  • So, I’ve done this workout at least 5 times now and it’s just so cool. It’s got power moves (like the 3 squats or the up jack down jack) and it’s got dance moves (like the 8 count turn or the kick ball change) and it’s fast and I’m just whirling round my step thinking “this is so great….I wonder when she’ll post the next one ”
Thank you so much for these awesome workouts!

  • Early on in my gym “career” I mentioned to my crappy personal trainer that I thought it might be a good idea to include drop sets in my routines. He thought that was a really stupid idea and that you should always be upping weight, at all times. I’m glad I ended my relationship with him soon after.

I love drop sets in machines due to being able to more quickly modify the weight than with something like a barbell and plates.

  • Oi Mister Miller

Edit: Ah got a little too long.
TL;DR: I can build my own gym equipment. What should I make?

I will go to college this year and will study engineering. My father owns an engineering and steel construction and processing company and I work there since last week. Maybe I’m a bit slow in the head for not realizing it during quarantine but I could make any gym machine myself. What gym equip would you think of making? It’s way cheaper than buying the stuff. I thought of dumbbells, barbells, a bench, a dip and pull up bar. Do you think there is anything I’m missing and would have huge benefits?

  • Following this awesome workouts guide “suza great plan” (Google it) will definitely work your way from burning unsightly belly fats to building six pack abs. The book contains reader-friendly instructions as well as guidelines. I was able to accomplish 6 pack abs in a short time. This guidebook is truly informative and I recommend everybody to utilize it too.

  • madam.. one doubt.. I have learnt most of the unscientific exercises for abs damage our disk and cause everlasting back pain.. I wanna know whether these too will lead to back pain or not.. it seems they don’t.. but gimme an expert opinion.. thanku:-)

  • I love you guys. Please make more of these fun videos. I do it with you every day. Waiting for more fun from you. Thanks from Sweden.

  • So I’m sitting here, watching Simon and eating breakfast, when a wild ad appears… for a Mr. Clean product. YouTube is getting smarmy…

  • I had to subscribe I love step you are the only and take this as a compliment you are the only white woman trainer that I have. Found on YT that can do step with some swag and rhythm it’s not boring, and I love the music, new subbie.

  • Thanks guys, exercise is a real chore for me, or should I say was a chore. Loved the beats, Daniel keep up the motivating comments. Please can I have more of these workouts to do. Love from New Zealand.

  • Instead of the tension one’s i prefer the really slow negative. It’s sort of the same thing but i feel like it’ll improve your strengh trough the whole motion instead of working in a locked position.

  • Awesome choreography! I sweat and it’s so much fun!!! The one hour went by quickly. I was so focussed following the moves! I am so happy to find you!!!!

  • Favourite finisher for push is a time under tension with dumbells for either chest or shoulders. Do a rep, hold at the bottom for 1, do second rep, hold at the bottom for 2, third rep, hold at the bottom for 3… Go all the way up to 12 and then back down to 1. It hurts so much

  • Love Love Love this advanced step workout! You just got me excited about step again! I love all the combos and the intricate choreography, I know a routine is awesome when a couple of the steps are tough and it takes me awhile to get it, and then I get so excited when I get it down I start thinking about certain combos later and I’m excited to do it again! Thank you so much I can’t wait to do your other routines too! you are AWESOME!

  • Today we did 3-6-9-12-15-12-9-6-3 with clean and jerk and row calories. Sucked pretty bad because I for some reason can not get a good form on the clean or snatch. Bench is over 300, squat over 300, and deadlift over 400, but can only clean an ugly 185 lol. But only 2.5 months back into crossfit so plenty of time to improve

  • Absolutely love that! Was challenging without being over the top.So much fun and worked up an amazing sweat. Was my first time getting on your workouts nice and I subscribed to your channel so I’ll be doing more for sure. Thank you

  • i love how i could do every move in this video but other low impact videos like the 20 minute has some tricky moves lol guess just needs practice

  • Simon Miller is that dude you want as a best mate, supportive, always gives top advice and probably could be your part time bodyguard if you asked nicely enough!

  • Having reached failure on preacher curls, ask someone to lift the bar for you and just focus on the negative (tension set?), it’s just an amazing feeling afterwards… cool list, Mr Miller!

  • Your advanced workouts are GREAT!!!! I love how you don’t keep repeating the same few steps for the full hour and you include a large variety. Love that you change it up, too, in your different videos. Thank you so very much for sharing your workouts, please, please, please keep them coming!!!!

  • Gina, I’ve finally decided to invest in myself and be healthier for me and for my daughter so that I can set a good example and see her grow up and live her life. Your upbeat personality and encouragement during the workouts has helped me so much! I’m so grateful that you don’t degrade just because you’re “walking”. Some people make you feel like that’s not really “working out”. I’m just glad that I found something I can stick to, and you make it easy. Thank you doesn’t seem fitting enough!! But truly, I am so grateful for you!!

  • I hope I’m asking these questions correctly….In finding your threshold are you speaking to your heart rate and the perceived exertion from learning that number? Or just perceived exertion? And would you say that finding your heart rate threshold for the goal of a running pace, for example, would be different than finding it for the high intensity dynamic movements of crossfit workouts? And have you used a heart rate monitor or any other tools to determine your thresholds?

  • Thanks for doing this topic from me mentioning it a few weeks ago!!! Of course this was extremely helpful. Going to put this into effect tomorrow.

  • Simon Miller: The Baldenator. Simon Miller: The Weightlifting Wizard. Simon Miller: The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be. Great video, Brometheus! Big love!

  • Your workouts have been the best thing I’ve ever come across on YouTube, working out just doesn’t feel like the chore it once was❤️

  • In general this abs guide “suza great plan” (Google it) is a superb guide and a must have for anybody who wants 6 pack abs. Simply speaking, if you want to look good (and I`m sure, feel great too!) have this book. I have only begun to implement the wisdom within and yes, there is some work involved.

  • I really liked this because I have to leave early in the morning but, this really short and fun so I have time for a morning workout.

  • This one is SO MUCH FUN!!! I’ve already done it 3 times since you posted it, and it just gets better. The first time through I didn’t get the 8-count turn right even one time , but by the second workout I felt like I was flying! These steps are so uplifting! I especially love how the full routine seamlessly loops on itself and repeats. It makes those four times through at the end feel like a big accomplishment!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!! Never done any of your videos before…but now im hooked! Love the tunes too which is a bonus! I am sweatttinnngggg. Good work

  • This was the exact thing i wanted to add in my life.
This is exactly what I can start with for now.. so that i can exercise amd not develop any hate for it(just kidding)
Man this refreshes me and adds energy to my routine.
Lots of love for you guys.

  • Great job by both of you guys on this AWESOME workout. That workout looked tough. You guys had AWESOME breathing during the workout. Thank you for sharing the tips on breathing while doing Wall-Balls. Is that the kind of breathing I need to be doing in my training for the next Open that starts in Feb.? Should I be working on everything regardless if it comes up in the next CrossFit Open?

  • Oh my gosh…so fun! The hardest part for me was that 8 count marching turn! Awesome way to start my day and I’m so glad I found this archived workout! Looking forward to a new one? Today?

  • Hi Simon. Just been watching some of your older videos and came across the push workout where you recorded yourself training.
100% understand your feelings about not wanting to record yourself, I think it’s amazing that people can even talk in front of a camera so taking that next step was incredible.
Anyway comments are disabled on that video so I had no option but to come here and say thank you for the video and let you know how much I enjoyed it.
Your channel along with Greg Doucette and John Meadows are my current favourites for training chat and tips. Not the worst company to get lumped in with…..
    Thanks again for everything.

  • I’ve been actively going to the gym for a month straight now 4-5 days a week and I’ve seen some really nice change I’m extremely skinny and I still am but I definitely put on a good bit of muscle I don’t take any supliments or anything I bearly even have an energy drink I’m 16 btw

  • It’s interesting how people feel about dropsets, for instance Eddie Hall advises against ever drop setting, just working up until you’re at 80% of your max (iirc)

  • SO MUCH FUN!!! I LOVE your routines and how you keep calling the steps the entire way through the workout…and did I mention the music?!?! it makes a difference! Keep them coming Kat!

  • I’m loving your workouts. I’ve been a step junkie for about 20 years and these are some of the best workouts I’ve done. Thanks again so much for posting these. The routine and music….just wonderful!

  • Someone needs to tell her there no such thing as spot reducing. She always says get rid of that tummy or make a smaller butt. That’s impossible

  • With all the fitness videos I’ve seen (thousands) I haven’t come across paused sets before. That is a brilliant idea!! Will be using these from now on.

  • I love everything Kat does! Even the basic routines make me sweat. This was probably my favorite so far. Great routine and amazing workout! I need more <3

  • I absolutely love this workout — just the right length and intensity to get a great burn!! Please keep them coming. Thank you again, Kat!!!

  • Super fun workout, thank you for sharing! I had to start cooling down after 40 minutes, but I will definitely be returning for the full version sometime soon. The steps felt natural and interesting. I especially thought the shuffle-straddle-pivot-squat combo felt really great on my legs. I’ll be sure to check out your other workouts.

  • Just what I needed after a day sitting at my desk choreo was great thanks Kat, you almost got me with the 8 count turn away from the step, just about ran into my dining table! Awesome music too, thanks for keeping us on our toes literally!

  • For guys who`ve tried using many ways to get six pack abs and have not still got results! You could try this abs guide “suza great plan” (Google it). I performed every day workout routines shown by the guide and I got Six pack abs consequently. Among the useful parts of this book is the 13 Ab plans section.

  • Wow, I did this workout first thing this morning. I am beat (almost want to eat unhealthy foods). This one really kicked my butt. The roof was definitely on fire. Thanks Kats for another great workout.

  • Here’s the truth yea people should care some what about how they look but people will love you just the way you are you don’t have to have a flat stomach and thin body you are amazing just the way you are and if people are telling you differently then you don’t need to talk to them you are perfect I know so many stories of people who have died because they don’t eat because they are worried about their appearance you don’t need to care about what others think just surround yourself with people who love you and won’t put you down for who you are don’t worry if people are hating on you ignore them and remember how amazing you are how beautiful/handsome you are how smart how cool how funny how nice how kind how sweet you are don’t care about haters they are just jealous
Just because people say things doesn’t mean its true they might just be having a rough day and take it out on you so if people are rude don’t worry about it know there are SO many people in this world that love you and care about you

  • So, so fun!!! I didn’t want it to end. Loved the fun, intricate choreography. I was short on space, so I ended up stepping on the bench on beats 2 and 6 of the 8 count turn. Keep these awesome classes coming, please!

  • Just did this routine again, love it!

I’ve been trying to remember the name of one of the songs for DAYS. If only I’d read the notes below it would have been easy

    #turnthisclubaround

  • Love your leggins, can you identify?
Love your workouts…they remind me of the gym routines I once did; since the “virus” I have opted to stay at home! Glad I found you

  • I love that you are doing these workouts. The advanced ones are challenging enough to keep me interested but not so difficult that I get frustrated and give up. Perfect!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

  • Well imagine a 9 year old doing this workout be cuz I’m actually just a little 9 yo old doing this and I’m actuallay. Getting some abs

  • Thank you for the walking part. Sometimes I need to bring the heart rate down before stretching but most go right to the stretching.

  • I absolutely LOVE this workout!! Just finished and I loved every second! The music is great and so motivating! Thank you for these awesome, fun workouts!

  • Great video, nothing wrong with simplicity! Far to much overcomplication in fitness, I was chatting to my misses about it this morning

  • Thank you so much! As a person suffering from clinical depression, I find it difficult to perform heavy exercises. Your low-impact work-outs make me feel like a winner!

  • If I’m using MyFitnessPal to track exercise and calories, would I categories these kinds of cardio workouts as “HIIT” or “Dancing”??

    Love your channel!

  • I am so grateful for this video. I’m really tired and was not feeling like working out at all today but then I remembered this video exists. I figured I can push through for ten minutes and that’s a whoooole lot better than not working out at all! Thank you for helping me build good habits! ♥

  • Started out a few days a week. Now for over a month and half I’m up to 5 days a week an hour or more a day! Not bad for a 58 year old woman! Loving the workouts, sweating and having fun at the same time!

  • I love this workout! Can someone please identify the song they are using at the beginning of this video? I would love to add it to my playlist when working out on my own!

  • Team Body Project I have lost 10 lbs and lowered my blood sugar 150 points in 2 months doing your work out. I wish I could say my knees are less sore though when I squat. Lol I still have a lot more to go.

  • This 6 pack abs guide “suza great plan” (Google it) is quite excessive guide. I think this book is quite useful for individuals who wants to slim down and have a six-pack abs at the same time. I almost shed Three pounds weight with in Ten days. I find this very useful. I just followed this comprehensive guide and get a toned abs. You need to try this book too.

  • I am so glad I have found these. Been a week straight of working out with the 30 minute videos. Then I found this gem after dinner. Your videos motivate me and I look forward to changing my life around. Thank you. ❤

  • I want to thank you Gina b Your exercises have really helped me, have helped my tennis footwork very very much thank you so much I hope you keep more coming

  • really enjoy this workout! this one is definitely the best especially if you don’t have enough time or you’re lazy to do longer workouts….

  • I love, love this quick workout!! I add it in when I still have energy left after a full work out session. I would love more of these!!

  • You are the best motivator on YouTube!
Just finished one of your Abs workout, and decided to finish with this cool down. It was perfect.

  • Oh my God, this is so fun, can you make another 4 like this one for a whole week. I am doing this 2-3 times a day:D no joke. You are so amazing!

  • i am just starting a fitness journey i have been putting off working out for a few days i saw this 10 minutes video and did it! I will do it again tomorrow and work my way up to longer cardio workouts! Thanks a lot for the quality contentTTTT

  • Pls add few zumba video’s. For beginners. I started workout only after watching your true beginners workout, and subscribed immediately. U gave me the motivation to get it started, and got me into discipline and the hope that i can do it. I am thankful that after going through so many channels for beginners, your attitude made me do that. Not just the steps.
Please please please add some zumba workouts or more workouts like this with music.

    Thanks. Hugs!!!

  • Awesome tips, i wasn’t aware of all of these, i will definitely be incorporating them into my workout routine at some point, probably when i hit a plateau. Cheers dude.

  • You guys are a fantastic couple. going strong Kristi nothing to stop you ️‍♂️ and Pat is a great support for you Lucky you have each other stay strong

  • Never been an exercise fan but I love doing your videos! I’ve been converted well and truly! I do a 30 minute one and then this one later on. I love the high energy and how even a total beginner, like me, is able to keep up and do all the moves (with plenty of sweat mind )

  • Hi, its really amazing workout. I am following all your cardiac sessions. Give tips for how many session wants to do per day? And after complete workout what wants to do?

  • great vid the breathing cycle very helpful in recovery and not losing stamina in a long routine. never but never hold your breath in any lift or it really throws u for a loop in a workout i know personally. have fun

  • Oh my goodness! I had so much fun, when I first saw you jump up with exhale, I was like, oh no she is about to kick my butt:-) I have been stepping for years and you are the best so far, music on point, queuing on point, awesome energy and most entertaining…5 stars:-)

  • Thank you so much! I’ve been training to get a 6 pack forever and I finally had one but stopped because I noticed my waist startedd getting bulky. Finally found someone without any bulk.

  • funny fing im 10 and a girl u see im a tufe girl and i fight alout but for a good reson like bulles i befend the kid that is getting bulled by fighting the bulle
    im just 10

  • This is one of my favorites, I can’t pick just one! I did it today with 2 risers, PHEW!
Any chance of a 90 minute step for the extra energy days? You’re an incredible trainer!

  • I’ve got the working out part it’s the clean eating in order to lose the fat layer on top of my lovely 6 pack that’s underneath. Lol.

  • I think when squatting most people only do pause sets…. Guns, wheels, Abbs and shields…. Finishers Ryan what’s his name on YouTube refers to them as widow makers a set preformed at the end with very high reps and lighter weight.

  • The reason I prefer drop sets on a machine is that it’s really easy to actually drop the weight. Just taking the pin out and moving it from 80kg to 75kg is much easier than jumping up off a bench, take off a plate either side, then sitting back down.

  • I find this 6 pack abs guide “suza great plan” (Google it) extremely excessive. I think this book is quite useful for people who wants to slim down and have a six-pack abs simultaneously. After Ten days of following the guide, I lost weight as much as Three pounds. I find this very useful. I just followed this detailed guide and attain a toned abs. You should try this book as well.

  • Hey Simon. I used to be 20+ stone, Im now down to 13 and have a problem with excess skin. Ive only been working out since UK lockdown started so I know I’ve got a long way to go but in your experience can a massive fat guy obtain a decent physique or am i doomed to be a flappy monster forever without having surgery?

  • I started watching your videos 6 days out of the week, for almost 3 weeks now. I’ve already lost 5 pounds from this alone. Thank you for creating these videos that encourages us to continue fighting and making it through each video at our own pace. I’m asthmatic with PCOS and it’s SO HARD to exercise and attempt to lose weight. I’ve just found the best coaches out there. Thank you for all that you both do! Proud to say I’m a part of Team Body Project.

  • Following this abs guide “suza great plan” (Google it) helped me get 6 pack abs. Getting 6-pack abs is a lot easier if you`re physically fit and you use several of the guide’s special methods. You could certainly look nice with 6-pack abs, providing you more self-confidence. Aside from that, six-pack abs does not have any relation to your general mental and physical well-being.

  • One of my favorite drop/super set on my push day is; 5 reps at 225lbs flat barbell bench. Immediately into 20 reps at 135lbs flat barbell bench. Immediately into 20 reps 30lbs dumbbell crush press. I make sure to focus on mentally squeezing the elbows together to really stress the pecs. Just thought I’d share.

  • Thank you for short videos like this! I did this one on my break at work (WFH) and got a great sweat up! I dont have the coordination for some you tubers dance workout videos i love that even with simple easy to follow steps im able to have fun and get a good little workout in. ❤️❤️❤️

  • Thank u a lot hope u doing more videos About 6 packs for girls ” I tried ur exercise Today but For 10 mints not 5 I Felt My belly lines seemed a little bigger and tighter
