Because in any energy transformation there are losses. We also can’t use low quality energy as easily as high quality energy. We have limited amounts of high quality energy. If we reduce the energy we use, either by not using energy consuming devices or using more efficient ones then we save money, and sources of high quality energy for later.

Nuclear energy encompasses both fission & fussion. We have roughly enough fission material for the next 80 years with the current amount of reactors. fussion is a whole other story and still in the works. There is enough fussion material for the next several millenias, the energy is also completely clean. So to just wave off nuclear energy in general is plain ignorance.

That’s a great shot in the front. I agree that they should be farther from homes. But home wind turbines don’t make noise like this and don’t cast shadows so far. Home wind and solar electric systems don’t cause all the problems that these large turbines do. Besides, what economic benefit is it to buy your wind and solar power from a utility. There are great systems for home use. We have installed these systems all over the US, Canada and Europe. Home Wind/Solar is here now.

I think that thing about feeling heat when you clap is exagerated. Based on some basic calculations you would only create about 10 joules of energy total per clap, and a lot of that is sound so the heat change would be like 0.1C. Also if I slowly put my hands together it still feels just as warm.
Last month my utility bill was $300. It seemed ridiculous to me that it would reach this high. Something was needed. Because in any energy transformation there are losses. We also can’t use low quality energy as easily as high quality energy. We have limited amounts of high quality energy. If we reduce the energy we use, either by not using energy consuming devices or using more efficient ones then we save money, and sources of high quality energy for later.

Nuclear energy encompasses both fission & fussion. We have roughly enough fission material for the next 80 years with the current amount of reactors. fussion is a whole other story and still in the works. There is enough fussion material for the next several millenias, the energy is also completely clean. So to just wave off nuclear energy in general is plain ignorance.

Why would you want to save energy? (other than for money) You can’t run out of energy so… It is 100% impossible to run out of energy. So what’s the point? Other than the fact that we are so outdated that we still use coal etc and not nuclear energy so it is hurting our O3 later.

Get rid of your big house with the energy wasteful duct work leaks heat, and get rid of your heat pump. And get yourself a small house that doesnt need duct work, and you wont need a heat pump that would never show a cost benefit in a small house. So you have saved money on insurance, taxes, repairs, duct work, and a heat pump. Houses used to be an investment. Now home ownership is a loser. Get yourself a shack, and instead of paying interest. With the money you save, bank it and gain interest.

That’s a great shot in the front. I agree that they should be farther from homes. But home wind turbines don’t make noise like this and don’t cast shadows so far. Home wind and solar electric systems don’t cause all the problems that these large turbines do. Besides, what economic benefit is it to buy your wind and solar power from a utility. There are great systems for home use. We have installed these systems all over the US, Canada and Europe. Home Wind/Solar is here now.
ok so has anybody took the time to look at street lights they have to be at least 250-500w and there on from the time it gets dark to it starts to get light and the question is why our cars have headlights after 12:00 they should go to half power or just off

I think that thing about feeling heat when you clap is exagerated. Based on some basic calculations you would only create about 10 joules of energy total per clap, and a lot of that is sound so the heat change would be like 0.1C. Also if I slowly put my hands together it still feels just as warm.
Last month my utility bill was $300. It seemed ridiculous to me that it would reach this high. Something was needed.
