  • I am vain enough to have vanity run my motivation consistently for over half a year for now. Haha. The bonus is strength and health.

  • Starting the video with a TSWIFT quote, I am already loving you I loved this video so helpful! I want toget healthier so badly! And ps. You are so pretty

  • Thank you for posting this video, even tho I’m seeing it kinda late, always trained calisthenics, and since I moved to England I stopped training. 2 years later, now, I have to join the gym because there are not calistenics parks to train like in Spain. And so I am kinda lost, some machines give me muscle pain, and I am looking for information. I personally dislike the gym because it’s very static, I prefer more military exercising but hey, gotta give it a try, it’s not like I have many options xD.

  • 0:57 “When I first started lifting, there was no Youtube or even much of an internet, for that matter.”

So… You started lifting when you were like three years old?

  • Simple things that would have made my life easier if I knew:

You can enter the castle and leave as many times you want without having to face ganon.
Divine beasts are mainly quests and you can thrive with food and weapons alone even with few hearts. so dont take forever to go for them.
The powers you get from the divine beasts will make your life A LOT easier when exploring, gathering resources etc.
Mark on the map the positions of: Lynels/Hinox/Molduga/Plebbits, great ore mines, mini games, dragons and praying points.
When you see totem statues with food offering, just offer the same food to the empty statues to get a korok seed.
You can sleep for free in korok forest (lost woods)
Master swords is impossible to grab until you have 13 hearts, so dont even bother if you are not there yet.
Stealthfin fish can only be found in 1 place dont waste your time looking for it around the whole map.
Keep an Ice/blizzard rod + electric weapon with you if you can. Freezing and hitting will triple the damage but if you freeze then hit with electric weapon is a massive AOE damage. MASSIVE!
Sneaky hits from behind the enemies will almost hit kill enemies.
Throw octorok balloons on things to make them fly, like giant metal plaques. Dont need Stasis and hit with weapon which will constantly break your swords.
Throw wood and clint on the floor and hit with a sword to make a bonfire.

  • Thank you so much Nell, purchased my own reformer due to lockdown and have tried so many videos, but this one is the best by far! Thank you for clearly explaining all the moves and also giving time to change positions and springs:)

  • Good Tips BUT! You forgot to mention the CHARM OF INARI! (INCREASES THE number OF SUPPLIES, PREDATOR HIDE, BAMBOO, AND YEW WOOD PER PICKUP) it’s a good charm to help boost your money so you can get upgrades quicker. It be in the Arrow Peak Shrine, located in the first region, Between Sakimori Overlook and Archers Rise!

  • You da man Scott! I am lucky that when I started lifting I found your channel. I knew that with proper form and not heavy weights that I would get the results I wanted. Once I heard you talk up form not weights I was sold and have been a regular ever since. As time goes by you get to those heavier weights, but without proper form you aren’t benefiting your muscle your hindering them. Thank you for your dedication to us and our weight training.

  • Everybody has to learn somewhere along the way… no shame in admitting ya got some stuff wrong, especially seeing as there are people as we speak pushing false information.

  • I dont understand what is so difficult in reading subtitles. My native language is french and i played a lot of game with french subtitles with VO voice and its not that hard

  • 1:21 (1) Training too long is overkill.

    3:00 (2) Results take time.

6:20 (3) Hardcore training with no meal plan = No results.

8:06 (4) Eating small meals every 3 hours is not required to get lean.

8:50 (5) Bro-Splits are not the best or only way to build muscle.

10:49 (6) You don’t need hours of cardio to get abs or stay lean.

11:57 (7) I wish I understood the importance of compound movements.

13:32 (8) Not training with full range of motion is a waste of time.

16:45 (9) Deload weeks are very important.

18:11 (10) Bigger muscles do not automatically mean more strength.

19:55 -(11) To build muscle or strength you need progressive overload & you have to switch up your workouts.

  • What are you talking about? Almost all of those things are said, black on white, in the game! There are no secrets here!
Plus there is 4 Great fairy fountain, not 3!
Did you actuly did any researchs befor making that video?

  • Tip for those chronically short on supplies:
In Azamo (southeast on the island) there is the Arrow Peak Shrine. Get to the top and you get the Charm of Inari (not to be confused with the Charm of Inari’s Might). This charm increases the amount of supplies etc you find, especially in enemy drops.
I went from struggling to get by to being able to upgrade several items at once every time I visited an armourer/blacksmith/fletcher. It was an almost game breaking difference so I switch it out sometimes to get back into the searching experience.
The Azamo region is quite heavy on Mongol presence, though, so maybe postpone if you’ve not gotten the hang of combat yet.

  • I just found this on Amazon
    AeroPilates Reformer Plus 379

    by AeroPilates by Stamina
Any thoughts? Given that I am a beginner and very stiff muscles I need to start with an inexpensive unit before I can justify “the real deal”. I’m just concerned that the reformer I have is too old.

  • Hey Scott, I’m a really skinny guy and I’m just starting out with weight training. I’ve had some pain in my knees from work so I’m hesitant to do squats, should I focus on isolation exercises until I develop some leg strength, or do squats and deadlifts with a lower weight? Great videos and thanks for your help!

  • I am Indian and I came across my Guru Scott Herman a few days ago. Since then I follow your advice sir. Honestly, I don’t follow any Indian fitness gurus or any other guru for that matter. Mostly they want to get famous on youtube and all they care about is views. Sir, you on the other hand has been working on your channel for years and years. I came across a 2009 video of you for a cable tricep routine and I was stumped to see you’ve been focusing on training people genuinely since years. Here in India most gurus want to get views and be famous. Thankyou sir for being the truly bestest of best amongst anyone out there. Love you.

  • I use de-load for 72 hours but always incorporates cardio which helps recovery
Also one of the myths, is the so-called anabolic window

  • If I reached the body shape I want and am not interested in building more muscle or strength and I kept the same workout routine intensity level. 1. Will I still have muscle soreness? 2. Will i gain fat more easily through cheating meals ( as I always watch my diet)? 3. Will My body adapt to the workout level and I will be able to finish it without feeling so exhausted. I will really appreciate it if you can make a video about that as am sure a lot of people have these questions as well. Thanks

  • Man,,,,,the more I’m trying to learn, the more confused I get! It seems like there is SO MUCH to learn that I’ll never understand! More than half of the terms you talked about I’ve never heard of..and since I can’t afford a trainer, it feels like I’m fated to make major mistakes

  • Scott..Don’t assume!! (AZZ U ME)
..I know exactly how LUCKY I AM to have the endless information resources at the tip of my fingers….LOL…
I Laave yer faake in and out,Bosston Accant Dude.!! Graate Vidoo, keep em cooming..vary halpfuul.

  • I find standoff against mongols in act ii and act iii really tough, even only in medium difficulty. Either I have poor reaction time, or the variety of mongol (sword, double swords, shield, brute shield, spears, guns) confused the hell out of me since they have different fake movements and rhythm… I would avoid patroling mongols almost 100% of the time. The mongol commander armor is such a good addition and I don’t have to maneuver too far to avoid them.

  • seeing english sub with japanese voice, just wants your mind to read the subs and not knowing whats happening around the surrounding. literally your eyes are just on subtitles rather than animation, emotion or overall surrounding.

  • Hey! I had a question… I have been watching your ab workout and wanted to try but I’m pretty skinny already but I want a tighter stomach. So is it okay if I yet workout intense? Will I loose weight very much?

  • Max out the ronin armor 30%increase to melee damage along with the melee charms equipped Its 2-3 hits to enemies on hard with basic attacks

  • my only problem is I wanna start training and tbh also because it looks cool, but I don’t weigh allot like I’m 20 years, 1.70 and 60kg, so I’m not sure where to even begin I know I have to change what I eat I just don’t know what to eat, I’m pretty skinny so should I lose weight and train or gain weight and train? I’m really a newbie at this so sorry if these questions seem stupid, I also don’t know where to begin or what to do first, I have weights at home just normal weights to train my arms but that’s all I know haha

  • If your on foot the boars rush you once slowly before they run away so if the katana is upgraded high enough you can wait for the rush and take em out one per slice or you can distance yourself while they walk towards you before the rush pull out your bow concentration and peck them off one at a time ensuring none get away your welcome

  • Xbox has got no games…. even their own Outside Xtra has to go outside Xbox or starve to death.

Glad I jumped ship to PS4 a few years ago.

Ghost of Tsushima is amazing btw.

  • when you buy the house you can get weapon, bow and shield stands. I leave all the weapons that i think look cool there, but i wouldnt want to use in combat. its a nice storage space

  • I thought there were four great fairy fountains, along with the horse goddess fountain. The horse goddess will revive your horse if it gets killed.

  • hi stephi, love your channel. i’ve started eating healthy and working out but i feel like i’m squeezing my glutes wrong? is there a certain way to squeeze it? because i feel like i’m doing it wrong

  • This is literally the first tips that the game just gives you. This video was just stupid. I’m surprised you have the subscribers that you do… they all must be 8 years old

  • The 3rd time you hit a cuco it will attack but if you hit it 2 times it will lay 2 eggs then you can though it in water to res pawn than boom infinite eggs

  • Giiiirl! Thank you so much for making this video! I think everyone (including myself) can relate to your tips on this fitness journey we are on. Also, I can’t stress enough on your bonus tip comparing yourself to IG models, I know a lot of girls work out their butts to try to “look” just like them…but Honey, we are all hella beautiful in our own way. Keep making your videos chica! Love them!

  • I should have watch this on Monday when you post it. That day I was at the gym and felt miserable, because I kept focusing on how the other people look compared to me, I felt really fat and stocky in comparison, and was feeling very self-conscious about myself whenever someone stare at me for too long. This makes me feel so much better. You are so kind, inspiring, and humble! Will be referring back to this video whenever I feel down again. THANK YOU, GIRL!!! YOU ARE A BOSS. <3 <3 <3

  • Can you please do leg workout!! I really need this because you’re the only YouTuber I watch with fitness and working out, I think you’re trustworthy with all the fitness stuff. And for the legs, I want them toned up for summer

  • Finished downloading about 10 minutes ago, played the game, finished it in 20 minutes and spent 4 hours on the phone with their customer service department getting my money back. My opinion on this ‘game’? An affront to humanity. Dont waste your money, minecraft graphics, pac man gameplay and dont even get me started on the story

  • Thank you so much for this!! I was able to relate so much and this made me change my priorities for getting fit Very Very Helpful

  • Stephi, you are too amazing. Thank you for your positive and hilarious comments and information. You keep me motivated and sane! haha!

  • 1) get your macros and calories every day, even your rest days
    2) get enough sleep
    3) workout 2-4 times per week
    4) give each muscle group 48 hours to recover
    5) always progressive overload, try to add a rep to your exercise every time you do it (ex 6-8 reps) and when you get to 8, go back down to 6 except you add more weight and so on
    6) always reach complete muscle failure
    7) understand that different rep ranges are meant for different goals and you need to find out which rep range is best for you
    8) just do 3 or 4 sets for per 1 exersise
    9) know that there are different tempos for certain rep ranges
    10) do about 2 exercises per muscle group in a workout
    11) stick to mostly compound exercises
    12) figure out which type of working out your body reacts to the best
    13) in order to gain muscle you must be gaining some fat in the process
    14) do free range exercises and full range of motion
    15) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALLLLLWAYYYYYS keep track of your daily foods on an app like “lose it” or “my fitness pal” and track you progress. Pick a day to weigh yourself every morning after you piss but before you eat. You should gain about 1.5 lbs of wight per week

  • That’s literally what I say about models! I never get the hate/envy they get from regular people of course they look like that…it’s literally their job to look like that so their workouts are beyond intense and that’s worked into their work schedule…

  • Talking outta your ass!! That got me haha! Love your vids Stephi! And I believe this too!!! It’s all about the lifestyle change not the quick fix challenges! Like I had to step back and think about the REAL reason why I SHOULD be fit and healthy! Like not only for myself and feeling great but also for my son as well. To keep up with him, to watch him grow and to teach him etc. Rather than focusing on vanity focus on the WHY part I think is really important. You hit ALL them points girrrrlllfrannnn and I especially love the “don’t compare yourself to anyone else” just focus on your journey and do you boo boo! Haha lotsa loveeeeeee xx

  • Any suggestions for what I can use in place of the long box? I don’t own one. Thanks. Loved your workout and instructions! Excellent.

  • I disregard the 1st. I have been learning the language for well over an year now, might as well put it to the test.
Also… No one can tell me to ignore side quests.

  • A massive thank you for this video. It’s the best video of a beginner’s pilates workout I’ve found, from an excellently trained professional giving meticulous instruction. Well well done!

  • great video Stephi! I’ve been working out for almost a year and all of the tips would’ve been super helpful for me in the beginning:D still struggling for not taking photos either. But this video may help many deciding to start a fitness journey. You’re actual BODY GOALS,don’t compare yourself to these models, beautiful xx

  • Wow, good to know.. I was looking into getting a reformer for home, but it’s a huge investment. Do you have any recommendation for home equipment? I’ve been going to Pilates studios for a couple years, but I don’t feel safe going now.

  • On the Subject of 7
If you happen upon a mention of “Tadayori” 1st start the tale (blue Icon on the map), and once it brings you near a shrine gate, stop everything and go for the shrine

The charm you’ll get is out-of-combat HP regen

  • Talk to a merchant ASAP to get Travelers attire. It will make discovering things on the map easier. Also, do the Inari and Amatarasu shirnes ASAP. Ammy charm heals you as you kill opponents, and Inari’s charm will double supplies/hides/flowers/branches/bamboo you pick up.

  • Good game but I hate the empty swamp and jungle where only wild pig and bear lives. I am surprised there are no wild horses all the horse are just tamed on their own.

  • Doing side missions first were will benefit you more than doing main missions…going to side missions will give you a chance to encounter mongol patrol with hostage and they will point you to mongol camps.

Clearing these camps unlocks undiscovered locations that are either fox den for charm slot and onsens for max health

  • One tip I learn for myself is if you see a downed enemy and you have full resolve, press down first to heal yourself before you end suffering. That way, the resolve gain will not be wasted.

  • Great tips, girl! Balance is key I had an unhealthy mindset when I first started my fitness journey a few years ago back in college tracking calories, not eating enough calories, being extremely restrictive, and valuing myself based on losing weight. Unfortunately this led to me developing a binge eating disorder, but now I can honestly say that I’m living a much more balanced lifestyle and no longer binge. What you’re talking about here is so important to keep in mind. Staying active and eating a balanced diet including the foods I enjoy has become a lifestyle for me especially with working crazy and long hours. Thank you for the great content as always, Stephi

  • Those little yellow circles though….. On the HUD…..absolutely ruining this game for me. I played God of War from start to finish with the dynamic HUD which made it so much more beautiful.

  • Your awesome thank you! I just started a few days ago and I never knew about that beginning parry charm. I’m going to go get it tonight. I’m ok with combat but switching stances while your fighting takes a minute to get use to. The smoke bomb in combat is something even I never thought of and I usually pick up on that stuff.

  • i love the last two tips especially, thank you so much for making this!! currently dieting right now because i want to be a role model for my family and encourage them to eat healthy foods and be more active on a plant-based lifestyle:)

  • No. 10: Feeding your horse does not heal it. This only happens during boarding at a stable or when leaving your horse to naturally heal (i.e., fast travel away and return).

  • Won’t it be easier to finish the side missions, clear the outposts, etc, and then the main ones, i hear that is much easier when u start to perform several main missions!!

  • I’ve heard that the wind is representing the “kamikaze”, a mysterious typhoon, that destroyed Mongolian Ship and force them to retreat in the actual history. Maybe that’s why they use wind as a guide lol.

  • This definitely deserved a like. Without giving away any spoilers outside of what moves/equipment is in the game which most people already knew, you gave us a decent understanding of what we should lookout for to make the game a little more favourable for the player in the beginning of the game and I appreciate that, I’m not trying to get anything spoiled and you did a great job of that.

  • The Second Point is soo important. I used to do the same thing: being super strict with my diet and then binging because I wasn‘t even liking what I was eating. Now I say to myself that I don‘t Need to be Perfect 24/7. I take Baby steps like Not buying and eating my breakfast on the go before work. Or bringing my lunch instead of eating in the canteen. If I do this 5 times a week? That‘s great! If I do this twice a week, it‘s still better than what I used to do. I‘m just trying Not to be so hard on myself because that‘s what used to demotivate me the Most.

  • “Trying to hit the word count like” LOL. I really appreciate your wit and humor and your ability to be honest in this space, cause it does seem very challenging at times. Keep it up<33

  • Lady Masako’s Japanese voice acting is amazing. The part where she screams after “For clan Adachi!! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!!” in Japanese never gets old. It’s fucking hilarious.

  • When you say 2.5 to 3 springs, which color/ strength of spring? I haven’t been on reformer since beginning of March and have completely forgotten everything!

    Thank you in advance!

  • Small note…you can actually find the Inari shrines without the help of a fox…you’re just more likely to stumble across the fox first because they’re out in the open next to giant glowing trees while the shrines tend to be a bit more hidden off the beaten path. Out of all of the shrines on the first island I only found 1 without the help of the fox.

  • I honestly think the English voice sounds a little too pussy for me i like the deeper Japanese voice. Plus it makes the game feel more genuine.

  • Just pointing out something you got wrong, which is you don’t need a fox to lead you to a shrine. Found plenty myself without actually finding the fox den first. However it is highly unlikely you’d bump into one before a den

  • you guys are bonkers. On the harder difficulties, the kunai are amazing. They give you breathing room and easy damage when you’re swarmed

  • I am using japan voice english subtitles because Jin Sakai voice actor is Kazuya Nakai, he share the same voice with Hijikata Toshiro (gintama) and Roronoa Zoro (one piece)

  • Who cant stand bamboo? Thats a fucking bad joke after how touching the story is…. did you even complete the game or someone else did that and you are just an anchor?

  • So grateful to you for creating these videos! Sitting in my home office working all day has been killing my back. I have an inexpensive reformer at home and your workouts have been a godsend -helping me to get up and get moving and stretching, which is relieving the pressure and pain I’ve had in my back and neck. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  • I disagree about the kunai one because kunai can help you defeat leaders much easier also kunai can help you defeat enemies if you havent unlocked stances you need to kill them

  • When you throw Kunai, it only takes away one from your inventory, even when Jin visibly throws 3. So, it’s actually one of the best early game unlocks as it can often immediately kill most enemies.

Fun Fact: The Japanese voice actor for Jin is the same voice actor for Zoro from One Piece, Kazuya Nakai.

  • I’ve been on Japanese dialogue with English subs and the only time I feel it detracts is when someone tries to talk to me in real life lol

  • There’s also the sneakstrike. When you sneakingly approach an enemy’s back and then you press Y, you’ll deal more damage than usual.
And when you find a Blupee (those glowing blue rabbits that mysteriously disappear after they spot you, like the one that always appear in the forest, near the shrine, beside Kakariko Village), shoot lots of arrows at them and they’ll drop a lot of rupees.

  • I pronounce it Kor (or Core)rock. Also I think it’s funny how if you pronounce it like that, the “rock” part is like how they usually hide under rocks.

  • I missed watching your videos… I completely lost count of my weight. I think I’m now 75 kilos or even more from being just 57 kilos… I am so stressed with life that I have been resolving it by eating eating and eating… to be honest, I don’t know how or where to start with my “re” weight loss project on myself. What I do hope is for me to be able to wear a size 30 pants again and throw away all my now size 33 pants…

  • I pretty much always use full range of motion but there is a bodybuilder named Jason gallant who does alot of partial reps and hes natural

  • This view is pretty.
But when you’re on a mountain,
    Don’t forget wax wood.

    There’s wax wood on top
    Of every major shrine.
    It only grows there.

  • I thought the lips not syncing up was a throwback to those 80s martial arts movies that did the same thing. I thought it was intentional lol

  • During a heavy weapon spin attack, to cancel the slam that occurs when you let go of Y, press X instead to cancel the spin. Particularly helpful once you obtain urbosas fury.

  • Explains main game mechanics and features like they’re some sort of secret….:/

Hey did you know you can find the master sword in the game?

  • But if you do act one too fast and dont explore you miss stuff so why not do the first couple main mission then explore…and I had the flute from the beginning did you know the songs change the weather…bet you didnt

  • I love how you hit on that not one fitness program works for everybody. Like for me I’m getting away from lifting bc I get joint pain and it’s not always about form. For me I’d rather have flexibility, and functionality over being able to lift heavy. And I’ll tell you I’m getting more tone then I did lifting and now I have balance I didn’t have before

  • Hey wait a minute. Arnold schwarzenegger said he would spend about 5 hours at the gym ALL THE TIME and that dude is huge. Care to explain?

  • This video rlly helped me! Especially ur 6th tip, thnx Steph i truly appreciate u & just know ur one of my biggest inspirations on youtube, i dont find many other vietnamese girls with fitness channels or just many raw & honest channels like urs in general

  • You’re wrong about dyeing with “any materials”. I’ve read the list and there are some you can’t use for dye. I can’t remember as well anymore, but I think you can’t use any of the fish or crabs or fairies.

  • But I can show you a picture of my boyfriend when he was younger he was very very big you can’t say that if someone is big there probably using drugs because he was not it actully depends on the size of your body as well he was a 9th grader lifting 450 lbs every highschool around us wanted him to play football for them so you can make anything happen depends on where you build your muscle and how!

  • These are things you learn in the first few hours of the game. C’mon there are things way more hidden than that.

For example I’ve been playing the game for 400 hours and I recently found out Lynels can teleport.

There are plenty of mythic and side missions that give you cooler things too and more useful armor and charms from fox dens etc. These people clearly didn’t 100% the game
The mythic missions rewards are way better than main missions. These people are lazy

  • Hi Scott I am a new subscriber and really learnt a lot from your videos. I have a question and couldn’t find a scientific answer anywhere. Could you please help me? I currently do 3 days of workout. Chest and biceps, back and triceps, legs. I know you recommend push/pull/legs workout but I only have 3 days of week to go to gym. Is it still effective as push pull legs exercise routine? Or should I change it to push pull legs?? Thanks a lot

  • Stephi!!!! Loved your video!! It really gives a lot of knowledge.. and I love all ur workout videos! I’m following one of ur fitness workout and it REALLY helps…keep doing more videos because ur an inspiration

  • When you throw Kuehne you only waste one even though you throw two so you can eventually throw six tonight at one time and which if you get the 3OH!3 come at one time you’ll be able to throw nine tonight with only wasting one usage of your tonight so you don’t go through them as fast as what you think

  • Wtf you’re completely wrong about the kunai have you played the game? Yes you can only carry 3 (not including upgrades) yes you throw two at once but it only counts for 1 Kunai inventory slot

  • “The game doesn’t tell you how to shieldboard”
Shield surfing is necessary to beat one of the divine beasts, and there’s a side activity focused on it themed around snowboarding.
    Do. Your. Research.

  • 4:19 You’re telling me that I’ve been collecting these small hide n’ seek midgets in order to expand my inventory? My Link’s pockets are about to become a black hole.

  • Read the tips on the waiting screen, it tells you most of this. All the others you can find by talking to people. So, the game tells you all of this

  • Did he just say I need to add 5-10 pounds to an exercise every week? if humans were able to just do that every single time we would all be body building gods

  • After playing this game for only two evenings, I had already found the majority of these things and I feel like the game explained them pretty well though I have pretty much followed the main quest (and the road between the locations), and most of them show up along that. The ones that weren’t outright explained, like the kokoros, were a joy to find out myself and I’m really glad I did before watching this video. There’s something so fun and satisfying about seeing two stone altars on a hill, one with an apple and one without, putting an apple into the second one on a whim, and getting rewarded for it by discovering a secret. I don’t think I’ll be watching any more of these videos part of the joy of BoTW for me is finding ‘hidden’ things and figuring them out for myself.

  • 10 guardians can become super easy, shoot them I’m the eye with a arrow so they are stunned and while stunned go for their legs that way it’s harder for them to chase you and easier for you to attack!

  • Number one is just a outright lie. There’s a whole shrine for those technices in Kakariko which gets EXPLICITLY mentioned if you do the firat few steps of the story. You even showed the shrine. And shields don’t break on snow and sand. Also taming a horse is taught to you if you go to ANY shrine.
You know what, fuck it. All of these things are told/taught somewhere

  • A lot of these tips are incorrect. Like saying you don’t unlock the flute until you work with masako…WRONG. The bow isn’t important, and other than missions that have the prerequisite of “don’t raise the alarm” you don’t ever have to stealth

  • When did you start exercise? And how long did it take to see some results of the workouts? ( sorry for my bad English, I’m from Norway:) )

  • I don’t understand how Japanese voice actors are better than English voice actors it just doesn’t make sense and I’ve watched a lot of anime

  • Litterly everything showed in this video is told or are forced on you by npcs to do so, but lets stil make a video about it right.

  • This video makes no sense. So what you are telling me is that you wish the game told how to play the game perfectly before you even started? I’m sorry, but that is just stupid and very bad game design.

To teach people you need a neutral environment where the player can take the time needed to learn the skill. Just put up a bunch of text telling you what to do before the game starts wont help anything. Even if you made a playable tutorial before the game even starts. I bet most people will forget how to do the things before they can even use them probably. The game guides you toward all the stuff you need to know. If you miss it because you don’t want to follow how the game guides you it is your problem. Don’t blame it on the game.

  • I didn’t buy the role skill first(it’s easier to mash dodge and move to the enemies back without the role), I focused on some of deflect, ghost and hearing. After I get the roll skill I use it mainly for stealth role. And my kunai is for sub weapon for any every approach, including stealth since it can stagger even if it doesn’t kill in early game. It was easy to find kunai though,it’s like mostly everywhere in the place u inflitrate.

  • I workout 7 days a week eat clean & healthy as possible. My gains are lame & weak af. I workout for me to add a few hrs to my life force & longevity, also I told my kids they can do whatever the f*ck they want after I’m God damn dead. I have to out live them & be a physically muscular threat that can take them out without their mom.

Having a nice hot toned fit athletic physique & condition is pretty damn awesome.

Round, fat & looking like as a pillsbury dough boy isn’t a shape.

Q:Why are married women heavier than single women?
A:Single women come home, see what’s in the fridge & go to bed. Married women come home, see what’s in bed & they go to the fridge.

  • I agree with the abilities you adviced to unlock first except for one which is the roll.
While I agree that the roll is useful and is definitely something to consider at some point, it’s absolutely not necessary to get early due to Jin’s godlike ability when it stands to deal with large group of enemies (mostly because unblockables are very distinctively shown by either a blue or a red glint, whether they’re parriable or not, which makes reacting with the right move easier).

Instead, I would recommend to rush the left tree to get the ability that allows you to block arrows, which I personally found hugely important due to the metric ton of archers the game throws at you in some quests.

  • I like what you doing scotty, I’m 42 very fit and also complete natural testosterone, crazy how many juiced up boys are on tube telling people it’s only hard training and diet and these poor uneducated people eat it like cheese cake and believe it’s true LOL

  • A MAJOR TIP that was not in the video is to go to the Arrow Peak shrine in the southeast part of the map (google arrow peak shrine to find a map with exact location); the charm you get at this shrine allows you to get more resources and supplies every time you collect some (and it is not a small portion, it usually is about 60% or more of the amount you would normally pick up), in my opinion it is the MOST valuable charm to get in the early game so you don’t have to spend time hunting down resources.

  • I wish I knew, not to always follow the yellow bird every time it appears! Really slowed down my progress compared to my friends!

  • How does the guiding wind perks work? I have unlocked 3 of them, but but unsure what effect it actually has. Does it just make the hidden places like dens or shrines appear on the map?

  • Amazing list, I wish I knew them too. It would have been way more efficient but still at the point of the game I am at right now I feel overpower

  • How do I know how many calories or carbs or protein I’m eating if I’m making my own food? Like I buy flour to make tortillas so how would I know the health stuff in it?

  • Enjoying this tutorial…Thank you…Can you please share the name of this particular reformer and distributor information. I am looking to purchase a reformer and I love that this reformer is raised. I am a 5″11 female and it would be more comforting to have a reformer that is more accessible to my height. Thank you so much! You are an excellent instructor! Blessings!

  • 14 hours into the game and im still on the southern island wtf! The northern part is even bigger! Man this game is so fun and addicting! After ff7R and last of us 2, i didn’t think another great game will come out in a while but holy shiet this game is good!

  • Meh. I’m sure this game is solid, but after marathoning Nioh and not liking Sekiro I’m kinda over the whole samurai thing right now.

  • Stephi!! you’re my favorite fitness youtuber and have inspired me so much to get in shape. I would love more of these chatty videos in the future, you’re hilarious (also go awfff, you look great)

  • Thank you! I loved having a new workout, and your accent just made it so fun. Very clear direction. I look forward to trying the others!

  • Near Archer’s Rise is a shrine named Arrow Peak Shrine. I believe it holds the Charm of Inari which increases the amount of supplies, predator hides, bamboo, and yew wood you can collect. This can be very helpful if you’re starting out fresh or just need extra supplies.

  • Hi! I really enjoy this program as I haven’t been able to do pilates in a while. I find that it goes a little fast for me as I’m used to working out in a pilates class with an instructor speed. About how many reps or how long would you recommend for each exercise? Thanks!

  • I just cleaned up and set up my reformer. I found this workout to be challenging yet pleasurable. I’ve never stayed consistent with a workout for the entire duration in my life. Thank you Nell. I will certainly be implementing this as my early morning routine. -Amanda

  • Great detailed instructions Nell, but I am having trouble with figuring out which springs to use for the exercises because the Balanced Body Allegro reformer I’m using has yellow, blue, green and red springs so when I see 2.5 to 3 springs I am asking of which combination of colors? Is there anywhere that you have suggestions posted on what the equivalent would be for a machine that is equipped with multiple strengths of springs?

  • Does anyone else experience a black/blank screen during some of the cutscenes for this game? It tends to happen randomly (I assume) and only lasts for a couple of seconds.

  • hi Nell, which pilates reformer are you using? recomedations wil be appreciated, i want to upgrade to a new refomer machine, thank you for workouts i think you are the best on utube…..

  • Would just add one more if you run of out stamina, just wait and it will come back. Too many people just quit the game at that point.

  • maybe it s better also make some 30 min workouts on reformer and cadiilac for beginners..also my strings has colours and two of the has not, pls write below which springs do u use while the pose..thank u so muh… highly appritiate

  • Just the best series I have come across, clear instructions reminding where we should be feeling the exercise AND where all the body parts should be.

Having so many routines to work through makes this my go to workout every time.
Thank you for sharing, it’s been a fantastic journey re discovering a fitter body shape AND a body without pain. Wish I had discovered Pilates decades ago!

  • Love this so much Nell, you have such a calm teaching manner. Great assured instruction. How often should I do each level before moving to the next? Also, I would really appreciate your professional opinion on this reformer, link below. Some other brands are not available in Scotland or UK. I thought this one as I can add to it as I get better:) https://align-pilates.com/products/studio-pilates-reformers/pilates-reformer-c2-pro-rc/

  • Hello Nell-I am in the market for an excellent quality home reformer. I have been working out at Club Pilates where they use Balance Body Reformers and love those-however they are a bit pricey. I am looking at their Allegro 2 which is a lower price point. Can you provide insight into your thoughts on where/how to purchase a home reformer? My budget is 2-3K. Thanks!

  • Thanks so much for this. I loved it. Your voice and teaching are so calming and informative. I have done my teacher training on the reformer but have struggled to find any classes here in the UK where I live so I can’t practice unless I just use my manual and then it’s stop start with no flow which is very frustrating. This is the perfect way to get to do a class remotely and it’s a lovely flow. I feel stretched and lengthened, strong and aligned!

  • WOW! Since COVID-19 we have not been able to go to the gym. For the price of a year’s membership for 2 two my husband and I just got our Aero Pilates machine from Target. Today was my first day with it and boy was this the workout I was looking for. The only thing that’s missing is having the box. I’ll have to modify it till my husband can get me a box or build me one. Thank you! I’ll keep doing this class till I master it.

  • Before playing this game you need to learn, know their language, their traditions, their beliefs which villages to save and which to leave

  • Just dusted off my reformer that stood in the corner of my bedroom for many years. Your program was perfect for me. I’ve completed the beginner’s level 1 three times and am looking forward to others! Thank you!!!

  • I’m almost halfway into the game, at which time I feel comfortable watching videos like this one without fear of major spoilers.

Speaking of progress, it’s obvious the makers of this particular video haven’t progressed into the second act yet, looking at resolve for example.

  • Good video but wheres the information on where these people are or vital locations on the map etc, its all good telling us about it but if we don’t know where to looks its like finding a needle in a hay stack ‍♂️

  • Hey Scott I stopped gym for like 2 years and I want to start back soon. What step by step supplements and practices should I get in order to put on size I’m a skinny guy.

  • I love your attention to detail!!! Your words really create a visual in my mind. I recently acquired an old reformer, it has ropes instead of bands and springs. It is not very smooth and very difficult to change the position of the handles. I can see now why it was given away but I hoped it would work. I am missing the smooth glide of a professional reformer I used when I first took a few classes a few years ago. Don’t quite know what to do. I am guessing whatever movement I can do is better than nothing.

  • Do not invest in the exploration of wind perks. Trust me that the game gives you so many clues to find everything you need without them. Way later on after you maxed everything if you are going for trophies and are missing certain shrines unlock the ones pertaining to them,

  • Thank you so much for this, Nell! We’re under stay-at-home orders here in California and I’m using this video multiple times a week in replacement for physical therapy for compressed L4 and L5 vertebrae, so thank you especially for the reminders to create space a length. My medicinal movement:) I can’t wait to follow this series with you!

  • I agree with you that health should be a lifestyle. Our bodies will be healthier and it will show in injuries or when you’re sick. I too lost motivation but I keep going because overall I just want to be healthier and be there for others. Now I take rest days and am less strict with my diet.

  • Hi I just purchased a reformer and my certification class has not started yet. I was looking for reformer classes to learn on you tube! I loved yours. I feel great after this workout. Thank you so much. Where can I find more reformer workouts? I don’t have the other equipment yet. Peace, Nicole
