of planning. Many thanks, big hugs & lots of love xx

  • I literraly LOVE your content. That’s the first time for me that I give a youtube video a thumb up and a comment but it’s exceptionnal how I can’t stop listening your videos. You’re awesome, Congrats!!

  • Heyy, loved the video but the one bath a day freaked me out a little baths waste SO much more water than quick showers and although the difference doesn’t seem that much when you take one daily for years it’s harmful for the environment.

  • Calling me out on the binge watching when it’s 2am rn, is not nice. But yeah, I know I need to go to sleep earlier, especially since I’ll have classes at 8:30am in just a few weeks, and in a different time zone.

  • I follow some of these habits, it’s kinda helpful on the short time for me. But on the long time I stay empty and keep bad moods. This is helpful to protect you but it’s not all a cure. It certainly need patience. 6_6″

  • I’m from Europe. Have you ever heard of a kitchen appliance called a thermomix? These machines are massive here. It’s made in Germany by a company called Vorwerk. Granted it’s the price of a major appliance (about €1,200) but it’s well worth the cost for home cooking. It blends, beats, weighs and cooks and several other functions. It can make mayonnaise and perfect bread dough amd well as ice cream. It also steams. I cook fresh soup almost daily in it. There are a million recipes online in various languages but a lot of English ones mostly from Australia. I’ve used one for well over 15 years and have mostly gotten rid of all my other kitchen appliances. As far as I’m concerned, it is my number one helper for home cooking.

  • What a great video packed with so much good information. Will you please let me know where you got those large cups you drink tea out of. They look like soneone who makes pottery made them. Please share.

  • yo, i love your vids + your message. but maybe don’t say hola at the beginning of everyone of your vids.. a little bit of a weird appropriation vibe. just a heads up.

  • Question… That lovely breakfast latte you made. Where do you get your best root blend & please drop me the other ingredients you put in there. I definitely need to cut down my coffee consumption & that sounded really good. ❤️ Thank you for all that you do.

  • Being in lockdown is such a great way to start making new healthy habits!! I’m hoping to get back into my morning workout routine, remember to take my vitamins and drink mint or green tea everyday and just how long I need in the morning for healthy habits as well as reading everyday and looking at materials around my studies!!!!

  • Loved your video! So many gr8 tips. However I’ve read tumeric shouldn’t be consumed regularly by older women as it may mess with hormones (increasing the level of testosterone) and cause breast cancer. Just a warning to everybody out there… Herbs are powerful and should be consumed very carefully.

  • Have a consistent sleep schedule they say… never have they worked a job with constant shift changes…. yeah….. that’s not feasible. 7AM opening shift right after closing at 11PM
