  • This is just superb, I have been researching “abs workouts for women at home” for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried Melubras Physique Patenier (do a google search )? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got great success with it.

  • When doing the crunches and the oblique crunches I can really feel it in my neck as well. Am I supposed to, are my neck muscles just really weak or am I doing something wrong?

    Also, whilst doing the crunches I definitely feel it in my muscles, but I don’t feel anything during the marches. Is there a type of exercise for the same area that’s a bit more intense that I could replace the marches with when doing this?

  • Thank you for sharing! And it isn’t really about how our bodies look, but what they are able to do. I have a flat belly and one can see some muscles, but I would never ever be able to do the 100 abs challenge where I am at now. I would probably not even be able to do one video of the challenge without dying throughout. Many of us are wired to only trust and respect others when someone is showing off or things are visible in a certain way. It’s time to be less superficial and start to look behind facades.

  • What’s your weight and height. And assuming you are smaller which I am as well how do you perform so well against larger players like playing up age groups

  • I do upward of 500 ab exercises per day. Do that everyday for a month and you’ll have a 6 pack by then. Also important to put in some cardio. Abs LOVE I repeat LOVE running. Other exercises for lower body use abs too.

  • Hi Taren, just wanted to make a late comment, and thank you for this great core workout. I had been doing the workout for a few weeks, then broke my wrist mountain biking. About a week after surgery I started doing the workout one armed and modified it a bit, but have really noticed improvement in core strength. Thanks again, really like your channel, I am a cyclist but find many great training tips on your channel.

  • Seriously, I know it might be annoying not seeing the “perfect” abs that you imagine. But i have the SAME problem. Unless i am eating the most PERFECT diet and working out 24/7 ill see like 75% of my abs. So all that work just to not even see everything I want, and to not even be happy while doing it? PLUS resenting yourself through all of it? It just doesn’t sound right, and it’s so so comforting that someone I admire and look up to and has succeeded TREMENDOUSLY in this career, is understanding the same things. LOVE YOU

  • You guys should make a video on how much of an exercise is required to make the muscle adapt. When does a muscle stop benefiting in a work out? If you do 20 sets of chest surely after a certain point you aren’t getting any benefit and are just accumulating more lactate in the muscle.

    What does the literature say on a High volume week of low volume low/medium intensity work a day? So doing like 10 nice controlled push ups a day? Or something like that, until you can get through a week and it is really easy then you up it to like 12 or 15 and repeat.

My face is naturally more round, and whenever I look in the mirror I feel like my jawline isn’t defined enough, even though I know it’s just the shape of my face. I know that I don’t need to lose weight anywhere else, so it pisses me off that my face doesn’t look thinner.

  • Crunches are helpful and possibly the only exercise available with a machine.. Those who feel that they don’t feel motivated without a machine they can do a mixture of these 2 types to get a best result as I have got

  • Just wondering I haven’t practice any martial art or Tae Kwon do Oh Do Kwan for over 20 years. Now my health levels are poorly, I have a good blood pressure 126 over 88 last checked average not bad for my age 49, I do sit on my backside quiet a bit well only 8 hours a day not court sleep time. Not too fat 68.5 kgs little tummy fat around the weight, height 155 cm tall. I am give you a rough idea of my health status, slight asthma and a brain tumor that is not growing or even a live for over 20 year now. I gave up Tae Kwon do for my family as it is dangerous and I got hit in the head several times. All I like to develop is more oxygen intake for my lungs to strength and more flexibly and little more strength, With your information do you feel that I could improve a lot of these asked question?

  • Lots of women struggle with that same patch of lower belly fat! It’s nothing to be ashamed of, it is an extra layer that your body makes to protect your uterus so that it can make sure that your reproductive system is safe and healthy enough to have babies!

  • I almost gave up on this video. The audio quality is terrible for the first 3 and a half minutes. Skip it. Just tells you why crunches dont work. After that, a FREE audible book, then at 3:30, lovely audio sound and teaching out on the grass. Go there.

  • Just discovered this channel, I started running a few months ago at age 40+. Definitely going to be trying this out as I run on roads mainly and I know I need to improve my core strength, not sure I’ll be able to run after it but I’ll definitely try lol.

  • I come from low to no fitness backround and am running! Am finally able to fo 4 miles without walking. Im starting to see how my body is setting a groove for me to know when to progress in distance. Still need to work on speed. You guys gave been instrumental in helping me reach my goals!   • didn’t know them by this name, but I’ve always done 2-3 sets of 10 breaths as part of warmup before any heavy squat or deadlift day. very effective, I love these

  • Is it okay for me to ask a question here? I went from neutral Asics to Saucony with support because of pronation. I had my first run in the new shoes today and I came home with sore knees. Did he sell me the wrong shoes or is it a matter of me adapting to these shoes?
