  • I am sure exercise is very effective for treating enlarged prostate, on my 2 off days, mostly no activity, sorry my urine flow is very thin, but on my working days as a pizza delivery job that urine flow goes back strong again…just saying about my personal experience…that means even after just one day being physically active, you see the change…btw 3 years ago i had prostate cancer treatment by proton therapy

I’m 36 and had a complete pelvic floor repair 7 weeks ago. two weeks into my recovery and I was in hospital with pneumonia, I feel this has undone my surgery and feel my uterus descending again. iv had a check up and they’ve confirmed my uterus has begun descending again. I feel so down and was wondering if while I’m still healing can my uterus possibly be held up.? I also have weak tissue (I think fascia). I have asked my gyne all these things but they seem hesitant to answer until the 12 week recovery period is over

  • My eye gets strained in the morning when I wake up with dry eyes and if I focus on something like the clock to soon, then the eye just pops as if somebody just poked me. It stings and hurts and I get blurred vision. It can last for hours but what I do to relieve it is I go back to sleep. Sleep another hour, wake up and for me, it just magically goes away. Vary frustrating condition.

  • Dr. Allen, probably many people are like me and already asked, but…. will my 1 month constant eye strain and blurry vision (my right eye only) when looking farther objects ever go away? I can’t even get 2 hours of doing my IT job without getting pain.   • If u are facing a problem where u cannot withstand lot of light in your eyes then the solution is
    1. Get a tumbler of hot water and give some hot water massage to your eyes
    2. Get a heat massage or a haircut if u have a lot of hair. This will decrease the pressure on your head.
    3. If u really don’t feel well get enough sleep. Even if u have to sleep 2 times a day.
    4. Be confident and don’t worry.
    5. If not helpful at all just consult a doctor for safety.

  • I suffer from migraines almost daily since 5 months. Be aware these problems can be caused by different things too, f example check your bite and your teeth. What helps me is cold and warm method, I make a hot water bottle and place it behind my neck, also have a cold eye mask I keep it in the fridge. Good luck all of you with migraines

  • I’ve diabetes type 2 and NP told me to exercise even though i work as construction manual laborer.I do the eating healthy part but I’m exhausted by the end of my work day. Another provider told me diabetes type 2 my muscles can’t get the sugar from my blood so that may be why muscles feel tired? I’m also testing myself with a meter a few times a day. Do I still need to walk after work somehow? I just want to rest for the next grueling day.

    Is sitting further away than “High Five distance” better? as long as you’re not straining to see small details?
    Just had cataract surgery in my right eye (Had to be my good eye didn’t it…) and went for a toric Distance IOL and anything less than an arm’s length away is out of focus. (Waiting on a proper Toric contact lens for the other eye so hopefully I can see better up close)
    Is eye strain/dry eye less likely to occur because I’m sitting further away? or because it’s a computer screen, constant bright images etc. I’m still susceptible to eye strain?
