It’s been 10 years since Apple launched the iPod, and with it, an entirely new way to listen to music. People can now carry their entire music collection in their pocket, and with sites like Last.fm and Spotify, the songs they listen to can be posted instantly to the social networking sites of their choosing. So I put together a playlist on Spotify called “STAIRS” – these are 25 of the songs that get my adrenaline pumping so I can actually get in the zone for this kind of workout. NOTE: A couple (not all) of these songs are a tiny bit aggressive/vulgar (this ain’t a restorative yoga playlist, friends), so if that makes you uncomfortable, don.

Your musical tastes are closely tied to your personality. In fact, a recent research paper published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science says that personality appears to play a more important role in the types of music you enjoy than your gender, age, socioeconomic status or cultural background..

That’s not to say a simple personality test will reveal to the world that. You don’t start your workout at a sprint, so don’t start your playlists that way. • Okay I was getting worried at the beginning cause I never heard a single one of the first 20 or so songs. Probably not too surprising since I am like a real old dude. But, I do like a few of the songs and might add them to my list. I really only listen to music when I am on the stair machine, which I highly recommend, cause it helps to change your step rate to match the beat. Keeps things interesting and can get you working harder than you would without music. Anyway, as for recommendations, try some Parov Stellar Catgroove or Kiss Kiss, great stuff for cardio. Anyway, great video again Syd. Keep it up. Oh and you look great chair/car dancing:)

  • Thank you for 300K subscribers. Insane.
As a special i thought i would bring back a highly suggested Browney workout playlist part 2

PS: I disabled certain ads so you can watch/listen to the thing without being interrupted by a 30 seconds ad. And rarely skip a 3 minute ad. Also only made ads pop up between songs and not during a song. Oh and only 3 ads on 1 hour video. Thnx.

  • I see you’re trying to work out during corona. Lemme give you a tip if ur a guy: be aggressive whilst working out. Don’t look it up on google or anything. Just be aggressive.

  • I bet I’m the only one who listens to dubstep, hardstyle and other electronic genres it’s like something that doesn’t show up on TikTok or other songruiner platform I’m glad I’m not the stereotypical teen who only listens to new music
I’m here just to see how weird I am for not listening to Hip Hop or Pop

  • I recently found your channel and i really enjoy watching your videos. I don’t know the way you talk has just sth very sympathetic
Keep up the good work girl!!
    Greetings from germany xx

  • I love your videos Syd! I’ve been following since your first workout video went viral. Your videos make me die laughing especially whenever you’re recording in public. I too die of embarrassment when I try…

  • Can I recommend song to be listed in the playlist? This one is good.. It’s on YouTube and SoundCloud..

    https://youtu.be/nun2uTkdWrs

    https://soundcloud.com/studio-nng/slow-walk

  • anyone looking to use any of these songs in your video, don’t do it unless you want to be struck with a big fat copyright claim. i learned the hard way lol.

  • I got community but the thing is… I know I’m sensitive + that description matches me the best. I would say I gets connected to music on a deep, spiritual level. I like the music which has a little mysterious, sad background to it:)

  • grr maybe i’ll have to go to the gym tomorrow and try out some of these songs. Love your vibe by the way. I just uploaded a playlist video as well if you were interested in watching

  • Lol I love it! I’m 33 years old and those are my workout music songs as well, anything with ja rule, ludacris, missy elliot, JLO, I love waca flocka no hands on the stair master!! Lol. ️‍♀️

  • Everyone in the comments be using this music for workouts while I’m here using it to motivate myself to work on my bracelets w/o getting distracted (if you wanna, go check out my shop on Instagram @ bracelets.by.cat🙂 )

  • When you go to gym hit super speed and get pumped to train, you play this playlist lock your phone and place it in holder on your arm and get hyped and then ads start to hit from 6th minute forward and you need to get off treadmill and switch to something else. Worst feeling ever

  • At bruh I’m 13 at 155 pounds I’m doing jumping Jack’s pushups and mountain climbers for 30 mins and riding a bike for 30 mins will I lose weight

  • The five seconds of summer one: you think you’re indie because you don’t listen to one direction, not what I would describe myself, but that was still really funny, like it’s pretty accurate. and then the once about gorillaz, “you’re just starting to become indie” like that was really accurate. and when he mentioned Melanie Martinez, Alec Benjamin, MARINA and Charlie Puth I went o.O oh ok

  • Someone: what kind of music do you like?
    Me: yes

edit: what I’m saying is that I have everything from Katy Perry to Aerosmith in my playlists

  • I got 18 points but I am definitely NOT a sensitive person. I’m more of those energetic, introverted, anger issued people. At least that’s what my friends say

  • omg this was true i love kpop and this video is telling that i have a connection with kpop it was true. kpop is my life but specially i love bts

  • So i had an add about Joe Biden saying “can i ask you a question, will you add your name to my campaign to defeat Donald Trump” once you state the fact to bring down a presidents upbringing shows hes desperate not of the fact of helping people but of just becoming a president. He is extremely unprofessional. He doesn’t talk much about what hes actually going to do for the people of the country besides talking about Donald Trump, hes worrying about the wrong things, he just shows jealousy and contempt.

  • This couldn’t get me any more emotional….I got ‘it’s all about community” and gosh kpop is my life!!! Seriously and I got that could I be more happier than that?
