  • I would add it is important to restore your ability to burn fat as ketones to properly fuel your brain as prevention. If you are a 100% glucose burner from childhood your brain is starving and it will become critical when you develop insulin resistance. AD is the brain shutting down in self preservation from starvation.

By age of 60 or 70 they look like 100 years old with no purpose in life.

    Contrary to myth, retired people get enough brain exercise, just from everything that we have to keep track of.

    Retirees don’t watch television and vegetate, all day.

    As a matter of necessity; all retirees had better being paying attention to their investments, insurance policies, their will, their choice of retirement destination, downsizing their possessions and ridding their homes of clutter, etc.

    I have never been so busy with responsibility in my life, as I have been, since I retired. My mind is more active, in retirement, than it was during my working years.

    Any retiree who needs “brain exercise” would do well to master all the investment advice at a brokerage website, like Fidelity Investments, than to be squandering time playing brain games at her so-called “anti-aging” website.

Do you have any idea how expensive good quality fish oil and ginko is. And if you’re buying it for a family of four, forget it. It’s cheaper to take anti-depressants.     1) socialise more (talk to friends new people avoid negativity )
    2) keep moving (exercise, play a sport, strength train etc)
    3) learn something new( take a class)
    4) eat plants ( have more vegetables and fruits in food)

    6) play brain engaging games ( like chess, puzzle, online brain game )
    7) protect your head (while riding cycle, bike and anywhere in general)
    8) manage stress (meditate )
    9) keep your blood pressure healthy (manage above points )
    10) read a book ( Atleast 5 pages a day thoroughly)
    11) don’t smoke (if you do minimize it )
