Join me on a 30-day walk challenge to reach 10,000 steps by the end of the month. Day by day during the first week, you’ll start to feel stronger. Over the next couple of weeks, the walks will begin to seem easier.

By the end of a month, you’ll not only notice shifts in the way your body feels, but also a difference in your mindset. 30-DAY WALKING CHALLENGE. Whether you are just looking to clear your head, recovering from an injury, just getting starting, or looking for something new, walking is a great form of exercise!

Walking is the easiest form of exercise. You don’t have to invest big money into equipment. All you have to do is stand up and get moving. The challenge is that you need to walk 10,000 steps each day.

Each day if you were to do these steps, you will find that at the end of the challenge you have roughly walked 120 to 150 miles. That is an amazing amount, and since this challenge breaks it down to each day, you will find that it is easier than ever to conquer this challenge. The Level One 30 Day Walking Challenge will help you set a daily goal to help you establish a new fitness habit.

Walking can be great exercise if done consistently and with a pace that raises your heart rate just a bit. There are great immediate benefits to walking. You just challenged yourself to walk every day for 30 days. Now challenge yourself to get some sweats or shorts or leggings on. Now challenge yourself to get walking shoes on and get a playlist ready.

Now walk around your house. Now walk around your yard while listening to music. Now walk around outside on the side walk. 30-Day Walk Your Way to Weight Loss Challenge.

Save. In the beginning of this challenge, you’ll only be required to walk a couple of miles a day so getting in your exercise will be fairly easy. As it progresses, however, you will be asked to complete up to 6 miles in a day.

I recently bought the Walk It Off In 30 Days DVD, just for more variety. After I purchased it, I was made aware of the 30 day challenge perfect!! So, I will be using my new Walk It Off In 30 Days DVD on this 30 day challenge. Simply walk for 30-minutes every day for 30-days straight.

For this “30 minutes for 30 days” challenge don’t do any other exercise other than a some stretching to keep your muscles supple. It doesn’t matter if you walk the whole 30-minutes in a single walk or do three 10-minute walks spread throughout the day – just get it done.

  • 2nd day This pandemic got me too big can’t run bad knees so walking first day 30 mins today 45 tomorrow for sure an hour, No diet just eating less, Cutting soda and sugar drinks just eat regular food

  • Ive always had “skinny” legs because I was a dancer, and 7 months ago I started going to TRX classes 5 times a week and I started eating healthier. My problem is that ive noticed that the upper part of my inner thighs started to grow, very quickly. At first they told me that it was muscle but it really doesnt look like it. It feels uncomfortable because my thighs never touched when I closed my legs and now they do.
    Ive noticed that everytime i do squats (any type of squat), lunges (any type of lunge) and stuff like that the upper part of my inner thighs gets bigger, and its not muscle, i know its not muscle, and i eat healthy i dont understand. the worst thing is that im not noticing any difference in my glutes. please help
    A lot of people are confused on what area im talking about and is the highest part of my inner thighs. Like some people have inner thigh fat or muscle but still have like a little space in the upper part of their inner thighs, thats the part that im talking about. i put a bikini on and it just looks bad, i never had it

  • I recently staryed pacing out of anxiety bc of tge state the world is in right now an usually they last between an 30 mins and an hr ive lost 7 lbs in 3 days I am 17,5’2 and originally weighed 134lbs I’ll probably try to do this as a coping but now I wanna do it just to stay more active in general

  • That’s losing a pound per week. That’s generally what you should aim for. How is that not “impressive”? Weight loss is hard enough, don’t discourage people by making them feel like they need to lose 10 lbs every week.

  • Nice video. I just started walking again after 3 years. Last time I was at 237 and I got down to 214. This time I was 247. I am down to 237 in 2 weeks of the treadmill 1 hour a day. I am shooting this time for 210. I make sure as soon as I get home I jump on the treadmill. No excuses….

  • I’m happy this video came up as recommended this morning…I need to get motivated and start walking or doing yoga. I mentioned to you once I live in the same town as you so you can appreciate how my Spring walks to Grida’s don’t help me:). Maybe this weather isn’t a bad idea to walk in and I’d get some sunshine in. The dock at Peace Valley in the beginning put a big smile on my face…my husband proposed to me there and I used to walk there when u was pregnant with my oldest:).   • Hey @Tiffany Desiree! I am giving an update on My walk-out-workouts. At the time of this comment I am rather malaise from the over-training I have been going through. Need the break. I have been having this unusual weight gain but it could be my leg fat may becoming muscle. It is helping Me learn weight is not always visceral FAT! You may Not really have an ideal Weight to “Get down to” it is being Fit that is the goal.

  • I was injured in the military my back was shot.. years later after oxycontin Percocet 150mgs day I sunk into major depression anxiety my confidence down.. I said screw it.. I couldn’t use a gym any more with weights so I just grabbed my ear buds utube music n started walking.. I got up to 3miles then just rounded walking to 69mins day.. the walk is a quick pace I hit steps side streets with inclines hills.. u have to watch out for but initially I was very sore but the immediate effects were elevated mood less arthritic pain more energy… In a few wks I noticed my shoes were loser sweat pants loosened up shirts were not fitting anymore.. so I was losing weight in legs arms and sides my abdomen.. im still walking 4 to 5 days wk 60 mins.. my dog joins me lol.. I have cut the pain meds down 75% the arthritis creeps back in mornings but once im walking 10mins it fades.. the mind clears the sun hits your skin all good… The depression I’ve had has lifted by 70% I’ve dropped 12lbs im not sure where I’ll end up but I wanna say walking is saving my life!

  • Go for it, start small and build up until you can add more intensity/ distance/ time /weight etc Food important too _ Low fat, carbs n high protein veg or meat. Just do it and lose weight! Great vid

  • I just walked 12 miles today which is roughly 25,000 steps. The scale said I lost 6 pounds lol. It was mostly water weight. I drank a few cups of water and gained a pound lol. I usually walk 4.6 (10,000 steps) miles a day but this is encouraging.

  • I am starting to walk two hours everyday, not for a challenge but as a lifestyle. I have found out that if I don’t stay active and constantly watch what I eat then I definitely become overweight.

  • Thanks for posting this. I hurt my knee and need a way to stay in shape. I use the elliptical at my gym because it’s too cold out. I can’t wait until summer so I can go out walking

  • Please add metric measurements when talking about distance or weights. It could just be as a writen comment in the video or something. I think I’m not the only one around here who has not really an “intuitive feeling” about miles (and also about cups, feet etc.). Otherwise I really like your videos.

  • I liked your video because of the content, not the uber production quality.
    On the other hand I did not give a thumbs up to many other youtuber’s videos with superb quality but blah content.

  • The ‘lower’ quality is still good quality and I noticed the change in a previous video.

    There is a big advantage of the higher quality though, I think i was persuaded to subscribe because you had such high quality and a low sub count some months ago.
    I think you should do both kinds, LinusTechTips have 3 styles of videos, each with different purposes.

    One style for gaining new subs,

    One for pleasing old subs,
    and another which i forgot.

    I understand the feeling of trying to balance quality with quantity, so ultimately, I think you should do what you prefer.
    I think you have a great channel and are on an upward trajectory.

    and I think you can always make a quality push a few months down the line.

  • Calories in versus calories out… and if all you’re doing is walking getting more steps in think clearly you’re burning more calories on your regular diet which means you going to lose weight

  • Wow, excellent video. Yes, during this couple of months under this current situation, we actually need to be emphasizing just how important it is to walk consistently every day. And this is especially for senior citizens. Walking to work, to the store, to the park are great ways to improve one’s life, instead of driving anywhere. Just walking the dog has made a great impact on people’s lives. Definitely I don’t mind the lower production when you are giving more information and sharing personal anecdote which just enrich your content. Note: I cannot wait for your video about running.

  • I’ve been walking/skateboarding about 8 miles a day for the last few months. Its fucking insane, I’ve maintained at around 10% bodyfat this whole time without putting really any focus into my diets (I eat between 2500 and up to 4000 calories a day). Walking is hella underrated

  • An hour walk per day for30days is perfect my friend because health is wealth. Me too I love walking I can walk many many hours as a province girl we walk so many hours due to zero transpo. Your speech is honestly so touching make my eyes tears because there are people spread negative there are haters bashers even if nothing wrong with what I’m doing. Your touched me when you said spread love and positive attitude inspired and motivate others. This is my goal I want to make other people smile laughs and inspired with my simple vlog. It’s nice to heard that you found friends in yt and here too my dear. Yt world is not easy at all, it’s demanding it’s a bit stress and time consuming too. We all have other things to do yum job family etc and this platform it’s not really the top priority but others are too depending to say come back to me I will while it take me days weeks even month to return it hard.   • This is an AMAZING program! I did Leslie’s walk off the pounds dvd for two months (4 days a week) and found it was getting a bit easy so I switched over to this. It’s a challenge but totally worth it. Leslie is the most positive and motivating person in the fitness industry. 

  • I was a very lazy ass.. if I can do it anyone can do it….I was 120 KG and just by walking 8 km daily in 1 hour 20 min I have lost 30 KG weight in 4 Months. Also My hunger is suppressed, I eat 40% proteins 40% Fibrous carbs and just 20% starchy carbs.. it’s tough to control in the beginning for 3 weeks but you will be motivated by seeing results for sure and it will become a part of your lifestyle.
