i really don’t care about looking sexy. it’s more about my health. i quit smoking 3 months ago. the weight is killing me though. i decided to start logging my food on myfitnesspal for a month. but after a week i realized i had two binge days with twice the calories i actually needed. the rest were right at if not a few calories over. i decided to go on keto. first week in and the pain in my joints has gone. wish me luck! i need to lose about 100lbs as well

I am dedicating myself to walking at least 5 miles every day. I’ve done it for a month already and lost 6 pounds. I was so shocked by the weight loss because I’ve been eating pure junk. Now that I realize I can lose weight, I am going to start eating healthier and combine that with the walking.

So far I’ve lost 25 lbs with the ketogenic diet, and I’ve just ordered collagen powder from Perfect Keto. a friend of mine lost 25kg in 6 months just eating a little different(no big or hard changes to diet), but he joined on the walks, joined the walk and ever since walked 50-100 km extra a week. Now he stayed the same shape for over a year. He went from 100 kg to 75kg, massive difference. He lost 1/4 of his body weight in 6 months, no extra hardship, just walking a little more.
1lb = 3500 calories 106lb x 3500 = 371k calories to burn to lose 106lb 371k / 3months (93 days) = 3989 calories to burn everyday to lose 106lb in 3 months
SEAL weight requirement is 191lb max. He needed to burn 106lb so that means he was 297lb @ 6’1 His basal metabolic rate was 2381 calories (amount of food to eat to maintain 297lb weight) His daily meal consisted of Chicken breast, sauteed veggies, small amount of rice and a banana in the morning. That’s about 600 calories consumed daily. 2381 cal 600 cal = 1781 cal burned in a day without exercising. 3989 cal 1781 cal = 2208 calories he needed to exercise everyday while eating 600 calories of food to lose 106lb in 3 months.
= ACCORDING TO AN INTERVIEW: His average daily totals:
6 hours on the bike
2 miles swimming
2-6 miles running
3 hour circuit workout, over 1000 total combined reps
Calorie Intake: <800/day
Losing 1.25 lbs a day

Is just genetics! and depending the way you put the weight on, for example, in my family we trend to put weight in a pretty uniform way, if I get fatter, from my toes to my face will put the weight and will show up. Is cool for a point of view, because you don’t put all in one part, like some other people, but is a curse because 10 kilos + don’t look like 10 kilos, they only look like a general plumpness, and you realize your really overweight when is a loooot of weight. Also, in my family, people trend to have a super elastic skin…but me. I’m the one with the delicate super stretchmarks skin since I was in my puberty, they become super pale (because I’m pale) and they fade better than maybe someone with a darker complexion. Also, what if you have hanging skin, because you decide to get healthier and your body changed? If it bothers you huge way, and is affecting your self-stem, why not do something about it? surgery, spa treatments, creams, laser treatment? what makes you feel better with your new body. The point is getting physically and mentally healthier, hence happier with yourself for yourself.

Weight loss is as simple as calories in vs out. When you Fast for multiple days your body does burn some muscle, but your body will try to preserve as much muscle as possible. The only problem with fasting is the lack of electrolytes which can lead to headaches cramps, and in some cases heart problems. But that is easily solved with supplements.

Thank you for this Mr..Goggins. It give some real perspective on how much we can push our bodies. I did a 12.5 mile bike ride in 60 minutes (included stops at intersections for traffic lights) then I came home and did a full glute workout which I was dripping and drenched with sweat. I have goals in mind so this was what I needed to hear. I can always do 13 miles in the AM and 13 miles in the PM. I love it .

I think it’s crazy you lost 20 pounds in a month and you didn’t do any strength training and lost 100lbs in 6 months at that. I’m just wondering what your caloric deficit was during that time. I guess that’s the benefit of being young and losing weight.

ive lost 40 lbs in the past 4 months i was 260 at my heaviest now im down to 220 and i dont really see a difference but the people close to me say they can see it:/ all i see really is my double chin is smaller lol
I was always the skinny girl in school. Weighed 110 my senior year. After a couple years I put on a little weight at 22 yrs I weighed 130. had my first child at 23 gained 45lbs so I was at my heaviest weighing in at 175. I never got down to my before pregnant weight. I lost 25 lbs only still weighing in at 155lbs had my 2 child 3 yrs later and 2 more after that. Eventually I got stuck weighing in at 175 for years. My marriage and kids took all my energy. I know that’s no excuse. Maybe I didn’t put to much effort. I tried different programs and plans, pills, diets. Nothing seemed to work. So I gave up. Every time I see a video like this I get inspired. I start out good. But I end up dropping it because once again home kids and work seem to be my factor. I know again excuses excuses. So now I’m at my heaviest 265lbs. I’ve fallen in depression stress, no will power, I can’t even walk anymore with out my back hurting. I need take breaks in between when I’m doing house chores my children help me out alot. Now I feel like I’m digging up myself into an early grave.

You are so right to keep exercising everyday. I walk over 10K a day but that’s it. I don’t work or go to school so basically all i do is walk almost 5 miles a day. I am slowly working my way up to 5 miles a day. I am so close. I use to weigh 250lbs and i walked it all off by walking literally 2 hours a day. I can’t run so I walk really fast. I did get down to 145 but im back up to 170 because i didn’t keep up with walking. I stopped and eat a lot. I’m only 5 feet and 170 is to fat. I hope i lose 5 lbs a week. I am fasting for the first time tonight for 24 hours. i already lost 10lbs just by eating healthy and walking everyday (almost everyday) for 2 weeks.

I lost 42kg in 3 months back in 2015. In 2019 I had to be hospitalised for gall stones, doctors advised me that rapid weight loss is the second biggest factor (after genetics) for gall stones. Glad I lost the weight but if I could do it again I would plan the weight loss out over a much longer period.

the reason you couldnt see a difference at first is because youre tall, im 5’1″ and if i lose 10lbs i notice lol, your weight is more spread out also to help with the loose skin do a lot of weight training to build muscle!!! ive lost 60lbs so i know a little lol
I know this is an old post but it just popped up in my recommendations because I’ve been searching weightloss videos. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. I went to my doctor last week and my Blood pressure was 110/60 which is amazing especially for my size. I’m at my ropes end though and ready to take all this off and KEEP it off! 100lbs in 6 months: Probably too fast & too drastic. The speed of fat loss should be a lot slower to minimise the amount of loose skin. Whatever timespan it took to take the fat off should be the same amount of time as it took to gain all that fat to begin with;
High carb low fat is one way to go. However, there are alternatives such as a mix of the Mediterranean diet and keto or ‘healthy keto’. It offers a chance to get more micro nutrients as well as the macros. When some intermittent fasting is thrown in, there’s a better chance to switch from sugar burning and fat storage to fat burning;
Excessive cardio exercise for the sake of burning calories is problematic. Instead, use low intensity aerobic movement consistently every day/once every two days with some HIIT thrown in once or twice a week. The HIIT is to send a hormonal signal to the body to increase growth hormone and burn fat. Resistance training such as weights or body weight exercises is highly beneficial.
A pattern of eating and not eating (fasting) combined with good quality nutrition will allow the body to get healthy first before it starts letting go of the excess body fat.
These are just some points. I was worried that others inspired by you will end up copying you and having more issues with loose skin than they need to. I understand that you were worried about your health and did what you had to but also I hope you can appreciate the good intention with which I’m writing this.

Fasting is also good to avoid loose skin,I Come from a Muslim community and fasting is a part of our Religion, I’ve seen old ladies with a baby skin because they were fasting a lot.

This sounds like bullshit. You cant lose 100 lbs in 3 months. People usually top out burning 2-3 lbs of fat a week. You can’t lift weights effectively while not eating. Try it. Go 3 days without food, then go into the gym and try to do some bench presses. I’ve been there. You have no strength. And thirdly, amount of reps doesn’t fix loose skin. For people with loose skin, it’s permanent and there is no fixing it. So, lots of fairy tales going on in this interview

Did you say you get your HR up to 180? That’s toooo high. Please check with your Dr. When the heart is going that fast there is no filling time, decreased cardiac output….not good.

I, like every female, am ashamed of my breast size. After finding this particular breast enlargement technique “good vamvam site” (Google it), I tried it and taken the appropriate instructions. I did this for three months straight. After months of using the product, my breasts became tighter and bigger.
You’re an inspiration. I started at 285 about 12 weeks ago and now down to 233. My goal weight is 185. (the weight I was 15 years ago) What I am doing is just cutting out all fast food, alcohol, sugary drinks, and other processed crap. I eat a balance of lean proteins, fat and overall lower carbs. I haven’t cheated once other than a piece of hard candy every so often. I workout 6-7 days a week, with pushups and cardio and occasionally light weight training. My blood pressure (on 2 pills) went from 140/85 to 110/60-70. My A 1 C was pre diabetic level…(I get blood test in another 3 months) Even though I have about 50 to go, I feel like a million bucks. I don’t know if I will get loose skin or not because I was solid muscle 15 years ago and very fit. We shall see.

She’s absolutely correct about the fasting helping tighten loose skin. Also, she’s young and age plays a significant roll because as women get older their testosterone levels decreased and you need testosterone to build muscle and tighten skin. Not impossible as you get older, just harder. Lastly from her before you can tell the her genetics and height play a factor as well. Her weight was distributed through her body very well. She carried her weight well. However, you can also tighten loose skin by doing lots of reps when working out.
I went from 167 to 154 in a few months by just eating less. I realized I’ve been eating way more than I think and now I’m actually counting my calories and going for 1200-1300 calories a day. My goal weight is 110. Wish me luck. Also, thank you, I wouldn’t have done this without you.
I am so happy for you. I’ve just lost 74# and I’m still losing. I have stretch marks galore but, like you, no loose skin. I put that down mostly to losing very slowly and I’m over 50 and no loose skin. Lose as slow as you can, you’ll get there, and it will give your skin time to adjust. You lost weight the right way. SOS HELP. I’m 22 years old and 275lbs, 5’5”. I’m trying to get down to 150lbs or lighter. My mother had gastric bypass. She went from over 400lbs to about 170 and has had a lot of issues with loose skin. I feel so bad for her and have seen her struggle and am desperately trying to get the weight off before I get too much older, while still keeping it around 2lbs per week so I don’t shock my skin worse. At the moment I have reached my max weight of 344? With me I don’t eat breakfast and I each lunch at work but it is usually fast food. Then at dinner I have no self control and eat to much. I do not drink soda often, it is rare when I do, but I need to lose this weight. My main beverage consumption consists of water and coffee. But I am barely starting to change my lifestyle due to the weight and all the meds I am currently on.

I never had loose skin. Lost 60 lbs in 9 months. Didn’t start working out until 6 months into the journey and 40 lbs down. I started to see my body sagging. The workouts fixed that quickly but my boobs were deflated. I’m currently on a second journey and This time around I’m fearful of loose skin because my body is so different. But I know the key is really gradual fat loss and resistance training. Congrats to you lady you loook great! I’m So happy for you deciding to change your life at such a young age! Being tall has nothing to do with not having loose skin. When you do intermittent Fasting, your body goes through what’s called Autophagy. Please everyone, research it on YouTube. Everyone can do it and lose the loose skin.
It’s genetics!! I’ve watched so many of these videos and nothing she mentioned like drinking water, exercise, even what you eat have worked for others. Not even losing it too quickly is a factor because as she said herself in her first video, she lost 50lbs in two to three months, that is fast. That’s no different than that 30 in one month loss she mentioned in this video. I’m not trying to get at her and find fault, she is just trying to come up with solutions but she should have stuck with her first thought and that was GENETICS. Anyone who’s had a baby should know how their skin will bounce back! i’m nearly 50 now so i don’t hold out such luck for me but I would have no qualms about surgery to fix it.
A few years ago I was large for my height after having kids. I went on duromine and lost a lot a weight in a short time. This left me with loose skin around my stomach and hips. I stopped taking duromine and I had one more kid. Since having my last child I’ve managed to lose more weight without medication, or exercise. But I have been fasting. It’s been a year and a half since I’ve had my baby, I’ve gone down three dress sizes and no new loose skin. This is the lightest I’ve ever been in my life. In my experience fasting has been the easiest way for me to loose weight not to mention I feel lighter and more energised not consuming things like coffee during the day. Medications leave a nasty taste in your mouth all day. Make you feel synthetically energised it makes your brain feel foggy sometimes. Shakes made me feel bloated and unsatisfied. I feel like if I don’t “start my motabolism” with breakfast in the morning I don’t feel the urge to unnecessarily snack during the day, allowing me to burn off what’s already in my body. Every body works differently though.
I think some of it is genetics, some depends on how the weight is distributed, some is age. I have never lost a lot of weight but I have a lot of loose skin on my stomach from pregnancy. I had a big bump and ended up with loose skin you can’t tell at all with clothes or a one piece swimsuit but the skin is not pretty so I don’t wear bikinis.
Just got started too,lose 8.5lbs in a month,im 33y.o 5’2″ currently weigh 240lbs. Im also hoping i would not get lose skin but if ever i would have it,no biggie it will be a remembrance of my journey.

Yeah, I don’t like calorie counting either, I’m doing a metabolic confusion diet, because my body type is built to store fat, I have to confuse my metabolism so I eat high carb one day, moderate the next day, then low the next day, then you repeat that.
I also think that most people (including me) forget that you see results as you go and not just the end result, that’s one problem that always made me give up

In general I noticed people who do hero have a lot less loose skin if any. Shakes diets seem to wreak havoc on the skin. Eating for healthy food is what determines your skin as it’s literally made of what you ate 3 months again.
I’ve been losing weight since February. Down 44lbs but I still have about 80-90 pounds to lose. I am worried about having loose skin but I figure I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. I’m still determined to get to my ideal body size though. I’d rather have some loose skin then stay overweight.

I’ve lost 120 lbs before and I had no loose skin. I got fat again and now I have a target of 160 and so far no loose skin after 95 lbs.
All I do is drink plenty of water (1 2 gallons a day) and do massive cardio. I don’t lift weights yet, but I run and do elliptical 2 hours a day. I also eat pretty healthy. Honestly, I don’t know if genetics play most the part. My brother looks like the Rock, my mom looks 40 for a 60 year old woman. So I might’ve gotten lucky.
But truth be told, I wouldn’t care anyway. I’ll take stomach flaps over obesity in any lifetime. Don’t get discouraged guys:)

I think it also has to do with “how” you lose the weight and how fast. Considering you did it healthy and slow and steady you will get better results. If you stay oiled and buttered up that will eliminate stretch marks.
I do the same thing, I fast and ate no sugar during my Journey. I lost 40 lbs and no loose skin for the moment. I still have 40 lbs to loose to archieve my goal of 120lbs. But I lift weights and make Insanity for the cardio. Congrat for this amazing body, you rock girl!

your stomach looks great! i only lost about 40 pounds and had much worse jiggle even though i was just beginning of 20 and i get stretchmarks quick. Started gym now to lose the 20 pounds i gained back in 10 years and hope my stomach will looks even just close to yours
Sorry, but training all day long is actually horrible advice for weight loss and great advice for getting sick and injured for the majority of people and training your body to hold everything you eat back to fat.
I’m so sorry uneducated people think you have to have lose skin no matter what and attack you for that or think you’re lying because of that… If you lose under 100 pounds and lift weights from the beginning you most liking will NOT have lose skin. You can lose 50 pounds and will not have lose skin for sure! Losing 100 pounds is just starting to get into “loose skin” territory. NOW… those who don’t know a lot and just start walking and run and lose all their fat by running or cardio will have lose skin. Growing muscle and building muscle burns fat not only faster and longer but also will have you not have lose skin or have very little. ALSO genetics like she said plays a roll. THIS video is perfect!! Everything she said is right. Just wanted to put in some more info. I lost 100 pounds exactly and my fat was very even all over my body and I was a pre weight trainer before the weight gain so I knew what to do to lose it and I just weight trained again so I didn’t have crazy loose skin. I have a pooch on my lower belly and my genetics aren’t great so I had some loose skin on mu lower belly where my pooch was but not bad at all my friends and family say but it bothered me a shit ton so I am waiting for quarantine to lift so I can re schedule my tummy tuck. I started February at 242. Last day of the month and my weight is at 232. I changed my diet, started to do excercises at home and focused more on my mental health. It might be difficult at first, but the journey is so worth it I believe in you! ❤

However at almost 40 I have last 20 lbs to loose and NOW I’m starting to see loose skin yet not 6 yrs ago when I lost 90 lbs, huh. I wonder if the age is the factor… If love to have smooth legs and tight thights like my 25″ waist. I’m afraid to loose more weight because I dint want loose skin I’m my legs especially arms. I did note weight training is Only thing that helps BUT today’s also difficult to do with now really bad arthritis

See this is the ish that messes me up man!!! You’ve got people that SWEAR by keto and how amazing it is and that’s very low carb, high protein/fat. Then you’re saying you’re doing low fat and high carb, it’s the exact opposite. How do you know what’s best for you?

What I have noticed that many who have loose skin lost the weight way too fast (and often, and in most cases, they gain the weight back)
I have been so scared to lose weight. I was so motivated and then I saw a video of “my loose skin” and now I am terrified. This video has motivated me tho. To do it! I am young (15) and I think my genes are good with the not having loose skin (If that makes sense) because my brother was actually my weight (over 200lbs) and he lost a lot f weight and he does not have loose skin he mainly has stretch marks (as do i) so I’m gonna do it! I hope this doesn’t get lost in the comments but if you see this then help me out by liking this comment so I know someone knows my story so far

Who cares if you have loose skin or not?! You lose a RIDICULOUS amount of weight! Most people don’t do that! Everyone’s different. Even when someone does have loose skin & get it removed after their weight loss goal is reached, people hate about that too. So whatever. Be happy girl! You did without hardly any loose skin, that’s awesome and possible. They’re just jealous. Some of these people wat h these kind of videos to see someone have setbacks becajse that’s satisfying to them. They don’t want encouragement. Whatever. Keep doing you. I once heard someone said that losing it gradually helps to avoid loose skin. Genetics plays a part too. I also think exercising along with eating right helps. U can diet and lose weight but I think the exercise really helps. I saw a video that said fasting helps. Don’t quote me on any of these things, I don’t know if any is true. When I was 260 people thought I was like 200lbs, so I think that has to do with genetics and how ur body distributes fat
You are very young, and young skin bounces back fast, as long as you do the weightloss the right way. Unfortunately for me, my bounce back period is gone. lol
I have to tell you that I’ve watched a lot of weight loss videos over the years in order to inspire myself. I know I can do it and I think it really depends on where your head is at in order to follow through. That being said, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I drank lots of water, used good moisturizers, dry brushed, weight lifted, and went SLOW. If loose skin is a huge concern don’t try to drop a ton of weight in a short period of time. You’re skin needs time to bounce back as much as possible

I can lose weight if I want to but my mother won’t support me By this I mean that my mother is the one that cooks and buys food, she wont let me buy stuff like salad or spinach because she will hit me with the “estas pendeja no te los a tragar” And my mom is Mexican so she cooks food such as beans, enchiladas, pozole and all that, and it’s basically either I want to eat what she makes or starve myself
So far after having my son I’ve lost 50 plus pounds and I’ve been doing these things to help my stomach even though at the moment I do have a LITTLE like really little loose skin. 1. Dry brushing for 5 mins before my shower and I do it in upward toward the heart motions I do it especially on my lower stomach. 2. I exfoliate quite often, but I know my body sheds often and I get acne if I don’t do it constantly and I don’t want any darkening of the skin because of it. 3. Rub some type of oil or cream whatever works for you on your tummy I always use upward circle motions to apply it. I’m still doing more research but genetics is s huge part and it depends how much your skin has been stretched. Don’t be ashamed be proud of yourself!

Great job. People should realize she is YOUNG. Your skin has more elasticity. If you are older, especially after menopause, your skin has less elasticity. Age, unfortunately, does play a part. I never had to do anything if my weight fluctuated in regards to saggy skin until after 55. You can do things to help your skin along. Youth does make a difference.
My body is very similar in composition I am 5 ‘8 I have put on weight in my 30s… covid-19 did not help. This was due to 80 work weeks then injury. I tried to go vegan I was unsuccessful. Currently I’m on 1100 calorie diet 50 carbs daily, I do intermittent fasting I will have a protein shake in the morning and then I will have 4 oz of protein and 2 cups of vegetables at night. I just started last Friday going back to my intense workout routine. I am doing HiTT followed by a three to four mile run speed on treadmill 4.0-4.5. 6 days ( this was my workout before my injury I can tell you everything hurts right now but in a completely good way) I fully anticipate that I will drop weight similar to you, the calorie deficit was decided by my doctor and I. I’m going to be following you and I will definitely keep you posted on my progress as well. I am so glad I found someone on YouTube that has the same body type as I do I should be weighing 150-160( I have a high muscle composition ). I am definitely concerned about loose skin I am taking a lot of collagen, skin proteins and vitamins. I am lifting a lot of weights to tone my underarms because I realize that that is going to be a problem I am doing dry brushing as well as oiling my skin I have very dry skin so makes me more at risk for stretch marks. So I use oil instead of lotion. I can say without a doubt my body prefers oil.
Being so young is also a huge factor in not having as much loose skin especially since she lost a lot of weight in a short period of time 100lbs in 4 months is supper fast most people hope to loose that in a year.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m very glad that you lost all that weight, and you should be very proud. But…giving advice on how to lose massive amounts of weight when you were heavy for a very short time in your 20’s and lost it all in a year… I’m not sure you can relate to people who are really obese and struggle with it for years and aren’t college age.
Genetics, age, not having the weight on for decades. Many reasons that combine to let you not have loose skin:) I don’t carry the bulk of my weight on my belly but I do have a bunch there now and I know I will have loose skin when it goes away
I would have liked to see a real after. She pulls her tummy up while showing us her belly and you can tell when she first lifts her sweater there is more loose skin, cus thats real. Its okay to be self conscious about it but I dont think it’s right to come on here and hold back that loose skin when you’re making a video about it. I was size 14 and now i am a size 2 and yes i have loose skin… i really hate it! It makes me look fat when i use bikini and my inner legs also has loose skin and looks terrible!
I also suggest Moroccan spa/massage/scrub occasionally; or just using a rough loofa in the the shower; to help shed faster the old skin and to boost the blood circulation in those areas so that the body put on new healthy skin instead. Moreover, I for example prefer swimming/diving (at least in the pool) and aerobic dances (like zumba) then going to the gym machines; coz it’s more fun AND it activates the whole body circulation and strengthens all muscles At Once. Of all the things out of our control weight isn’t…we can’t grow taller…but we don’t have to be obese…put down the plate…eat once a day..forgo sugar..exercise..it’s not hard at all when you get in the habit!!

Loose skin comes from years of being fat. Like years and years! I am currently trying to lose weight from 300lbs to like 150 at least (i am tall) and I know I will 100% have loose skin. I have been chubby and chubbier and then just obese for over ten years. 100% loose skin for me. Should still lose the weight though.

I have the same goal of -100 pounds in a year and we are the same height. You’re so beautiful and an inspiration to me. I’ve gotten my blood pressure down with WFPB but I’ve gained 3 pounds in the past month. Ugh. I’m cutting back on my portions and adding exercise today. I did have some takeout a few times during that month I gained 3 pounds. And I also decided, that’s it no more unhealthy food.

I have struggled with my weight my whole life and had times of weight loss but never have done vegan. I have fasted and understand the benefits of not eating until noon as it is a mini daily fast that allows your body to detox. I read “Fit for Life” by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond…great book on how our digestive system works and the cycles. I am now following the Keto way of eating and really like it. It is similar to the vegan as you eat a lot of vegetables but no sugar, no high carb vegetables, moderate protein from meats, eggs, dairy. And very important to eat plenty of the good fats like grass fed butter, avocado’s, coconut and its oil, olives and olive oil. Our brains need the good fats as it is 90% fat. These low fat diets are giving people dementia! starving their brains..plus good fats keep us satisfied…not hungry. I think you would like it if you tried it. But what your doing is good just not good to ever eat sugar…very toxic. I did not think I could go without sugar but eating this way…I don’t miss it! That is the most surprising thing to me! I had a father that beat me abandon me, even tried to kill me, and eventually my mom found a new man, but he put me through hell ad a 14 y/o i knew he was cheating and when i called him out on it he did unbelievable things to me, i literally slept out side in the cold rain for 2 days with no sleep, and later got ran over because i fell asleep in front of a garbage, not able to seek any medical, i spent 3 weeks without anything to help me walk with a swolen leg to and from school cry with every step i took, but still knowing that i had to get used to the pain, because i atleast was still breathing.
I watched a lot of video of people that lose weight and don’t have loose skin and what they have in common is that they all drink a lot of water, now that I drink more water I see my skin getting better and drinking more water avoid water retention in the body so it help to get a flat stomach.
Something else that help is alum stone, it tighten the skin, it can also decrease body hair.
She is telling the truth! I didn’t start gaining weight until about 3 years ago when I turned 40. My entire life I only ate one meal a day and maybe a banana or apple in between…I always had apple cider vinegar or lemon juice as a salad dressing and drank it also..I see how those habits kept me full of energy and never had a problem until now where I’m double my weight due to inactive lifestyle. I’m currently starting to fast again and started it off with a probiotic 7 day fast to give myself a head start & give my organs a break, flush out toxins & start fresh! Also, you lost the weight when you were relatively young, plus you weren’t absolutely enormous. Skin has elasticity which declines with age. So if you’re young and not so big that you have rolls spilling out every which way, it’s normal to have stretch marks and no loose skin.

I remember when I was about 20 going on a yeast free diet (so had to cut out carbs). I wanted a piece of bread soooo badly I was almost crying. My parents were like ‘have it then’ and I was like ‘nooooooo!’ So I can relate there!

Same with me, I think I have food addiction and binge eating disorder because moderation does not work for me. If I eat a little bit, I’ll eat the whole thing. i really don’t care about looking sexy. it’s more about my health. i quit smoking 3 months ago. the weight is killing me though. i decided to start logging my food on myfitnesspal for a month. but after a week i realized i had two binge days with twice the calories i actually needed. the rest were right at if not a few calories over. i decided to go on keto. first week in and the pain in my joints has gone. wish me luck! i need to lose about 100lbs as well

I am dedicating myself to walking at least 5 miles every day. I’ve done it for a month already and lost 6 pounds. I was so shocked by the weight loss because I’ve been eating pure junk. Now that I realize I can lose weight, I am going to start eating healthier and combine that with the walking.

There are other people who’ve lost 100lbs and don’t have loose skin. I don’t think it’s the weight where you would have loose skin.
So far I’ve lost 25 lbs with the ketogenic diet, and I’ve just ordered collagen powder from Perfect Keto. I still have about 80 lbs to go, and I’m hoping taking the collagen powder will help me not have too much loose skin. I can’t do any ab exercises right now because I had surgery to remove my appendix 3 weeks ago.

a friend of mine lost 25kg in 6 months just eating a little different(no big or hard changes to diet), but he joined on the walks, joined the walk and ever since walked 50-100 km extra a week.
Now he stayed the same shape for over a year. He went from 100 kg to 75kg, massive difference. He lost 1/4 of his body weight in 6 months, no extra hardship, just walking a little more.
1lb = 3500 calories
106lb x 3500 = 371k calories to burn to lose 106lb
371k / 3months (93 days) = 3989 calories to burn everyday to lose 106lb in 3 months
SEAL weight requirement is 191lb max. He needed to burn 106lb so that means he was 297lb @ 6’1
His basal metabolic rate was 2381 calories (amount of food to eat to maintain 297lb weight)
His daily meal consisted of Chicken breast, sauteed veggies, small amount of rice and a banana in the morning.
That’s about 600 calories consumed daily.
2381 cal 600 cal = 1781 cal burned in a day without exercising.
3989 cal 1781 cal = 2208 calories he needed to exercise everyday while eating 600 calories of food to lose 106lb in 3 months.

Thank you for this video! I have yoyo’d the same 30lbs and I believe it’s from having a toxic relationship with calorie counting, then giving up! I was the person who would chose the chips vs apple and my anxiety had me constantly thinking of calorie counts.

Is just genetics! and depending the way you put the weight on, for example, in my family we trend to put weight in a pretty uniform way, if I get fatter, from my toes to my face will put the weight and will show up. Is cool for a point of view, because you don’t put all in one part, like some other people, but is a curse because 10 kilos + don’t look like 10 kilos, they only look like a general plumpness, and you realize your really overweight when is a loooot of weight. Also, in my family, people trend to have a super elastic skin…but me. I’m the one with the delicate super stretchmarks skin since I was in my puberty, they become super pale (because I’m pale) and they fade better than maybe someone with a darker complexion. Also, what if you have hanging skin, because you decide to get healthier and your body changed? If it bothers you huge way, and is affecting your self-stem, why not do something about it? surgery, spa treatments, creams, laser treatment? what makes you feel better with your new body. The point is getting physically and mentally healthier, hence happier with yourself for yourself.

Weight loss is as simple as calories in vs out. When you Fast for multiple days your body does burn some muscle, but your body will try to preserve as much muscle as possible. The only problem with fasting is the lack of electrolytes which can lead to headaches cramps, and in some cases heart problems. But that is easily solved with supplements.

Thank you for this Mr..Goggins. It give some real perspective on how much we can push our bodies. I did a 12.5 mile bike ride in 60 minutes (included stops at intersections for traffic lights) then I came home and did a full glute workout which I was dripping and drenched with sweat. I have goals in mind so this was what I needed to hear. I can always do 13 miles in the AM and 13 miles in the PM. I love it .

I was always the skinny girl in school. Weighed 110 my senior year. After a couple years I put on a little weight at 22 yrs I weighed 130. had my first child at 23 gained 45lbs so I was at my heaviest weighing in at 175. I never got down to my before pregnant weight. I lost 25 lbs only still weighing in at 155lbs had my 2 child 3 yrs later and 2 more after that. Eventually I got stuck weighing in at 175 for years. My marriage and kids took all my energy. I know that’s no excuse. Maybe I didn’t put to much effort. I tried different programs and plans, pills, diets. Nothing seemed to work. So I gave up. Every time I see a video like this I get inspired. I start out good. But I end up dropping it because once again home kids and work seem to be my factor. I know again excuses excuses. So now I’m at my heaviest 265lbs. I’ve fallen in depression stress, no will power, I can’t even walk anymore with out my back hurting. I need take breaks in between when I’m doing house chores my children help me out alot. Now I feel like I’m digging up myself into an early grave.

You are so right to keep exercising everyday. I walk over 10K a day but that’s it. I don’t work or go to school so basically all i do is walk almost 5 miles a day. I am slowly working my way up to 5 miles a day. I am so close. I use to weigh 250lbs and i walked it all off by walking literally 2 hours a day. I can’t run so I walk really fast. I did get down to 145 but im back up to 170 because i didn’t keep up with walking. I stopped and eat a lot. I’m only 5 feet and 170 is to fat. I hope i lose 5 lbs a week. I lost 42kg in 3 months back in 2015. In 2019 I had to be hospitalised for gall stones, doctors advised me that rapid weight loss is the second biggest factor (after genetics) for gall stones. Glad I lost the weight but if I could do it again I would plan the weight loss out over a much longer period.

100lbs in 6 months: Probably too fast & too drastic. The speed of fat loss should be a lot slower to minimise the amount of loose skin. Whatever timespan it took to take the fat off should be the same amount of time as it took to gain all that fat to begin with;
High carb low fat is one way to go. However, there are alternatives such as a mix of the Mediterranean diet and keto or ‘healthy keto’. It offers a chance to get more micro nutrients as well as the macros. When some intermittent fasting is thrown in, there’s a better chance to switch from sugar burning and fat storage to fat burning;
Excessive cardio exercise for the sake of burning calories is problematic. Instead, use low intensity aerobic movement consistently every day/once every two days with some HIIT thrown in once or twice a week. The HIIT is to send a hormonal signal to the body to increase growth hormone and burn fat. Resistance training such as weights or body weight exercises is highly beneficial.
A pattern of eating and not eating (fasting) combined with good quality nutrition will allow the body to get healthy first before it starts letting go of the excess body fat.
These are just some points. I was worried that others inspired by you will end up copying you and having more issues with loose skin than they need to. I understand that you were worried about your health and did what you had to but also I hope you can appreciate the good intention with which I’m writing this.

This sounds like bullshit. You cant lose 100 lbs in 3 months. People usually top out burning 2-3 lbs of fat a week. You can’t lift weights effectively while not eating. Try it. Go 3 days without food, then go into the gym and try to do some bench presses. I’ve been there. You have no strength. And thirdly, amount of reps doesn’t fix loose skin. For people with loose skin, it’s permanent and there is no fixing it. So, lots of fairy tales going on in this interview

I, like every female, am ashamed of my breast size. After finding this particular breast enlargement technique “good vamvam site” (Google it), I tried it and taken the appropriate instructions. I did this for three months straight. After months of using the product, my breasts became tighter and bigger.
You’re an inspiration. I started at 285 about 12 weeks ago and now down to 233. My goal weight is 185. (the weight I was 15 years ago) What I am doing is just cutting out all fast food, alcohol, sugary drinks, and other processed crap. I eat a balance of lean proteins, fat and overall lower carbs. I haven’t cheated once other than a piece of hard candy every so often. I workout 6-7 days a week, with pushups and cardio and occasionally light weight training. My blood pressure (on 2 pills) went from 140/85 to 110/60-70. My A 1 C was pre diabetic level…(I get blood test in another 3 months) Even though I have about 50 to go, I feel like a million bucks. I don’t know if I will get loose skin or not because I was solid muscle 15 years ago and very fit. We shall see.

She’s absolutely correct about the fasting helping tighten loose skin. Also, she’s young and age plays a significant roll because as women get older their testosterone levels decreased and you need testosterone to build muscle and tighten skin. Not impossible as you get older, just harder. Lastly from her before you can tell the her genetics and height play a factor as well. Her weight was distributed through her body very well. She carried her weight well. However, you can also tighten loose skin by doing lots of reps when working out.
I went from 167 to 154 in a few months by just eating less. I realized I’ve been eating way more than I think and now I’m actually counting my calories and going for 1200-1300 calories a day. My goal weight is 110. Wish me luck. Also, thank you, I wouldn’t have done this without you.
I am so happy for you. I’ve just lost 74# and I’m still losing. I have stretch marks galore but, like you, no loose skin. I put that down mostly to losing very slowly and I’m over 50 and no loose skin. Lose as slow as you can, you’ll get there, and it will give your skin time to adjust. You lost weight the right way. SOS HELP. I’m 22 years old and 275lbs, 5’5”. I’m trying to get down to 150lbs or lighter. My mother had gastric bypass. She went from over 400lbs to about 170 and has had a lot of issues with loose skin. At the moment I have reached my max weight of 344? With me I don’t eat breakfast and I each lunch at work but it is usually fast food. Then at dinner I have no self control and eat to much. I do not drink soda often, it is rare when I do, but I need to lose this weight. My main beverage consumption consists of water and coffee. But I am barely starting to change my lifestyle due to the weight and all the meds I am currently on.

Being tall has nothing to do with not having loose skin. When you do intermittent Fasting, your body goes through what’s called Autophagy. Please everyone, research it on YouTube. Everyone can do it and lose the loose skin.
It’s genetics!! I’ve watched so many of these videos and nothing she mentioned like drinking water, exercise, even what you eat have worked for others. Not even losing it too quickly is a factor because as she said herself in her first video, she lost 50lbs in two to three months, that is fast. That’s no different than that 30 in one month loss she mentioned in this video. I’m not trying to get at her and find fault, she is just trying to come up with solutions but she should have stuck with her first thought and that was GENETICS. Anyone who’s had a baby should know how their skin will bounce back! i’m nearly 50 now so i don’t hold out such luck for me but I would have no qualms about surgery to fix it.

A few years ago I was large for my height after having kids. I went on duromine and lost a lot a weight in a short time. This left me with loose skin around my stomach and hips. I stopped taking duromine and I had one more kid. Since having my last child I’ve managed to lose more weight without medication, or exercise. But I have been fasting. It’s been a year and a half since I’ve had my baby, I’ve gone down three dress sizes and no new loose skin. This is the lightest I’ve ever been in my life. In my experience fasting has been the easiest way for me to loose weight not to mention I feel lighter and more energised not consuming things like coffee during the day. Medications leave a nasty taste in your mouth all day. Make you feel synthetically energised it makes your brain feel foggy sometimes. Shakes made me feel bloated and unsatisfied. I feel like if I don’t “start my motabolism” with breakfast in the morning I don’t feel the urge to unnecessarily snack during the day, allowing me to burn off what’s already in my body. Every body works differently though.
I think some of it is genetics, some depends on how the weight is distributed, some is age. I have never lost a lot of weight but I have a lot of loose skin on my stomach from pregnancy. I had a big bump and ended up with loose skin you can’t tell at all with clothes or a one piece swimsuit but the skin is not pretty so I don’t wear bikinis.

Yeah, I don’t like calorie counting either, I’m doing a metabolic confusion diet, because my body type is built to store fat, I have to confuse my metabolism so I eat high carb one day, moderate the next day, then low the next day, then you repeat that.
I also think that most people (including me) forget that you see results as you go and not just the end result, that’s one problem that always made me give up

In general I noticed people who do hero have a lot less loose skin if any. Shakes diets seem to wreak havoc on the skin. Eating for healthy food is what determines your skin as it’s literally made of what you ate 3 months again.
I’ve been losing weight since February. Down 44lbs but I still have about 80-90 pounds to lose. I am worried about having loose skin but I figure I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. I’m still determined to get to my ideal body size though. I’d rather have some loose skin then stay overweight.

I’ve lost 120 lbs before and I had no loose skin. I got fat again and now I have a target of 160 and so far no loose skin after 95 lbs.
All I do is drink plenty of water (1 2 gallons a day) and do massive cardio. I don’t lift weights yet, but I run and do elliptical 2 hours a day. I also eat pretty healthy. Honestly, I don’t know if genetics play most the part. My brother looks like the Rock, my mom looks 40 for a 60 year old woman. So I might’ve gotten lucky.
But truth be told, I wouldn’t care anyway. I’ll take stomach flaps over obesity in any lifetime. Don’t get discouraged guys:)

I think it also has to do with “how” you lose the weight and how fast. Considering you did it healthy and slow and steady you will get better results. If you stay oiled and buttered up that will eliminate stretch marks.
I do the same thing, I fast and ate no sugar during my Journey. I lost 40 lbs and no loose skin for the moment. I still have 40 lbs to loose to archieve my goal of 120lbs. But I lift weights and make Insanity for the cardio. Congrat for this amazing body, you rock girl!

your stomach looks great! i only lost about 40 pounds and had much worse jiggle even though i was just beginning of 20 and i get stretchmarks quick. Started gym now to lose the 20 pounds i gained back in 10 years and hope my stomach will looks even just close to yours
Sorry, but training all day long is actually horrible advice for weight loss and great advice for getting sick and injured for the majority of people and training your body to hold everything you eat back to fat.

If you lose under 100 pounds and lift weights from the beginning you most liking will NOT have lose skin. You can lose 50 pounds and will not have lose skin for sure! Losing 100 pounds is just starting to get into “loose skin” territory. NOW… those who don’t know a lot and just start walking and run and lose all their fat by running or cardio will have lose skin. Growing muscle and building muscle burns fat not only faster and longer but also will have you not have lose skin or have very little. ALSO genetics like she said plays a roll.

I lost 100 pounds exactly and my fat was very even all over my body and I was a pre weight trainer before the weight gain so I knew what to do to lose it and I just weight trained again so I didn’t have crazy loose skin. I have a pooch on my lower belly and my genetics aren’t great so I had some loose skin on mu lower belly where my pooch was but not bad at all my friends and family say but it bothered me a shit ton so I am waiting for quarantine to lift so I can re schedule my tummy tuck.

I started February at 242. Last day of the month and my weight is at 232. I changed my diet, started to do excercises at home and focused more on my mental health. It might be difficult at first, but the journey is so worth it I believe in you! ❤

I have last 20 lbs to loose and NOW I’m starting to see loose skin yet not 6 yrs ago when I lost 90 lbs, huh. I wonder if the age is the factor… If love to have smooth legs and tight thights like my 25″ waist. I’m afraid to loose more weight because I dint want loose skin I’m my legs especially arms. I did note weight training is Only thing that helps BUT today’s also difficult to do with now really bad arthritis

See this is the ish that messes me up man!!! You’ve got people that SWEAR by keto and how amazing it is and that’s very low carb, high protein/fat. Then you’re saying you’re doing low fat and high carb, it’s the exact opposite. How do you know what’s best for you?

I loose huge weight for about three months now as the result of hardwork but people around me are really worried saying that my weight loss was too fast and they were really shocked…and guess what?these people doesn’t even know the effort I have exerted and after all they would say,maybe I’m sick…WHAT THE FUCK!!!

What I have noticed that many who have loose skin lost the weight way too fast (and often, and in most cases, they gain the weight back)
I have been so scared to lose weight. I was so motivated and then I saw a video of “my loose skin” and now I am terrified. This video has motivated me tho. To do it! I am young (15) and I think my genes are good with the not having loose skin (If that makes sense) because my brother was actually my weight (over 200lbs) and he lost a lot f weight and he does not have loose skin he mainly has stretch marks (as do i) so I’m gonna do it! I hope this doesn’t get lost in the comments but if you see this then help me out by liking this comment so I know someone knows my story so far

Who cares if you have loose skin or not?! You lose a RIDICULOUS amount of weight! Most people don’t do that! Everyone’s different. Even when someone does have loose skin & get it removed after their weight loss goal is reached, people hate about that too. So whatever. Be happy girl! You did without hardly any loose skin, that’s awesome and possible. They’re just jealous. Some of these people wat h these kind of videos to see someone have setbacks becajse that’s satisfying to them. They don’t want encouragement. Whatever. Keep doing you. I am trying to lose 100+ lbs & I appreciate you being so candid. Just don’t feel you have to prove ANYTHING to anyone.
I once heard someone said that losing it gradually helps to avoid loose skin. Genetics plays a part too. I also think exercising along with eating right helps. U can diet and lose weight but I think the exercise really helps. I saw a video that said fasting helps. Don’t quote me on any of these things, I don’t know if any is true. When I was 260 people thought I was like 200lbs, so I think that has to do with genetics and how ur body distributes fat
You are very young, and young skin bounces back fast, as long as you do the weightloss the right way. Unfortunately for me, my bounce back period is gone. lol
I have to tell you that I’ve watched a lot of weight loss videos over the years in order to inspire myself. I know I can do it and I think it really depends on where your head is at in order to follow through. That being said, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I’ve seen your picture circulate the internet, but just found you on Youtube today. I am so grateful to you for your honesty and advice. I seriously feel like I’m having a chat with my friend or sister. Your encouragement and honesty about the journey is so inspiring. This is a wonderful video. When I’m feeling unmotivated I try to find any excuse to stop. Loose skin is a huge one for me! All factors in whether you have loose skin or not. I drank lots of water, used good moisturizers, dry brushed, weight lifted, and went SLOW. If loose skin is a huge concern don’t try to drop a ton of weight in a short period of time. You’re skin needs time to bounce back as much as possible

I can lose weight if I want to but my mother won’t support me
By this I mean that my mother is the one that cooks and buys food, she wont let me buy stuff like salad or spinach because she will hit me with the “estas pendeja no te los a tragar”
And my mom is Mexican so she cooks food such as beans, enchiladas, pozole and all that, and it’s basically either I want to eat what she makes or starve myself
So far after having my son I’ve lost 50 plus pounds and I’ve been doing these things to help my stomach even though at the moment I do have a LITTLE like really little loose skin. 1. Dry brushing for 5 mins before my shower and I do it in upward toward the heart motions I do it especially on my lower stomach. 2. I exfoliate quite often, but I know my body sheds often and I get acne if I don’t do it constantly and I don’t want any darkening of the skin because of it. 3. Rub some type of oil or cream whatever works for you on your tummy I always use upward circle motions to apply it. I’m still doing more research but genetics is s huge part and it depends how much your skin has been stretched. Don’t be ashamed be proud of yourself!

Great job. People should realize she is YOUNG. Your skin has more elasticity. If you are older, especially after menopause, your skin has less elasticity. Age, unfortunately, does play a part. I never had to do anything if my weight fluctuated in regards to saggy skin until after 55. You can do things to help your skin along. Youth does make a difference.
My body is very similar in composition I am 5 ‘8 I have put on weight in my 30s… covid-19 did not help. This was due to 80 work weeks then injury. I tried to go vegan I was unsuccessful. Currently I’m on 1100 calorie diet 50 carbs daily, I do intermittent fasting I will have a protein shake in the morning and then I will have 4 oz of protein and 2 cups of vegetables at night. I just started last Friday going back to my intense workout routine. I am doing HiTT followed by a three to four mile run speed on treadmill 4.0-4.5. 6 days ( this was my workout before my injury I can tell you everything hurts right now but in a completely good way)
I fully anticipate that I will drop weight similar to you, the calorie deficit was decided by my doctor and I. I’m going to be following you and I will definitely keep you posted on my progress as well. I am so glad I found someone on YouTube that has the same body type as I do I should be weighing 150-160( I have a high muscle composition ). I am definitely concerned about loose skin I am taking a lot of collagen, skin proteins and vitamins. I am lifting a lot of weights to tone my underarms because I realize that that is going to be a problem I am doing dry brushing as well as oiling my skin I have very dry skin so makes me more at risk for stretch marks. So I use oil instead of lotion. I can say without a doubt my body prefers oil.
Being so young is also a huge factor in not having as much loose skin especially since she lost a lot of weight in a short period of time 100lbs in 4 months is supper fast most people hope to loose that in a year.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m very glad that you lost all that weight, and you should be very proud. But…giving advice on how to lose massive amounts of weight when you were heavy for a very short time in your 20’s and lost it all in a year… I’m not sure you can relate to people who are really obese and struggle with it for years and aren’t college age.
Genetics, age, not having the weight on for decades. Many reasons that combine to let you not have loose skin:) I don’t carry the bulk of my weight on my belly but I do have a bunch there now and I know I will have loose skin when it goes away
I would have liked to see a real after. She pulls her tummy up while showing us her belly and you can tell when she first lifts her sweater there is more loose skin, cus thats real. Its okay to be self conscious about it but I dont think it’s right to come on here and hold back that loose skin when you’re making a video about it. I was size 14 and now i am a size 2 and yes i have loose skin… i really hate it! It makes me look fat when i use bikini and my inner legs also has loose skin and looks terrible!
I also suggest Moroccan spa/massage/scrub occasionally; or just using a rough loofa in the the shower; to help shed faster the old skin and to boost the blood circulation in those areas so that the body put on new healthy skin instead. Moreover, I for example prefer swimming/diving (at least in the pool) and aerobic dances (like zumba) then going to the gym machines; coz it’s more fun AND it activates the whole body circulation and strengthens all muscles At Once. I also carry my weight in my thighs, butt, hips… I wish that wasn’t the case because it’s a little hard to lose… then again, I guess weight loss is difficult any way you look at it. I’m currently on my way to losing 70 pounds, and I’ve lost 45 so far. I also didn’t gain weight until a year ago (I was always very skinny.) Hoping to get to a healthy weight! Love your videos.
Of all the things out of our control weight isn’t…we can’t grow taller…but we don’t have to be obese…put down the plate…eat once a day..forgo sugar..exercise..it’s not hard at all when you get in the habit!!

Loose skin comes from years of being fat. Like years and years! I am currently trying to lose weight from 300lbs to like 150 at least (i am tall) and I know I will 100% have loose skin. I have been chubby and chubbier and then just obese for over ten years. 100% loose skin for me. Should still lose the weight though.

I have the same goal of -100 pounds in a year and we are the same height. You’re so beautiful and an inspiration to me. I’ve gotten my blood pressure down with WFPB but I’ve gained 3 pounds in the past month. Ugh. I’m cutting back on my portions and adding exercise today. I did have some takeout a few times during that month I gained 3 pounds. And I also decided, that’s it no more unhealthy food.

I love how your so open and honest, super sweet!! You are very strong and smart too!! Really great how you do research and are open to learning. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and had times of weight loss but never have done vegan. I have fasted and understand the benefits of not eating until noon as it is a mini daily fast that allows your body to detox. I read “Fit for Life” by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond…great book on how our digestive system works and the cycles. I am now following the Keto way of eating and really like it. It is similar to the vegan as you eat a lot of vegetables but no sugar, no high carb vegetables, moderate protein from meats, eggs, dairy. And very important to eat plenty of the good fats like grass fed butter, avocado’s, coconut and its oil, olives and olive oil. Our brains need the good fats as it is 90% fat. These low fat diets are giving people dementia! starving their brains..plus good fats keep us satisfied…not hungry. I think you would like it if you tried it. But what your doing is good just not good to ever eat sugar…very toxic. I did not think I could go without sugar but eating this way…I don’t miss it! That is the most surprising thing to me!
