This is bad enough in a gym, but it’s when we get outside that the constant checking of a tiny screen truly wreaks havoc, downgrading what should be a rich, elemental, and sensory experience into yet another task we need to complete to meet our daily goals for steps taken and calories burned.

  • Trying to switch up my routine this year. I have always stayed away from the stair climber because I don’t want a bigger but or thighs! I like to keep them small. What’s your thoughts on doing HIIT on the stair climber? You think it Will make a woman’s inner and outter thighs and butt bigger? Because I do not want that at all! I am pretty lean but with great muscle tone and tend to build muscle easily.

  • I noticed this a while ago when doing strength training that my fitbit would often go in the “cardio” zone if I didn’t rest between sets. Great video. Hi Kyla and Cody.

  • One thing you can do is to always have a healthy meal already cooked and ready to just be warmed up in the fridge. That way if hunger hits and I really don’t feel like cooking all I have to do is to warm something up in the microwave. I usually try to prepare one extra meal a day and then I have it either when cravings strike or I just keep it for lunch the next day. Or at the very least keep some hard boiled eggs and healthy snacks on hand.

  • Brix is THE BEST!! He’s not just talking! He actually lost 150 pounds so he’s credible! The BEST weight loss tips and advice on YouTube!

  • I think that the Plant Paradox is interesting and there are some very factual research topics in it. However, the diet itself is not sustainable, extremely expensive, and is really for people who are dealing with diseases, long term illnesses and a ton of other things. But cutting out lectins all together doesnt seem at all beneficial according to tons of other research about how these lectin infested foods, are quite good for several other things. Our bodies learn to adapt and fight off things that are toxic.. I may be wrong, and that’s okay! However, great video!

  • I’ve been on keto diet for 2 months lost 40 pounds. I have 17% body fat and now looking to gain muscle this is a perfect way for me to add healthy carbs to my diet, thank you, I was looking for something like this.

I’m 48 years old and got to the same body I had when I had 38. But will not stop here since still week after week I see results. Next step is to gym a little and see if I can still be in a 24h fasting… Thank you for all your advices!!!

  • My psychiatrist wants me to take adderall because of my depression. Thanks to this video i am scared to use it…

  • I like resistance training, and I just got my first set of kettlebells recently. I did a workout with several sets of kettlebell swings and man! I felt like I had just sprinted around the block! It was rough, but good.

I plan on getting a crossrope set for my 50th birthday this year. Love jump rope.

  • Here in Jamaica on vacation, got here today. So many unhealthy food temptations. Checked out the gym Will hit the cardio machines @ 7am.

  • I started at 180 went down to 165. Gained 5 back. My goal weight is 145. On days I don’t run or walk outside. I ride my daughters 10 speed bike in the neighborhood. If it’s raining I just dance in the house or focus on my core. Trying to drop another 10 next month.

  • I started my journey this year at Feb 7. I was 370 lbs and now I’m 252 lbs. I still have about 60 lbs to go, but at least I am getting there:)

  • I don’t like excercising….I workout for strength…but mostly so I can look bomb in my clothes…vain? Yes…..A lil shallow? Perhaps….Idon’tcare….I don’t like stuff hanging over, feeling uncomfortable in what I wear…

  • This guy keeps it simple. He’s the best advisor out there on exercise and fitness for the day to day man. I’m 5’9″ and was 205. I’m now 180 and expect to be 165 by Xmas. All following his advice.

  • It helps me in school but makes me depressed also I can tell if I’m hungry or not. Like I know I should eat but I don’t want to, then the medicine wears off and I feel like shit. All and all will help you pass.

  • I hate cardio, and rowing has been my go to. I never run. But I row 1k to 2k meters. Only caveat is you gotta get your form right.

  • Awesome advice as always! I’ve found out the boring 20-45 minutes of cardio after work is nothing compared with staying active during the day. I’ve started using ear buds and walk around during my calls instead of sitting on my butt most of the day. And I take the stairs a few times during the day and park far away.

I don’t do much cardio now. Just focus mainly on diet and lifting weights. I will do HIIT 2-3 times a week with kettle bells or battle rope. The fat is coming off now faster!

  • Hey man, I’m tryna add a little more cardio into my workouts, but I have plantar fasciitis, bad. Or I get shin splints, stitches. Tips for running, walking?

  • Yup that’s me and my nieces and nephews play games like tag freeze tag and we be sweating! You just gotta move! Good stuff. Thanks for sharing

  • I personally dislike cardio myself but walking on a treadmill on a incline is always my go too. 30-40 min max, put on a youtube video or netflix and I’m good.

  • The sports idea is true since 8th grade I would weigh above 220 pounds I felt miserable, freshman year came I joined the soccer team my coaches gave me a season of hell non stop running I knew nothing of fitness I just did something I enjoyed, the season ended in November and i didn’t notice until I stepped on the scale I dropped from 220 to 175 don’t over think it just do something you enjoy and results will come if you do your part, now I’m 160 after finally learning about fitness and health. There’s so much information out there apply some of it to your lifestyle

  • Can you still lose weight really good if you lost a lot of weight then gained not too much back but a pretty significant amount can you still lose that significant amount pretty easy

  • Plant Paradox is first not a diet, but you can lose weight because you are eating healthier, its a healing of the gut that helps with a lot of autoimmune issues BTW a BIG misconception is that you cannot eat beans. You can eat beans just pressure cook them. You can also eat nightshades just peel and seed them. Love my beans and nightshades and I do follow a Plant Paradox based diet. Phase 1 which is only for a few weeks cuts out all foods that are high in lectins but then in Phase 2 and beyond you mainly cut out all the grains. Not promoting Plant Paradox but it really isnt right to say that this way of eating you cannot eat beans, nightshades etc when in fact you can. Its all in how you cook them. The book you put a big picture of on your video even has recipes in it with these foods. So if your premise of debunking this is no beans, then you didnt read the book.:(

  • Yeah I do steady state cardio at first I was like Dahm these 25 min feels like an hour but once I had my headphones listened to music or watched vids the time went by fast

  • Sir if i do alternate day fasting than what about the protein requirement which i need after my workout? Should i workout in these days?

  • I take adderall but I make sure to use it in moderation. Even though I have ADHD. I’ve learned to funtion at work without it and only use it when I’m off and need to focus on getting stuff done. If I’m just hanging out, I never take it. What this did is allow me to funtion way more effectively than I was before without making me rely on it. On average I probably only take 1-2 doses a week. Usually on my off days to focus on getting important stuff done

  • When I started eating/living better (the DASH Diet) I used a child’s pre-divided plate and it was perfect. Also the small glass that matched my Scooby Do plate was a perfect 8 ounces. I know it might sound silly, but it worked!

  • I cannot stress walking enough!

I started walking to work everyday and man the results! i have a video up even on my channel it works wonders.

your tips are so helpful Brixx.

    keep motivating us!!!

  • This is honestly very helpful:/ I’m a powerlifter in high school and I spent all my junior year restricting and counting calories. I wouldn’t even go out bc I was afraid my friends would want to go eat somewhere that wouldn’t have the calories listed:/

  • I need 1 day a week that I can enjoy icecream & chocolate… or fish & chips… and have only that and nothing else for the day. Works fine for me

  • I feel like most people think that if they get any type of ADHD medication (amphetamines) they will automatically do better at tasks, that’s not the case at all. It does make it easier when you do the work, but won’t make it easier starting the work, if you take adderall and want to play a video game you will play the video game and enjoy it even more due to the dopamine, but if you take adderall and want to do a task you will make the task easier and more efficent.

I got ritalin a few months ago and did the tasks because I wanted to.

A friend of mine uses ritalin but he dosen’t want to do his tasks so he plays video games

Keep this in mind if you are starting on ADHD medications.

  • I got to recommend [email protected] gmail.com on http://www.nikonhackers.com who specialised in other Fields of Hacking and they are special hackers to deal with issues like cyber stalkers, credit score or stolen fund recovery jobs, any kind of social media and phone hacking. • I was hoping this video was taken down, that there was an update or some kind of retraction/correction for this video, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. I used to really love your channel, but this video made me stop watching and unsubscribe.
This video focuses almost entirely on people taking it who don’t need it and only lightly touches on how it helps people who do. It seems like it is shaming people who take it regardless of if they need it or not. While you say it was made for people who have ADHD, you don’t mention that it is ok or safe for people with ADHD to use(which many peer reviewed studies show that it is).
Demonization of Adderall across the board like this and Documentaries like “Take Your Pills” is why I am still afraid to tell people I take it for my executive function disorder. It is also the kind of thinking that prevents people like me from succeeding because my parents thought ADHD was made up to sell Adderall to kids. I was diagnosed in 4th grade and if my parents didn’t think it was fake, I may have at least gotten some therapy to learn ways to live with how my brain works instead of struggling how to teach myself to learn in a world that was not built for me. I was unable to do well in school because of my symptoms and I was just told I was lazy, which caused me to be very depressed and at times suicidal. I didn’t have a chance to go to college because my family was poor and I “wasn’t smart enough” to get any scholarships.
I have a prescription for Adderall that I NEED to do the things neurotypical people take for granted. I don’t use it to get an “edge” in anything because I need it just to be on the same playing field as people who don’t. Getting diagnosed AGAIN as an adult and getting treatment changed(and probably saved) my life. I can start and actually FINISH projects. I can achieve goals I set for myself and engage in hobbies that are fulfilling for me. My relationships are better. I can hold down a job and actually succeed at it rather than treading water.
I really hope you think about updating this video because stereotypes like the ones in this video have damaged my life in ways I can never fully repair. I would hate for that to extend to more kids like me suffering today that could be getting help.

  • People do take adderall to help them “do better” for their tests, I take it so I can pay attention and retain information in class so I can take a test.

  • If I’m walking over 10,000 steps including walking up stairs while I’m at work, do I need cardio at the gym? Someone told me I don’t but I feel if I’m not sweating I’m not doing enough.

  • Heroin is the best drug for studying. If you take a dose that won’t make you nod. Mental alertness is not the issue. It’s the way the drug makes you feel. On heroin you have the will to do any task. This obviously applies to all opioids. But there is an issue with extremely high risk of physical and psychological addiction(as you all know), is getting good grades worth it? Opiates=Suffering.

  • I feel that after my 30th i’m in my 32nd year it is so much harder to have gains as it used to be and i know that with aging it gets harder and you got to be dedicated day and night if you wanna look like a beast and focus your eating on protein as much as you can afford but eat like a beast but train all day. That is ofcourse if you wanna do it natural way.

  • Hi Brad and Jess from England congrats on your new arrival! What sort of cardio do you recommend for someone who has si joint problems

  • I do appreciate this video. There was another video that commented on taking a good look at yourself in the mirror and speaking out loud as to why I am not losing the fat. Well, I did and it comes down to pride. My line of thought is, “I worked out so hard that I should not have to say no to ANY food.” Now I do try to eat clean during the week, but the weekend is usually a bust. I’ll munch on chips (2-3 servings) with hummus while watching a movie at midnight. Overall, your videos give me hope and help me stay in line a bit more. As a healthcare professional, I appreciate all the medical/anatomical aspects of your videos. I love to train like an athletejust wish I could look closer to one, lol. I’m tired of weighing my food, or punching in the foods to the app. I just need to reach a happy medium. Thanks for all you do. Keep up the good work and stop using fake weights (Iol, just kidding-how in the hell can you look like you do w/fake weights-give me a break!) I’m having my 13 year old son watching and learning from your vlogs as well. I want him to have a healthy lifestyle from now until old age. I appreciate any recommendations you might have. Thank you!

  • I’m not gonna name YouTubers but I can think of at least 3 who have had to scroll thru and reference hundreds of studies to arrive at the same approach Jeff has been using for 30+ years.

  • I’m sorry my medication offends you. This is how amphetamine functions in a typical brain. This is not how amphetamine is applied in the neuro atypical.

    This is misleading and dangerous.

  • NT’s will pop this shit like tic tac’s so they can get a higher grade a test while the rest of us who need it are struggling to get by even if we’re on it AND we get shamed for taking it.

  • Cheers Sir.. am still in the process to understand the real and most honest relationship between food & exercise, still learning..but i realized many not aware..love & peace from malaisie..land far away.. howaever i have some questions if dont mind..so does that means 90% is food and 10% only exercise to reduce weight & how about belly story? why is it so difficult to see results to reduce belly fats & sincerely which what could i do the easiest way and yes without being a slave to the process for above 45s or 50s age? (i like this reminder really do..many of us are slaves now to soc med & hi techs stuffs already hehehe..no more rel connections & feel)..hehe.

  • I think I had these or something else and they did work while I was working I kept telling everyone to shhh when I was trying to work and would have a serious face on and I would keep saying shhh every time they tried to talk very good for me because I have adhd

  • THIS IS FAKE!!! I have thrown away my time on 100s of fake hack tools. Luckily, there is one which actually. It’s name is Instahaxor.

  • Counting calories does NOT suck. Its the only way to know for sure you’re eating what you think. I’m tired of this garbage bullshit about how the laws of thermodynamics don’t apply to human beings.

Its NOT hard to just weigh your damn food and log it in MyFitnessPal.
Its called, forming a habit. Its not obsessive. Its responsible

  • you are second channel that i subscribed becuse im on warrior diet and i do what you talk.. i hope i will improve it and you will bring little knowledge

  • Stop uploading videos such as this one, you’re not helping anybody. It is obvious that the sole working Instagram password hack program is Instahaxor.|Instahaxor is best for hacking Instagram accounts that do not have two-factor authentication.

  • Great video like always, but I have a quick question… I am 15 years old and have been going regularly to the gym for almost a year. My biceps were something that I wanted to grow, and i’ve hit a plateau. I don’t get muscle soreness the day after, and feel comfortable and a ‘pump’ doing sets with extremely high reps in the 20-30 range. When I try and lift in the under 10 range, although it is hard to do, I don’t feel anything in the biceps. Although I am just a beginner and still overall skinny, my biceps are the lacking part in my body, and something I feel somewhat insecure about. Please help!

  • The Plant Paradox is ridiculous. There are entire populations of people, like the entire continent of Africa, who live on legumes. Just cook them.

  • Hey, I’ve recently found your channel and have been getting things together to start putting what I’ve learned to test!

But if you could, could you possibly make a video on what types of exercises you should do together? Like doing certain muscle groups in a day, then switching to another group to exercise while the previous group recuperates, and so on! I’ve seen plenty of videos on what exercises to do, but I’d be really helpful to see what types of exercises I should do together if I plan on focusing on a particular muscle group on a day-to-day basis!

Appreciate the work you do for this channel!

  • Counting calories takes 5 to 7 minutes per day and you can still have junk and lose weight. I don’t know why you wouldn’t want that ‍♂️

  • Lectins and nightshades are not good for people with autoimmune disease see Dr. Sarah Ballantine PhD the Paleo Mom her research supports Dr Gundry’s theories

  • I wonder if it is possible to cure dopamine receptors naturally to be more receptive as compared to flowing dopamine down there. I wonder if this is achieved whether it stays that way or not too.

  • Love this video. I needed these tips. I’ve been doing keto/sometimes carnivore for almost a month and have been so hungry(because I’ve been doing heavy exercise, 6+ miles speedwalking per day and weight lifting 4 times or so per week). Despite this, I’ve been gaining weight, but I’m definitely going to add broccoli and sprouts to each meal to help keep me full.

  • I’m intermittent fasting since april.
I lost 9 kg thanks to the info this channel provide. Thank you so much!!
I didn’t fast every week, some of those weeks i ate a lot and because of that my muscles were growing too. But when i’m fasting i did the 4/20 with 1500 1900 kcal. Just keep your protein high and eat a lot veggies. I mean really a lot. I don’t even like veggies, so i tried to find a few that i liked and ate that every day. The veggies that i didn’t like, i put it in a smoothie with fruit.

2 whey shakes, 200gr protein most is chicken breast or eggs. And like 300 gr veggies and a lil bit (sweet) potatoes. Thats it. Every day but it doesnt have to be every week. But i do workout a lot. 5 6 a week 1.5 2 hours a day. Started with 89 kg now 80kg. Just a few kilos and i am shredded. Thanks bruh

  • You are a wise man. I love your beginners workout, and I am seeing results already When I use to model and had a dream body for a woman at 30, I walked 3 miles 4 days a week, a super long hill and pushed wheel chairs all day and cleaned alot and went dancing on the weekend. Today is my cardio, and gym workout day. Now I go to gym 3 days a week, and other days workout at home now. I am on day two of your beginners workout, and up to 80 wall push ups at least. Today I am slow walking at least 3 miles (including hills), and then going to the gym. My body only need 50 grams of carbs at most to get a good workout in. I have lost 90lbs and feel myself firming up fast. I dry fast until an hour before I break my fast. I go for a long walk while dry fasting. Until I break my fast I deal with no people, but my siblings, and I work on my books or just work in peace. I am posting my whole workout and eating plan that is working for me. I will share my pics in 30 days using your workouts and the gym 3 days a week at least. I will be back. Glad to have found your channel.

  • Excellent video, I took notes! I must ask, once we reach a weight we are happy with, how do we maintain from there? Using your methods that is.:) Can’t wait to start this method tomorrow!

  • My way: I added cardio and do IF.
Cardio is 40-45 minutes per lifting session (5 days a week) because I put netflix on my phone and do walking on an incline (most shows I watch are 40-45 mins each episode. That’s about 2000 cals per week and I don’t notice because I am catching up on my shows =P

  • Hey man im new to this channel but i was wondering what can i do about me not being able to have a good diet or nutrition. Cause of me being a high school student and being in a low income family, i find it hard to try and get a good balanced diet. Any tips?

  • I been doing HIIt workouts since January, I lost so much weight but I just have a hard getting rid of my mid section(Pooch) at the lower part of my belly…I’m seeing result everywhere else on my body..

  • couting calories is extremely easy:P after a while u will know how many calories are in a certain type of food and approximately how much u can have without even weighing it out.

  • This is honestly very helpful:/ I’m a powerlifter in high school and I spent all my junior year restricting and counting calories. I wouldn’t even go out bc I was afraid my friends would want to go eat somewhere that wouldn’t have the calories listed:/

  • Did a low carb diet when I was boxing to get down to 165 lbs (I’m 6’1″). Technically, the diet was successful but the more weight I dropped the less energy I had when sparring, so I started getting beat up pretty good. I guess what I’m saying is…CARBS GOOD.

  • If you can’t live without it(which may actually be true in this chemical’s case) it isn’t entirely inaccessible. But it will involve some work and I won’t tell you any more. Start your research and you may piece the story together.

  • Students with ADHD get to have Adderall plus extra time on exams.
International students and immigrant students with English as a second language who need extra time to understand the question and formulate the answer in a language that is foreign to them get nothing.

  • There is a large chance that the only hack tool you need to do in order to hack someone’s Instagram account is to use instahaxor. A majority of people use short passwords. When that does not work, you can try phishing, etc…

  • Can I do omad and still workout everyday reason I ask I notice more cramping when I’ve tried in past any recommendations are welcome

  • I just wanted to warn everybody about this video!!! It is fake and you should not listen to anything in it…However,if you wish to hack into a Instagram account, then you should certainly use ”instahaxor”

  • I am in LCHF diet now. I just had knee surgery and gained quite a lot of weight after that. But i tried the LCHF diet before and it worked realy good. Last year i lost about 20kg(118-98ish) from january to july, with no workout or counting calories. I ate what i wanted and how much i wanted, all i did was not eat foods that had more then 7g of carbs/100 grams. Some foods were realy fatty and processed but it worked anyway. I think my job had a lot to do with my “sucess”, i work in construction and i walk around alot i lift things allday. This time i started going to the gym i want to be smarter with my food. Found this guy and will try to implement his tips and info to my day to day basis

  • So I took em from 3rd -7th grade Nd I had to tell my parents I didn’t want to use them due to brutal head rushes has anyone else experienced the head rushes?

  • Oof what kind of a world do we live in why is like half a video spent exggeratingly convincing you why you shouldn’t want to count calories instead of just saying what he has to say

  • Fuuuuuuck he just had to mention keto every time you mention silly fads like keto and fasting, it kills your credibility, dude.

  • There is a large chance that the only thing you need to do to hack somebody’s Instagram account is to use Instahax0r. A majority of people use short passwords. If that does not work, you may try phishing, etc…

  • This is amazing really, never seen it before, so much more likely to be done on the long run than counting calories, which I didn’t even do for a whole week, but kept eating healthy. Thank you very much Jeff!

  • The people who did not need this medicine but took it anyways, shame on you. A stigma lingers around this life saving medication because of those people & this is just simply not ok. There is a reason why people are prescribed this medication. Please let us be, go find something else to take that you aren’t supposed to.

  • I love counting calories. It’s the only really efective method for losing weight, at leaste for me. Been doing it for over two months. I have no restrictions, but now I have to be responsable. If I’m at a party I have a better understanding of how many calories something has. I also know wich beers have more calories. If I want to eat more, I’ll simply have that party meal a day. No problem for someone who does intermmitent fasting.

  • FYI guysAmazon actually sells portion control plates with the portions he’s talking about! It makes it easy for follow what he’s saying. Look it up

  • Counting calories is a joke and half the battle

Simply because counting calories you burned thru some drop set, pyramid set, superset, going heavy or doing reps of weight lifting is impossible for any app or smart watch to count effectively

If you’re counting calories with out guesstimating…
    You’re eating chicken + rice

With most other foods it’s impossible

  • Did two takes of this video and somehow my fat recommendations didn’t make this cut. As always recommended, healthy fats are essential to a balanced nutrition plan. One of the biggest mistakes I made earlier in my youth (as I stated in a video on the topic) was following a no-fat diet. Now, I am sure to include them in every meal. In the example provided, you want to either cook with them (pasta in a cracked red pepper and olive oil red sauce) or add them directly (sweet potato mash with added butter). If fibrous carbs were spinach for instance, I would never eat them raw. I’d instead sautée with garlic and oil and mushrooms for more flavor. Remember, if it’s not tasty you won’t eat it long term. This defeats the purpose of establishing a game plan for PERMANENT healthy eating! I’ll publish the unseen footage on my instagram @athleanx for those interested in watching!

  • I’m 5’5 tall 70kg I’m starting to workout since August 1 I do 12km walk my home workout “wall push up., squats., sit ups., pull ups x100” I drink protein fruits 3times a day then 4pm I eat one meal pasta or brown rice., I hope I’m in the right path total I eat and drink 1.7k calories

  • Great to see you,I stepped away I lost my 32 year old son in May to a brain anurisum and he left behind 3 sons.Life has been sooo hard on me in these last years.Im going to fight to to keep standing.Ive gain weight and gotten gray.Thank you being an inspiration.

  • This is so damn helpful. Now i don’t have to tell my friends/family that i won’t be eating that (rice, potatoes) because i am a workout diet.

  • When you are done taking your “activist in a bottle” and realize that you were NEVER mentally capable to handle your career choice without it. You have to make a choice to change careers or become a life long stimulant addict.

  • Tell me, which fat retarded bastards are giving this video a thumbs down? Is it because their thumbs are so fat that they cannot hit the LIKE button and accidentally hit DISLIKE?

Starve yourselves for a month and ask for forgiveness, for you have sinned, you greedy swines.

  • Just tried out this work out and BOYEEE!! that workout worked me I couldn’t even complete the forward lunge due to yesterday’s squats work out. 590 calories burnt is not bad for first time doing this workout. Do you have any more workouts like this?? if so please advise. Thanks again!

  • You’re the reason I have started this journey for more then 1 year ago and only recently have I realised I was not subscribed…
    Shame on me!
All the respect for you and people like you who provide the internet with valuable information for free!

  • Are you a supporter of intermittent fasting? I was born with Spina Bifida and my doctor told me to avoid intermittent fasting because it is a starvation method that cannot be maintained. Thoughts?

  • Thanks love your videos i been watching since yesterday so i am new here. I so agree with loving the food u eat or it does not work. I tryed but i do have a question. Where do you leave fruit? I love fruit i wonder if thats what i am doing wrong as they r high in sugar???

  • I like your content as well as your explanation compare to other somany youtubers. I am searching for good content, so from my browsing I came to know about this, it may also helpful to our other viewer, I am requesting you all that atleast once you gothrough it and if you dont like then dont go into them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdjV_tKpRuM&t=6s

  • Dope! Thanks. I agree This is the video is was wanting. Was going to start counting calories. I still will have to as I crush my snack eating (all day long) habit. Any videos on how to wean yourself from snack eating? Is being a “grazer” ok?

  • i started at 260 at the beginning of the year now im 200 and i have never ran or anything i just hit the weights hard and never really took breaks and i ate clean so it’s possible

  • I think people should learn how to count calories and macros before doing this method. You can jam a lot of garbage into those same portions.

  • I divide up my meals to equal a total of 2000 calories
I usually make a snack equal 250 calories
    a meal equal 500 calories.
    Three meals, and two snacks
Or I change it up depending on the day. But I always drink plenty of water, and I do cardio to get the breath moving.
Fat is shed from your body through exhalation of CO2 and through water in urine.
My goal is to loose weight. Once I get to 200 lbs I will reasses, and probably adopt The athlean diet.
My goal is to run a marathon with my budy in California before the age of 40.
I am 275 lbs, 6’3”. I ran alot when I was younger. So I know that once I get down to 200lbs things will get interesting with the running distances.
    can’t wait!

  • Subscribed! I hate counting calories with a passion and have lost zero weight with my fitness pal. After watching this I’ve realised it’s probably due to the fact I’m eating low calorie but so much carbs. I only have 5 kg to lose but it’s so hard. This sounds super simple and I can still have my little pasta portion in the corner of my plate

  • also appreciate if you could simply advise the best meal plan as for normal human being to have all around lean from Am till PM..any tips or simple menus and easy to get stuff not a unique out of this world ingredients..heartfelt thanks if can get some kind reply sir..GOD BLESS YOU & FAMILY..

  • but don’t you need to eat A LOT of carbs for insulin to spike? I thought your body runs off of carbohydrates and really doesn’t want to store fat from carbohydrates unless it’s truly necessary

  • Rhodiola Garcinia Cambogia & DEET Thujon & Dark Pepper cures the Rash from the side Ingrediënts just like that are in Sigarettes….

  • Hi Brad, quick question about the DB push press and BB push press. The DB variation starts with the DBs down in more of a deadlift position whereas the BB variation starts with the bar at hip level. Is this correct?

  • I love rules of thumb. Simplifying the progress definitely helps with sticking to it.

Strange that fats have no place on your plate. Definitely makes it harder to feel
full for a mostly vegan / vegetarian diet.

  • When one starts his/her fitness journey, counting calories is extremely convenient. Once you get more knowledgeable of your food choices, it is pretty easy to just eyeball food.

  • I’ve been working out for almost a month now and although I feel stronger and lighter, I’m not seeing any physical changes. Will try to do this starting today. Thanks Jeff

  • I feel like Jeff would make a great teacher I’ve watch a few vids and he teaches you a lot in one vid and if you keep to what he teaches you, you should see progress

  • replace the startchy toxic food with high quality fat….thats your weight loss plate.also fast for at least 16 hours or more for extra benefits….search it

  • Just to clarify:
    3/12 Starch (Complex Carbs)
    4/12 Protein
    5/12 Fiber (Complex Carbs)

side note* edamame contains more protein than fiber and could be used as a protein source for a plant based/vegan/vegetarian diet. However, in this case assuming you already have your protein source edamame is also good source of fiber & good fats!

  • I’m sure you’re confusing some people. Vegetables are carbs, so where do you add them? With veggies or carbs? The health and fitness world needs to stop using the word “carbs”
And who’s gonna use their hand to measure food? Stop it lol
Just Eat real food stop counting calories, cut out all processed food and added sugar. That’s all there is to it

  • Can u please do a video on gym belts….learnt workouts such as squats and deadlifts without it could shrink your manhood….how true is this????

  • I’m embarrassed to say that about 2 years after losing a ton of weight, I’m now up quite a bit from where I got down to. 77kg instead of like 68kg, which would be healthy. It was gradual, though quicker in the autumn and winter now. It shouldn’t take me that long to get back to a healthy weight because I still have pretty good self-discipline and a rapid weight loss method of mainly fasting but having a small meat/egg+lettuce or similar dinner at the end of most days. It tends to give me about -200 grams per day.

  • Gundry is a quack in my opinion. He sells books with his lectin gimmick. Who eats raw beans?? Indians have been healthfully living on lentils and beans for thousands of years! Lentils are even mentioned in the Bible! Please don’t spend your money on that guy’s nonsense book.

  • What Happens to having fruits as snacks? For example, I eat 3 meals per day plus a snack of an apple/orange or whole-wheat biscuit, how to add this to the calorie counting if am gonna use the Palm-size method?

  • The Plant Paradox is AMAZING! Dr Gundry has done a ton of research on lectins and what they do to your body. Lectins can be cooked out by pressure cooking food like beans. I haven’t tried to soak them first. Also Dr Gundry talks about how Italians live longer by what they eat also. When I eat things with lectins now I can definitely tell. My body knows there’s something there that shouldn’t be. I like your videos. Just thought I would put my 2 cents in.

  • I personally find cardio empowering. I always tell myself ‘pain is weakness leaving the body’ whever i feel like stopping mid cardio lol it truly works. That pain is legit breaking down walls of intolerance and conditions your physical AND mental strength! Keep these vids coming Brix. Im considering documenting my journey to wellness as well.

  • if i need say 2000 calories to maintain my weight, and im on a 500 deficit, after eating the 1500 calories that day do i also need to take into account the activity i did that day like say i burned 600 calories, do i need to get that 600 calories back in food to make sure i am at 1500 no matter what?

  • walking is no joke, my friend went from 90KG+ down to a healthy 70KG. dont go to the gym for cardio tho weightlifting is so much better it will also shape your body up and get rid of that ugly skinny-fat look

  • When being on antidepressants, it made me have more feminine characteristics and more irritable but my work ethic was on point and less anxious.

  • The Plant Paradox (PP) also emphasizes gut health and anti-inflammatory. For the past few years (9 years), I was whole food plant-based, all organic, soy-free, and anti-inflammatory; I just started Plant Paradox about 10 days ago. I have Hashimoto’s (extremely difficult to lose wt) and have still lost 10 lbs already and it is not water weight! ALL of my uncomfortable symptoms immediately went away joint pain, GERD, extreme fatigue, rash, cravings, etc. I ate lots of beans, <1-2 slices of Ezekiel bread, and gluten-free organic rolled oats prior to the PP diet. I strongly believe they were all causing inflammation which was making it so unbelievably difficult to lose wt. I had only eaten the bread and oats over the past 4 years (off and on) and had tested them a few times, noting that I was much better without them though it was difficult to stay away completely lately. I was on the Mediterranean Diet for years before the going Whole Foods Plant Based and while my weight was low, I got really sick high cholesterol and autoimmunity. We can have cukes and tomatoes on the PP diet just remove the seeds (as Old Italian chefs did years ago) and the peels. A nurse practitioner told me about the PP diet which she was on and recommended to her patients I am so glad she mentioned it to me and I finally tried it, after poo-pooing it each time I saw it advertised. It has made a world of difference! I encourage you to take a deeper look at it! We have never had sound information on nutrition we only recently got rid of the food pyramid!!! I am evidence-based and there is some research to support this theory, yet not a lot because it is a young idea. I'm glad I didn't let that hold me back from trying it!
