Yes, that’s right — the shoulder is actually made up of three individual muscles: anterior deltoid (the front part), medial deltoid (the middle part), and the posterior deltoid (the back part of the shoulder). I call this workout the Deltoid Triple Threat. It’s a double combination of three exercises to be performed in a super-set fashion for a total of three sets with a 30-second rest in between. A Triple Threat protocol is a high volume system composed of three exercises performed back-to-back as either a triple-drop set or as a giant set.

If you’re into the Eastern block or Westside stuff, you’d put these protocols into the “repetitive effort” category. D. Shoulder Triple Threat Protocol 2 sets x 6-8 reps of each exercise.   • “Lot’s of reps” is a bad idea at the beginning. Do few, good quality reps. These kids were going way too fast and not implementing what you just took the time to show them. Walk them through how to do the move a couple times, and once they have the motor skills down, they’ll be able to build off of them

  • I agree, with all of the “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” comments but let’s be honest…
    it’s VERY hard to NOT judge a book by it’s cover.
    We make judgments all the time based on what little information we have.

    Remember that the producers at A.G.T. WANT to “spin” things their way. They want us to see “Triple Threat” different than they would be, so that we might have that “surprised” reaction with the rest of the group. They present them as these small town, unschooled, awkward, maybe not-so-great singers, and then when they perform, we’re all like…”WOW!”. This whole “judging them wrongly” thing draws us into the show. It’s well calculated. No controversy = boring.

  • I honestly think some of the judges should be replaced with people who are more enthusiastic about the actual performances no matter the background or looks rather than judging them before the performers can actually put on a show. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

  • Learned something today!! Fire video but definitely not about triple threat, but it’s cool. This a jewel I’m not mad others are going to miss out on lol… A lot of kids are taking half moons and bananas to the rim and nobody corrects it because if you’re fast you can still get down hill, but as they get older it’s harder because they aren’t as fast anymore.

  • I leave july 7th to Fort benning  and im already a decent sized 18 year old work out regularly along with do sports but what type of cardio dose this guy do because i know for airborne infantry i have to do allot of running and im a bit worried my 2 mile wont be good enough
