My favorite player in the whole world! such an underrated talent! everyone focuses on the players who score goals but Kelley is key in defense and great at moving the ball forward. Beautiful assist yesterday in the England game.
Proud of you for being a great Georgian soccer player!! Morningside guy here who was invited to join the GSU team. You were given a gift from God that you developed….like your coach said. Rejection made you push yourself harder. You have inspired me to after my dream. Your dad cried when he saw the team at Wembley while the national anthem played. I’m balling my eyes out. I know how much hard work one has to put in to get to a higher level. But, not all of us are as gifted as you. Enjoy your success. All of Georgia should be cheering for you!
Hey Kelly, love what you said about mind control. You may like Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz who was a plastic surgeon turned self help guru. He noticed that some people might have an imperfection somewhere on their body, this imperfection made them feel ugly, when they really were not. Interestingly, after surgery their experience changed them to out going people. I’m a life long stutter, the book was very important to me in developing a positive attitude. I’ll let you go. Good luck in you’er up coming tournament.
Underlying metabolism at older development has a major impact determination for success. Controlling one’s weight, running all the time, and practicing the different skills are super imperative for subsequent success.
I recently got cut from my ODP team and it was a pretty hard blow but I didn’t let it stop me and to see that Kelley had a similar experience but pursued nonetheless is really motivating and inspiring
I just turned 40, never was into soccer. Then one day a few months ago I stumbled onto some youtube videos of the WNT and I was instantly hooked! I love seeing their friendships and how close they all are to each other. I almost feel like I’ve gotten to know them on a down to earth level. Now I make sure to tune into NWSL games whenever I can and root them on. Kelley O’Hara is definitely my favorite! Just found out that Sam Mewis grew up about 5 minutes away from where I did and I wonder if I ever saw her playing high school soccer.
Her goal in the semi finals four years ago when she launched into the air to tap the ball into the net is my favorite picture of Kelley. I’ve watched that video hundreds of times.
I enjoyed watching those very difficult to choose competition battles to start between equals = Kelley O’hara & Ali Kreiger, Similarly to Becky Sauerbaun & Rachal Buehler, or Alex Morgan & Sydney Leroux, & now in 2019 Sam Mewis & Lindsey Horan. Very very tough decisions.
McIntosh HS, c/o 2001, here!! Loved living in PTC, GA!!!! We still call it the “Bubble”. Hell, the soccer fields she rolls up to, around the 1:10 mark, are right by my old house. Damn, I miss that town, and my golf cart. LOL
Congrats to PTC’s own, Kelley O’Hara, on winning the 2019 FWWC!!!
Love defense mechanics of uswnt. Kelly is very competitive. She needs to tell the other three of her defense mates to up their tempo in this game. Man to man marking is suggested for defense
As a now 65-year old male, you couldn’t have paid me to watch soccer in 2008. Then, I watched the 2008 Summer Olympics that televised all of our women’s team’s matches. Tobin Heath got a lot of screen time and the slow motion replays made my jaw drop. Kelly O’Hara also opened my eyes about soccer. All the players did. The USWNT has been my absolute favorite team ever since.
Proud parent moment for all her soccer success, but when she bent down to pick up the Americn flag after yesterday’s WC game that a few teammates dropped in the celebration that is a moment that you know you did something right as a parent.
OMG 1.50 -it’s hilarious!)) This cute little thing trying to stop the ball! Ooooh! …But seriously, one can see the character and determination in this tiny one, the way she moves, the way she throws herself towards the ball. You are a naturally born athlete, and an amazing world class player, Kelly. And now you are a legend! Congratulations on being a World Champion!
Thank you, Adidas, for supporting Brad Hall and his channel. This reaffirms my loyalty to your brand. And thanks, Brad. It’s not easy being as awesome as you, but you make it look effortless, and we get to enjoy it.

Emily Sonnett was the BEST choice for this ad. She is hilarious and has this natural humor that she picks up on ALL cues. Bravo, Brad!!

She’s such a great defender, She’s also completely dangerous coming forward, Kelly O’hara is absolutely a world class footballer.

I felt so bad for her when she got injured in the final. it was clear she didn’t want to come off. love Ali but Kelley was amazing.

Behind so many world class players is a coach who knew she could do it even when nobody else did. Thanks Coach Moore! The country is in your debt!
I would’ve loved if she had actually given you a 50% kick and broken your leg
I mean I love you and want the best for you but there really aren’t enough broken leg shoe reviewers on YouTube

Hopefully we can see more patriotism be expressed by other players and their families like kellys. Good for them! this is the american spirit!
Cute story but way too much product placement. Relentless shots of Coca Cola bottles with the label facing the camera. Not even subtle.
One of the greatest women to represent footballers everywhere. Love Kelley a billion percent. Watching them play reminds me of being a kid again.
