There’s no way Zumba burns 1000 calories an hour! If that was the truth weight loss and staying in shape would be so easy! Think about it; 1000 cals in an hour means that you are using nearly 17 a minute. If you are short of time and want to lose calories in just 20 minutes, an intense Zumba can help you lose approximately 200-400 calories depending on your weight in 20 minutes.

Strong by Zumba calories 1 hour ‘Strong by zumba’ is the fitness trend that will make you workout so hard that you burn up to 1000 calories in one session. How many calories can you burn with an hour of Zumba? A small 2012 study of 19 healthy female Zumba participants ages 18 to 22 burned an average of 9.5 calories.     This is a good work out… it gets you moving, sweating, and breathing but not high intensity. So if your cardio isn’t great you can still get through the whole workout.

  • imma do this for one month like for motivation and to remind me i commented this
    weight: 68 kg
    goal: 63 kg + being able to do the whole workout
    day 1: could only do 8 minutes cuz after 4 months of not doing anything it was so hard and i wanted to cry lol but i’ll try to do it for at least 10 minutes on day 2. baby steps:)
    day 2: after 3 days i still feel the pain of day 1. i realized how much i actually hate this workout and i stopped at the sixth minute.

  • This was really good.I burned about 575 calories with this workout, but I was slacking on certain parts because of my back. Definitely gonna add this workout to my weekly rotation. That corona diet had me putting on an extra 15lbs I need to kick lol.

  • When I got to high school I was sure people were getting a little older and would not bother me anymore, I went to high school far from home so no one from my elementary school would continue with me to high school. But it did not help, in the first week of high school one of the ‘acceptable’ children threw a joke at me “Say, install a crane in the building, because I do not think an elevator can lift such a weight.”
    And again I saw everyone laughing. All the sadness that went through me thoroughly returned to me. I tried to be sociable and find friends, but my appearance kept everyone away from me. Once again I found myself wandering alone and looking for myself in a world I did not belong to. In high school every girl already had someone she would go out with and I didn’t even have anyone to say hello to in the morning, let alone go out. In high school it hurt me more because even though people are growing up they are still not able to accept something that looks a little different from them.

    I got to the army, in my first shower I heard some girls whispering “Wow, how fat she is, there is no such thing. What is she unable to maintain? ”
    “Yeah it’s really inhuman the way she looks. What did she not hear about diet? ”
    Unfortunately I have already heard, and tried many times. But what to do that my body’s metabolism is so slow that even lettuce and water make me fat. You do not understand what it is like to maintain a diet and do everything to lose weight and then after a week gain weight and see that you have not lost even a pound. Do it another week and another, hear every day how fat and ugly I am. That I sweat like a cow and do not take a shower. Break down and eat and then see that instead of losing weight you gained another four pounds. There were no more tears in my eyes. I have been crying since I was a child, I have not had a happy childhood, not even adolescence. Everyone made fun of me and laughed at me. But no one has tried to know me, to see who I am and what I am worth as a human being. What do I think about what I dream about, how I deal with my uneasy reality every day.

    The biggest compliment I heard from a guy I was with was “Wow, sleeping with you is like lying on a water mattress.”
    I did not know with a smile or to be sad, whether to laugh or shed a tear. Is that a compliment? I do not think that if you are compared to a water mattress it should be a compliment

  • been going through a bunch of these popsugar workouts during quarantine, trying to get back in fighting shape. been doing a bunch of 30min videos cuz that timeframe works with my brain to keep me motivated to do them (“it’s only half an hour, so you can get through it quickly”). decided to try this 45min one since when i was previewing it, it seemed like the trainer had good energy and….holy shit this is my new favorite cardio workout. was challenging but fun, and the trainer was engaging and motivating instead of being annoying. also had enough variety to keep me focused. those high knee sprints are MURDER. 10/10 will be using again.

  • I always have this problem that I can’t regulate my body`s temperature. My muscles are fine, I could keep going, but I’m overheating.   • comments are mean so I’m gonna throw out that I worked for a brand that made those leggings but in teal…exact same leggings. The fabric is so thin it slides over top your skin and basically is making it seem like she has no muscle or excess fat bc it’s moving on top the skin.

  • 300 calories (tracked with my vivoactive 4s). I did sweat, but I wouldn’t say it’s a full body workout. Mostly focused on arms and abs. Legs were not really involved ( no squats, full kicks, jumps instead of steps things I’ve typically experienced in previous live zumba classes). Choreography is pretty much the same move but in variations, not Latin inspired. This is good for beginners or those stepping back into fitness after a long time.

  • You should invite a latin instructor, for a real rumba class, that classes are amazing and make you sweat with all the latin rhythms merengue, salsa, reggaeton, bachata, cumbia, champeta, mapale, Brazilian music, that really make you sweat. That classes are amazing because they combine the dance with cardio. This class was good but it doesn’t have anything of latin

  • I’ve been trying to do the entire 60mins for a week and I finally did it today! That feeling at the end of this workout though. Felt the burn I used to feel back in the gym now in the comfort of my own home during quarantine. Jeanette is the absolute best. No other online workout comes remotely close!   • I just want to say, I’m a high impact junkie and was so happy to find your workouts! I did them a few times a week and loved them! I never paid much attention to the low impact options, but I now find myself in fertility treatments where all I can do is low impact so I want to say thank you for always showing those options! They’re not just for beginners, it has helped keep me sane during a not so fun process. Thank you for all you do!!

  • I started watching your videos and working out when i was in highschool and now, after 10 years, even if i’m 3 months pregnant, i still do it. After every workout i feel stronger. I will continue until my body will send me signals and when my baby will be old enough, i will show him your videos, tell him that you’ve changed my life and we will workout together.
