  • Hey Dylan, love what you and your crew are doing. I heard the comment about the hater who thought your work was a bit too reliant on technology. I get the whole, doing it by hand puts more character in the work thing, that’s kinda where I am myself, but I see how the equipment can open doors that are locked up tight for old fashioned guys like myself. Perhaps there’s some envy involved, maybe not. Anyway, there’s always something to be learned from everyone. BTW. It was nice seeing a table with no epoxy, although it did look like it could have benefitted from a few more butterflies towards the open end of the crack. It looked great though. Do you guys ever do trestle style bases?

  • Well I think with that broken table piece you can still make a very good console table, just cut it and finish it!

You can give away to some fan of BFWCo (like me) if you don’t want to sell it!

  • I loved hearing what your favourite style of yoga is and why. Thanks for sharing that Christina:) Hope that the 12 days is going well:) Namaste, Melissa

  • Thank you so much. I am looking forward to the other 11 days. I just discovered your channel; and after having been off the mat for awhile, due to laziness, I am getting back on it.

  • I think there are some exceptions. If someone has done a prolonged internship or has worked under a highly qualified coach for a long period of time he or she may be qualified to be an excellent personal trainer. I don’t think asking about certifications is always the way to go. I would more so ask about experience and where did that experience take place. I know many of people with letters behind their name and degrees that know the books but don’t know how to train.

  • You guys inspired me. I’m gonna try to do a pour this summer. I’m gonna try and embed some pieces of broken hockey sticks into a footstool-sized slab so that it looks like they’re frozen in an ice rink.

  • Hello Dillan. Great video.
Have you ever made any table out of ziricote (cordia dodecandra) will love to see how it comes out

  • Totally do more Q & A!!!! I love all the videos and the start to finish ones are very satisfying to see.
One question: Do you only silicone the frame? I don’t see the wood slabs being siliconed down but rather clamped down from above then planed off for the finished surface. Am I correct and if so could you explain why this is your preferred technique? Thanks in advance.

  • Love the videos! I want to try to make a small resin table myself using azobé wood i got lying around (also known as ekki, red ironwood or bongossi). Will this work or is that wood way too dense and oily for the resin to make a solid bond? Will it just break apart when it’s dry or am I safe? Thanks

  • Only question I have ia do you sell to consumers? I’ve been thinking of resining my paintings to give them a different look instead of having them all just varnished.

Love watching the videos & seeing what y’all are working on.

  • exelant work again guys love watching the projects come together., still was wondering when the wall art would be in cant wait to have it hanging on my wall

  • I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have watched all your videos to date (except the old shop tour since you had a new one).
Only sad part about this is that I now have to wait a week for a new video to come out.
Keep up the good work, and if I one day get rich enough to buy a table from you (well mostly afford shipping it to Sweden) I most certainly will.

  • I guess this is a lucky video, people commenting they have interview next day got the job. I have mine tomorrow, hope to get good result!

  • Great videos as usual guys love your work. Take it buying and getting your epoxy in the UK would turn out expensive with shipping and taxes that we would have to pay here in the UK?

  • Loved it!! Really interesting, also seems like a great place to work. That alone is important to me, even just as a subscriber that watches these videos. My question for next time is, ‘who’s your camera operator AND who’s the editor?’ Cuz honestly, they do a great job. Anyway, love your channel and hope you don’t eventually bring in too many machines to do a persons work. Lee UK

  • My interview is next week and it’s my dream job.

I love all of her advice

I’m so nervous pray for me you guys wish me luck! God bless you all and have a great day

  • You don’t need to watch a 12 minute video… to all my guys out there no matter what job you’re trying to get, the same applies.

How to ace the interview and get the job..

Walk in and greet the interviewer with a firm handshake and say “HEY BOSS! HOW’S THE WIFE AND KIDS?”

Interviewer “Boss? You’re hired, when can you start?”

  • Hey guys, when your done pouring and say using micro pearl with dye does the exothermic reaction cause it to change? So Im using ecopoxy (I know wrong product but I had 12 liters left) and Bubbles gone and grabbed a wood stick to create a pattern. Came back 3 hours later and it morphed, not in a bad way as its beautiful but wonder if it happens to you?

  • Which is why I only trust and follow workout tips on this channel (ever since I found it)
Too many fitness influencers out there and yes they look great but I don’t only wanna look great, I wanna be healthy in the long run too

  • I Love you Guy’s and Gal’s. Makes me want to move back to Florida! I’m one of the few Florida Native. M. D. R. Make Dreams Reality ♥

  • Here is DAY 1 of my 12 Days of ChriskaYoga! If you’re following along, I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE for you to share it with your friends on social media! Tag me @chriskayoga and use the hashtag #12DaysOfCY

  • Great stuff! Thanks for all the videos, I’ve learned a lot. One thing I’m curious about. It seems you often pour the resin over the top of the piece you’re making. Why do you do that? Seems like it creates a ton more work to sand or plane that off.

  • How do I go about ordering epoxy, and if I wanted to buy that $50 crate of wood, is it possible (and affordable) to have it shipped to me. I’m 77 years old, just got the workshop I’ve been wanting my entire life. Would LOVE to buy that box of wood, because it’s really difficult to find good wood where I live (north of Phoenix in the mountains).

    Love your videos.

Never play the blame game. Interviewers try to make an interviewee comfortable enough to openly discuss previous employers and their company cultures. But, be careful not to spill too much tea. The worst thing you can do is blame everything that may have been wrong if you cannot say what went right, too. Nothing turns off hiring managers more because they always look to see what a relationship with you could potentially look like in the future.

  • Dylan, a fantastic video. Maybe your best. The musical bits were well placed. Hats off to the editor. Showing the disaster table demonstrates there is nothing easy about what you do. Must have been an expensive lesson.

That door with circular focus is magnificent. One of these days I will visit but not for the $50 box. NY city apartments just aren’t big enough.

  • Great video! I am having problems with my metallic epoxy pigments all mixing together and becoming monotone. Do you have any suggestions for this?

  • I am wondering about a large piece of wall art, perhaps the size of a “normal” dining room table. But I have no idea how much something like that would weigh, nor how one would attach that safely to a wall?? Any response would be greatly appreciated.

  • Question, I live in Nevada and in the summer it gets to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. So would I be able to pour resin without getting the temperature way down to 70 degrees in my shop?

  • Curious about a couple things. I am looking to fill a round 42” beer cap table I’m hoping to put outside. It is grouted and ready for epoxy, I have a general use 2 part epoxy, can I put a bunch of layers of polyurethane on top of the fill to make it okay to put outside? Do you recommend another method to help make epoxy exterior?

  • I am in UK across the pond. Would that be the same here. Or is it just in the USA. Very interesting video.
As for online I follow Jeff at atlean X. He is also very good.

  • Y’all I just attended my first interview and followed the tips in this video and I’m not sure if I’ll be selected pray for me please I’ll update you when the results come (in 1 week)

    Update: guys I got selected!♥️

  • You you would like to try to maybe one time tell us how you price your tables I don’t know how to price a table it takes a lot of work and I don’t have a CNC machine I do it by hand but I love your videos

  • Hello! First, let me just tell y’all about myself. I am a really shy person and I don’t like socialising anymore. I get afraid of talking to anyone on phone calls. So, whenever my elder sister talks to me regarding a job I get way too nervous because I lack Confidence. (i fear rejection too) I am way too introverted that I get tensed just by thinking of going to an interview. I don’t know anything about What they’ll ask me? How should I act? If they would accept a girl who lacks confidence? (ik they wouldn’t, no one would) but still…

Now I feel like crying because idk why I am like this. Please suggest me something. What should I do? How can I change myself? Why am I like this???:'(

  • Awesome work. Keep the q&a. Loved the explanation of the table legs, keep that going too. Would you send to Nova Scotia. I want to make a river table and I’m trying to convince myself lol. Nothing big. Just a coffee or end table.

  • Wow…..I can tell you guys are awesome craftsmen!….This is my trade and I’ve been doing Fine end Carpentry since I was 15 in Mexico!..I’m only that, but backwards now 51 hehe….That 50 bucks wood scraps is a steal!…too dammn far to go get them…..I;m glad I found this channel, and you young man as the presenter….. you’re the man! sharp on the info, no NONESENSE!..eeihaaa!

  • You’ll probably get at least 50 people here in the comments who will want that $50 wood cart…..and I’m one of them. Just checked maps app 1,180 miles away so I’ll pass for now:)

  • Hi. I’m new to you’re channel. I wanted to ask if, doing squats or anything that has to do with hip strengthening will make my hips worse. I have severe osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in both hips which makes it hard for me to walk. I’d appreciate any feedback if possible. TIA❤✌

  • Thanks Dylan great and informative Q&A!!

managed to squeeze 2 of my questions in the vid, nice diversion from the wall art part!

  • Thanks guys, so much to learn being a fellow woodworker in Australia looking at doing some resin pours. We work with recycled timber mainly railway sleepers have you done much work with recycled timber like this…
    Best regards

  • Dylan, is there a way your metal fab guys can build the table legs so the sides/uprights are slightly tensioned with a small (hidden)return for fixing so it doesn’t show through and impede the beauty of the resin? Love watching, I’d love a table but I’d need to sell a kidney to cover freight costs to Australia

  • I agree with having a good cert. and on experience but really a personal training is just that. No one with a 4 year degree is going to work for a health club or for the peanuts some personal trainers make. Most trainers focus on exercise for fitness. They’re not doctors or nutritionists, please cut it out!!!

  • This vedio is really a lucky charm, when I watched this before my interview, passed through many comments that “I got the job”… But now I too got the job that too in a dream company & package!!!
To all those preparing for ur interviews, I wish u all the best and luck!
    Always beleive❤️

  • I wish I was close enough to get one of those 50.00 carts, The small projects that I could make out of that would last me for a few years!!!!!!

  • Hello, good morning. Hope you are doing well.

I want to know that how personal trainer conduct and design sessions and how much sessions a client needs according to his fitness goals?

  • @Black Forest Wood Co. You say you sell those off-cuts for $50 (im assuming thats USD). I live in the Southern States. Would it be possible to buy something like that African Wenge and have it mail to me?

  • Loved the Q&A!!! I wish I could buy the $50 bin, it would cost too much to ship it to me!!! I did not realize y’all had been around for that long!! Congratulations!!! Has your business, or at least inquiries, picked up since you started this channel?? I think if you made gaming tables, something that could be switched from, say chess to backgammon, and also be used as a card table, it may be a nice addition to the beautiful pieces you already produce!!

  • It is such a shame that the business world has boldly embraced obfuscation and deception in order to accomplish anything, which in this context a job interview. If you tell the truth you are rejected. They welcome the action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth. Like a salesman.

  • Hei dude, thanks for the work that you do and helping the community. I was wondering why do you guys prefer OIL FINISH as opposed to Resin one?

  • Great video! Wish I lived closer to y’all. How long does it take for a typical table y’all make to full cure? Do you say the the threaded inserts are the best way to go or can you just use screws?

  • Put some gloves on when picking up that broken epoxy. That stuff’s as sharp as broken glass and you don’t want to find that out the hard way lol.

  • as always awesome video plus thanks for all those tips that you guys do give away it’s really amazing what you are doing.
just have a question do you guys ship this scrap box abroad and by abroad I mean like Egypt

  • I have an interview in 2 hours, and this is my first interview.

I’m just commenting this to be a lucky charm since everyone here seems to have succeeded…

  • Woah! Can’t wait to meet you at the home and garden show! I’m a local that loves what you guys do. Show got even better!
