I’m in decent shape and for the most part I can follow your steps with slight modifications. I read that the best way to burn more fat is to do HIIT during your fasting. I did that today and unlike other days when I worked out and it wasn’t during my fasting, I got extremely lightheaded.   • As a rule of thumb, you should be at least bent double preferably slightly nauseous during the rest phase ;).
    My gym’s treadmills max out at 12 mph, so I HAVE to use incline to bridge the gap!

  • Can someone tell me the calorie burn? I just got a fit watch but of course there’s no option for HIIT so I put it on Run mode to track heart rate and calories burned = 40. Is that right!!??

  • Was able to determine what should be my speed on treadmill. 220-(your age) = maximum heart rate. Then he said that at least 85% of it.
    220 27 = 193 max heart rate
    193 x 0.85 = 164 at least is my heart rate. I started with 6 then 7, then 8 where I discovered that that should be my speed to attain at least 85% of my max heart rate.

  • I used to Run 25 consecutive minutes and ride for 15 minutes bicycle within 2 weeks I felt the fat is going to disappear. the only thing you need is to resist and dedicate to go 4 to 5 days a week.

    Hi!… I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your run on the treadmill with that AWESOME JAZZ music but it was like JUST 3 MINUTES of the whole video.

  • I do 6mph incline at 5 for 32 mins go up too 8mph for another 2 mins then backdown to 6mph for 1 min recovery so a run for 35 mins

    My other workout is 8mph incline at 3 for 20 minutes then down to 6mph for 5 mins

    When I started in January I lasted 2 mins at 8mph and 6 mins at 6mph and being asthmatic as well I go on about 3-4 times a week
    I feel bad if I don’t go on ��‍♂️��‍♂️��‍♂️��‍♂️

  • no one can maintain a high intensity speed effectively and consistently for 30 seconds and worst, for 5 reps. There is a reason the 100m is called the 100 Meter Sprint and why they don’t call the 200m a sprint. I would suggest using a hiit zone between 10-15 seconds.

  • Here’s a better way to do it. I’m only 14 and this is the workout I do for treadmill hiit. Basically I do 10 minutes with 30 second intervals. Warm up isn’t included btw. Warmup can be whatever you want.

    So for the hiit workout I run 15km per hour for 30seconds then rest for 30 seconds until the 10 minutes is up. I lose around 5002000kj in the following hour and then it continues increasing. I use my Apple Watch series 5 and it’s honestly really easy. If I can do it so can you

  • Girl try high incline sprints you’ll be dead fr! I do 5 sprints, start with the incline on level 5, speed 8, sprint 30 secs with 1 minute rest and increase the incline 1 level after each sprint!

  • This works! What I do is walk for a half a mile and then run for the other half. I do this till I reach 5 miles total. I lost like five pounds a week and also, I noticed my endurance for running went up. The speeds I go between is 3.7 for a walk. And then I started at 4.7 for a run and now have moved up to 6.2 for a run.

  • HIIT is a muscle sparring cardio? Seriously? Yeah no, it’s the opposite and it has huge recovery times. You probably even burned less than 250-300 at most. Also, research shows excess post oxygen consumption or after burn would only burn less than 15% of total workout which is not much. Do LISS and Weight Train if your goal is to lose fat this is very inefficient if your goal is to lose body fat

I know it’s a little but old (2020), however, in amidst of the covid 19 pandemic in 2020 I am trying to find the best way to shed these pounds. Now, that our gym has opened back up at 25% I find myself wanting to just run (typically about 30mins). Afterwards, I feel I need to do a work as I dont feel like I have worked out BUT I love running. So here I am searching for how to get the best out of the treadmill and thus far YOUR video has been the most direct and instructional video. So thank you sooo much for explain what level you warm up on, how long, rate you sprint at and how long, oh and explaining what HIIT is and the effects it has on the body via intermission training.
