  • Tip eat bananas when they are brown to blackish they have more cancer fighting agents. And bit sweeter, if you dont like the taste of bananas wait til they are brown blackish in color. The only way i will eat them. I learned to sneak in avcado into almost everything i make. They do make good chocolate frosting!

  • Liver! How could you miss that? It’s loaded with all the iron and all the b12 you could ever need. It makes a great tasty meal sliced with bacon and onions and too many people give it to the pets. It’s the best part of the animal.

  • Ive never been a huge vegetable fan so in order to try and get my daily dosage ive been making green smoothies. Ive since seen some research stating you destroy the nutrients by blending. Any thoughts on green smoothies? I also like ginger and turmeric roots for my personal superfood list.

    2. 1 glass of milk 2% + pinch of cardamon + pinch of black pepper + 15 almonds = mix it in blender and drink it for energy boost.
    3. Cooking an organ like liver and eating it this has B12 and proteins for energy.
    3. Take a bagel and spread avocado(good fat) on it and put smoked Salomon on top and add some spice.Scramble some eggs and eat it together. Eggs give you proteins and b vitamins.

  • Something that you only hinted on when talking about taste is sugar content, do some of these taste better because sweeteners are used and if so what are the sweetness? I am a diabetic so it is important to know if these products are diabetic friendly, yes I know, I can research the ingredient list.
    I just read a review on Amazon for MacroLife macro Greens and I quote “Unfortunately, this powder blend tastes like candy. If you read the Nutritional Facts label, it says that one measuring scoop (9.4 g) contains 2g of sugar. That’s about 21%. That means that there are about 120 g of sugar in the 567 g container. How is this possible?” This is a bit confusing to me because on the Macrolife website they claim that stevia is used as a sweetener, thus, I assume that any natural sugar content must come from the plants that are used. Natural sugar is still sugar so in other words Macro greens would not be diabetic friendly because it has high sugar content? I am asking, not stating a fact.

  • What? You are eating the skin of kiwi fruit? If I did that I would be straight down to a&e. I can’t eat kiwi at all without it puffing up my lips and throat, but always assumed that somehow the hairs of the skin were causing it, even when I do my best to only eat the fruit.     But, CHERRIES? I take about half an hour to an hour to sleep each day. So when I complain I’m tired and someone asks, “When did you got to bed?”, I say 10:00, but I in fact sleep at 10:30/ 11:00.
    I don’t think I drink enough, in my opinion, and I get headaches EVERY week (usually on Monday), ever since year 3, when I began my swimming classes. These ended in Year four, but years later, I still get headaches.
    U know I think I should try all these foods, and see what happens, I would love to do that! Maybe not know but in the future….

  • I eat at least 12 of these foods that’s on the list on a consistent basis. I stopped drinking process juices five years ago. I make my own watermelon, apple, and orange juice. I have a half glass of watermelon, blueberry, strawberry, apple juice everyday. My salad or cooked vegetables usually consist of: Beets, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, purple cabbage, red, or orange bell peppers, spinach, and cauliflower. Stir fry at least three of these vegetables together for the suggested daily veggie intake. This is an old childhood rhyme that’s true beans, beans are good for your heart. Pinto beans, lentils, brown rice, wheat pasta will complete your carbohydrate intake.

  • 1. Oats are a problem, at least in the US, because EVERY oats manufacturer has been found to have cancer-causing glyphosates in their grains. So if you don’t mind a little extra cancer in the morning, have oats imported.
    2. Soy is great if you want to jack your estrogen through the roof, causing low teststosterone in men, and various cancers in women. Soy, along with sugar and alcohol, is one of the 3 things you should be removing from your diet.

  • Easily the best superfood is generally high quality organ meats >.< like grass fed beef liver or cod liver (not the oil the whole liver) although scallops are good for sure. I eat a lot of salad but if your sensitive to oxilates or have had kidney stones before avoid spinach.

Farmers are mostly rich scumbag people in case anyone doesn’t know that they probably have more money than most people’s elderly parents at least and Californians have always historically made money by attracting people there with promises of wealth and then taking what they brought so don’t think for a second that it’s not in the Californian culture to rip off a bunch of wannabes and sell them vegetables that aren’t that great for 10x the price, that’s just the California way of life. Don’t listen to this garbage you really just need to focus on getting fats in the morning drink coffee for your “superfood” vitamins because it has almost all of them and supplement by snacking on delicious berries and nuts throughout the day. Eat meat at lunch with less carbs than breakfast and tasty veggies for dinner with as much meat as you have exercised that day and therefore need and skip carbs entirely actually leaving your stomach about half full so that you aren’t digesting food just to sleep then make up for it with that nice starchy sweet breakfast again. Do this and you will easily approach the 90-year cliff, yes, there is a cliff you don’t live forever if you eat vegetables you just eat more fiber you are generally healthier and therefore slightly more likely not to die before the 90 year cliff. What I’m saying is that the foods you really need are all really delicious and pleasurable to eat that’s because your body tastes based on what it knows it needs like fats which is where energy comes from not water not fiber not vitamins. If you want to be thin all you really have to do is stop worrying so much about being full and you can literally eat whatever the fuck you want just stop trying to achieve comfort from food it’s not going to make you more comfortable it’s going to make you fat your body does that because it thinks you are preparing for winter that’s why it gets stored it’s not because being fat is a sad mean trick of life it’s just about eating at the right time and completely using the energy. All the foods that you can just find in the world are full of these amino acids it’s not complicated because everything that you can eat is made out of amino acids it’s just when you cook and bleach it into little squares of food it has lost a lot of them so honestly the trick to living as long as you can is to stop having so much anxiety just enjoy your life and let go of the need to feel full let go of the uselessness of that let go of the need to have comfort because you don’t need it, comfort is just doing something you have grown accustomed to it’s not a sign that things are going well or something worth achieving like most people think it is it’s really the opposite. What and how much body needs, body knows how and from where to obtain it. Hunger has never been an issue for this body.   • Just watch where your salmon comes from. Some farmed salmon from certain other countries are toxic as a result of the water they’re kept in and the foods they’re fed.

  • My favorite superfood is actually water. Cleanses the system. So many health benefits. Staying hydrated is essential to skin health as well, keeps a youthful-looking appearance. In this beauty-focused culture, you would think we would be on top of something like that. Almost none of my millennial friends drink straight water, even though I always offer it when they visit. It’s all about sodas, energy drinks, tea, coffee, etc. While all of those contain water, of course, the other ingredients ruin it, with the possible exception of tea. Kind of like buttering your broccoli. Broccoli is great, but if you butter it, you may be doing more harm than good. Speaking of, broccoli may be my number 2 superfood. I’m a little surprised mercury-free fish oil was not on this list, but that may technically be a mineral, not an actual food.

    I use fresh Ginger Root to help my sleep when I have trouble getting to sleep.
    In a small sauce pan add milk and a few slices of fresh Ginger Root over medium heat till milk becomes nice and hot. Pour into your favorite mug sweeten with honey and enjoy. You’ll sleep like a baby. Oh, no need to peel the Ginger Root.

  • I eat most of the foods you have included. The only 2 I do not eat are quinoa and watermelon, but will now include. I also only eat vegetables and fruits for Lent until Easter. You did not mention nuts. What about okra, sweet potatoes and coconut? They are also superfoods.

  • #1 shows a plate full of raw liver. I didn’t know you could eat it raw. I know it is best to leave it pink in the middle, otherwise it is so dry you will never get done chewing it.

  • I’m cautious on products that doesnt label the percentage of whatever it contains, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the companies “fairy dust” their products. A pinch of this in a container is useless.

    If you live somewhere that’s pretty humid, you can probably get a small glass of water form the air (that’s how it works, right?) but when it’s super hot and dry, you better have 2 bottles of water.

They make the most beautiful colored protein shakes smoothie whatever you want to call it. People get 8 to 10 glasses of water per day in the food that you eat if you eat 3 meals a day. Other drinks that are water-based also count. If list25 once my credentials I will be happy to provide them. Chia seeds can also be dangerous. You can make black garlic at home quite easily. I make kimchi and sour pickles and sauerkraut I’m black guy like I ferment a lot. You can also have vitamin A overdose. I learned overseas especially Morocco how to eat pumpkin in Savory dishes and I continue to do it now. Get a little package of dried wakame if you like me so soup rehydrated and put a piece in sliced up. I’m vegan and we all use nutritional yeast, Lots. Pound 4 pound sweet potatoes of the most nutritious item in the produce section. You can purchase Moringa powder if you’re up north like I am.

    Because that claim makes no biochemical sense. Same compound, expect same effect, the source doesn’t really matter.

    And blueberries, for instance, are made primarily of water. You need to eat a (really) LOT of it to get a decent amount of resveratrol or even vitamin C. You can have more luck with juice, or even wine.

  • Thanks for the advice on broccoli with lemon, garlic and coconut oil. Super tasteful! I also have sweet potatoes on with coconut oil. I’ll probably be able to fly later, so I’m gonna run out and buy a red cape real quick.
