  • We all are different. Hi fat diet doesn’t work for me at all.. I can’t digest that amount of fats it makes me feel really fatigued and gives me stomach issues. When I eat good quality carbs and i eat them a lot Im okay.. Like quinoa, brown rice, buckwheat etc. Of course low carb diet makes many people feel better right away, because you can’t eat any bad carbohydrates anymore, like white bread and sugary foods.   • Respectfully disagree. I was strict vegan for a year. I was badly protein deficient and B12 and the usual vegan deficiencies. My arm fell out of it’s socket. Found out veganism not possible for me without many supplements and vegan protein shakes. So I went animal KETO and I’m all better. Learn from my mistakes.

    I am a first nation type in the USA.
    Now I’m a big person since high school
    Football, Power lifter,
    I have cut out 70% of meats
    I did protien drinks veggie based
    More veggie meals
    More poached fish.
    I did this with working out for shape up( light weights, lots of cardio, kung fu work outside.
    And I lost about 10 ibs in a 8 months cycle.
    I was 270, now I’m 260
    Could it be my slow metabolism and age?

    I dont have hypertension

    Try these one:
    Don’t over eat
    Don’t over drink
    Don’t over indulge in sweets
    Don’t eat just because you are bored or anxious.
    Don’t attend so many social chit-chat, overeating gatherings, and parties, even if they are family.
    You don’t need them.
    Get a Hobby so you will find entertainment with something differently than food.
    Cancel your netflix account, go to the cinema onces in a while, and go for a walk regularly.
    If you are gaining weight, act fast and do a small diet, nothing fancy.

    Having a Balanced diet is harder for people than setting their minds to full commit fast results diet.

    Balance is the key to a healthy life.
    I know no one will follow this ancient wisdom, because they won’t accept something that is too obvious and not a trendy diet.
    I don’t have a MD diploma, but everyone is smart enough to understand that if it is too delicious then it might be fattening,

However after my cousin follow it, and finally lost a ton of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded.   • I’m following Ketogenic diet for last 5 years, What I learned from it
    *Super easy to follow once you are adapted which takes around 15 to 45 days.
    *Only after you are keto adapted you get all the brain related benefits( more focus, occasional high:p, no brain fogs and super concentration as I can sit at one place and work for about 8 hours without running for food or snacks)
    *8 weeks ON Keto and next 4 weeks OFF keto works for me as by doing that I face less Keto issues like dry skin, hair loss, occasional tingling in finger tips etc.
    * Do not cheat on a regular interval it increases your cravings for carbs, If you don’t cheat there will be no cravings.
    *You can’t judge this diet just by trying it for a week or so cause that’s just the transition period and you don’t see many benefits and because of your system changing to fat friendly from carb you may feel pathetic about it.
    *There are many tips and tricks I can share but this is becoming very long comment, I have a page on facebook with the name ‘Himalayan Keto adaptation’ where i occasionally share my experience and keto recipes.

  • The study is brutally biased and shouldn’t be used as a guide to follow. Keto alone isn’t healthy be it plant or animal based protein or fat for it should be done in tandem with intermittent fasting to achieve the ultimate purpose: to retain serum insulin levels at optimally low values. Moreover, it is very close to what our early ancestors ate and did.

  • Day 1: I can’t wait to be sexy
    Day 2: I did this first thing in the morning + started resting my tongue at the top part of my mouth. My face is looking less puffy!
    Day 3: Someone today asked me if I’ve lost weight. I find the exercises tedious, but my face looks more defined even from the front!
    Day 4: I didn’t do it, but I now rest by tongue at the top of my mouth
    Day 5:….I also didn’t do it, but still consciously placing tongue at the top of my mouth whenever I can remember

  • Hi Siobhan I have a long history with low carb / keto. I have a relative who is a MD who worked for Dr. Atkins approximately around 1991. At that time, he suggested I go on the diet. I did have my cholesterol checked before and after. During the 5-1/2 to 6 months on the diet I lost 75 to 80 pounds and my cholesterol went down 80 points. However, of course, once going off and returning to my bad eating habits, I regained weight. Not to bore you with too many facts, but I was on again / off again Atkins and gained and lost the weight again numerous times. I then decided that I needed to deal with the emotional component and was able to maintain my weight for many years however, that was just shy of being morbidly obese. On the other hand, I also began walking regularly and have been the most consistent of my life for over nine years. I am now 60 gosh I can’t believe it myself.:-( As I reached my late 50’s, I decided to go on Keto. I was drawn to the many recipes, including desserts that one could make. Boy was that a big mistake!!! I want to caution anyone who is older about the dangers of a keto diet, especially on again / off again. My MD relative once warned me it’s more dangerous to have fats and going on and off the program. I later learned about the dangers of the process when sugar and fat are combined. I went to the ophthalmologist and the doctor stated I now had drusen in my right eye. Six months later, the drusen was in both eyes and the right was getting worse. In fact, I saw the retina scan myself and that the drusen was almost at the macula. It didn’t take too many months more that I started to have a strange visual disturbance in that eye. Couldn’t have been my lazy left eye???:-( Anyway, I had already started to focus on a plant-based program, but now I had to get serious about stopping all the fats in my diet. The doctor relative said to me “You know if you have lipids in your eyes, it’s probably in all your tissues it’s just that the eye doctor was looking in your eyes.” That and the visual disturbance snapped me into the reality that keto is dangerous, at least for me. I have stopped drinking heavy whipping cream. I am eliminating coconut oil regardless of the controversial belief that it is healthy. I do intermittent fasting and only eat two meals per day. I now have oatmeal a couple of times per week or will be making oatmeal flour tortillas. I keep my daily carbs to about 30. For example, if I have oatmeal at breakfast, I would not touch a carb at dinner (well, not counting vegetables low in carbs). I am trying to only have chicken and even limit the amount. I don’t touch fish due to polluted waters, but I do take fish oil. I will eat eggs, but I am eliminating cheese and yogurt. I will take probiotics instead. I will have some red meat but only once in a while. I have stopped eating bacon and sausage. During the pandemic, I also stocked up on a few packages of organic turkey breast, but when used up, I will not buy more. Lastly, I do make wonderful split pea / vegetable or red lentil / vegetable soups in my Instant Pot which I then freeze in portions. If I were to have eggs for breakfast, the soup makes a delicious and healthy dinner. I have already lost a close friend and three friends of friends due to Covid-19 so I don’t shop very often. However, to have fresh salads, I purchase a couple of heads of green cabbage. It lasts in the fridge for about six weeks. Alrighty, I hope I didn’t bore you too much. I have high hopes that shifting these fats out of my diet will help the drusen to reduce. I also take vitamins, and I am on eye herbs such as bilberry, butcher’s broom, ginkgold, etc. So since you asked I felt compelled to share my experience to warn others about the dangers of a high-fat program. I was so arrogant and naive and suspicious of medical doctors for a long time, but now I highly respect their scientific knowledge more than ever!   • I’ve been on keto a couple of times before and I think it’s great for short term weight loss or if you want a kickstart to see the numbers on the scale go for motivation, but it’s horrible in the long term because it’s highly unsustainable. I don’t wanna eat meat and cheese for the rest of my life as a main staple of my diet. And because deprivation diets cant be sustained, when you stop, the weight comes back.

  • If u followed the video tips u will get diabetes, eating small food through the day is what cause diabetes & strain u r insulin levels, do u r own researches..

  • Also plant based nutrition isn’t very nutritious.. high quality animal products and organic plant options for minerals will cover you but most of the nutrition will come from the animal products..

  • I did these exercises for a few weeks and my double chin got BIGGER. Now instead of being a soft double chin it’s a thick muscular lump under my chin wtf. How do I get it to be flat?

  • You don’t need to eat 5 times a day plus have snacks in between you will loose weight even slower that weight you should have breakfast lunch arvo tea and dinner that’s it we don’t need 5 meals on top of snacks in between no wonder people aren’t loosing weight this isn’t useful sorry

  • Everything in moderation. MODERATION. No one needed all these fad diets and nonsense decades ago. They ate quality foods, occasional or low processed foods, and only ate when they were hungry. A lot does depend on your genes too, and no one person is the same as another.

  • I am 130 & 5’1 and I workout at least 3 times a week. I grind my teeth at night. I noticed my double chin once I gained weight (good weight in my opinion). Starting these today at work hahaha

  • Guys. lost lots of weight does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’m going to give you some advice right now. Get a popular fat loss system called Custokebon Secrets (just google search it). Thanks to it I have lost tons of weight. I shouldn’t even be talking about it cause I do not want a lot of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I’m just simply in a great mood right now so I will share the wealth haha.

  • 1. Eating keto doesn’t mean we’re going to eat healthy (the mentioned bacon), same as eating vegan doesn’t mean we’re going to eat heathy. You can get lots of processed food and fast food in both cases.
    2. Our bodies are able to go into ketosis for short periods of time, up to a few days. The most beneficial moment for us is when we break the ketosis. So let’s say 5 days keto and then eat the carbs. That’s when you benefit the most. That’s how the evolution programmed us when our ancestors were going days without anything else than meat to eat.
    3. Scientists don’t know the long term effects of ketosis on the brain. Brain needs glucose and it can get it from proteins but the proces is more complicated. Some people after a longer time on keto diet report having brain fog, etc, and going back to moderate-carb diet helps with that.
    4. Studies show that when low-carb diet gives faster results in losing weight in short term, after about 1 year the results are the same as for moderate-carb diet (meaning the 45-65% of daily callories intake comes from carbohydrates).
    5. Regardless which diet we decide to start, we suddenly start paying more attention to what we eat and we’re more careful with snacking. So we will lose weight either way. And when we stop the diet we stop paying that much attention to these things and we have the yo-yo effect.
    So the conclusion is clear: it’s not so much about the type of diet itself as it is about changing the lifestyle and eating habits (to healthier ones).

  • Cant group all animal products together. Huge difference in nutritional value and respective ratios, in addition hormone levels in a healthy/ clean animal vs unhealthy animal (free range, pasture raise, grass fed VS grain fed, feedlot, stall raised) and difference in fat soluble toxins stored in fat tissue of grain fed animals, plus consider the feed that’s treated with pesticides, etc. The study should aim to use healthy clean animal sources for a true comparison.
