As someone who is well into the morbidly obese (I hate that term by the way) category, these Beginner Walking Workouts have been a godsend. I’ve tried several other beginner workouts and quickly realized that “beginner” is very much a relative term. It was always so discouraging when I couldn’t even do what was supposed to be a very easy beginner workout. This, however, is something I can do, I can finish, and is building my confidence. Hi I just wanted to leave a comment as I’ve been trying to find a workout for my mum to do to try to help her diabetes, high blood pressure and other health issues and think I’ve finally found one she likes doing we are on the 10 minute one at the moment but she just said to me we’ll do the 15 tomorrow.

I discovered Leslie during the confinement period in France. I no longer went out to go walking every day so the walking sessions at home replaced my daily outings. I am at my heaviest weight ever and knee pain keeps me from walking. I am needing a stable program so that I can get moving and this is it. I needed this so badly, thank you for being a blessing. I can do five minutes and if I have to add 1 minute per exercise that’s progress, I need to get out and be able to walk again. I’m to pretty, sexy and blessed to be fat and hurting!

Thank you for the 5 min video. I became seriously ill wheel chair bound but now I am starting to walk with a cane. I. CAN. DO. THIS. I know because I just did! The five minute video is just enough after five minutes the fatigue hits but I am praying that through this work I will be able to do two 5 minute videos… then 3.. them perhaps I will be able to do the 15 min walk. Oh yeah leslie thank you so much you motivate me everyday been a month since i started do walking at home while watching your vedios i was hypothyroidism patient 2yrs back so uncontrolled gaining weight was my big problem added of medication taking pills twice a day! Couple of months ago my doctor stopped me taking meds since all my labtest results seems back to normal i was 60kgs. After a month of walking i weigh my self yesterday i lose almost 8pnds not bad and i still working on to reach my normal 50kg. And i doing this atleast 1 hr or more everyday.

I want to say i am 66 yrs. young I have fractured 2 toes on one foot and fractured my other ankle walking outdoors on uneven ground so i decided to resort to another type of workout which was this Low Impact aerobics by Leslie Sansone’s inside my house. I sarted during Xmas vacation of 2018 and was leerie of any weightloss results BUT two days ago Feb. 20th 2019 I got on our scales and WAALAAA I have dropped 11 pounds I yelled at my wife is your weight always bout the same I thought I broke the scales and they are correct about two months I lost 11 pounds. I’ve tried several other beginner workouts and quickly realized that “beginner” is very much a relative term. It was always so discouraging when I couldn’t even do what was supposed to be a very easy beginner workout. This, however, is something I can do, I can finish, and is building my confidence. I get so sad when I hear people say that Leslie talks too much, I love her! I have nearly all of her videos, and I think she is fabulous. I am excited to see so many five minute walk variations on YouTube for her now. These are great for when you need a quick break and a boost in energy. I got up to 35 mins and then had a total relapse of my Covid symptoms (nearly 4 months after I first had it ) so now starting again… Frustrating how difficult 5 mins feels again but I did it before so I know I can do it again thankyou so so much for making these workouts literally the best thing on YouTube right now ❤ xoxo
Hi I just wanted to leave a comment as I’ve been trying to find a workout for my mum to do to try to help her diabetes, high blood pressure and other health issues and think I’ve finally found one she likes doing we are on the 10 minute one at the moment but she just said to me we’ll do the 15 tomorrow.
Also my mum absolutely loves the choice of music!
I’m limited to how much walking i can do because of nerve damage in both feet from diabetes..So this video is a blessing to me because it gives me the walking exercise i need and it doesn’t affect my neuropathy.. Ty Leslie
I am suffering from PCOS. Will walking help me to lose weight? I have tried strengthening workouts but my weight doesn’t move at all…please help
Every workout video I’ve seen is too long and strenuous for me, and I end up getting discouraged and quit. But THIS is a workout that even I can do! Sure, 5 minutes isn’t much, but it’s a LOT compared to nothing. Thank you!!!

I discovered Leslie during the confinement period in France. I no longer went out to go walking every day so the walking sessions at home replaced my daily outings. Leslie is great, I regret that there are no similar shows in France! Anyone can do it and my health suffers, I now walk every day with Leslie every day at my house! Thank you!

I enjoyed it also. I’m going to do it every hour that I’m sitting on my butt. The second time I did this, it went quicker. Soon I’ll be ready for longer walks. I’m so out of shape!

I love love love your videos but I miss your longer ones! ☹️ the last 4 uploads have all been 5 minute workouts. I know 5 minute ones are important for people who may not have a lot of time but maybe space them out a little bit more? Just my opinion here but I really miss your 15-20 minute videos

Thank you so much for these videos, they are so easy to do and are ideal for when I can’t get out of the house. I can get up and do one in the morning before I go to work and one in the evening before bed, if I also walk the dog each day I should be well on track. These workouts are easy and are awesome for me, especially in this wet time of the year. Thank you again.

I am at my heaviest weight ever and knee pain keeps me from walking. I am needing a stable program so that I can get moving and this is it. I needed this so badly, thank you for being a blessing. I can do five minutes and if I have to add 1 minute per exercise that’s progress, I need to get out and be able to walk again. I’m to pretty, sexy and blessed to be fat and hurting!
Leslie Please do a few more of these 500 step walks. I use them for a warm up before weights and sometimes before bed with the kids

Thank you for the 5 min video. I became seriously ill wheel chair bound but now I am starting to walk with a cane. I. CAN. DO. THIS. I know because I just did! The five minute video is just enough after five minutes the fatigue hits but I am praying that through this work I will be able to do two 5 minute videos… then 3.. them perhaps I will be able to do the 15 min walk. I recommended your site to my neurologist because this has been the BEST therapy and even when I was in my wheelchair I moved my feet and arms with you. God Bless!
Oh my goodness, I’m so glad I found you again! I loved your videos and used them to help me lose 10% of my weight last year until an autoimmune disease decided to slap me down. In the year since I’ve regained all I lost and lost track of your channel, but I’m back at it and ready to show my body who is boss! I’m glad I found your videos again!
Trying to get back into Leslie”s workouts. This is a great way to start. Can’t do a lot at one time right now. So I will start with this 2-3 times daily and work up to a longer, more powerful walk.

Im gonna start with this walk, and them move up to more. Im 60 and I need to get some exercise, the thing I love about Leslie is she tells you that if you need too SLOW DOWN. I was doing a 5 minute march in my living room, Ill do this every other work out.

I was late doing my workout tonight and didn’t feel like I could handle even the 15 minute mile so I pulled this little number up. I ended up doing it 3 times back to back so I got in my mile and I feel great. Love indoor walking!

I am VERY sedentary have not worked out in over a year, I finished this work out and cried like a baby because I felt SO amazing and accomplished. Thank you for this. I will continue to do every day.
Oh yeah leslie thank you so much you motivate me everyday been a month since i started do walking at home while watching your vedios i was hypothyroidism patient 2yrs back so uncontrolled gaining weight was my big problem added of medication taking pills twice a day! Couple of months ago my doctor stopped me taking meds since all my labtest results seems back to normal i was 60kgs. After a month of walking i weigh my self yesterday i lose almost 8pnds not bad and i still working on to reach my normal 50kg. And i doing this atleast 1 hr or more everyday.
That’s a great walk and only takes 5 minutes. Love the idea of the exercise before every meal. That’s quite achievable.
I’m involved in a daily 10000 step challenge for the next 30 days in Australia. We are a team of ten from a weight reduction club. It really helps us to keep our weight in check.

Great video! Only 2,000 steps to make a mile. I do this in my office 2X through out the morning & afternoon, easy mile and feels good to step away from the computer!

I want to say i am 66 yrs. young I have fractured 2 toes on one foot and fractured my other ankle walking outdoors on uneven ground so i decided to resort to another type of workout which was this Low Impact aerobics by Leslie Sansone’s inside my house. I sarted during Xmas vacation of 2018 and was leerie of any weightloss results BUT two days ago Feb. 20th 2019 I got on our scales and WAALAAA I have dropped 11 pounds I yelled at my wife is your weight always bout the same I thought I broke the scales and they are correct about two months I lost 11 pounds. YAHOO. Charles Smith today is Feb. 22 2019. I AM WELL PLEASED
LESLIE! You’re not just for the women, and not just for people starting out! I’m a lifter for several long years, and while I’ve been fit and made gains, health and life have made my body fat something I have to fight with regularly; When the time for a cut comes, I don’t do crazy workouts or insane stuff. I pull out your DVDs. Even now, the routine I’m working on has 2 minute cardio called for between each exercise; so guess who I turn to fill up those 2 minutes? YOU!
