  • If you’ve ever worked a real job you’d know spring water bottled in glass is the sweetest substance in the world. It’s sweet because your body craves it. Of course if you don’t work a real job and you’re not sweating your balls off water can be off putting even if it’s clean natural water. Water is incredibly refreshing. Aajonus was right about many things but his view water is a solvent therefore it can’t hydrate is sheer nonsense. Juice and milk don’t have water is a different form. It’s still h2o. The only difference is they might have electrolytes. You can get electrolytes from food.

  • My body can’t consume fruits so i trust my body. If i feel thirsty i drink water, If i feel hungry i eat. It has worked for me. Sadhguru and his over analyzing doesn’t get anywhere.   • Hmm, INTERESTING!..despite some of the neg comments below, i think you’re onto something. Its TRUE, your hands feel dryer after washing AND personally i can see in my pee after drinking a lot of water & then slow up a bit on it, my pee indicates i’m dehydrated!!! Wtf? So, you could be correct.

    I do believe the recommended amount of water to drink is TO MUCH. Fresh water is to hard to come about “naturally” (so imagine a living environment free of anything man made). This is how we evolved for 1000’s of years. We were never meant to have constant fresh water on hand.

    So i DO feel more hydrated after consuming fruit & veg than drinking water, HOWEVER, i believe (proper) salt is necessary also. I have a lot of “pink” salt and yet i never have edema or water retention.

  • if fat is hydrating it has to has something in common with glycerine cut off the fatty acids. Glycerine binds water. However he oils applied on the skin cause drying. Everyone knows it. When you have greasy skin you want to oil it rather than degrease it off with soap and water.

  • I grew up on well water and cannot abide what passes for water now. I can choke down maybe 8 ounces in extreme situations. Ill stick to my skim milk. I can easily drink 2 litres of that a day.

  • I have never liked plain water so I’ve always put lemons,blood oranges&mostly now I just get a few bottled waters a day pour out some water n2 a jug for latr and put 100%Cranberry Juice n2 it mmm its so good.I have urinary. Track and kidney problems so its also beneficial to my body in 2 ways.

  • If you find it hard to enjoy plain ole water, I recommend getting a job that is labor intensive and is out in the hot sun. I used to not be a big fan of water, but once i started working on a farm in the hot sun i became addicted (not literally) to water, i almost enjoy it better than pop, almost.
