While I wouldn’t necessarily put the stamp of “healthy” on this recipe, I can assure you that it is much healthier than traditional lasagna without compromising any of its amazing flavors, thanks to using mild-flavored zucchini as a pasta substitute.

  • How are you able to eat such delicious zucchini based recipes without having indigestion from all the fiber? I wish I could eat this but zucchini goes right thru me!

  • This turned out incredibly good. I also made a version using this vegan cashew nuts white sauce https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBNwt0QUkQQ and it was really good, I used leek instead of onions in the white sauce, for sweetness, and skipped the onion powder and the nutritional yeast (for some reason the inactive yeast I bought tastes like actual yeast). Definitely recommend trying that one as well.

  • To cook on hob / stove top. You could pre boil pasta sheets drain then use. Also layer in pan. Add a little more sauce to bottom of pan and in between sheets more moisture. There are pressure cooker lasangue receipes. Just boil pasta sheets in water drain use for stove cooked lasangue.

  • She’s got great ideas…appreciate this a lot. And, using the word “healthy” when using other ingredients that are not (meat, cheese, etc) is what so many cooks say to intice us. I hope the word “healthy” becomes used in an accurate and truthful way.

Her technique info is useful and as a Chef, I’ve learned from this you tuber… but… healthy this dish is NOT.

    Food for thought

  • I am new to cooking but I’ve been giving it a go because my first child is getting to the solid food stage. I made this with no problem, your video made it super easy to follow. It tasted great and I’m feeling alittle more confident about cooking.

  • Great recipe but to be truly vegetarian you need to leave out the Parmesan. It can only be made by using calf rennet. So many restaurants give vegetarian options on a menu that include Parmesan. It’s now illegal to do so in the UK as it’s not actually vegetarian as stated, but it still happens too often.

  • Looks like someone just found out he had a slow motion effect on his video editor ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️
And also, I was looking forward for vegan recipe ‍♀️

  • Ok.,is it just me..!?! Or does Farideh look Hot in that black tank-top. “Im just say”” …. Back to the recipe, can we use Almond Milk instead of regular.???

  • This is the best food instructional she’s made as far as being personable, having a good recipe, presenting something that’s interesting. Great job!

  • What the ** is wrong with this guy??? Whats wrong with this channel?!! Ppl are dying around the world of hunger and lack of water!! Thats not funny AT ALL! SHAME! I wish I didn’t click to see what I saw

  • You guys are gonna LOVE this recipe! I’ve been eating leftovers all week and I still can’t get enough of it. Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram when you make it I’d love to see. Enjoy! xo Lisa

  • I just made this, and OMG, it is absolutely delicious. I make my own tomato sauce with no sugar (I am doing Keto and we don’t have Rao’s in my country)… This is a game changer. Mine cooked faster than directed and I actually ended up with a slight crispy top. I sprinkled parmagiano on top with the mozz. Yum!

  • I have made this lasagne several times now and I love it! It is the best veggie lasagne ever, every time I make it it goes faster than the meat lasagne. Love the video and the format, not sure why all the comments relating to slo mo etc., keep it up Happy Pear

  • Why would my lasagna get so dry and stiff the ones on bottom n even higher ones tried two different kinds that you boil and don’t need to boil. which kind is better.. lasagna newbie

  • I gave this recipe a try even the information it’s not so complete such as how long to roast to cook the sauce and so on, too much slow motion lali lali . I’m too amateur those who need the details, but It is taste sooooo good!!! But mine is too watery. I love the taste and the mix if veggies flav is the best!! Ini ala2 chefnya ganteng2 bgt juga enggak kayak lg video iklan majalah apose gt.

  • Great recipe and video. Although it’s a year old, my garden is producing more zucchini than we can use. I’ve been looking for recipes. Very timely. This one will happen. Thanks again!!

  • Hice la receta hoy pero le quita la berenjena y agregue espinaca y hice bechamel con harina de avena quedo super delicioso y para nada pesado delicioso

  • i was impressed by seeing the number of views not knowing it is how to basic and only realized it at the end now I am disappointed cause it was not a normal video either.

  • I always put more veggies in the saus. Cut op unions, bellpeppers, carrots, leek, caulifower, greenbeans, peas, sellery, what ever sounds good and or l have left over.

  • Yaaaaamaaaaannnnnn last comment u said me sister..thanx yaman u r d besttt broooooo….muaaaaaaaahhhhh love uh so much…..hope i can meet u anyday…please yaman i reaaly want 2 mett u bhai…lots of loveee from smrityyy…pls reply bhai

  • I substituted eggplant for the zucchini. I grilled the eggplant like you did with the zucchini. I like the eggplant flavor. I remove the skin of the eggplant as it can be tough in the lasagna. Tastes great. Raos is a good sauce if you don’t want to make your own.

  • Tried this recipe, however I did add crab meat into it. It came out amazing!!!! Thank you so much for this recipe, I will definitely be trying some more of your recipes!!!

  • Hey there I’ve found a great video about making lasagna, is from The Stay Home Chef. Is by far the best video I’ve watched about cooking the most amazing lasagna, U can watch it here http://wishes2.com/ir9m

  • Hello There, I like to put cottage cheese with spinach but when I am baking lots of water comes with cottage cheese and takes forever to dry that liquid. I started to cook spinach first get all water out and bake. What should I do with cottage cheese

  • I made this and my vegetable loathing husband enjoyed it (I cut three veg into 1cm cubes), although he was momentarily disappointed that it didn’t contain beef! Easy and delicious.

  • BLEH, not a real lasagna. This is just as bad as a cottage cheese lasagna. Real lasagna has meat in it. Anything else is a counterfeit in my opinion.

  • Sorry but it’s not made by only vegetables… You use eggs in it… Sorry my friend…I am vegetarian….I am not able to make it because of eggs….

  • Amazing recipe!!!! If I’m going to ever not make my own sauce it is because RAO’s Arrabiata is sooooo delicious. I did make my own sauce for this, I also bought the kitchen aid device and copied exactly what you did with the zucchini (from my garden) lasagna noodles. I used beyond beef vegan meat cooked with some white onion. I used kite hill brand ricotta almond cheese. It was ssooooooo delicious!!!! Thank you so much from me and my vegan daughters!

  • Good organized video. Mostly healthy with the zucchinibut much of the public doesn’t realize that ground beef is NOT healthy at all. I never touch it.

  • Would you know what name “processed cheese” would go by in American supermarkets, please? We have something called “processed cheese”, but it’s very different thin, individually wrapped slices of mild orange cheese. (not very good) Is yours maybe more like finely ground parmesan or romano? Thank you.

  • Yummy..nice Video..short and simple…saved my time and learning something wonderful recipe…Guten Appetit frpm Germany

  • I rather make a vegan version of this. I use firm tofu and blend sautés spinach with fine chopped onion and fine pressed garlic and salt and adobo seasonings and Italian seasonings. For my meat I used cooked lentils I cook with chop veggies garlic and onions and cilantro.

  • I didnt clock this was how to basic, but still was like ‘asparagus and chicken in a lasagne, what kind of lasagne you making jeez’

  • This is the most vile thing I’ve ever seen. It’s not funny to waste food do you think you’re funny or something? Disgusting behaviour. Fair enough you made a meal for yourself you clearly never wanted. But is it necessary for you to throw good food and other things at it?! And what’s with sticking the carrot in the mouth of the fish? Grow up.

  • Made it and loved it! The roasted vegetables make the sauce more flavorful. If you can get past the strange editing then I would highly recommend this recipe.

  • People, please relax. Vegans or not, this recipe is awesome. And I don’t see anything wrong with showing two handsome men in slow motion. 200 degrees celsius for 30-35 minutes was enough for my lasagne.

  • No me gusta que malgastes comida de esta manera. Hay gente que no tiene ni para comer asi que si tienes comida, cometela y no la heches a perder por unos videos. Porque has malgastado comida en muchos…

  • My mouth was watering through the whole video. I would add mushrooms and fresh basil and bell peppers, just like when I make my vegetarian spaghetti.

  • Great video. I love lasagne but the thought of preparing tomato and white sauce separately is daunting. It looks great and not too complicated. Will try tonight!

  • I am Zero at cooking but still made an attempt to cook with your recipe and it was delicious…..so Thank you for the recipe and simpme method

  • Does anyone have any time limits for this thing? I don’t know how long to cook my vegetables or lasagne for and I can’t find a written recipe. Please help.

  • Why the hell would you add ginger to marinara? That’s just plain wrong man! Call me a purist but don’t mess that up, man. It’s an insult. And where is the BASIL in your marinara?? I can point many other wrong things but I guess people like you for something. Just stick to some basic. Good luck dude.

  • You should have said about the readymade sheet..when tried your receipe, the sheets did not soften and whole efforts got wasted because of the sheets….

  • This recipe looks great, but not easy to follow without any quantities of ingredients and baking/cooking times! What’s the point of the video?!

  • Don’t keep this delicious recipe to yourself! Share it with your loved ones:

  • There are no cooking times in this video?! Whats the point of listing all the ingredients and making the video with no cooking times?!

  • Thank you so much for the recipe, I love the fact that you are so detailed which is a great source, I will make this lasagna for dinner today

  • I love this recipe… can i change cucchinj with sweet potatoes..?? To sweet isn’t it..?? Or pumpkins..?? im newbie in your vlog… more easy recipe please thank you so much

    Pumpkin guy: Flamethrower?
    HTB: Nope even better EGGS!!
    Pumpkin guy:…
Then starts to do the crazy stuff in the video
Pumpkin guy: That’s it I’m leaving
If you don’t know what I mean by “pumpkin guy”
It’s that pumpkin that is very hungry and you give him the wrong thing and he says
    No! I don’t want that!

  • Bravo! Excellent Recipe. A big thank you for sharing. Our resident chefs, Loopy Lemon and Awesome Aubergine have copied this recipe into their Book of secret delights.
    WOO,
    https://youtu.be/eeT6muSZiNg

  • Check it out! This is the texture you’re looking for: slow mo of the sauce

Ahh cmon. I’ve the bechamel beside me here and I have to guess when it’s ready to be taken off the heat because I can’t tell from that slow mo shot

  • Sorry dear but the mushroom used (crimini) is like a mini portobellO and not a portobelA. Fungi is masculine so belo. A woman is bela. Capiche?

  • Why no onions or garlic? I would add these to the pasta sauce as well as the ground beef. If I made this lasagna I would probably put one layer of noodles in the middle.

  • Looks great. I’ leave out the meat though as I don’t care much for it. I’m sure it will still be spectacular. just with th cheese. I have several large zucchini in the garden ready to go.

  • A bit of a cooking tip: you know the thing she did with the garlic? Always do that to your onions. Onions have the worst texture. When they are raw they feel like a weird apple, and you shouldn’t be adding apples to your savory food (if you are one of those people who adds apples to mayo or potato salad, you should be in jail). When they are cooked they have this mushy, slimy texture, almost like a snail. But onions also make pretty much any savory dish taste better. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s impossible to cook without them, but the difference is undeniable. So always process your onions. Thar way you get all the flavor and none of the texture.

  • This yummy dish is so easy, anyone can do this child’s play! There’s so few ingredients yet so many disparate vegetables, and one processed vegetable (a jar of red capsicums), so as a vegetarian and one who can have the discriminating enjoyment of it (I’m a gourmand), I recommend a glass of shiraz to go with this curly lasagne dish. Cheers!:D

  • Pls change the description this IS vegetarian but NOT vegan!! Looks good though and could be made vegan??? just needs a couple swaps and it would be ^^’

  • I made this and it’s delicious! I cheated by using frozen grilled zucchini slices but it turned out great. It’s going to be on my menu a lot. Thank you for sharing

  • I just want to point out that I found her channel around 11 and it’s now 3:34 am I’ve been binge watching her recipes but now I’m hungry

  • Was that vegan butter, and vegan milk? Just f-ing witcha…vegan’s a dirty word where i come from (which is Maryland as well! Was so stoked to hear Farideh was from here as well)!

  • I made the recipe yesterday and it was just superb. Thanx for sharing. Although I did not have basil but still it came out fantastic

  • Your dishes are awesome…!!!:) Can u let me know which brand of mixer you use in this video….!!! I really want to.know abt the dat mixer….please let me know…please

  • Have this in the oven now! I asked hubby to pick up some zucchini at the store and he grabbed three little skinny ones. Guess I should have been more specific

My house smells amazing so I can’t wait to try it

  • Hello yaman if I use the homemade lasania sheet you made in another video in this recipe do I need to boil them or they can be use as such in oven also

  • Hey I have made pasta sheet for this recipe from your pan lasagne one.can you help me with how much time I need to bake and on what temperature. As in this oven one you arr using readymade sheet

  • This looks good, but the amount of times you add “A little Bit” of Salt is unsettling lol I will be skipping half of that salt content. Other then that it looks amazing. Thanks for the idea.

  • Tried and True… I made this last week and it was sooo good! Of course I tweaked the veggies to my liking (took out the butter squash and added another zucchini plus mushrooms) and it is so good!… For the folks saying it looks a bit dry, just add an extra can or so of tomato sauce and/or more cheese. I did both! Thank you for the recipe!

  • Tried it and the entire family loved it! One thing I will add next time is either 1-2 sliced carrots or a flat tablespoon of sugar. There was a very, very slight bitter taste (I think coming from the crushed tomatoes). I think the carrots will offset that. Great recipe.

  • Quick question i am planning to make this. Could you please tell if i can make it ahead and store it in the freezer or fridge? What’s the process and how to defrost it before serving? Please respond soon. Thank you!

  • If you cover sheets uncooked with plenty of sauce moisture you could still get away with pre boiling. Lots sauce means it spoons out sloppy unless you wait half a day then sauce naturally gets soaked up by the dish

  • Great recipe and very tasty. But I had to guess oven temperature and cooking times. Also there should be a written method of cooking along with the ingredients list.

  • I was actually really excited to see it come out of the oven then I saw it burnt and was like ok I’m not the only one who burns food

  • I have seen this video now sir. Have u posted this video without? Can u plz tell me if u have shared this? It would be a pleasure sir if u can tell me
