Since I’ve changed my eating lifestyle to eating wholesome foods, I am more aware of the ingredients in any store bought packaged foods. To be healthy one must STAY AWAY FROM all the refined foods, added sugars, hydrogenated, partially hydrogenated, & processed foods which are literally KILLING PEOPLE by attacking their health. So…. With that being said I found that those “cute” little packs of Justin’s Peanut Butter contains Roasted peanuts and palm fruit oil. Palm Fruit Oil is B.S. Bad Stuff!! It said that both the Palm Kernel oil and the Palm Fruit Oil is problematic for our health primarily due to the “processing!” RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! Both contain HIGH AMOUNTS OF SATURATED FATS!!
    Now Dani girl I must ask you…. does that sound very clean??!… And delicious??! Just asking.(shrug). I wouldn’t eat it so I sure wouldn’t feed it to my children! It’s not hard to buy your peanuts and blend them in a high speed blender and make your own fresh peanut butter. How hard is that?   • So uh… I ended up hand-peeling all of the chickpeas, and although I achieved the completely useless skill of peeling chickpeas efficiently, I wasted a lot of time. I know now that I need to “massage” my chickpeas a little bit more… thoroughly. They tasted delicious and were well worth the effort, but it’s just a little tip for y’all:)

  • I made the cookies! So so good worth the try. I couldn’t find coconut oil though so I used regular oil then found it later after I had put the cookies in too lol. Also couldn’t get coconut palm sugar so I used Splenda brown sugar. Still tasted just as good! Next time I’ll try with coconut oil and coconut suagr

  • Praise Jesus. Thank you for the advice. I am 180 and trying to get over the fact, I love eating ceral and sweets, but I need to do it less. I do like the options and avoid food with salts. My EMT/Firefighter friends told me the heartache victims are always super super high sodium levels, from chips, and obviously fast food.

  • Yeah those ‘pea crisps’ are just corn starch with a little bit of dried pea and green coloring. They’re just green cheetos, not good for you at all. Real veggie chips are sold in the Whole Foods bulk section and they look exactly like veggies (beans, green beans, carrot slices etc.).

  • I made 2 peanut butter and bananas, and halfway through I was starting to get full. I couldn’t even eat the 2nd one! Thanks Simeon!! I added a little spiced apple spread to the top of the bananas and it was a nice “icing” touch (2 Tbsp for 30 cals).
