  • It means we have to continue these 2 days like monday exercise 1 Tuesday exercise 2 Wednesday exercise 1 Thursday exercise 2… like that?

  • It is a mix between Taichi, karate and Zumba. (Hahahaha) Those exercises are very strong, but effectively for practicing every day and get a good body.

  • Liked the idea of turning envy into a positive trait. Thanks for all your inspiration. I’m always learning something new from your videos.

  • I’m an artsy hoe who loves grunge but kinda likes to be girly like how this whole video I’ve wanted to ask where you got that damn shirt *❤️ but I also love sweatpants and crops and big tees and button ups and dark colours and pastels and plaid. Help

  • Wow, I admire you. I ‘m beacoming a instructor and I am begining a practice the rutine, but there aré dime problems like i canta be a part of Sync because of Iam unemployee.

  • Where have your videos been all my life!!!! I have just discovered your channel and I absolutely adore it I’ve been binge-watching everything all day and taking notes haha!! Your content is amazing, you have such a lovely voice to listen to, and what a source of inspiration!! I’ve been trying to get my life back together after a rough path, and I’m so motivated by what you’re sharing with us. Thank you so much for that, I cannot wait to see more as you go, and I’m sure I’m going to devour your blog! Love from France!

  • I know I’m a year late but I want to thank you for this video. I’ve just finished university and this video has brought clarity in how I look at my future. I will try implement the steps you have recommended. Thanks Alieen

  • Is there someone whose style that you fit in and style that you adore are way different? That’s me…‍♀️ Maybe im not good at self objectification.

  • Really?! i am starting to wonder who is god in your life? This looks more and more like a pride thing. The lust of the flesh seems to be your focus.
Mat 6:24 “No one is able to serve two masters, for either he shall hate the one and love the other, or else he shall cleave to the one and despise the other. You are not able to serve Elohim and mammon.

Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you desire to do.

Rom 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.

Rom 8:7 Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself to the Torah of Elohim, neither indeed is it able,
Rom 8:8 and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim.

You are on a slippery slope. Torah obedience is the answer, not your self indulgence.

  • The impassioned reply can’t look the dead. Is the influence month better than the football? The utopian leg squashs into the wiggly temperature. The labored sale can’t obey the classroom.

  • Thank you so much for making this. You have provided me with structure and clarity I very much needed right now, and didn’t think I would get. Thank you so much Bill.

  • Me: “Ok, let’s do this. I put self discovery on my ToDo list and now it’s time.”
My brain: “But I don’t wanna.”
Me: “Why? Nothing wrong with this.”
    My brain: “Too cringy.”

  • I like big ideas which are useful but I don’t like the little details I’m 11 planing to grow and build a house for my parents and live with them (don’t want to marry) I’m looking for decent house designs

  • Such a great advice! I am going to check out Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast on Netflix now, I am sure it is a good show if You like it:)

  • I’m definitely saving this to watch later. Right now I’m pretty young (not even in college) but I think this will be really helpful in the future:)

Not to say that it isn’t helpful and inspiring for me rn, of course

  • This is so helpful! I am doing my first 5-10 year plan and really need this! I subscribed and shared this video! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

  • Hi..I admire John Legend. I feel like he understands life and is able to put his experiences into words that are relatable. Especially his Album Love in the Future..this is a new year for in the future..not the love I lost

  • Very interesting & helpful. Noticed the speaker a bit at odds with Larry Smith ( 6 million u-tube watched TEDx) college career counselor from Waterloo in Canada who is a “bit” more on the passion side of things.

  • It’s a huge and great investment when I decided to buy a sewing machine. I discovered that I have a thing for sewing and when I find clothes online that I like (the style and cut), I sew my own clothes. Thank you, Ashley!

  • Inspirations are like fuel to keep you going. Such an insightful video. What I liked the most is turning the negative thoughts into positive, it such a great way to learn. Superb.

  • I found that Bed and Breakfast is available on Netflix in my country. I think I’ll check it out, cool! Thanks!
Btw, I also is inspired by Sia ^.^, I really like her vocal and overall creative style. Sometimes I practice singing her songs, but somehow not that often. In my teen years music and singing were a huge part of my life. But unfortunately not anymore.

  • I admire Bang Yongguk from B. A. P. so much like I can’t even describe it in words how much respect I have for this man. A few characteristics to describe him: humble, genuine, thoughtful, shy, quiet, passionate, intelligent, kind, caring, hardworking, strong and I could go on. When he struggled he knew he had to take a step back from producing amazing music and the idol life and he knew it, nobody has forced him too. He is always there for his members and listens to them when they might have a hard time. He is just there for others, in his environment but also for people around the world through his charity work.

  • You literally just became my favorite channel and podcast. Can’t wait to watch and listen to everything! Sending so many positive vibrations your way! ✌☀️

  • What can help you get a head-start if you’re completely lost: Look into the Kibbe body types as well as your Color Season Type, then engage in endless Instagram, Reddit and Pinterest searches although many things are kinda old-fashioned, there’s good stuff in between.
These can serve as a guideline (not restriction) on what style and hues may fit you best.

  • My good advice for lower limbs, You don’t excercise it at the machine for quadriceps femoris m so frequent, why that there your a cramp is isolated, and the same point of mass is unnatural (in this mass category). You can destroy on here the knee joint. Always more natural move are better than artificial.

  • Lavedaire, I watched your videos couple of years ago. Now’s the first time I came across your channel for the last 2 years you changed a lot. I remember you telling that when you were younger your life was a mess. Two years ago you achieved a lot, was super organized, healthy, calm. But now I see even more progress! You’re superb❤️

  • Thank you for such a lovely talk. I was ‘ not knowing what to do ‘ before watching this, now have a clue to design small part of my life.

  • I am actually 25 atm, and I have experienced my parents often saying to me that exact same sentence: “You should know what you want by now!”
The kind of pressure that is expressed with that can be immense.

  • As a fan of your channel and Hyori’s bed and breakfast, I am really feeling Happy for this video. When I watch both of your videos, I always have that positive feeling. I am watching 2nd season of this show, and I definitely recommend it for you to watch) Thank you) Sorry for my bad english)

  • I have just done this with my kids, during #lockdown. I am in South Africa. I got stuck in Ulundi, while they are 600km away in Jo’burg. So I was looking for creative ways I could help them with their own self-discovery. My daughter is into Fashion Photography and my son is a Soccer Player. This worked wonders for them. Thank you very much.

  • My current style is dressing like a middle school boy in gym shorts and t-shirts all year round I think I may be the exception to not completely starting from scratch

  • I see Clothes that I like but I don’t get it cause I know I don’t have the confidence to wear it and my mom will whip me for not wearing it

  • Literally subscribing because you made a point to acknowledge that Instagram causes us to compare ourselves to others in a bad way. Good on you!!!

  • I want to try and find my own style but my dad doesn’t want me to look like a boy cause he’s having a hard time accepting that I’m bi so this is really hard for me cause he also doesn’t want me to wear crop tops.
He’s always telling me to hurry up when shopping but it’s not that I’m not looking I’m just looking for something he’ll approve of. Plus he’s conservative and in the era where all the girls wore baggy sweatpants and baggy shirts

    4.self love

Alieennn i love you (From Coimbatore,Tamilnadu,India❤️)

  • Yes, thank so much Lavendaire. In life, you will be off course most of the time. No matter how carefully you plan and organize in advance, your life will be a series of two steps forward and one step back. You will have to start, stop, go left or right, move under or over obstacles, and often retrace your steps. These are the essential experiences you require to become the kind of person you need to be to achieve any kind of lasting success. I read about that from book..!

  • I just did this exercise and it was eye-opening! I wrote about 7 people( and one fictional character cause I connect with her so deeply hehe).

  • By my experience wearing what in my opinion made me look good and fashionable has always crashed with my mother’s expectations. Dont get me wrong my mom isnt abusive or whatsoever, I love her but the fact that I dont get support of her for wearing what I want ( i adore old-fashion, classic, soft and art mom style and she is all for women showing off their silhouette, mostly skinny kinda skimpy clothing so they appear more,,fem” etc.) so it is really hard for me not to feel ugly because someone so close to me as my own mother always does and will criticize whatever I want to wear. Anyways thank you Ashley for uploading yet another great video. Keep on doing amazing darling

  • If I’m honest I thought you’d literally demand me to wear a set of clothes but NAH you are so nice and helpful! Thank you alot And boy are you glowing and GOREGOUS sista

  • My ultimate goal is to become successful in life fight my fears open up a little more, think about about the positive things that’s going in my life.. and also stop overthinking everything

  • That moment when you really love art ; music writing dancing but you also love mathematics and physics and i have no idea what to do with my lifeuh

  • The commercial youtube played before your video was for The Handmaids Tale! Pretty awesome.

I have a board that is like this exercise combined with a vision board, it’s a great representation of the vibes I want to channel.

  • Great inspiring video as usual…. I admire and was always inspired by an Egyptian scientist called Ahmed Zewail he is a Nobel prize winner and always wanted to be like him in the field of science:)

  • And what do you do if you don’t come from the first world country? How does design thinking apply to social mobility and economic inequality? Are these circumstances or?

  • Man man I am so glad I found you, I didn’t like Jose Zuniga he is too cocky. You are pure sophistication, very down to earth vibe. Thank you so much.

  • Btw, you are the first YouTuber whose channel I have turned on the notification bell just so that I don’t miss any of your very useful videos

  • I admire your discipline. i wish I could do that too. Just curious, do models gets treatment like liposuction, mesotheraphy to reduce execessfat on their bodies so it would be picture perfect? Also why is that models during their time when they weren’t models yet looks good I know thats why they became model but when they becoe officially models, thet turn into stunning people? Its like that the whole aura of a model become instant..Like if you see them on the road, you know they are models..but if they aren’t into modelling they look just above average tall people only… Cause I also see good looking ordinary people but once you see models its different.. can you tell us whats the secret?

  • Thank you so much, I’m in quarantine right now and feeling active is like a gift! This was an awesome video and love your energy. Merci!

  • This is the best Ted Talk I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for this, I’m at a time in my life where I needed to hear this. Thank you

  • Just discovered your channel a few days ago but now watching your videos is like a daily ritual to me! I appreciate your content, your choice of words, your soothing voice and your delicacy in every video. Other things is that all the topics you made really help me to overcome my quarter-life crisis. Thank you so much, and i honestly hope your channel will gain more recognition in the future cause you totally deserve that. Love youuuu

  • There are two people my age that I really admire. Shawn Mendes & James Charles. Two completly different personalities, but equally inspiring.

I like the reflected and kind personality that Shawn has after becoming a star so early on in his life. You can tell that he truly cares about other people and is a normal 19 year old inside when he talks about his problems and all that stuff in interviews. And of course I share his love for music 10/10.

James is younger than me and while he makes mistakes online it makes me realize that he really is just 18 and has the same emotional outbreaks as nearly everyone in that time of their life. He has an insane work drive and is super creative and always stayed to true to himself in a way. I think he is super grateful for every supporter. While everyone sees him as a potential drama queen I can see past that with my empathy of being the same age.

  • While I was binge watching your videos, I’ve come across this one, which is so impressive bc I’m Korean. I think you’ve got to the core of their personality, which I love about, too. Thank you for being my inspiration.

  • this video helps me a lot actually:>
like before i felt like it was useless but now she made me understand that trying on different outfits to practice is good
    i love you girl

  • Finally, its here!!! Im very surprised by the structure of the video. Everything is so well-explained like just go to the gym. Daniel you have done an amazing work, both in the gym and making this video. You really deserve more subs!!! Thank you

  • What really helped me to love article was starting reading 2min articles that taught me how to love life✨This one is my fav.

  • This was helpful, though I need to tackle more than one major goal at once right now because I let my life get too messy and negative. Dealing with a list of habits and forcing a change in routine has been working for me, though I have been building the list over time.

  • I’m generally skeptical of these “self-help” gurus, especially when the come out of Stanford, which is practically a front for the MIC. “Design your life” sounds like a variation on a theme of Jordan Peterson”s “Author your Life”. This looks like an exercise in “scientism”. Faith in science as the new prescription for everything is a novel post-modern development of our zeightgeist, a materialistic approach that ignores the collective wisdom of thousands of years of collective wisdom and rejection of the spirit, in favor of expert formuaism. I noticed the self-help racket develop into a burgeoning industry in the 1990s with Tony Robbins, full of very bad advise. I doubt self-help 2.0 with a new spin of scientism is much of an improvement. Also troubling is the tacit assumption of the inevitability of AI and robotics in our future, which suggests MIC Rand Corporation entrainment. I’m not suggesting having a closed mind or dismissing new ideas without a hearing, but to maintain a healthy skepticism and listening to alternative points of view.

  • foundation first… the true go spell of Christ

but first the false one of the world and your enemy that wants to keep you stuck in conditional low vibration love. You may have heard it said to confess with your mouth you are a sinner and you will get the free gift of “salvation” but lets be clear… Jesus never said the gift he had for you was free and he did not call it salvation… he called it your soul and he said it would cost you everything you OWN… let us get clear about what you own your conscious awareness of who you are and what you focus it on.

the true GO SPELL of the Christ is: confess with your mouth you are a SAINT and you will get the gift of your SOUL at the cost to you of everything you OWN…this misinderstood idea to “follow him”… ie: he means you should follow his lead if you want to get anywhere.near real love. he is just saying do what I am doing, Use these words to think about who you are and throw that other out. Repenting from your sin never was a “physical” idea you have to change your MIND about who you are you have to reprogram the sinner concept OUT of the system by replacing it with I am A Saint. His lead will take you away from the ideas the enemy has put into your head the programming his instruction is simple use the correct words and ideas to program yourself the cost is nothing more than your old programming walk through the door and close it behind you leaving the door open and saying I am a saint now but i used to be a sinner gives validity to the lie and therefore the liar and you will therefore remain a member of the kingdom of unconditional love. because you give him power with your belief… no part of you ever was this sinner business but you MUST claim your birthright which is sainthood there is no such thing as sin and NEVER was. This offer is a fake it til you make it offer that requires only 2 things from you you have to have a hairs breath of faith that Jesus made the way straight for you to walk into this sainthood by being THE someone who could model it for you and second you have to do it open your mouth and say it and believe

  • I am just 17 years old but I feel like, I have this urge of planning my life as early as now coz I dont think I’ll live long. And, I also feel lost and I dont like that kind of feeling. I hope your gonna help me with it.

  • Don’t care too much about the modeling part, but I do want to look good before I graduate by the end of next year. I made so many mistakes when I first started working out. Don’t want to repeat those.

  • Recently found your channel. I’m incredibly excited to have found it. I love love love the interactive part. Subscribed and excited to follow! Thank you!

  • You’re an amazing warm-up. I find it easy to give it my all when you lead because of how powerful you are in demonstration and in leading with your voice. Your backup is also amazing, I was staring at the guy in the back trying to keep up with him when you gave options lol. It felt like I was competing with him, which is why the workout turned out so great for me in the end even though I struggled on the planks no lie. My track workouts a few years ago were about as intense as these workouts are and that says a lot!

  • My summary (mixed with some own thoughts) of this talk:
    • The problem: People tend to get stuck in life and they lack the right tools. Design Thinking (DT) is such a tool.
    • Dysfunctional beliefs -> get rid of them!
    ○ You need a passion.
    ○ You should know where you’re going by now.
    ○ You must become the BEST version of yourself.
    1. The unattainable best is the enemy of all the available betters.
    • 5 Tips from DT for Life Design:
    1. Connecting the dots
    i. People want their lives to be meaningful / add up to something
ii. Exercise: Write 250 word essays on the following three questions and try to match them:
    1) Who are you (your thoughts, words, actions)?
    2) What do you believe? What’s the meaning of life? The big picture? Why are you here?
    3) What do you do in the world? Why do you work? (Not a job description) The point of working?
    2. Gravity problems: If it’s not actionable, it’s not a problem, it’s a circumstance, e. g. gravity
    i. try to reframe problems to something workable. If that doesn’t work, accept them as circumstances
    3. Thought experiment: Multiverse -> How many good lives are out there for you?
    i. Exercise: Come up with 3 great five-year-from-now versions of yourself
    1) Why 3? Good quality/quantity of follow-up ideas.
    2) 3 rubrics:
    a) Your life as it is now goes great (continue what you’re currently doing, trend-extrapolation)
    b) What would you do if a) died tomorrow, e. g. your job gets replaced by AI? Any sidehustle or talent to explore etc.?
    c) Wildcard-Plan: If neither $ nor reputation (nobody would laugh) was a restriction, what would you do/be? -> get creative!
    3) Goal: recognize the great oppotunities life has to offer, smartly implement insights from b) and c) into a), as they usually get left behind
    4. Prototyping your ideas
    i. Prototype to…
    1) …ask interesting questions: “What would it be like if I tried this?”
    2) …expose the underlying assumptions: “Is this even the thing I want (now) or is that just something I remember I wanted when I was 20?”
    3) …involve others with your ideas
    4) …sneak up on the future (because I don’t know yet if this is exactly what I want..)
ii. You can “prototype” ideas by…
    1) protoyping conversations: the future is already here, only unevenly distributed -> others are already living your future -> get in touch with them and learn
    2) prototyping experiences: test the experience (example: a 45 yo business exec attending a uni lecture to see if it feels right)
    5. Making better choices: How do you know when you know?
    i. The process of choosing well and making yourself happy:
    1. Gather & create options
    a) Deliberately (active brainstorming etc.)
    b) Serendipitious (be open for opportunities in your peripheral vision etc.)
    2. Narrow down options to a working list
    a) “When you have too many choices, you have no choice”
    b) Radically cross out all choices until 7 are left (overcome FOMO!)
    3. Choose / Pick one: Combine rational judgement (pro/contra comparisons etc.) with holistic gut feelings
    4. Let go & move on instead of agonizing (FOMO strikes again!): Consider decisions irreversible
    • Simply get curious, talk to people and try stuff!

  • Nah. By the time you’ve built multiple prototypes and asked a gamut of questions you’ve wasted time. Planning and prep work are good. But you should concentrate more on doing and refining. Would not recommend this guy’s info. He thinks too highly of himself.

  • I feel like i’m living my past self. But I’m into korean fashion but it’s not easy to find it in my country. So when I buy clothes is always what my younger self liked. I have a pinterest thing saved with clothes that I love but I can’t buy it in my country and I’m pretty sure I won’t wear it if I had the chance so I’m kinda stuck lol.

  • Hi Bill, I am writing a Pre-Employment Program for Aboriginal Women I live in northern Canada. I am getting SO much from this TED Talk. Thank you. It is very inspiring, I am delving deeper, and working through it on a personal level, so I can grasp the ideas. My hope, and My prayer which I did write in my journal yesterday I want to Learn How to be Happy! This is what I want to everyone to be, and….is one of the basic elements of the program I am writing. Rhoda:)

  • I love you so much I’d watch your videos the whole day. I have so many goals and one of them is to be consistent and focused thank you so motivate me alot❤❤

  • Finally, its here!!! Im very surprised by the structure of the video. Everything is so well-explained like just go to the gym. Daniel you have done an amazing work, both in the gym and making this video. You really deserve more subs!!! Thank you

  • Whoah! What an amazing instructor I like all of the hand signals she uses to sign to us when a new moving is coming up. And I love that her words are focused on STRENGTH and improvement, rather than slimming or changing one’s appearance. None of that “tone that booty” or “flatten that belly” nonsense. That was so much fun!

  • I’m stupid so I say you do 10-12 reps until failure..does that mean if I pick up something too light and do like 30 reps before failure, thats what I should do? and then do bigger weights on the next set? And the opposite..if I burn myself out alrdy on, lets say 5 I find something lighter and continue to 10-12 or is that 5 rep one of the sets now:p? Great video and showing what ur doing =D

  • Aileen, this video was SO helpful. I’ve been dealing with anxiety for about 2 years now and I thought that doing this was going to make me even more anxious but I WAS SO WRONG. It feels amazing to actually picture what I want and how to achieve it in a certain amount of time. I feel like I have a direction to follow and it makes me feel SO relieved. Thank you so much!

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! Most people who make videos like this start by saying “mAKe a PIntEReSt bOard oF aLL oF ThE tyPeS oF cLOthEs ThAT YoU LiKe aNd THe sTYlEs tHAt iNSpiRE yOU” and then their next step is to buy more clothes within that “style”. This was a WAYYYY more practical and effective video with clear steps on how to find your actual style!!!!

  • Love your video! I like that you focus on a natural fit look as apposed to every other work out video that is to much bulky mass..

  • My goal is to raise enough money to build my own mansion but my first goal is to finish school and go to college amd finish that too. I am only planning on to have one kid XD:)well k bye.

  • Millennials can’t imagine anything past 22? Millennials are between 22-38 right now… post millennials or gen Z are 22 & younger.

  • Like I am pretty thicc and im a liiittle bit fat and ya know I love wearing dresses and I would SOOOO wear tank tops and crop tops BUUUT my mom wouldnt let me wear something like that since I am fat and I look weird but I like how I am thicc! I would like to be just a little bit thinner!

  • I just could wear baggy pants and little crop tops showing my stomach without hating it cuz I’m not as skinny as most other girls wearing that sort of style and fearing sitting down!!

  • How should I wear shorts or skirts or dresses often? Cuz I don’t have confidence. Help me out please comment. I always wear long pants or long skirts, dresses and jackets or you know, juz not fashionable. The clothes in my closet are mostly for special occations and shirts I got from my relatives from my birthday.

  • You are the one I inspired. I watched your videos when I wanna learn new things, or when I need to make myself motivation… thank you for your sharing.

  • I loved this workout!!!! Soo disappointing that she only has ONE 30 minute workout!!! I actually felt like I was in some type of military workout because she was so on point and sharp with her moves:) we need more please!!!!

  • I made my own aesthetic is called Rose because that’s one of my middle names and it just for me. I highly recommend doing something like that if you don’t have one cohesive style.

  • all my goals are based on personal improvement. I honestly couldnt care less about money. I am a spiritual person and have always been. In fact everyone is, most of them are tuned out. I really wanna grow and become the best version of myself. and yes like you said it takes time

  • I’m so happy I’ve found this Ted talk at the right time. I am really busy designing my life and I’ve just narrowed all up to 3 choices, but I excluded what I would do if I had enough money:). New food for thought, awesome.

  • I know the competition is closed but I’m
Going to write it anyway as what you put out to the universe is more likely to come back to you… I’m writing tv and film scripts, I have anxiety disorder and life is difficult at times but I’ve been working towards my goal for 29 years, I’m making my first tv trailer next month to go to commission, you cannot succeed unless you focus and persevere and never ever give up, your videos help me as I’m on my own, thankyou and please keep making them:) x

  • I’ve finished this exercise just now and it feels calming yet refreshing.
I wrote about 4 people and one of them is you.

Your videos inspire me a lot. As an INFJ I have chaotic and loud mind so you kind of helped me deep understanding of my inner self. I want to be like you that spread positive vibes and be more confident.

Thank you for the nice content:D

  • But I can’t rest 1-2mn because after I finished the first exercise, I already did use all my energy till its failure! If I rest 1-2 mn I can’t even life a chair

  • Me encanto! Ame tu video!

  • I love that you said the qualities we aspire to attain from other people are already in ourselves and just waiting to get out! that puts less pressure in trying to become better when you already know you have it in you. Maybe just buried deep down.

  • In no particular order, here are the first 10 names that came to me:

  • I’ve lost a lot of weight during quarantine and I’m really close to my goal weight. And that means I can wear clothes I never thought I’d be able to wear. I’ve always dreamed of wearing cute clothes and not looking bland because my main focus was trying to hide my chub. I’m going to use these tips to try and get better at finding clothes that match and are cute. Thank you so much for this video.

  • Hi Aileen.. I love your video’s very much. .
I admire my principal sir who always thought of students and always fulfilled his promises to students..

  • You are amazing. This exercise really helped me to discover my true self. For me I love and respect oprah and brendon burchard they are my idols, and I added your name to my list too.

  • I want to be all the styles at once, like egirl+soft girl+anime style+cottage core+that school girl style with cute skirts and sweaters etc…

  • I’ve personally never had a style or anything that was actually mine, so I decided to change it and start finding clothes that really suit me. This video will reaaaally help me achieving this “goal” soo thank you thank you thank you! <3

  • couldnt keep up at all ahahahaha but it was fun!! i tried doing the handstand move with the guy and i DIDNT EXPECT i could do it:’) our body is amazing

  • my biggest question about fashion is that what if i dont want to make a point with my clothes? what if i dont want clothes to define me? what if the existence of cultural context on every single piece of clothing is way too much for me to hande and process? how do i find my “style” then?
minimalism also makes a statement. and a huge one. metamodernism embraces minimalism, so that makes you real trendy.
how will i ever get out of this labyrinth?

  • At grad school, our team tried to find out how to create the next best Ted talk by analysing the data about all the Ted talks published till 2016. One of our findings was that talks shorter than 20 minutes had the most views. That expalins why this one doesn’t have the number of views it should have had. One of the most insightful Ted talk I ever watched.

  • Hi. When you finish cable peck deck at 02:35, I am assuming last sets are done till muscle failure. How do you continue with cable chest flyes with break of just 1 min? For me if I do till failure, I will need atleast 3-4 mins to start the next similar muscle exercise. I am serious as the muscle does not come back online so quickly.:-)

  • This could be a great workout for people trying to gain strength but this is not a HIT workout. The intensity is too low and the exercises are too stationary.

  • Finally, its here!!! Im very surprised by the structure of the video. Everything is so wellexplained like just go to the gym. Daniel you have done an amazing work, both in the gym and making this video. You really deserve more subs!!! Thank you

  • I’m 16 and I want to get lean like you, but I don’t have time going to the gym because I’m busy practicing playing basketball! Is there any home workout?

And i usually wear a black or black and red graphic t shirt with it and any black shoes I could find

  • I love this and I’m so grateful for finding this video. I don’t regret choosing this for my new 2019 life plan. Subscribed and post notifications on!

  • Damn. Now I have another show to watch. I love Hyori and IU’s songs (:
This video is pretty interesting, I never thought about doing that. Thanks for sharing this excercise, Aileen.

  • I once found a sweater that I fell in love with and then I wore it and was essentially bullied and told I looked like a grandma. Isn’t school fun?

  • I was very hesitant to do the envy part of the exercise but the first part had amazing results so I gave it a try and now I’m crying! Those are traits I have inside of me and they are trying to get out. Thank you.

  • Can you do more of these types of excersises and journal prompts? Also, explain what “find yourself” means and what forms it comes it? I’m trying to find myself but I have no clue what that means. Thanks!!

  • It’s really a shame that this Stanford professor thinks so highly of himself as to poke fun at both community colleges and UC Berkeley when all he does is write self help guides that anybody could fart out. What a waste of an education.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this thought. I am a long listener of TED X talk but this talk really made my thinking simple regard to design my life…. Thank You

  • i havent got into the video much yet but um super happy cuz when you first said write down abt someone you admire and so the first think came to my mind was a kpop idol that i see as a role model and you continued mentioning kpop so yeah happy that i can relate much to this

  • Okay but how do you combine brightly-colored/ugly hawaiian shirts, gothy, vintage-y, frumpy oversized sweater, high functionality themes?? Cuz I LOVE all that shit

  • I really adore Gal Gadot!!! This video is really inspiring and I am happy to say that this exercise worked well for me…Thank You Aileen..

  • I really enjoy ur vids man, and this is just a question. Isn’t it bad to do this workout routine if you got a lot of time on your hands? Because I got time to workout 2-3 hours every day so doing upper body 3-4 days a week doesn’t seem optimal, same with the legs. Just want ur opinion on this matter!
As of now, I’ve been working out for 2 years ish. And I split whole body in 3 days, Chest/back, Shoulders/arms, Legs/abs then repeat.

  • Ailin you inspire me the most! Thank you for all ur videos! I love them cause i need them, to grow something better and feel stronger. Thank u.

  • I found his video’s looking for a tiege hanley review. I can honestly say, he seems like the most genuine down to earth guy on YouTube. Love the content.

  • This is such a refreshing talk! Step by step process mixed with some empowering perspectives to help us actually move forward with confidence.

I especially loved when he said “It’s not about being lucky but rather paying attention to what you are doing and also keeping your peripheral vision open because it is there that you will find interesting opportunities”.

This sums up my life right now!

Shameless plug but I have a Youtube channel where I share ideas on how to live more intentionally. Love if you guys can come along on the journey!

  • Thankyou very much! because of this video, I can plan my life much better and yeaa sometimes I got lost and just feel the empty about my life. Just remember about this quote: If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. Have a good day everyone!<3

  • Lol you’re just beating yourself up in the gym bro there are better ways to keep/develop lean muscle mass spending less time in the gym and so is the effort.
