  • My usual routine is

    3 mins skipping usual pase

then 10 seconds as fast as I can

  • Thank you, Guys. Completed this workout 2x in 25 minutes on 45 hours of water fasting. 3 hours to go. Thanks again. I likely wouldn’t haven’t worked out today.

  • Hey guys, I’ve lost 5 kg since jumping rope. I wanted to ask though. Does it make a difference if I jump 20 minutes rather than 30 minutes. The reason I ask is because I like to incorporate the hit workouts that are usually less than 30 minutes. I also lift weights twice a week and hit my abs on my off days twice a week. The other days I do hitt? Is this a solid plan? So long as I am doing some form of exercise everyday or at least 5/6 days a week?

  • You guys know why you are so popular in India? In Indian household, Jumping ropes or as we call it skipping is very popular! Kids used to jump ropes a lot with the notion that it would increase you height! It is cheap, easy and fun! I remember most my childhood I used to jump ropes and play basket ball for height! I remember when I was in primary school being able to jump ropes for 15 mins straight non stop! I was well used to it. And now that I am I doctor finally and done with college I am back to jumping ropes. Feels so good! Love your work guys!

  • Congratulations because you take the time to respond the comments and answer the questions. You videos are nice and inspiring. Excelente music. Greetings from Medellin Colombia

    10 seconds of boxer skip
    10 seconds of fast skip+crossovers
    10 seconds of high knees
    10 seconds of mummy kicks+crossovers
10 seconds of sprint in place+crossovers

  • Took a break from the four week challenge to see what awaited me on the other side and this one was challenging, but feels super awesome completing it!

  • I started doing jump rope like a week ago and I can’t do double unders and feet front to back..but I really want to lost some fat. Can you guys tell me what can I do? Will simple jump ropes work? And also can you tell me some good shoes for doint jump rope?♥️

  • Hi guys, my anlkles are hurting like crazy! I’m thinking I’m either jumping wrong or I started too strong. Gave myself four days of rest but seems like it wasn’t enough. I will check out the right jumping technique, but what can I do regarding the pain? Thanks so much, love the channel

  • I am following your channel since last few days and I find it informative. I m doing rope skipping since last 65 days and I manage to loose 13 kg weight.

  • This is by far my favorite workout. I do it almost everyday. 8 rounds with boxer skip for the minute and double unders for the 30 sec all with the half pound rope. Keep killin it guys thanks for the workouts!

  • Your videos are a breath of fresh air and quiet. Thanks for not doing the ‘Rope Dudes” thing. Yap, yap, yap. Worst of all they think they’re funny.

  • It was great founding TPM, I’m 62, male and a little bit chubby, however I preferred to jump without the
rope in order to follow the rhythm. What is better? …. Jump with the rope and maybe not follow the training or better follow the training with NO rope?

  • Hi guys. Really nice work out. Even I do a lot of jump rope exercise but where can I find those different kind of jump ropes which is used in this video? I stay in India. Could you also explain here what kind of rope helps what? For example intensity rope helps what? Agility rope helps what?

  • What impress me the most about the Jumpropedudes are not only the workouts, but they respond to all YouTube comments. That means they truly care about their audience. Very few people do that!!!!

  • Wow…..thank you! This allowed me to pace myself as i slowly build endurance. I was counting to 100 straight and ran out of breath before I reach 50. This is really for beginners. I will continue the beginners lesson until I can go more than 20 seconds

  • Rest? I wish. At KO East London there is zero rest. Actually skipping rope is your rest. Pushups and burpees are your warmup. Good video, i like this approach better

  • Been fit on and off all my life. Now after snowboarding season ended and lockdown my fitness levels plummeted after doing three days of other beginner workouts i came across this one with tired legs i managed it and a bout twenty minutes later got up and did it again. Great for someone who has just turned fifty.

  • wow, my first “big” WO fasted. These 12 minutes went faster than I expected. Thank you guys for my mini milestones (starting JR, starting IF). Your cueing is very positive and encouraging so sticking with you all seems totally enjoyable and doable. I am ready for my day, thanks again!

  • I hate how good these jump ropes are lol I just got my get lean bundle and they are light years better than the one I had started with. Very expensive but worth it honestly

  • Believe it or not Olympic medalist Indian boxer Mary Kom was overweight for a competition and had to lose a couple of kilos to be eligible to participate and she jumped rope for an hour to lose a couple of kilos in a couple hours and then went on to win the competition. So anyone who doesn’t believe jump ropes don’t work should just read her story and shut the F Up.

  • Hey!JRD I want to suggest you for doing a advertisement reaction for this two videos which are really a motivational. I think it can give a boost for our JRD nation.

  • I have been alternating this one and the 10 minute one. 10 days in with 1 day skipped. I decided not to monitor for results because just putting in this effort is boosting my confidence.

  • Im 15 years old. And i do this wirkout everyday because its so effective! Thanks so much jump rope dudes for naking this video. Much love fron the philippines

  • Been doing your workouts for over a year now. Love your programs. This is by far my favourite. Love the circuits and the music. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

  • Brought me a jump rope and found this beginner video. It took me about 20 mins to get through because I’m 270 pds but I enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment afterwards.

  • Know those legs and lungs were burning from this one! I tore my hammy and got a vasectomy (yes all in the same week) so I’m on the DL for a while!

  • Oh nooo, im so sore from my yesterday’s workout that i cant walk straight and you guys come up with thissss! How am i goin to resist

  • I just stumbled across your channel looking for new workout videos and you have me so inspired. I am 5’1″ and I am not overweight, but just looking to tone up and get more energy because I have noticed I am tired throughout the day. Great videos!

  • This is such a good workout for any level. Just having something to follow along with is helpful; sometimes it’s boring to just freestyle or think of your own workout.

  • I want to do at least 500 skip/day but my body is slightly heavy and Im out of breath every 40-50 skips and no energy. Can I do like 50-100 skips then rest and like I do half in the morning, and the other half sometime on a same day? I dont think I can do all 500 in a row. How many calories will be burnt for 500 skips. I’m 5ft and 125lbs. I want to get a flat abs and toned arms, then I saw a video about rope jumping and want to stick with it for 30 days.

  • hey dudes i have a question. Im 17 years old 180cm tall and i weight 68kg im active i do hit 4-5 times a week and my calculator says i should eat 2000 cals daily but i think thats too much ive been eating 1500 for a mounth now and i see some changes my qestion is do u think i should continue like this or i should listen toy calulator and start consuming 2000cals?

  • Great job dudes. I love your workouts. I do not understand this particular workout. It says 15 mins, but also says repeat twice…so it is for almost 30 mins, am I wrong?

  • This was an easy workout. Can you do a follow along that is more difficult and fluid. Maybe you should set up a few ropes with handles. I’m assuming you have a couple of sets. Cheers!

  • For 1 month consistency training, I finally increase my stamina nonstop jump rope workout for 25 minutes!!! Yahoooo

  • Love love love these!!! I started skipping about 6 weeks ago and discovered you right away!!! Thank you for this amazing channel!!! Please keep them coming!!!!

  • Jump rope dudes. What do think about the Crossrope app. It has a bunch of workouts. I use it all the time? And what is your opinion on Red Bull? I drink one once in a blue moon!?

  • Been touring all around Israel with my family — with limited time each day to Do The Thing. Must have done this workout 8 times in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, kibbutz hagoshrim. Thank you, guys. Doing the thing in NY in Israel and in between!

  • Did it two times, a little bit too easy because of my crossfit jumping rope (so light), even though I went as fast as I could. But nice workout though:)

  • push ups pullups and dips on a V shape kitchen counter top gets your upper body #Right… the rope is great for stamina and leg strength.

  • This is the first day that I’ve been able to jump the rope without it catching on my feet. It took me 2 days to figure out when to jump. Lol. So I held both handles in one hand and swung the rope at my side. Every time it hit the floor, I slapped my other thigh with my hand. It helped to know when to jump.

  • So I’ve been doing this for roughly 12 days but the first 3-4 days I only jumped to warm up and learn jumping rope for 20 minutes. Then days 5-8 I was doing 1 set and jumping the rest for a total of 20 minutes. And from there till now which is day 13 I have been doing 2 sets every day(still need to do day 13). Is this intended to be done every day or do you take rest days? Current day my thighs feel the most sore. How do you distinguish between soreness and pain territory. I don’t workout often so I am not sure I should have rest days or not.

Also I do this workout in the evening after work…hopefully that doesn’t defeat the purpose of this workout. “12 Min Morning Jump Rope Workout”.

  • I need to reduce my belly fat.. I did 650 numbers in skipping rope per day… And then do gym excercise but i can’t to reduce my belly. Any idea to help me.

  • I’ve been using this workout to get “back” into jump roping. I started about a year ago (2019) ago for 3 months and stopped because of shin, ankle and knee pain (improper form) and I just started back at the beginning of July 2020. I was trying to find a protocol that would be challenging but not kill me like last year. So I’ve been doing this video 6 days a week for the last 3-weeks. I’ve built up enough endurance to go a bit faster during intervals. I’ve subscribed to your channel and will be looking into your protocol more intensely. As a woman standing 6’3″, large frame, and 48 years of age, I’m proud to say that us “old girls” can find ways to get in shape without all of that fancy equipment. Jump roping really is the best exercise for anyone especially women over 40. Thanks for this video.

  • You guys have too many exercises! Do i start with these on YouTube, or do i start with the challenges in your app? Really looking to tone up and lose fat

  • Going to keep at it all I could do for the first time wa a minute on the jump rope. Do you guys offer a very basic say minute to 30 minute traing program?

  • I am already subscribed to the zen dude’s, so when I saw this video I thought it was their video. But then I realized it was Shane’s channel

  • If we do jump rope on a hard surface don’t our knees get out of service.. What danger jump rope have on knees Pls tell sir thank you.. Pls include bitcoin payment I do not have PayPal.. I want to buy ropes and mat..

  • I am 19 and am a martial art instructor and a parkour practitioner and freerunner..I am 6’1 and weight 168 and am just trying to lose the little bit of fat I have on my lower stomach and midsection…I just ordered the Cross Rope starter set and hope that it will help give me a little boost in my training regiment to get rid of that last little bit of body fat.

  • By the way: I CAN do boxers step easily without a rope, but once I try combining with the rope it goes wrong. I do fast cardio exercises with many combo’s and I generally do not have issues with my co’ordination whatsoever.

  • If i do your 10 minutes skipping Rope (the one with 1 minutes skip and 10 seconds rest) and this video everyday for a month, how many kg can i lose? I’m 15 and i’m tall 1,77m and i weigh 74kg

  • Thank you for this VIDEO, now i’m starting to lose weight and looking for the induction the jump rope for beginner and today I did it for 3X rounds! i’m so proud of myself and will be continued!

  • how many calories are burned in this? I’m trying to get more muscle but i wanna be fast at the same time. I honestly feel like I lost my speed

  • I have 2 questions here plz ans me

  • so beautiful you are dear trainer! I seriously thought it as animated avatar xx much. love from Norway. can’t wait to workout my first class with u

  • Loving this workout guys. I hate the gym, but this incorporates everything in only a short time. Currently weigh 83kgs and hope to do this everyday in January. Will report back with results and photos.

  • I’ve been thinking about getting into boxing and mma and stuff, but this is seriously intimidating. Especially since everyone is saying this is a light workout in the comments. Any tips for beginners on building up to this point?

  • Your workouts are some of the best on YouTube tbh. i’ve already lost 1.5kg in one week and that is with a not so great diet. The more I skip, the more i want to improve my eating. And i love that you break up the skipping with other exercises.

  • Hi everyone so here’s my journey:
Day 1: Did the video 3 times, a bit difficult but nothing impossible, did some mistakes but overaly proud of me:)

  • I do this excercise before my breakfast in the morning and also after my weightlifting in the evening before my dinner. Is this enough (or too much) cardio? Should I also add an ab routine? I’m on a diet plan as well. Thanks for the vids!

  • Hi I’ve just found your channel this workout is well planned and looks ideal for a fat middle aged man trying to lose the belly
    Thanks

  • Hi im trying to get into jump rope for the first time alongside my other aerobics workouts. I tried this workout and it certainly got my heart racing and I worked up a bit of a sweat by the end of it. Can you tell me how many calories I would burn with just this routine alone pls?

  • I did this exact workout today but my feet started to hurt even tho im jumping very little off the ground, why? My calves don’t hurt at all.

  • Great app to keep track of the drill: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krausnick.shoutboxworkouttimer

The developer will direct you to the most recent version of the app but I personally find this one cleaner.

  • Love your jump rope workouts. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful if there was a slight change in the music for the rest periods so i dont have to constantly watch the screen…I could just listen and focus on jumping. Thx

  • Hi dudes I have a question: if I do yours workouts I’ll get more muscles or I’ll less body fat? Sorry for my grammar but I have been learning

  • Your workouts have been really helpful. Do you have an official app on the play store for android? Will you please guve me the link if yes?

  • I used to do 10 min beginner, then 30 min then 15 min and now I do this. In 9 weeks I lost nearly all my belly fat and now it’s nearly flat Thank you JRD for helping me

  • You can’t do push ups correctly. You shouldn’t tell people how to work out if you cant do it by yourself properly! Totally dislike!

  • Shin splints will be the death of me! Currently skipping every other day, just so my shins can recover before the next workout. Awesome session though, I skip through the lunges and burpees, opting for more resting time (20-30 seconds) instead

  • Excuse me bro, but nothing can replace an hour at the gym, we don’t go to burn calories like you guys we go to get lean and build muscle. Also I’m pretty sure Squats on a regular basis would burn more calories as it takes endurance and depends on the volume of your workout and your diet.XD sorry if I sound triggered just spreading some knowledge. But jumprope is good cardio I like it.
Edit:In all honesty you could add this at the end of your workout and it will basically be more productive.

  • Hello! Thanks for this video; I’m using this to learn basic jump as a beginner. However, once I start to move on to boxer’s skip, for some reason I have trouble with co’ordination… feet/hands. Is this common? What can I do to overcome?

  • Hey guys, so I’m about to buy these and I’m just under 5”4. Which one should I choose between the medium and large size?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hey bro I been doing freestyle pyramid work outs starting with one minute and adding a minuet after 30 second rests. I’m up to six minuets in the first week finding jumping crazy easy. I’m only focused on leaning out. Should I keep the longer time, or keep it more hiit for weight loss. Or are they the same? I go hard either way?

  • even firas zahabi has said jumping rope is waste of time. so why should anyone do this mickey mouse stuff. better ways to improve your cardio.

  • can you make tips for 3 vs1 fights
maybe attack then run then attack risk…
I’m boxer and I’m always solo in fights
    I can win vs 2 but 3 I can’t…
