    I hate my body.
    I hate myself.
    Every day when i walk down the street, I’m afraid of people…it feels like they all stare at me and judge me.
    I feel anxious and i even cried two times in front of strangers because i was afraid.

  • Many tips to grow your self-confidence…
    1. You should find your hobby, your talent, something you ARE good at. Something that others can also relate about you.
    2. Love yourself! Try to think about postive things of yourself, find things youre good at either, things that you love about yourself.
    3. Dont be quite, always try to race with everyone, the world is a race, our society is racing all the time, to prove ourselves and make others know u better and know the good things about you.
    4. Be cool, dont think about “what should i say?”, “what should i reply?”, “what should i do?”,Etc.
    5. Try to get strong, in the things you love, and your body.
    6. Smell great just like how the guy in the video said!
    7. Always compliment yourself

  • But what if you try to celebrate yourself and be proud of your work only to have people who are meant to be your support network drag you down anyway?
    During lockdown turned my backyard into a garden labyrinth complete with a gazebo, i was very proud of myself until lockdown ended and my in-laws came to see it. The said it was a waste of time and that the gazebo looks ridiculous. I truly think that videos like this are always made by people who have no idea what it’s like to suffer.   • I don t why I’m never confident in my capabilities i I litteraly skipped a final just because I didn’t feel confident and I when i told my private tutor he was shook he told why would u do that with a level like urs I’m sure I’ll get an A and I was suprised and now I’m starting to question myself why most of my grades are good but I never feel confident in my academic capabilities and I always think I’m too dumb not smart enough.

  • My favourite suggestion is to have a point of pride. I have so many goals.. and to have one thing that I’m proud of is key. I’m proud of ; my teaching career, my relationship with my kids, my YouTube channel and my fitness level.

  • I find it for myself I’ve struggled with self love and my self esteem for a long time. Being bullied through school, having negative family members growing up and having a toxic ex boyfriend (of which I finally had the courage to leave). What really gets to me is my appearance and my body. I compared myself too much to other people and social media tends to be my trigger. I could be scrolling and seeing a woman showing off her body in a tiktok or instagram and I don’t look like that, my body isn’t like that. Then you see the comments and it just puts my mind into this spiral. I want to be sexy, beautiful… perfect like those comments. I feel like I need to change and be like that because it seems like everyone stops and stares, admires and wants a piece of that person. Rather than someone who dresses with a bit more coverage to their body and not so much make-up. �� my ex would say to me ‘why don’t you look like that’ with videos and adult videos as well and I would just walk away, let it linger in my mind without learning how to change my mind to think opposite…

  • I feel very secure and genuinely happy when I am alone. I know what I want and why I do what I do. But when I’m in big groups and people ask me questions in front of everyone, I get super anxious. A simple fix would be to avoid those situations. But that’s not always possible.

  • you know your socially akward when crossing the street and giving a speech both give you social anxiety. im literally telling myself to act normal no one is looking at you, no one will notice, don’t stare at people, just walk across the street don’t get lost they will notice you, they will look at you and think oh she’s stupid so don’t get lost, cross when the little man is there, is he there, i cant keep looking at it or else other people will notice me being weird, but if i don’t hey might start walking an ill be lost in though, ah shoot they started walking ah i must look weird, should i wait like im waiting for someone? play it off, oh shoot, its getting to late, just go, ah you look weird don’t you, JUST MOVE UGG! and that’s literally just crossing the street wtf brain.I think i can give a speech better than i can cross a street honestly though. it would still be hell but i would have instructions to follow ya know. you cant practice life but you can have a a speech down to the letter and you can just blame it on the speech, you would be confident since you spend months working up to this point and have everything planned out, so yee i guess.

  • I have always faced low self esteem, as I never like my pictures, don’t let my friends click them for me, nor do I consider myself worth anything. I have a feeling that even those who are below me will make something out of their lives but I will still struggle and end up in a bad way. I don’t know how to cure this but hope it doesn’t take my life.

  • 1. Confront your fears.
    That’s what I did 9 years ago when I moved to another country and had to learn the local language. I was always afraid of leaving my hometown and now I had to survive living in a different country. I did survive but it totally didn’t help. I’m still as shy and self-conscious as ever

    2. Own your strengths. I play the guitar very well and speak several languages but I still don’t love myself.

    3. Set attainable goals. As mentioned in point 1, I moved to another country and told myself “if you survive there and learn the local language you will have the right to love yourself.” Well, I did survive and I do speak the local language extremely fluently but it hasn’t boosted my confidence even a bit.

    4. Help someone. It doesn’t help me. Whenever I help someone, I’m just glad to see that person smile and it gives me a short positivity rush but my confidence remains the same.

    5. Separate your weaknesses. I am just unable to accept that there are some things I’ll never be able to change. Some years ago, I hated my being overweight so I went on a diet and lost all the redundant kilograms. I was skinny but just as unhappy with myself as before. I was (actually am) still focused on the things I hate about myself. I got myself a hair transplant last year and it helped me a bit but I still would like to do my nose and the shape of my chin, so that I just don’t look like myself anymore.
    I’m currently in a hypnotherapy and it’s just not working. I feel ugly and unwanted.

    6. Stop comparing. I honestly wish I knew how to. Even as a small kid I always kept comparing myself to other children and then teenagers and adults. I’m 34 now but it never passed.

    7. Look confident. When I lost all the weight some years ago I bought myself expensive clothes, I showered every day, I took good care of myself but it hadn’t made me feel any better.

    I’m begging you, is there anyone as hopeless as me who managed to gain self-confidence? I honestly start doubting if I have it in me. It’s like growing plants. If you give it some water, it will grow, but first of all, you need to plant a seed. I feel like I don’t have that self-confidence seed in me. I can do and picture all those things from the video but it just doesn’t click within me. I seriously need help. Anyone?

  • Stop asking permission. Stop seeking validation. Stop comparing yourself to others.
    Instead, start trusting your thoughts and your own judgements of yourself. Start embracing your uniqueness.

I don’t ever disagree with people in fear that they’ll stop liking me. I conform with my peers. I always say what’s the point of confidence if your eventually going to lose anyways

  • I am about to confront my mother for treating me the way she treats me and I want to talk about my metal health and how she treats me as a child with an uncomfortable and abusive household. I am trying to get to explain my point of view to her without sobbing too much. She compares me to others, saying I don’t study and I will never succeed and go to major high schools, or colleges like Columbia university or Bronx science like my cousins.

  • If you have intrusive thoughts (recurring that cause you discomfort) don’t work on rebutting them or convincing yourself otherwise. That is the thought based disorder like OCD. Instead learn to disregard those thoughts as unimportant. Thoughts have only the weight you give them.

  • I want to share why im here couz i cant share it with anyone around me.

    Lately i feel so down, i think ive lost all my self confidence. I dont want to see my classmates anymore. Theyre always making fun of me, always comparing me to a dog. For them its just a joke and i tried my best to take it as a joke but i am really hurt. I tried my best to ignore them, after making fun of me they always say “i love you kyla”, thats their way of saying that its only a joke but i really lost my confidence because of that. Do i look like a dog? Im always crying alone where no one can see me. Im pretending infront of my family that im happy in my new school like i used to be in my previous school. Im putting this here hoping someone will understand me.
