  • Thank you for this great Turmeric tea! I first tried it for a cold, but now I am hooked on it for the inflammatory boost it is giving me for my achy joints. Fresh turmeric is awesome in it.

    One tip to share is that I made a bunch of little baggies for the freezer of chopped turmeric, ginger, lemon peal, cracked pepper and cayenne, along with ice cubes of lemon juice. Now I just pull out a bag, add water, bring it to a simmer, then throw in a lemon ice cube and honey, and it is ready to drink!

  • Is it ok to freeze turmeric? Whole Foods is a bit out of my way. I want to buy a bunch and store them in a freezer if you think that is ok.

  • I’ve already made 2 batches in the past 2 weeks and it’s really helped me recover from my cold quickly! I make it without the cayenne pepper just because I can’t handle spicy things very well and it works great!

  • I use to HATE drinking any type of tea. Even if I was sick I would refuse to drink it… until one day I had a cold that WOULD NOT go away with anything. I have been making this tea for a few months now and it tastes just freaking amazing and it does wonders. Actually, I just made a double portion of it because even my parents are loving it!
