  • what with those people that say they have irritable bowel syndrome and are not able to consume enough food? I have a hard time accepting it, as I see it as a mental thing in relation to food, but people that belive this cant be persuaded by my oppinion.

    edit: I mean, I feel that if you were to throw them into a 4 week military style boot camp in the woods where they had to do hellweek kinds of things, then they surely would start to appreciate food, right?

  • I bought Walk At Home 3 mega miles during the strict lockdown in Italy. I love it!! I’m hitting 70 yrs old in a few months, but have been an avid exerciser for 50 years.   • im honestly needing to diet, im in between 48-49kg and I’m only 12 as well as my thighs are getting quite big! my older sister and me are the same weight and I’ve been trying to workout for 3 days already but no improvement whatsoever. please let me know if this works, im in need to lose weight (maybe around 8-10kg) im going to try this out and see if there’s any improvement.

  • Its already 1 week of doing this workout, a 16 min upper body Roberta’s workout, Lucy’s 4 min arm workout and 100 crunches a day and the results are amazing!!!!!   • What kills me is she doesn’t lose weight. Her hips and thighs have always been the same size since i can remember lol this routine doesn’t make you sweat, so do yourself a favor and actually go out and walk. This is bull!!!

  • Good thing is, it will come back soon. I took months off from the gym before or working out, due to a death in the family and another time because i hurt myself. Each time i can remember going back it took me 2 months to get fully back but after a month you will see your self start to get insane again. So the temporary weakening from months off will dissipate as you consistently keep working out again, id say 2 months you’ll be very happy again.

    Side note: i was at 280 max and easily was benching 230, now i can barely lift 230 after coronavirus shutdown. It will take some time, but time is on your side! Ha haa.

    Day one: it was pretty hard and no difference (duh)
    Day 2: still no different (obviously) and the workout was easier
    Day 3: ok the workout was way way easier and I’ve been eating healthy and I have lost 2 pounds and it’s only the third day! But I don’t see a difference and that’s fine!!

  • I got my acne when I started working out.. Now after 2 weeks gym break I have no pimple and it’s not about cleaning my skin it’s hormonal acne. I get it on jawline. I read that it might be cortisol and testosterone levels that goes up when training so can you make a video about that?

  • I was always in competitive sports growing up and have done my fair share of agility and speed training over those years. I had never done much for lifting weights though. Here and there but no dedicated time. It just wasn’t stressed to us in our athletic programs, girls programs specifically, or at home. I did play some college volleyball but nothing too serious. We lifted for reps not for weight mostly. I’m now far enough into a military career that I might as well ride it out until retirement. Having recently returned, I spent 10 months deployed in Honduras and over those 10 months I lifted weights nearly every day but really hit it about 2-3 times per week. I’d mix in distance or sprints. Sometimes kind of a hiit workout. I’d alternate days for different muscle groups. I was trying to work on my nutrition based on what muscle groups I was planning on working over the next few days. It was amazing. I felt amazing. Stronger and more energized than I’d ever felt. It was during this period that I’d started to watch your videos.
    Being home has had it’s downfalls, more of inconveniences really. For one… I have to cook my own food now… (I actually like to cook) and with a considerably lower selection available at all times. I also don’t have a gym a quarter mile down the street. Not to mention there is now snow outside compared to the constant high 70 degree F weather…
    With these excuses… I unfortunately have not been exercising and certainly not lifting nearly as often as before.
    Anyways… listening now to your explanation of what is happening to my muscles over this break period and the other reasons as to why my body may feel like death my first couple workouts gives me a bit more rationality I can feed myself when I am not feeling up for it yet. Mind over Matter, I suppose.
    All in all… I want to say that I really appreciate the knowledge that you share and the energy that you put into your videos. I believe we are the same age and I find your work to be very respectable as well as inspirational. Keep keeping it classy and keep having fun! I love your work.

  • Due to holidays I had 3 weeks off training and also overate during that time. Yesterday’s training felt like hell, except the bench press everything felt heavy and especially I felt weak and fat. Thank you SO much for this video and also for the 1 week overeating video (watched that one before). Need to get back on track with normal eating, I think I will feel better.

  • Hi Natacha! I’m a high level competitive dancer and after completing at the world championships I found out I had to take minimum 4 months off training to heal the bones in my feet. After training so intensely for the past decade my bones have started to deteriorate. Obviously I want to get back to training and healthy ASAP but I have been putting a lot of stress and pressure on myself how I can possibly keep up with and continue to beat my competitors after not training for a third of the year. The information you said about muscle memory and multi nuclei really helped me feel better about getting back to training with a positive mindset.   • I have been doing these exercises since past 3 weeks. I don’t really follow a kind of diet,I just avoid eating a lot of junk food. I have not really got slimmer but I have lost some weight. I have seen some changes in my body,earlier when I would perform these exercises then I would get really tired but now that doesn’t happen.   • The reason why bodybuilders eat a lot is because they have very little fat stores with little fat stores the body can start eating the muscles if you don’t have enough calories to sustain the muscles, if you’re not shredded you don’t need to eat to much calories, its similar to fat people who start exercising they may lose fat but the body would think its not normal causing them to gain that fat back fast if they don’t change their diet, its the same even for people with large muscles.

  • Came here from Greg Doucette’s review of your video(s). Thank you for addressing subjects that I’ve always had suspicions about. Like that in one meal there’s no way the body can make use of all the excess protein and nutrients or store all the excess calories as fat. And it’s important to prioritize other things in life when there is a time crunch but try to bring fitness back into the routine at some point. Or stay warmed up with reduced fitness routines.

  • its all depends on the genetics… when i never worked out in my life, only did skateboarding I had biceps that was above the average man’s biceps. Now im training for 10 years but not continously, many times i stopped for years training out but i never lost muscle really. But I lose fat also really hard, I even tried ECA stack with intermittent fasting with 1200 calories a day and still couldnt shred down after months. And on the flipside there are those guys who are shredded to bone by nature, they can hardly earn muscle and lose it pretty quickly soooo yea:D All i wanna say is muscle loss is an urban myth many times

  • Been doing these for years, they really work. Went down from over 200lbs to around 160lbs in just a few months. It really starts getting effective when you throw in some dumbbells and leg weights!

    I have tried different diets and exercise things. NONE have stuck.

  • This has been my workout for like 3 months and I see a huge results! It really worked! From 60+kgs. to 50 kgs now!!! Especially, I added some workout routines that also focus on other parts of the body to make it more effective, also I eat less carbs, more proteins, veggies and fruits. I also avoided sweets.

  • I purchased Leslie’s VCR tapes many years ago and have walked with her ever since. Now that she is on Youtube I workout with her everyday in different ways-1 mile, 2 mile, Beginners lol If the beautiful 80 year old woman can work out for 20 minutes, then I have no excuse.     I already started yesterday so here are the results:

    Day 1: I’m very out of shape so the exercises were pretty hard. I haven’t lost any weight (of course).
    Day 2: My whole body hurts and it was even harder doing the exercises today. I couldn’t do the last one and I’m literally dying.

  • 1st time with this set. It felt good especially when you keep your core tight. Squats suck of course but do as much as you can. Good mix that doesn’t overtire and repetition to allow you to ramp up your intensity. Thanks again Body Team.

  • To everyone who is doing this, MAKE SURE YOU STRETCH AFTER EVERY TIME YOU DO THE WORKOUT! I can not stress enough how important it is to stretch after working out. Your muscles will be sooo tight if you don’t stretch, especially if your a beginner. Stretching will help loosen up your muscles since you were just tightening them and make it easier for you to continue your workout routine the next day because you won’t be as sore since you stretched. Take it from me, I’m a competitive dancer and we have an hour exercise class every week. I always stretch after because if I don’t I really regret it the next day when I have to go back to dance but get in trouble because I can’t do anything since I didn’t stretch. Bottom line. Stretch. Or you will regret it tomorrow. Lol this was long but this is important so yeah ����

  • im no expert, but i went about 4 months without training, and i still have the same mass and shapes. im guessin it has to do with diet during the latency period? as long as you have a good diet you can maintain the muscles while having a break?

  • That depends on how much protein intake you maintain… muscle memory is real. The muscles build nuclei that do not go away… your gains will come back very quickly…

  • I’ve been lifting hardcore for about 9 years now, went from 5’11” 160lbs to 185lbs AND leaned out like crazy during the process. I was training only 3 times per week, basic push/pull routine. And now I train each muscle group like once every two weeks and have not lost strength, size or gotten any fatter lol. Also don’t consume as much protein as I used to. Used to be around 180g/day now its about 100g. Seems after a while your body adapts to maintaining itself without needing as much stimuli or protein.

  • Love your constant encouragement. I’ve gained the Covid 15 (on top of the non covid 20) so I have a long way to go, but today was the first day!

  • Started doing 100 push up a day for 30 days. Wrists were killing after 10 days, took 2 and a half weeks off with no training. Started again with the perfect push up and feel like absolute shit. Struggle to do 5-10 push ups now FFS! I guess it was a good science experiment on my behalf. Lesson learned..gonna start over.

  • I just started doing this along with a friend: we make a zoom meeting on one device, and turn on the video at our own homes on a different device. We turn off our Zoom audio and video and do Leslie’s walk simultaneously in our own homes… then turn on the zoom audio/video for a visit after exercising! IT’s fantastic!!!!

  • Heey I’m in a very stressed situation right now and I just don’t know how to overcome it with the minimal damage in my body. I undereated and overexercised in the past 4 months, and now I’m in hospital and on a bed rest for a month now. Obviously I can’t exercise and if I’m going out of the hospital I don’t know where to start it again. I don’t know how much muscle I will lose and how much I can risk to do. I try to gain my weight back from protein (if that’s even possible) but really I don’t know barely anything about how to gain weight back without looking so puffy but without exercising at all. Some suggestions? By the way you’re one of the biggest inspirations for me to recover from an eating disorder but I’m reaaally scared of gain fat and I want to solve it a little
