The Routine 10 Sumo Squats 5 Jump Squats 10 Alternating Reverse Lunges (per leg) 5 Plyometric Lunges (per leg) 10 Glute Bridges 20-second Wall Sit 20 Standing Calf Raises. This Love your Legs & BOOTY Routine is perfect for fine toning your entire lower body! Lift your booty, sculpt your thighs & strengthen those sexy legs, all while increasing that metabolism! The best thing about working larger muscle groups like your legs & booty is that it helps your body burn more fat.

Stand tall, balance on one leg, bend the opposite knee, reach back to that heel and pull toward the seat. Avoid over-arching the low back. Keep abdominals in and strong. Hold for. Leg workouts are great for overall strength training, because they engage one of your biggest muscle groups, meaning you get major calorie-burn.

Go heavy on your first exercise of the day (three. A. Stand with feet hip-width apart, hands reaching in front of chest. Lift left foot forward a few inches off floor, foot flexed.

B. Squat, bending left knee 90 degrees, holding left leg to hip level in front of you. Make this move easier: Let right heel hover close to floor or hold onto a chair or wall for support.

  • For toning: do it 2-3 times per week. Don’t forget, the less the repetitions, the more toning you can have. More repetitions will make you lose weight:)

    I just wanna say thanks for this video and the pep-talk you gave. I myself always covered my butt in middle school and highschool then I started to embrace it. It is kinda sad because I didn’t embrace my curves until they became main-stream like when butts where in I all of a sudden felt cool cuz my body type was in. The obsession about butts is crazy to me because I just always had it, and when I think how women want surgery thats fine no judgment but its like jeeze when is enough enough we all cant look the same and we got to accept our differences. The amount of implants you will get will be a lot fads are constantly changing. And people are too lazy to work for things but I love that you guys have the motto of building and creating the body and life you want. but learning to love a part of my self that wasn’t accepted and now it is. Also meeting people who were jealous or didn’t me because of it made me sad. They say you never appreciate what you have and its true I could care less about curves but I am starting to love an accept them. I love my butt now!:) because I am beautiful I am bootiful and there is nothing wrong with that. After my first foot correction surgery (bunion and spur removal w/realignment) in 2009 it took almost a year to recover and I wasn’t involved with TIU back then and endured 8 weeks of painful physical therapy post 2 month of surgery healing and it took so long to get back to normal. With that being said, having my 2nd surgery on my right foot this past March of 2017 (same as above bunion & bone spur removal and realignment) and being involved with TIU since Jan of 2016, I was able to use TIU as my own physical therapy. Between the lunges and workouts on YouTube and my Beach babe DVD’s not only did I save trips to the PT office (bc basically they were having me do the same thing of lunges, stretches, and so forth) I was with my supportive TIU community and loving trainers who made me smile and not give up. I am so grateful that when I wake up, I unlike others who might not be able to, that I can put my feet on the ground, I am able to walk, I am finally able to get back to a full plank, be able to do the barre pose squat on my toes (slowly but can hold it longer than I used to be able to). I sometimes can’t believe what took me almost 1.5 yrs to recover on my 1st surgery has taken me about 6-8 months of working out and moving my foot/toes each day this 2nd time around. Even my foot doctor told me the 4th month into my recovery last year to keep doing what I was doing bc it was working. Heck, I was even working out in the boot last year, I know you all saw that 😉 Anyway, we take our feet for granted most of the time how they support us, ground us, & balance us. You don’t realize that until you can’t do what you used to do and I am thankful that for me that was a temporary situation. So, I am thankful each and every day to wake up with my feet that are getting stronger as well as my body being supported and strong! Thank you ladies! I am a stronger, more confident, smiling woman who is learning to be self aware and self loving towards all of my body parts. I love you guys! <3 Thank you so so much!   • I’m grateful for how resilient my body is. It has overcome severe spinal injuries and it is stronger than ever. I am grateful and proud of my legs, booty, and core that they have become better stabilizers to help me stand tall and get my discs to resorb back into the right places.   • A lot of their workouts are meant to be done 2-4X total, hence the low reps. Doing 1 set of 10 reps usually won’t do much, but do it through several times and it WILL give you a good workout. The only workouts that are 1X through are ones with 30 reps per move.

  • Always loved my booty and then when I lost some weight, I lost a lot of it sooooo I’m trying to get it back! I went through a bad break up this summer and started following you all along with friends in the TIU community and doing workouts, etc and it has helped sooo much! Just recently switched gears in my life with a new move, city, and job so I’m trying to get back into my routine of healthy meal preps and smoothies along with weights and workouts! I LOVE that you all incorporate so much yoga, dance with cardio, and booty & legs routines!! I became a mom at a very young and by 22 I had 4 & buying a car was Not doable so I walked & Walked ran some & walked some more to work, school, daycare!! & all those years of walking gave my legs the strength they need to workout with you gorgeous babes! ��

  • This is one of my favorites! I am so grateful for how strong my back was. My back was literally broken, my L5 separated from the rest of my spine and yet it held me up every single day and finally alerted me enough (with pain!) that something was wrong, then survived a spinal fusion and recovery to get me right back to where I left off, working out 5-6 days a week (modified but strong!). Our bodies are so incredible!

  • In moves like lunges, I get a minor pain in my left knee, and sometimes it will pop. It doesn’t hurt when it pops, but later I will find that I have a bruise there. Does anyone know what I should do?

  • I’m a bit late, but loving this channel that’s new to me! I’m thankful for my general physique and ability to gain strength quickly. I do notice now that I’m 36 it’s a bit more easy to feel sluggish. So I need to be active more often to stay young as I continue to increase in age. Maintenance is easier than repair… ��

  • that was a great workout! I love the fact that katrina doesn’t talk the whole time. she just tells you how to do the set and does it with you without screaming shrill encouragements the whole way haha the livestrong women are good though can’t say the same about other channels.

  • anyone using the word “tone” is automatically disqualified from knowing what they’re talking about. you don’t “tone up”. You either gain lean muscle mass or you don’t. Leg raises have been left in the 80s for a reason. This workout is effective if you’re a geriatric in a physical therapy pool. Don’t be afraid of actual weights, ladies. They can save your life.
