  • Well I have to thank u again.. In a week I was able to do a plank the very first time in my life. I started to follow u and strengthen my core. 3 secs. 8secs 13 secs. And now 18secs hold in a plank position. thank u

  • Dear Cassey,

You are the first fitness guru who I followed and believed here on youtube. It’s already been 4 years. Wow! I have always been in awe of how strong you are. When I need to be strong, or need some toning, I would go straight to your videos. You are awesome, Cassey! Thank you!

    Much love,
    Mimi

  • Holly, you are a total NINJA!

This will help with my overemphasis or abject neglect of strength training.

I have been running, and only running, which has created imbalances in my 51 Y.O. body.

Thanks for bringing an approachable solution, at a time when I really, really, need it.

  • Thanks for sharing plz share some more workouts for flat belly as my belly got fat after my gall bladder polyp removal plz help me out it’s look odd as my weight is50 kg height 5.3 age41 mother of three daily do walk plus household works plz help out

  • Wow I don’t understand why You feel like that, i mean You are so perfect and I love your videos, but let me tel You this in My case I feel No sexy and ugly because I don’t like My arms they are so big and fat so thats the part in my body that i don’t like and the think is the in My case I don’t care about My belly even if is Big But My arms I hate it

  • Hey big sis, love from India, with a bit chubby belly it is said “KHATE PITE GHR KI” which means foodie people n thats y i love my little chubby belly i love u so much u r such a motivation for me. I tried workout so many times but never stayed committed but becoz of u i do workout n feel so better so amazing THANKYOU so much ❤

  • This is my 3rd time doing this challenge. I absolutely love it. and I love how vulnerable and open you are with us! Love you Cassey!

  • For being all about lean and functional, this video sure has a lot of fat that should’ve been trimmed lol/smh Looking forward to trying this sequence, tho!

  • This is just superb, I have been researching “abs workouts for women at home” for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried Melubras Physique Patenier (do a google search )? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got great success with it.

  • When doing the crunches and the oblique crunches I can really feel it in my neck as well. Am I supposed to, are my neck muscles just really weak or am I doing something wrong?

Also, whilst doing the crunches I definitely feel it in my muscles, but I don’t feel anything during the marches. Is there a type of exercise for the same area that’s a bit more intense that I could replace the marches with when doing this?

  • when you said in the beginning “we are all about lean and functional body and not bout getting big” instantly clicked with me. The purpose of going to the gym should be to get stronger in a way you could use it, not just for aesthetically good looking purposes.

  • Thank you for sharing! And it isn’t really about how our bodies look, but what they are able to do. I have a flat belly and one can see some muscles, but I would never ever be able to do the 100 abs challenge where I am at now. I would probably not even be able to do one video of the challenge without dying throughout. Many of us are wired to only trust and respect others when someone is showing off or things are visible in a certain way. It’s time to be less superficial and start to look behind facades.

  • You sound like one of those scam commercials… “To get rich, all you have to do is this. Again log into this website to increase your wealth tremendously. Again to get rich, and if you do this, you’ll have all the wrath in the world. Log into this website to do this to become rich. That’s right, long into this website to have more time with your family and live the best. So login to this website to become wealthy. Don’t wait to find out how to become independently wealthy. Listen to our proven method and don’t take it from me just listen to our students who became unbelievably rich by doing just this one thing.
I was sceptical about doing this, but now I’m rich and have to only work 1 day a week and then I spend all day driving around in my sports car and with my family. All I did was log into this website.”

BLAH BLAH BULL SHIT! Stupid Ego Americans! Dumbass’

  • sitting up from the ground isn’t a functional movement?
have you ever worked on a car where you have to sit up after sliding out from under the car?
did you ever lay on your back at the beach and sit up?
of course sit ups/crunches are functional. functional is entirely dependent on your own personal circumstances

  • Thank you so much for sharing your insecurity, but also the best part about this is you can progress. You seem like a very positive person, no sweat you got this

  • Thank you for making this video. It is great for someone like me, a total beginner. I wondered if I was doing it wrong at first because I didn’t feel any stiffness. The next morning I knew I had done it right as the stiffness was all in the right places.

  • I’m a small person and people say I’m thin but when I take off my shirt I’m not proud of my body. Is there any other workouts I should try so I can get that “bikini body”. I am a beginner. I am looking at prom dresses and I would like to feel and look beautiful before it. Prom is a couple months away. Rachel Junior in High School

  • Have you tried extended push-ups? They are done with you hands and arms out,as far as you can get them, in front of you. It seems to work the abs and core really well for me.

  • Hello buddy thank u for this exercises
I have one question about this session?
I want to do this kind of training for my son he is 9 years old exept weight in second exercise
I would like to ask u how often to do training like this a week?and do a session like this separate or together with a football training??
    Thank u in advance

  • Another very useful video Jack!I really learned a lot from you since I follow you!
I see bright future for you!Keep going like that train hard be constant be positive and I am sure you will achieve a lot!
I wish you all the best! And of course waiting for the next video!
    Take care mate!

  • Cassie you are beautiful. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing your story with us. I’ve had 3 children & have the belly pooch and I can totally relate to everything you’re expressing. Sometimes hard to find clothes that fit. Chin up girl. You are a daily inspiration to me!

  • What’s your weight and height. And assuming you are smaller which I am as well how do you perform so well against larger players like playing up age groups

  • I do upward of 500 ab exercises per day. Do that everyday for a month and you’ll have a 6 pack by then. Also important to put in some cardio. Abs LOVE I repeat LOVE running. Other exercises for lower body use abs too.
You look amazing. ❤️ keep up the good work ❤️❤️

  • Another great video, thanks for all the information! Should we still do a warmup between this and the run, or does this routine provide good warmup for the run?

  • Hi Taren, just wanted to make a late comment, and thank you for this great core workout. I had been doing the workout for a few weeks, then broke my wrist mountain biking. About a week after surgery I started doing the workout one armed and modified it a bit, but have really noticed improvement in core strength. Thanks again, really like your channel, I am a cyclist but find many great training tips on your channel.

  • Love these core building sessions and the sweat and pain they bring with it. It’s 37*C in Dubai already so gona be a good sweat whilst I finally start to burn all this lock down food and carbs that’s quickly piling up. Thank you for the free course which will deff come in handy too. Hope you, NTK and your loved ones are keeping healthy and safe. Happy Easter to all Trainiacs!!

  • Seriously, I know it might be annoying not seeing the “perfect” abs that you imagine. But i have the SAME problem. Unless i am eating the most PERFECT diet and working out 24/7 ill see like 75% of my abs. So all that work just to not even see everything I want, and to not even be happy while doing it? PLUS resenting yourself through all of it? It just doesn’t sound right, and it’s so so comforting that someone I admire and look up to and has succeeded TREMENDOUSLY in this career, is understanding the same things. LOVE YOU

  • Yuew guys i’m 22years old, I’m so talented and i’m training like everyday but i don’t play with any team or somthin like that, do you think that i can get a chance in this age.
I’m afraid of my age being too old

  • You guys should make a video on how much of an exercise is required to make the muscle adapt. When does a muscle stop benefiting in a work out? If you do 20 sets of chest surely after a certain point you aren’t getting any benefit and are just accumulating more lactate in the muscle.

What does the literature say on a High volume week of low volume low/medium intensity work a day? So doing like 10 nice controlled push ups a day? Or something like that, until you can get through a week and it is really easy then you up it to like 12 or 15 and repeat.

  • Omg when she started crying I wish I could give u a hug, u have helped soooooo many people around the world Cassey u are soo encouraging and lovely, never think otherwise ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

  • My face shape is my biggest insecurity. My face is naturally more round, and whenever I look in the mirror I feel like my jawline isn’t defined enough, even though I know it’s just the shape of my face. I know that I don’t need to lose weight anywhere else, so it pisses me off that my face doesn’t look thinner.

  • As a 71 year old who has done crunches forever, the improvement in overall strength, stability and lower back pain reduction has been remarkable.

  • Great video Jack! If you would give the appropriate sets and reps or the appropriate time of doing the exercises, it would be even better!

  • I have been following this routine for a week. And i felt so weak in my core! My last pavement run.. My lower back was screaming… Well today was my long run! I did this right before the run.. My back and core felt stronger! Thank you so much for this valuable video!

  • Thanks a lot! Could you do a follow-up on the advanced versions like how to get to “side to side rolls with landing on all fours”? It looks like I dance:-) Wanna do that too!!!! The same with the third exercise (“Back crawls”). Somehow I’m able to move backwards but not forth……??

  • Have you seen athlean x video’s on the plank. I guess it’s just the basic version and not these football specific variations but he really doesn’t like them. Wondering what you ?

  • Cassey we love you.. And you are a beautiful trainer.. And most important.. You have this positive vibe.. It’s really hard to see you cry sis.. I love you a lot.. ❤❤❤

  • This would be really helpful if you did it as a real time work out we could do along with you. As an information video I guess we’re supposed to write these down, try to remember what they are, and time it out ourselves more efficient to just follow along.

  • Crunches are helpful and possibly the only exercise available with a machine.. Those who feel that they don’t feel motivated without a machine they can do a mixture of these 2 types to get a best result as I have got

Being a professor at university I get only 20min per morning and running and core exercises will make you happy

  • Hey Tapp brothers I am 15 and progressing in parkour I can climb walls but not rooftops. Please send me some tips and if possible make a video

  • Just wondering I haven’t practice any martial art or Tae Kwon do Oh Do Kwan for over 20 years. Now my health levels are poorly, I have a good blood pressure 126 over 88 last checked average not bad for my age 49, I do sit on my backside quiet a bit well only 8 hours a day not court sleep time. Not too fat 68.5 kgs little tummy fat around the weight, height 155 cm tall. I am give you a rough idea of my health status, slight asthma and a brain tumor that is not growing or even a live for over 20 year now. I gave up Tae Kwon do for my family as it is dangerous and I got hit in the head several times. All I like to develop is more oxygen intake for my lungs to strength and more flexibly and little more strength, With your information do you feel that I could improve a lot of these asked question?

  • I felt it working after, definitely doing these a few times a day, thank you for the clear instructions, hopefully it works well for me:)

  • Loooooong Blah Blah… ok maybe cool advises,. But doing all that in grass less hard surface ground. . Why not inside, on a plain clean surface That surely doesn’t look sensible right. You are definitely gonna get scratch bruises on your back… Tapp bros you need to TAP into the basics or else TAP out

  • Great short functional strength workout at almost 57 years of age and over 38 years of more or less active sport triathlon and weightlifting I know there is nothing more important than this…!!!
Big thanks for sharing, Your knowledge very appreciated on my side.
    May I share it?
    Stay healthy and safe

  • i’ve been watching you since i was 10 im 15 now and i also struggle on loving my belly and i would like to know how you toned your arms i’m on day 4 on the 100 ab challenge and i’m very excited i love you so much

  • Great video Jack! Can you please tell us how many reps and sets do we have to do? Is 3 sets of 8-10 reps alright for this ab/core workout?
    Cheers!

  • Bro please, i don’t wanna see your face no more… Every GOD DAMN time I click on some video an ad starts with your gingerbread of a head waving your hands at me and I can’t stand it anymore. I have to unsub you guys or something… I am sorry… so annoying…

  • I’ve started doing your workouts for a while and I’m watching this a year later. Honestly you’ve made the best transformation and you are beautiful the way you are, this is inspiring me to do the same. THANK YOU CASSEY!!! ☺️

  • Girl you are seriously perfect god made you and god does not make mistakes. U should be proud of yourself and not ashamed. I know what u go through I am doing this with you. I’ve been bullied bc I’m tall and fat u are so skinny and me I’m fat but it’s ok I’m working on myself. Be proud of yourself not ashamed and don’t listen to other people love you girl!!!

  • My wrists are too weak to do those…or any other type of a plank or push up. They just hurt. Any advise?
    Oh…and those shoulders…

  • I tried this and my chin/throat hurts. Can you please tell me what i’m doing wrong? And I can barely lift my shoulder blades up too…

  • Good stuff bro! I’m a pro footballer in the J-League (Japan) and just started a channel. I’m from Australia and hoping to help all aspiring footballers out there. Aiming to play in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics next year so come follow my journey for anyone interested. Thanks for the support in advance

  • Theses exercises really simulate movements we do in a game. I remember when my winger got the ball and I was doing russian twists on the midfield.

  • I cried when you cried…..I’ve felt the same always with my body…..How much ever hard I workout….Still I don’t physically Look Like I can…….And I workout just to look like I was….or to look different….But I dont love myself or the way I Look….I could relate to you and Even I have to find a Way to love and appreciate myself for my Strengths. Thank You Soo much for sharing it Cassey!! <3 U

  • this is why I love you. you represent the beauty of embracing yourself and working out to be happy and strong, something that I did not really understand until I started working out with you. thank you Cassey, I’m really grateful.

  • I started crying when you started talking about your lower stomach… Ive always been so ashamed of that part of my body as well. All of my fat hangs there and it’s like no matter what I do I can’t get rid of it. It’s something I’ve always struggled with. Thank you for being so vulnerable. I’m currently on day 3 of the ab challenge and I’m loving it and you!! You’re such an incredible inspiration and I’m so glad I found your page.

  • Old enough to be Jack’s Dad but still playing five a side. Been concentrating o on core strength for about a year and has had a massive impact on my day to day life as well as my football. Will give these a go. Cheers Jack.

  • I was very insecure about my legs and middle sections. I had a side affect to some meds and got down yo a size 103. I looked disgusting. Now im finally after 4 years 140. It seems like alot for someone 5 ft 1 in. But im built like gymnast. Now im just worried about getting fat again

  • Omg with all these “give me likes” comments. Stop making excuses and just go do it. Likes have nothing to do with working out or not. It’s your choice, not someone’s decision on the internet because you want attention. Let’s be blunt. Just do it. 1.6k likes has nothing to do if you make your own decision and time to workout or not. It has nothing to do with other people. You’ll make the choice for yourself to be healthier or not. It’s personal. Sorry, but the whole comment section is begging for likes. Get to work! Lol

  • Lots of women struggle with that same patch of lower belly fat! It’s nothing to be ashamed of, it is an extra layer that your body makes to protect your uterus so that it can make sure that your reproductive system is safe and healthy enough to have babies!

  • I almost gave up on this video. The audio quality is terrible for the first 3 and a half minutes. Skip it. Just tells you why crunches dont work. After that, a FREE audible book, then at 3:30, lovely audio sound and teaching out on the grass. Go there.

  • I am most insecure about my stomach…I was a gymnast and had great abs and seeing the growth in my body fat after makes me upset.

  • Kinda stings to be 5’8″ and 130lbs and have all the excess belly skin from 100lbs ago. Hopefully some regular core exercises will at least make me feel better.

  • You look good the wey you are am insecure about my whole body and sometimes I wish I had a good body but in order to have the body you want you have to start somewhere and you have to improve.

  • Thanks Coach Holly (and Nate)! I just did this (and reviewed the running form vid) today followed by a run and it felt good, especially knowing that I took the correct steps to prepare for a run. Always good to go back to fundamental ways of running.

  • Thanks Holly, been using this workout before my runs. TRE does a great job. Sorry if this post is duplicated. Was trying to edit my earlier post.

  • When she started crying I swear I break down and my heart crushed
I was already sitting at the corner of the room crawled and under the blanket, trying to find out why am I out of the shape even tho I have lost 40kg since 2017 but still it’s not enough I am not happy anymore

  • I’m very new to this workout field, it’s been 3 days since i started working out in my whole life, what exercises do you recommend to get rid of stomach fat, and of thigh fat?

  • Ur amazing Cassey so strong love u u inspire me love youvur beautiful just the way you are love you so soooo much your strength is sooo inspiring love u don’t let ppl who r jealous bring you down keep strong Ur valid u can do it

  • Hey.. i hv been trying out all these from past few days and it ends with a burning sensation in my abdomen and thighs. So, its working. But the thing is that I want to loose some weight before getting that abs and all.. So, does all these helps in reducing weight??

  • You used to store hate comments on your lower belly that’s why it was fat. Now you don’t you shouldn’t care bout shits….you just gain weight

  • Great vid! Its very important to understand that you need overall core strength to be a great footballer. Just focusing on sit ups and crunches won’t provide the necessary stability in the core.

  • Hey everyone! The app she’s using for time is called Tabata Pro and you can download it free here, though there should also be an android version: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tabata-stopwatch-pro/id664563975

  • I’ve been trying to regain the six pack I had sophomore year of high school. Wanted to start off easy and loved the video! But do you have any tips for what foods I should eat and which to avoid? Keith Freshman in college

Him: so we are going to start easy with some crunches.
    Me:…

Me: IM DYING SOMEONE CALL 911!!!!

  • Coach HOLLY!!! I tried this warm up today before my run and it made it easier. I mainly focus on my legs when warming up but this video made a huge difference!! My posture was up right. I will continue to warm up with this video. THANK YOU COACH HOLLY!!

  • I am confused about the first one. It looks like you’re not doing anything. I want to make sure I’m doing this right because I don’t feel anything while doing this

  • loved the video!! i am a highschool soccer player and just started a channel, it would help me out alot if you guys to checked out my videos. i hope to start a journey with myself and you guys to becoming the best we can possibly be. if you like to see improvements and are always hungry to become better than the day before just like myself, then i recomend my channel. thanks guys!!

  • Absolutely love this workout way to go coach. Tried it three times before I got to the end. Even for an experienced runner it’s not an easy workout but well worth it.

  • These 10 minute follow along videos are my absolute favorite!!! Thank you! This a weekly must do and everyone can do 10 minutes!

  • Just discovered this channel, I started running a few months ago at age 40+. Definitely going to be trying this out as I run on roads mainly and I know I need to improve my core strength, not sure I’ll be able to run after it but I’ll definitely try lol.

Thanks so much for your videos!

  • i think i’m gonna do these on a tarp-covered gym mat, lying on the bare local ground is gonna get a few insects under my rash guard (or in my ears).

  • Jack can you do like a full at home workout with a timer and no equipment I know you made workout videos but a follow along one would be really helpful

  • Like always Coach Holly makes it look too easy. If i can do a MEME of Reality and Expectation i would be a good example hahahahaha. Thanks Coach Holly and The Run Experience team.

  • For the most part, I feel my abs working. Though I have a lower back pain sometimes. I know this isn’t normal, but what can I do to stop it?

  • didn’t know them by this name, but I’ve always done 2-3 sets of 10 breaths as part of warmup before any heavy squat or deadlift day. very effective, I love these

  • Is it okay for me to ask a question here? I went from neutral Asics to Saucony with support because of pronation. I had my first run in the new shoes today and I came home with sore knees. Did he sell me the wrong shoes or is it a matter of me adapting to these shoes?

    ps: Great vid!
