Apartment-Friendly Workouts That Pack a Punch: Workout Videos for Apartments & Small Spaces When I was a (completely & totally broke) college student and for a few years after, I lived in small apartments. Take a look at this article, “Apartment-Friendly Workouts That Pack a Punch: Workout Videos for Apartments & Small Spaces,” for some suggestions. We were even featured in this great NYT article, “The Small-Space Workout Challenge,” a few months ago, which gives a bit more detail.

Whether you have neighbors downstairs, live in a small space, or need a lower impact day, this workout will still give you heart pumping cardio, strength and. Note: make sure your pack’s back straps are fitted properly to your shoulders and back. Use a towel with a decent-sized knot tied in it and hang over the door.

Close the door, and use the towel for. If any of you have heard this (or something similar) about the “noise” sometimes associated with your workouts, then this article, “Apartment-Friendly Workouts That Pack a Punch: Workout Videos for Apartments & Small Spaces,” may be very timely. You’ll be able to mount your Quiet Punch pretty easily. So if you’re looking for a small punching bag for your apartment, or need a doorway punching bag than this is going. Adding a punching bag to your workout routine can be great for your health. But, when in an apartment, you need a durable and quiet bag.

In terms of the above options, I would say that the best punching bag for apartment workouts is the Quiet Punch. It is easy to set up, portable, and specifically designed for little to no noise. • I’ve been looking for more workouts like this since having to stay home during quarantine. This was quick and intense and I didn’t feel like I wasn’t being as challenged in the home setting vs. gym. Will definitely be doing this again!

  • I love these workouts! Please do more of them! I have been doing these workouts at home because it has been way too hot to walk outside and I think they really work!!

  • Day 1 of doing this everyday starting is always the hardest….. day 2 ok well i knew today would be the hardest by far.. was way harder than yestersay ughhhh thay Spider-Man plank is the worst. day 3, woooah this workout never gets easier but atleast i done the Spider-Man plank without stopping this time.day 4 getting easier!! day 5my abs are hurting so bad day 6 break tomorrow!!! Forgot to update yesterday but done it and today doing it rn pausing at 12:30 in the video, i always pause at this point bc i know what’s coming with the Spider-Man plank still doing this but keep forgetting to update still the same thing tho, i can’t do this without pausing updating this every couple days, last day of the week break tomorrow! also I’ve taken out Spider-Man plank because it was just making me not want to do it so I’m still doing spider man plank just not the plank aspect of it. I’m much happier now:)

  • This was so hard! I loved never repeating an exercise. Made it easier to get through. Love your vids!! Helping me get back to shape after having twins. <3

  • I’ve never been so early! And today I decided to start writing down my intentions. I literally just capped my pen from writing “exercise “. Go universe!

  • I recently moved in with my boyfriend like two months ago, even then I was unfit but moving to his house had me EXTREMELY unhealthy. My entire life I’ve been ridiculed and bullied. Not by friends or people at school (well kinda) but by my family, as a kid I couldn’t take those offensive words personally because my family would then call me weak, and growing up that brought my self esteem down, and I can’t crawl out of it, my four years of high school I was embarrassed of my self, and my mom constantly called me stupid and crazy, it got to a point where I actually wanted to kill my self… I wanna lose weight and I want them to support me, but I know damn well they’ll make fun of me saying that I won’t be able to because it’s hard for me to lose weight, being reminded again after several attempts of asking them to help me as I was growing up. Anyways, I’m so stupid to not realise that they’re workouts that don’t involve jumping and I’m glad because now I don’t have to worry about the entire apartment shaking!!! I’ll probably be doing updates but I realllly need the motivation to know that I’m not doing this alone I’m a lazy ass 18 year old!!! Wish me luck

  • I just finished this workout and it’s been one of the hardest I’ve done but I really enjoyed it! Thanks for all yours awesomes workouts. They’ve kept me motivated during this time!

  • This is a great workout! Very useful.
Do you have any recommendations for a silent workout? Is it possible to do a cardio workout without having to jump?:)
I live in an apartment and I’m pretty sure my neighbors would appreciate it haha..:D

  • Great workout. I’ve also done your Niagara work out too. By what you said on this video you did both in a day. Is that ok to HiiT morning and evening. In the book is days best not to.

  • I am absolutely loving these low-impact workouts!! I have JRA and the jumping is really hard on me so these are PERFECT thank you! Also this video kicked my BUTT I love it!!

  • Just came across this during lockdown. Felt super insecure as nothing fits me anymore. I found your workout and I feel like I’ve bossed it! So sweaty it feels great!! Thank you!

  • This is great, just what i was looking for, Thank you so much:) I am doing this workout now during my home office when i have no phone calls:D so convenient and neighbours downstairs dont complain:D

  • This is a good workout without jumping! Sometimes, I feel like doing a workout that will make me sweat without all the high-impact stuff and this was a good routine. Thanks Maddie!

  • I remember doing this workout when it came out and not being able to do the kick-throughs at all. My arms were so wobbly and I lost my balance immediately… I haven’t done it since. Now though… I can do it! I can keep my balance, my arms are steady and it feels a bit easier. Yay for progress! Don’t give up y’all!:)

  • I’m severely obese and I have PCOS. I’ve been doing this for a long time but I cannot finish 4 rounds. Today, I DID! Thanks Cassey for being a friend and a coach.

  • I hate that 75% of this routine was done on the floor. Not enough variety. Felt like I was lying on floor the whole time. How can something be boring and hard at the same time?? lol

  • OMG.. Been looking for something different. As much as I got through this, I cannot for the life of me do Kick throughs, I kicked the table and somehow fell over.. So hard.

  • Thank you so much for this. During Christmas Time I always end up eating way too much & seem to forget about my healthy lifestyle. You really help me not to have an excuse during this time lol great workout & GIRL..I AM SWEATING

  • Scola you are full of life, and you should stay true to yourself. Even the best is weary of being just that. I enjoy watching your workouts. Keep motivating those who believe they can. Your an inspiration from your own personal experiences, and nothing is more real than that.

  • Maddy, absolutely love your workouts! A sweaty mess after every video, I have always loved hiitbut jumping just bulks up my leg muscles. You low impact is still getting as much intensity but no bulking This is working wonders! I would love to see some exercise videos for strengthening back.

  • I love all the variety of exercises in the workout. I would like each one to last longer to feel the burn more and for more intensity. Would that be possible? Thank you so much for your time to put this together. I enjoy them so much!!!

  • More of this pleaseeee I do weights very often, But this no equipment workout made me sweat like crazy and it felt sooooooo good!!!

  • Ok I really enjoyed this, so I’d like to support it by commenting! I love that is used the whole body, was super achievable, and best of all: no repetition!! My ADD brain loved it. Yay!

  • Hi Chloe I’ve been having lots of self confidence issues and I’m doing this video, your 2019 summer shred, one of your burning calories videos, and one of your other fat burning workouts. I think it will help me feel better about myself and it’s all thanks to you! I just want to thank you for making these videos and pushing us to workout more!

  • Yay thank you! Couldn’t get to the gym due to looking after my son and this helped heaps cause my house mates have people over so this was great for in my room

  • I know I’ve done this one at least once before, but it all seems terrific still because you mix up the exercises so well. Great job, keep it up, please

  • I love that you aren’t super cheesy with your commentary. You just get the exercise done and are super easy to follow. Low pressure. LOVE YOUR WORKOUTS!! Thank you!!

  • Idk why I can’t do the leg raise one right. After I do if my lower back starts to hurt real bad and I never feel a burn in my abs.

  • that was great! did it in an RV, even less space than the hotel room but made it work. maybe next t ime I’ll film it, sure is a testament to your workouts to be able to do it in a 24′ class c with no slide out SUB’d

  • That is exactly what I needed, thanks for the short and intense burn, I’m glad I didn’t have to do a boring treadmill or elliptical workout in the hotel… My heart rate peaked right around 165 doing this. I feel awesome…

  • Sorry, I gottta keep it real, head over to millionaire Hoy channel for full length hiit workouts. I don’t understand, but every time I watch a video, their is so many stops and starts, this is not Hiit and I don’t sweat at all lol. Check out millionaire Hoy, he truly rules Hiit work outs and does them properly.

  • Athsma and weight making this hard for my first time, not being able to complete a single circuit. But I’m going to combine this with my physical education lessons to hopefully get rid of that weight and at least get slimmer if not fitter. I would do a different one which would require more space but I’d like to try and do this whilst keeping my personality the same as the nerdy kid

  • This is awesome…a couple of exercises I have never done before! It gave me a lot of steps on my Fitbit and I’m sweating like crazy!:)

  • I put this into the rotation for the Beginner’s Calendar since not all of the cardio videos there are apartment friendly. As someone who is SEVERELY out of shape like, a walk to the fridge is basically the only cardio that doesn’t get me out of breath I dreaded this one a lot and only did it (kinda poorly) a few times. I did it today on the beginning of Week 4 and I kept up with her the whole time without losing my form. I think I’d be down to do it another 3 times if it weren’t for the other videos I want to get through:) Cassie is saving this quarantine

  • I love his workouts. Just wondering if anyone arrange any workout plans from this channel (for a whole month or week)? Care to share it?

  • Yes, this was a good one. Absolutely the apartment friendly, no jumping, no equipment are the best and this one REALLY got my heart pumping! Thank you

  • Scola, thank you so much for sharing this workout! It’s the first I’ve done since my 10K in February! I modified just a little the intensity because I’m out of race form, but it still got me sweating in the end!:D

  • Struggled with this one a little bit as I’m very unfit and not very flexible but absolutely loving these workouts! I WILL trim the chub! Thanks MadFit

  • Sometimes I can’t help it but burst out laughing during these videos cause all of a sudden I realise I’m like a washed up whale trying to get back to the ocean….so Maddie was right, it was fun, but I don’t know if that’s what she had in mind:)

  • Such a great workout! Not too intense but still challenging. Definitely screamed a little bit. Anyone else struggle with the coordination on the last exercise? My body couldn’t keep up with my brain

  • Whew! This wore me out! These low impact hiit workouts are awesome especially for those of us who are postpartum. Thanks for your creativity!!

  • is this good for weight loss? because i’m trying to lose weight but i’m upstairs, so cant do like jumping and things. does anyone have any recommendations? thanks

  • i was looking for a workout, that wasn’t too intense and didn’t have jumping jacks (HATE JJs, REALLY HATE ’em). anyway, came across this. i did it today with one break in between. my heart was racing. it felt good. <3

  • week 1: 140 pounds
    week 2:
    week 3:
    week 4:?

Week 4 is a decision if i am in good shape i don’t need to do but if i am in ok shape i’ll do it

see you next week also i’ll be doing this everyday for 30 days

  • What a great workout, Scola!Just what I needed today to get my sweat on! You are beautiful stop being so hard on yourself. I invite you to think of yourself (and all of us following along more sweatily and slowly) as SPLENDIDLY IMPERFECT!

  • This was a good morning workout to get your blood flowing, get the muscles going and a decent sweat that will wake you right up. Wanted a simple workout that wasn’t too intense or complicated. This was just right. Thanks Madfit!

  • Just discovered your videos 3 weeks ago. They are awesome! My trainer likes your form and approves. Keep it up! I like how happy you are.

  • Great one. I’m out of shape and only managed 3 sets. I will keep with it. I’ve been traveling on business for last 5 months and just decided to do something with all the extra time in the hotel room. Currently in Brazil.

  • Guys any tips to deal with overeating? Even if im not hungry and about to throwup i can’t stop my self today is the 4th day in Ramadan and i feel horrible

  • hey love!!! I am so happy doing your routines, I have seen a lot of change on my body, i am wanna to ask you about the low back i have that ugly fat there and i was wondering what kind of exercises could i do?.. please if you could give an advise it would be lovely

  • I love this!!! Im in a dorm and its recruitment so I’m not able to go to the gym so doing this in my dorm is so great! thank you!!!:)

  • If you find a Chloe Ting exercise video without a comment with the words “quarantine, self isolation, corona, glow up, glo up” then you’re a legend.

  • Thanks again! This one was a sweaty one. It was hard as my muscles are still sore from two days ago doing a full body and booty workout routine of yours. I love all your free content. So much appreciated on my end. Much Love to You keep up with the good work!

  • I was at the end of this video when I was texted ” Imagine you’re in the Hunger Games, but your sponsor is Chilli’s.” By my friend Katherine, I thought I would share this with the world

  • You made the perfect work out routine for these days not boring, never the same, clear instructions, muscles working hard-thankful for this!! ✨

  • Really…… Thanks for this workout, I’ve improved my stamina & health too. At firstI felt like m gonna die in-between

  • Great, quick, and easy. Would be awesome to have more guided modifications for those of us easing into getting in shape, though I managed to figure them out on my own.

  • I really liked it thanks! I liked the variety of exercises it wasn’t boring at all and good for my slightly injured lower back, lots of stability and posterior chain.

  • im a 13 year old and i feel fat cause i have a fat stomach and i want a flat stomach do yall think that i should do this workout? i can’t rlly diet cause i have to eat what my mom cooks so i try to eat lesser…. anyone got tips on how to eat lesser? i hope i have a flat stomach, smaller thighs and a jawline when i head back to school after the quarantine ♡

  • As a woman with larger breasts which make jumping seriously painful, this is a blessing. Or a curse, since it actually gives me a way to turn into a sweaty soup without that pain:’D

  • Chloe please answer this, I was involved in an accident in which I injured my back. Lately I didn’t see any problems with my back so I gave a try to one of your full body ex and I love it bt the the problem is my back started hurting again. So wanted to ask if this one ex(no jumping one) is as intense as the other one and has the same benefits? And also thank u so much for your hard work.

  • Me: * dying and out of breath by the end of the video*
    Me: I did it… I actually finished it…
Chloe: now you guys can do one or two more rounds of this workout
    Me:

  • Loved this workout. I am 8 weeks post partum and am trying to slowly get back to being active. This was a perfect combination of ass kicking and not too intense. Thanks Maddie! Will be checking out your other low impact videos.:)

  • Those squat/leg downs, though!! Ahhh! Appreicate the apartment friendly workout! And no equipment to buy, I was able to just press play and go for it. Thanks!

  • Really love your channel and the various workouts available. Find yours very easy to follow with clear but not too much instruction. Hope you will do more 15-20 min intense HIITs. Not too many of those atm.

  • I am sweating SO HARD! I just finished this workout and I must say, this is a hella effective one. Thank you for making this videos. Let’s get that dream bod y’all

  • Love this apartment friendly workout!! I am drenched in sweat!! Would love to see more of these no jumping and knee sensitive workouts!! ❤️ thank you for posting!

  • the second time I did this (First time was 5 days ago, did some cardio in between) and it felt a lot harder to do than first time round. Anyone else experiencing this?

  • Love how you incorporate controlled strength into your workouts! I believe that achieving flexibility, working towards controlled movements, and strengthening the muscles all at the same time is the way to go!!!

  • Doing a 2-week hotel quarantine in South Korea and I have a tiny space. This was perfect for my space. Thank you for making this!!

  • SUBSCRIBED! First video i have seen of yours. Also best at home cardio i’ve done in a while. I LOVED IT. I just finished I am completely drenched in sweat even though during the video the moves were not too difficult. Perfection. Thank You.

  • I found this yesterday as we’re still under quarantine and I am not venturing outside. This is intense! I didn’t complete each set as I have been inactive for months, but I gave it a good go. My body is feeling it today. I will intersperse this with a gentler routine and that could be my start of a more active ME! Thank you.

  • Just discovered your channel and absolutely LOVE it! These short but intense workouts are perfect for throwing into my day while working at home. Enables me to get my workouts in on busy days while getting a break from sitting at my desk (a MUST). Makes the most out of every minute of my day!!

  • Girl this workout makes me stronger …So effective
Me During watching video Chole This so easy
    Me during my workoutMummmyyyy

  • I love how she talks about how hard she’s also finding it and tells us how much it’s burning her too. I don’t know, I just feel encouraged by that. The fact that it is totally ok to not find it easy and be an expert at it straight away. She’s a professional and she finds it hard too which makes me feel not as bad for finding it difficult and it encourages me to push forward. Just thought I’d point that out, because it not something I feel with other workout videos I’ve followed x

  • I love this workout!!! If anyone’s wondering I burn approximately 140 (Apple Watch) calories doing this at 5ft 104lbs:) im very satisfied with that!!

  • All the up and down is killing me Don’t know if that was intentional between moves but boy am I dying and moving. About to complete circuit 4!

  • So glad I found you…my apt floors are old and I cannot even slightly jump without bothering my neighbor…this is a life saver and makes me sweat.

  • Id like to get my endurance cardio level back up by end of june. Which hiit or cardio would i use best? I tend to do longer fitnresblender cardio interval routines which dont include burpees or many plyometric moves…I prefer leg/ full body exercices to ones that require good lower back /chest strength.

  • so I have been doing this since a week and surprisingly I lose a cm on my thighs? lol i didn’t do it expecting I’d lose some thigh fat but I think if you do this diligently you’re sure to lose weight

  • Tbh I relate to the upstairs neighbor thing! I live on the 3rd floor and constantly can hear the 2nd floor neighbors kids running around and jumping!

  • Man… i feel easily tired to do her workout sometimes I can’t follow her but it is okay atleast I will try again to reach my goal body type

  • just found this now and its amazing! been looking for a lower impact workout to do after I run. wanted something that wouldn’t strain my knees but would build strength,, this is great!

  • Cassey I looked up “upstairs neighbors” (for memes cause I just moved into an apartment lol) and you were on the first page!! Nice!!

  • I love her workouts but I get tired of them because they don’t have long enough breaks and I don’t even have enough time to go get a sip of water. to me they aren’t beginner friendly and yeah. they’re great workouts though if you’re more experienced and you’re not just beginning your fitness journey

  • At first I read the title of the video, I thought “it must be easy for me and won’t make me sweat or exhaust af”. But while I am doing standing side crunch, I was wrong. This is one of the great video I discover. I will do this in the morning and evening. Thanks for upload a good low impact HIIT friendly workout!!

  • Because there are so many workout vids on the internet, I’m pretty picky about which videos I choose to do and here are some of the things I LOVE about your channel: I’ve never done a repetitive workout from you, the time bubble on the screen helps me push until the 15 seconds of rest, the no jumping is apartment friendly, you give modifications to the harder exercises, you don’t talk too little or too much and the music you choose isn’t distracting.

My only constructive feedback: Maybe on the right upper corner of the video you could show the remaining time for the entire workout because I always lean down to my laptop to see how much time is left on the video.

    I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!

  • For some feedback, I honestly love your workouts, I have been doing this one for 5 days, and there are a couple of things that still irritate me, but have nothing to do with the actual workout, bc that is fantastic! So first, the three different genres of music are annoying, especially that they are switching mid-exercise, and this bothers me a lot. Its not the genre I am saying is bad (I am not willing to criticise your musical taste), it’s the fact, that there are three of them switching mid exercise, that is not good. Also, next time maybe you could mention taking a break earlier on, bc I would have needed one somewhere in the middle, and felt uncomfortable doing so, when you didn’t say it then. Lastly, in my opinion, the strengthening exercises should have been in the middle, bc whenever I am doing the workout bc of the cardio at the beginning I barely have any energy left to do the last 3 exercises, like literally I cannot even hold myself in a plank, when I should be doing spider man crunches. I do love your workouts honestly, I was just giving a feedback, as a beginner, getting back into working out seriously.

  • Been doing this workout for a couple of weeks between jogs during quarantine and the first day I tried it I hated it so much, it was so difficult especially the squat drops and kick throughs but through persisting I have been able to finish the workout with a lot more strength and finding those exercises much more manageable. Thank you so much, I would love some more Apartment friendly hiit workouts please

  • OMG!! I can only manage 10 mins before having to stop!! Great workout and will progress onto the 20 mins before going onto another one of Joe’s awesome workouts.

  • I’m finally getting better and can do all the moves great except for that one video game plank kick thing, I still cannot do too many

  • Thank you! I’m a weightlifter who is getting a little pudgy in quarantine. This is great! My neighbors are a-holes so I can’t make too much noise!

  • Thank you! I loved this video. I’m 18 weeks post natal so low impact workout videos like this are brilliant for me. Please would you add more low impact videos like this one. Much love and thanks

  • is there a workout I can do in my bedroom? Because i have a really tiny space for workout, and most of these i couldnt do because of the space limit:(

  • As someone who can no longer do high impact and laborious workouts due to the development of an autoimmune disease that limits my activity, I thank you so much. I have to focus on low impact and mobility based workouts, and your stretch videos along with this video are PERFECT for those with physical limitations. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

  • Does this work for anyone? If so how many pounds do u lose cuz I really want to get in shape during this quarantine and also do u have to go on a diet

  • I love these low impact workouts! Works me harder than the gym ever did! I’m drenched in sweat everyday! But I can feel myself getting stronger!

  • Hi Maddie, very creative and sweaty workout. I like the no jumping every so often it helps with sore knees. You have a great channel with some really fun exercises. Thanks for sharing this.

  • I’m so saddened to hear that you have turned your back on veganism. I am a vegan personal trainer and I followed you because of what you said you stand for. I wish you the best but can no longer, in good conscience, support your channels. I’m so sorry you made this choice. I only hope it was your own and not due to pressure from new people in your life.

  • I only recently found you but i’m so glad i did! You are so motivating and encouraging the whole way through which I’ve never found with other fitness channels.:)

  • Question: If we are following the workout calendar, but you do a move on one leg, do you recommend we do the complete workout twice, or just once, but repeat that specific move on the other leg?
