This practice is my favourite for drawing a line under my working day and switching to recreational time:) Even though it’s only five minutes, it feels a long time now since I was hard at work and I am ready for a relaxing evening.

My anxiety starts with a hot flash and stomach drops, (like on a rollercoaster), then the bad thoughts and fast heartbeat and then another small hot flash.   • I have a problem with my heart and muscle contraction. I have no standard fears or depression, I am just anticipate and feeling this waiting is some kind of choking inside me. Unfortunately my problem is not possible to fix at this moment. When I think about this problem many times per day, I can feel some kind of heart cutting similar when someone yank you and you get frighten at the moment. I used to have depression, but I solve this problem becuse I accepted that this is just my illusion and it is not real.   • Just yesterday morning I made a decision to start yoga. Then my (almost) 3 year old was admitted to the hospital for at least overnight. Today, I decided to at least try just something small. My stress and anxiety levels are through the roof. I have 4 kids all under 3! My almost 3 year old, a 1 year old, and 4 month old twins. As a single mom it gets very very trying at times. I hate admitting it but I’m definitely burnt out. I have heard that yoga is great for stress relief. Also there are modifications that can be made. I’m considered extremely obese, although I carry it well and I’m confident, I know the numbers are not good at all. I have also heard that you can lose weight from yoga so added bonus for me. But could you give me some ideas on what to start with? Is it worth going to an actual class or would YouTube videos suffice?

  • Just to clarify the information about serotonin…the serotonin produced in the gut has many important functions in physiological homeostasis acting as a hormone, but it does not pass through the blood/brain barrier and therefore has no effect on serotonin receptors in the brain. Only serotonin produced IN the brain can influence mood.

Listen to a podcast, if bored, or read the paper in the garden.     First, Let me introduce myself. I am Vikas Kumar, currently jobless but with aim of joining CIVIL Services. I had anxiety and Panic Attacks but now I am good to face anything.
    Now I would directly jump to answer how to overcome anxiety and Panic Attacks or rather How I managed it without taking medicines anymore:
    General Steps: 1. Learn to Stop OverthinkingI mean “just leave aside your problems”. You need to be aware that you don’t have to worry of anything. By anything I mean smallest or biggest problem of your life. Even while in panic attack remember that this is just a “bull shit” and nothing will happen to you. In few attempts you can find yourself independent of these attacks.

    2. Keep SOS prescribed medicines at homekeeping emergency (SOS) medicine will help your brain not to panic. Believe me, it works.
    (However, I am not the right person to recommend any medicine, consult your psychiatric)

    3. Be physically strongExercise, Strength Training ( Lifting of heavy weights), endurance training (running at different paces etc) will help you gain confidence and flush away harmful cortisols (stress hormones) and will boost happy hormones (endorphins, etc).

    4. Meditate and relaxsimple meditation will boost your ability to be stable. Just watch your breath and you will feel relaxed.

    5. Start taking chamomile Tea(flower) (instead of normal tea or coffee): chamomile tea relieves stress to a great extent. Please find the link below:

  • Okay this is kinda weird so don’t judge. I always been an actions person but I realized I had really bad anxiety when I went in my first date with this guy. We were hanging out for a few hours but once he put his arm around me I got super nervous even though throughout the date I was perfectly fine, and I almost immediately got so nervous I got nauseous and puked in front of him it was so humiliating �� then I puked again after I stood up. After that he still had a thing for me which was nice so we went out a few times after that and every time I puked ����‍♀️ eventually it got so bad I couldn’t even see him face to face because I was so scared to throw up again. We ended things because I wanted time to myself to fix myself mentally but every time I go out I get super anxious that I’m gonna see him and throw up.   • How did I overcome my anxiety and manage it on day to day basis?

    First, Let me introduce myself. I am Vikas Kumar, currently jobless but with aim of joining CIVIL Services. I had anxiety and Panic Attacks but now I am good to face anything.
    Now I would directly jump to answer how to overcome anxiety and Panic Attacks or rather How I managed it without taking medicines anymore:
    General Steps: 1. Learn to Stop OverthinkingI mean “just leave aside your problems”. You need to be aware that you don’t have to worry of anything. By anything I mean smallest or biggest problem of your life. Even while in panic attack remember that this is just a “bull shit” and nothing will happen to you. In few attempts you can find yourself independent of these attacks.

    2. Keep SOS prescribed medicines at homekeeping emergency (SOS) medicine will help your brain not to panic. Believe me, it works.
    (However, I am not the right person to recommend any medicine, consult your psychiatric)

    3. Be physically strongExercise, Strength Training ( Lifting of heavy weights), endurance training (running at different paces etc) will help you gain confidence and flush away harmful cortisols (stress hormones) and will boost happy hormones (endorphins, etc).

    4. Meditate and relaxsimple meditation will boost your ability to be stable. Just watch your breath and you will feel relaxed.

  • TIPS from me, a person who experienced a lot of panic attacks:

    Find someone that has a close relationship with you (Parents, bestfriends, spouse, etc). Tell them you want to sit with them and talk about something calming, tell them you are sorry for everything that you did to them and proceed to tell them that you want to be massaged, tell them to massage your back and give you some tickles (At your neck or hip). Repeat this steps until your panic attack goes away.

    Sounds weird but this works for me every damn time i had a panic attack. If you don’t have anyone then find some stranger and tell them you have a heart attack and tell them to call an emergency number.
