If you haven’t worked out in a while its okay to start off slow. Walking just 5 minutes a day is a great start. As you get stronger you can increase the time to 10 minutes, 20 minutes and then 30 minutes. When you walk, or do any type of exercise for that manner, you release what is commonly referred to as feel good hormones. Some are even going so far as saying that walking is the best way to burn fat and lose weight.

  • I started running less as I gained 6 pounds last month. I was running 30 minutes at 13.6kph and walking 6000 -10000 steps I ate 1800 calories daily. Im now at a weight that negatively effects my health but am half a pound down from the last two weeks but my routine is punishing 10000 steps. I get migraines and call it with withdrawal. I’m lonely and jealous of everyone can eat and maintain their weight week on week. Ive something wrong in my health abnormal cells and appointment was cancelled over covid 19. I drink often but factor in the calories how much would that affect weight. I’ll know soon hopefully covid 19 delayed proceedings I complained and was told I’ll be looked in two weeks. I feel my weight drastically increased the risk but seeing that kind of weight gain over the last month makes me despair.

  • The science of walking is a video about the hidden science of walking. It deals with the impact of walking and lack of walking on the mind and the body through the citation of a scientific and philosophical literature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVcD_0okJ6k

  • I work on my feet so I away get 15000 to 20000 or more a day. It sound like I great idea I just dont know if I want to walk more then at

  • Hey Bob & Brad! Really good advice. There is one more reason to watch your videos. You are now also the ‘most famous mental therapists on the internet ‘
    In my opinion of course.

  • I’ve just started going for an hour walk a day, outside and because I push a buggy, my step counter didn’t count my steps. Then I do 30 mins at home either marching on the spot or using my exercise bike. I try and do 90 mins per day and have found this useful. Lots of water too.

  • I’m not a morning person. I have a stressful job. I get home at 6pm, put on my exercise clothes, and work out. It’s a habit. It helps with stress and sleep. I don’t feel right if I don’t exercise.

  • Hi guys! I have a 23 yr old son 6’3 220 lbs mechanic on his feet all day with back pain. Hes as stubborn as tall. What are a few things he could start doing at home every day to make his back feel better and core stronger without gym. Hes very Covid-19 careful. Thanks!

  • I was very skinny and after changing my diet I finally started seeing results. I didn’t know anything about training and diet, but my friend told me for the website called Next Level Diet and I just followed their diet and training plan. They have amazing tips 😉 check it out

  • Bonjour Leslie, j’ai découvert ta vidéo et depuis 3 mois je marche 3 jours par semaine avec toi!tu es géniale motivante et positive milles merci à toi je t’aime

  • Because of my hobby and my job I do at least 20k steps. For excercise I jump rope 2k+ and some dumbbell activities every day. Also, I eat one Vegan meal a day. I believe my body looks a bit athletic.

  • The radio/TV news is horrendous propaganda. So hard to escape it here in the UK. 3 mins every hour on BBC radio, even on catch-up?!

Will-power is no match for good habits. Like work v play.

  • Thank you Leslie! My daughter showed you for me. My goal is to achieve semi marathon Göteborgsvarvet in Gothenburg, Sweden, faster. 2021 will be my 5th. Also to loose weight. Normally I do poulse training with Itrim, Gothenburg, Sweden. Itrim is established in San Fransisco, California, and in China. Thank you again.

  • I would love to watch this video. Advice to Autumn Bates. For goodness sake SLOW DOWN YOUR SPEECH. Speak slowly and clearly. People from all over the world are watching you. W AH KING what do you mean. W O R KING is this word. and you race your words to make them SO UN CLEAR. Please please please listen to this advice. You have a good subject here and I will return and listen to you BUT WITH SO MUCH DIFFICULTY. Remember IN THE FUTURE TO SLOW DOWN.and move your mouth and speak CLEARLY

  • The most important fitness tool everyone forget is discipline. People always complain about there diet and exercise are not working but lack so much discipline and consitency

  • This is crap. Sheer Willpower will get you through more than you realize. Willpower gets you up off your ass or out of bed to go work out. Willpower can get you through that 1 more drop set or even last rep.
No disrespect to Bob and Brad they are the best physical therapists on the internet. But I totally 100% disagree that willpower dosen’t help you.

  • I m obesse and weigh 143 kgs.
Doing this twice daily for three days.
Now I feel easy to move.
I mean instead of asking someone to bring water I go myself and take it.
Easy to work out. I want mobility first. Hope it will help me carry myself easier

  • Eat low calorie dense foods and started walking, i started 55 days ago, 7 kgs/15.4 lbs lost. Went from 8k to around15k steps. Some days i do a bodyweight workout or rope skipping if i feel like it. Eat low calorie dense foods that you can eat everyday, find the foods that you can eat the rest of your life

  • Hi Leslie you are amazing and you inspire so many I walk every day with you and you help when I am not feeling to energetic to go out.I love this as it is not just walking its working the whole body

  • After my two hip replacement surgeries, both my orthopedic surgeon & my chiropractor told me to walk. I started one month ago, one hour, every morning. I also started doing a lot of stretching for my hips, pelvis & lower back to start correcting bio mechanical problems I developed when I was disabled, which cause me chronic sciatic nerve & lumbar spine pain. I went on the ketogenic diet plan as well. I’ve done that diet before & do quite well on it. So far I’ve lost ten pounds & have made significant improvements with mobility & chronic pain management. I’m aiming to lose at least 40 LBs & correct my bio mechanical problems enough to be able to go back to the gym when this COVID business is over with. I had to stop training when my hips went to hell in a hand-basket from avascular necrosis. A severely restricted blood supply to the joint that kills the hip joint head so it collapses. Then you can’t move the joint without severe, debilitating pain. Same damn thing happened to my brother. So I guess it’s hereditary. Surgeon said it was.

  • I’ve been doing this “walk at home” exercises for the last 3 months during the lockdown period and believe me…THE RESULTS ARE AMAZING!!
Thank you very much for your great contribution to make us all fit and healthy!

  • When I first saw these walk at home workouts I was very sceptical but I’ve now done a few of these (usually at 7am straight after an 11 hour shift) I’ve built up to this one this morning! A nice 337 cals burnt! Thank you! #sweatingforthewedding

  • Hello
I want to start today with this workout, how many times in week should I exercise? And try this only or with cardio or abs workout? Thank you

  • Walking for weight loss is all about losing calories. The more resistance in your walk the more calories burned. I haven’t heard any “walking expert” suggest walking using your hands on an incline with extra weights added to your frame. Any YT weight loss guru can claim and use this tactic.

  • My friends and I have been doing these walking programmes for the last 10 weeks while in lock down in Portugal. We do half hour in the morning and half hour late afternoon. The results are fantastic I have lost 15 pounds but 8 inches around my body. Many thanks. happy walking

  • healthy heart with low cortisol.?I am 52 years old and have seen that I should be between 85–145 bpm. But at 145 bpm will that cause the same amount of cortisol as running. This the (50–85 percent of maximum) healthy heart ratio I saw on line.

  • Thank You for posting this informative video. But I am having a hard time meeting my daily calorie amount so if I add 10k steps in, I am afraid that my body may think that I’m starving it. ‍♀️ idk anymore.

  • I started doing 10000 steps… Around 7.5 km… In the morning everyday… Coupled with diet control I dropped 15 kg in three months and my BMI is exactly 25…

  • Leslie you are just the best. I never thought excercise could be this easy and so much fun. Especially your walk walk walk. Oooo it gives me a kick to do more.

  • Im sorry but motivation temporary? Every decision you make in life is a choice. Its called self discipline. There is no limit to willpower sorry! If you cant control your own mind than you will be miserable.

  • THIS MAKES SINCES
IM HAVIN TO RIDE ME BIKE FOR BLOOD PRESSURE LOWERING
BUT BECAUSE I KNOW IM SUPPOSE TO KEEP A CERTAIN SPEED MAKES ME LIKE TIRED BEFORE I START (:)

  • For years I thought running meant more calories were being burning then discovered that only time really matters. I started walking for 1 hour. As I slowly lost weight I increased my walk time because when I weighed 200lbs I burned more calories walking for 1 hour than I do now at 160lbs.

  • wow glad I did this today so much sadness and negativity in my life but feeling so much better I can do this I can handle whatever is placed in my way no obstacle shall deter me

  • 5 Month Weight Loss 2020
    —Feb. 24th July 24th—
    Starting Weight 252 lbs
    Steps 3,657,697
    Miles 1,785.7
    Current Weight 192.5 lbs
My diet was roughly comprised of 2,000 calories per day and I used Intermittent Fasting with a 16/8 window. I did not eliminate ANY foods or food groups entirely, however, I consumed zero liquid calories… I even had pizza, ribs, Chinese-takeout, cookies, ice cream, and key lime pie during the past 5 months. I lost 59.5 lbs in 152 days… that’s an average of 0.39 lbs per day. This means I maintained an average caloric deficit of 1370kcal per day. This is consistent with my BMR http://www.bmrcalculator.org (recalculated as I became lighter) and caloric burn from walking estimated from https://www.verywellfit.com/walking-calories-burned-by-miles-3887154 (also recalculated based on longer distances in months 1 and 2 when I was also at my heaviest). Over the 152 days I didn’t miss a single day of walking, although I did have several very light days. My slowest pace was just over 2 mph in Feb. and my fastest pace is currently just under 4 mph. Finally, all of this tracks with my experience of greater weight loss at the beginning of my process and a slower rate of loss in months 4 & 5. The only costs of this program have been a subscription to Audible and 4.5 pairs of Nikes.

Moral of the story… You can absolutely lose weight quickly if you focus on WHEN you eat and put in the miles one step at a time.

  • how about a video of starting a weight lifting program for a slightly overweight woman over 50 with Rheumatoid Arthritis, lol!! I seriously need help and motivation. gyms or personal trainors are not an option. Jealous Husband, lol!!

  • Actually pretty sure walking isn’t helping you lose weight cause it doesn’t burn many damn calories. Not sure why YouTube even thought I’d want to listen to this.

  • Ah maybe that’s why I’ve lost weight during quarantine I just randomly get up and walk around all over the place Soo ig thanks ADHD…kinda

  • Çok teşekkür ederim lesli hanım müthiş enerjiniz vermiş olduğunuz pozitif enerji,göstermiş olduğunuz güleryüz ile beni adeta bana bunları yapmaya mecbur ettiniz 3 gündür yapıyorum 1 kilo verdim.

  • My husband suggested that I walked 10,000 steps, and before I had a moment to think or even walk 10,000 steps for the first time, he suggested I could increase it to 12,000 steps.

However, I have started walking and have now walked over 12,000 steps 4 times this week. I previously tried low carb diets, slim fast, running and walking, YouTube workouts etc etc. Nothing has been more successful than walking 10,000 steps a day. It’s working, I am using Slim Fast still x two shakes a day and a normal meal. Because of the calorie deficit (I burn off 700-900 calories each time I walk) I am loosing weight whoo hoo!

  • you just have to eat enough protein its not rocket science. i hate when people make things more complicated than what it is. if you don’t eat enough protein in a day your metabolism will automatically slow down your body takes more energy to break down protein than any other nutrient.

According to Harward scientists and their exact measurements from few years ago, there are no differences between daily energy expenditures of tribe members who walk 20000 steps a day and Americans who walk 4000 steps a day, when height, weight, race etc. is accounted for. Kinda destroys “walking for fat loss”, at least longer term. Your body simply prefers you expend certain amount of energy and if you walk more long term, it downregulates other bodily activities in organs etc. to meet that pre-determined number. You move the needle through diet, potentially. But even that is hard in this obesogenic environment. They do it because they truly don’t have food available so there is no internal struggle and brain desires food less when it’s not available.

  • Don’t forget when you get home, there are dirty dishes in the sink from others in your household. There goes another glass into the bucket.

  • Thanks Roberta for this wonderful experience…. have a doubt like how long for a person to reduce a optimal weight loss along with diet and exercise

  • I would recommend you find some poles to walk. http://www.keenfit.com has them. Been using them for over 13 years. Gives you a great ‘cross country ski’ movement and burns way more calories than just plain walking in a shorter time. Also, it makes you walk faster without realizing it. Combined with carnivore/keto and intermittent fasting, I have broke my year and a half plateau and dropped another 8lbs in 6 weeks. I try to walk about 5-6 times a week but I have no idea how many steps I’m taking.

  • I read many good opinions on the net about how exactly Custokebon Secrets (google search it) will help you lost a ton of weight. Has any one tried this popular weight loss system?

  • You should collab with Jeff Cavalier from AthleanX you guys would produce the healthiest, strongest, fittest, happiest people. Not like reproduce…just like….make

  • Thank you for the educational video can you talk about ways to remain motivated/ not quit working out after a few months working out

  • Stop fuking saying that… Check out my that llink my bla video… Fuck all.. Just put a statement on specific topic n say fuking eversingle helping statements… Dont fuck us with ur fucking bla bla

  • Hi Leslie I’m from Malaysia I love ur workout and now it’s my favorite routine. Tq I can see my body shape through ur workout. How many calories are burn through this work out may I know.

  • You look so weak physically… I don’t think you eat how much your body needs…it looks like your body (stomach) is crying for food. Who gave certificates…I am wondering… it’s true you are really certified nutritionist….I am wondering…

Really it doesn’t seems you do enough exercise…to lose fat and keep your body fit and fine.

Can you ran 10 minutes straight…I mean nonstop in high speed…in the ground….I am wondering myself.
Are you getting or understanding whatever you are speaking…I am wondering myself.

  • The biggest mistake likely that some of us feel stressed when doing any particular exercise.

The problem with that is that it actually only encourages weight to stay on.

Unless the source of that feeling is relieved then weight loss wont last. We run the risk of continuing a painful cycle of habits until that issue is apparent.

Honestly, THAT needs to be taught more.. Not the exercises themselves.

And of course the problem with that is: feeling stressed may not be apparent to anyone even ourselves. So of course people are going to say/assume its something like genetics or bad luck or bad diet.

    Until that day comes….

  • Yes, walking do burn calories. Also for the people looking to burn more calories, you all should try hiking with a backpack. Then start increasing weight to your backpack. In the military we call this rucking. I stay shredded with doing this every morning for an hour when I was in the Marines.

  • Please post the link to the dance version of “I give you love, you bring me joy,” which starts playing at the beginning of mile 2.

  • I walk 20000-25000 steps 3 to 4 days a week and eat mostly just protein macros on those days. Sometimes I eat so little my calories are only 500 or so because I walked so many calories off. But then next day on my work out days eat full macros, even beyond a bit. It makes cutting so much more enjoyable since I never really feel deprived like when doing a -500 every day cut like. I lose a lot of fat and generally keep my muscle and strength.

  • Active minutes over steps for you fitbit users. Get your heartrate into fat burning mode. 30k steps with 15 active minutes doesnt cut it.

    .

  • This makes me feel a lot better. I enjoy walking, but I always felt like it I “had to run” or I’m not doing enough. I injured my knees during a run, and now I avoid it. Good to know walking adds up

  • Thanks so mucho for share. Could you please,to make a video.,the way we should lift heavyweight, the best way to bend. I have 4 herniated disc 2 up, and 2 down back. Thanks again

  • Constructive criticism: please don’t put adds in the middle of the workout, it is very disrupting and you lose your momentum. Adds in the beginning or at the end of the workout is OK. Thanks.

  • You want to lose fat?? Stop complicate your routine. Start
    SQUAT
    DEADLIFT
    BENCH PRESS
    OVER HEAD PRESS OHP
    PENDLEY ROW

total this five exercise. alternate benchpress/OHP, it is difficult to do these on same day. everyday only three exercise. do SQUAT everyday.
you will come flat your belly in just two months. Its proven.

  • Is it walking on the spot counted to this video? I mean, we’re in quarantine. We can actively everyday go outside and walk. And I can stand walking on treadmill, it’s boring like crazy. To keep moving, I walk on the spot while watching TV. I think, hei…it’s better to do at least this instead of enjoying watching TV and doing nothing.

Am I doing right? Please reply. Thanks. Sending lots of love from Indonesia ❤️

  • I’m 42, and I started doing these workouts regularly during the covid shutdown. They are great! I’m not a person that enjoys working out (who does) but I’ve noticed a big difference in how I feel since doing these workouts. I sit at a desk most of the day, and I’ve been doing these workouts at least 3 times a week (sometimes more) and I have so much more energy, and my body is looking a lot better. My mood has improved. (Seriously, why didn’t I just workout before, it really does cure everything!) I love how customizable these workouts are. For example, I use 2-pound arm weights during these walking workouts. Helps my arms to tone up, and burn more calories! Thanks for these awesome workouts! I’m feeling and I’m finally getting that it does feel good to sweat!

  • Exercise has to be turned into a habit, same as any healthy behavior intended to be a regular part of one’s life (such as eating healthy, good hygiene, etc). So maybe some willpower at the start. But as William James wisely pointed out, it would be greatly beneficial to get all the stuff you should be doing anyway into the habit category to free your mind for better things. Working out, like going to work, should not be something you have to force yourself to do. You should just naturally do it w/o thinking too much about it. If you can’t get it to that point within a relatively short timeframe (I forget the length of time it takes to make a habit, but it isn’t too long in the grand scheme), you have maybe misdesigned your workout, or something else is wrong.

  • Sooo question…i work 8 hours a day mon friday all day on my feet and I’m not able to spread out my walks and can only do them once I get home. Is that bad? What should I do?

  • I have lost 10lbs in just one month by following diet plan from *Next Level Diet*. It’s really a great tool. I recommended it to my family members and we all started to eat and live healthier. Long live #*Next Level Diet*.

  • I see lots of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search). But Im not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried this popular fat loss system?

  • I walked 12,000 to 20,000 steps a day for two years and did nothing but gain weight….it takes way too long and had a negative effect for me…skipping rope, weights, and running are still the best for me.

  • This was very good. I myself need energy! Its a great idea to work out first thing in the morning, great tip. I have left the news alone, as well as the email. Paying bills can also be draining, and with a small business, it’s not easy either. I love your video’s.

  • Lol people dont know walking is the king of exercise. Nothing compares to it. If you speed walk and walk up hills. You dont need the gym.

  • I read a lot of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m uncertain if it is good. Have you ever tried this popular weight loss diet plan?

  • Good information! I just got a generic Fitbit from Amazon on June 1st I got about 6700 step that day and then from June 2nd on I got about 20,000 steps but I felt like that was unrealistic it’s only because I’m home more now and a lot of times I am getting my walking done I’ll walk for 2 hours and get all of my steps in where I might walk around my house pacing so this was good

  • DRESS FOR A WORKOUT, EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT FEELING UP TO IT.

  • Diet Plan called Custokebon Secrets kept showing up here on many youtube and I thought they were scam. However after my buddy follow it, and finally lost a lot of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. You should not take my own word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine.

  • I think I’ll just walk around in my living room for 30 mins cuz it’s freaking hell outside
I wish I’d have lived in some irish mountainy area where i could walk and enjoy at the same time
Only thing we see here are grumpy men flashing their naked bellies and cigars at you

  • A Nap?!!! What world do you live in where you’re freed up to take a nap and watch the news in the same 24 hour period! Clearly someone else is cooking your dinner for you after their eight hour job. Anyone who has dependent children of any age has been up since 5 AM and wont hit the pillow till 10 PM. And those friends who excercise?….We avoid them and their oh so organized life! Not everyone works at a desk answering emails, why do you think we need physio?! I was excited about the “systems” concept but this didn’t enter in to the real world enough to be helpful.

  • I made a decision to perform some study about the diet program after having a close friend shared with me about how much extra weight she burned I have dropped 9 lbs. I actually do consider it aided boost that weight loss and calorie burning. I have observed at this point I am eating food healthy and balanced. Google should help you to discover it. Guide’s name is Peyton Huno†az
    good luck

  • Thankyou very much roberta…lts working I can loss my weight slowly. I am doing this exercise for 1.week I do this exercise twice in a day, is there any problem?
How many calories will burn a day through this exercise?

  • I love walking. When I see people run I never know where they’re going so fast? Granted I’m not going anywhere either but at least I’m not sweating my nuts off for no reason.

  • I started walking to work every morning, as well as walking home which is a bit uphill. It takes about 35-45 minutes each direction. I also do construction, so we are always walking. I never noticed any change until I took my diet serious, in which case, after only 3 days of eating salad for lunch and a light dinner, im seeing results in my belly fat.

  • I’m only 29 years old and 210lbs, 6ft 2”… after walking a few miles each day I get a burning sensation in my hips… should I rest the day after a few mile walk? Or plod on and continue doing 3+ miles the day after?

  • I have another one though: dancing. Blast your favorite tunes, and shake your body like nobody business. I lose 10 pounds for 3 months by doing this

  • Hi there, I want to know if Custokebon Secrets, will really work for me? I see many people keep on talking about this popular lose weight diet plan.

  • You are my favourite. No other youtube video could motivate me this much. But i do this daily. Thanks fr motivation and efforts. Its really so interesting. And it works.

  • Since the lockdown was lifted in May here in Spain I’ve been going for an hours walk every morning. It’s about 4km and has turned my life around.
I stopped looking at the news month’s ago.
I use Utube and enjoy inspirational videos.
Keep up the great work guys. I’ve always enjoyed your stiff.
Remember everyone, it’s starts with small changes good luck in your new life’s.

  • You guys lost me with your advice to stay away from negative people. I hear this a lot on social media and from people in general. Very bad advice, it is a sign of a very weak personality. Negative people need our encouragement, in fact, they need it more than anyone. If we remove ourselves from negative people we pretty much leave them in a secluded place devoid of encouragement (a living hell so to speak). A well-adjusted person will not ignore a negative person but will instead listen to them and lead them to a more faithful and positive outlook on their life and on the world around them. We all need to stop being weak and afraid that negative people will bring us down. The truly strong and faithful people will survive negative communication and encourage those people who are plagued by it to become happier and more pleasant people. Don’t run from the challenge of communicating with negative people embrace it and share your joy with them for this is what the world really needs. Your thoughts…

  • I can sleep at the drop of a hat. I do my workout early morning every day. My work is 10 minutes away. I don’t drink or smoke. Most importantly I watch Bob and Brad. They’re the most famous physical therapists on the internet. Don’t you know. Right where’s that whole nut chocolate bar.

  • Have kids? Empty the entire jug of red fluid onto the floor, then break the glass cups, then start a fire on the counter. Then clean it all up. Then do the same thing tomorrow.

  • I have a problem with my auricularis anterior muscle (right in front of the ear) below the temporalis muscle its a swelling sensation with pressure and my jaw is always tight never relaxed is there any healing methods to this?

  • How to engage the core?? Still haven’t figured it out this whole time. Doing a leg raise is painful. My back is arching and it is the reason why I just give up sometimes.

  • Hey Bob &Brad I have a question my shoulder got dislocated 4 years ago and it would recurrent dislocate randomly over time it would happen less and less but it doesn’t feel completely normal I went to a chiropractor who told me my shoulder was pushed forward he put it into place whatever but my shoulder and elbow still pop with certain movements just on my injured left side still does not feel as stable as my other arm although it’s been a good 9 months since the last time it happened but like I said still doesn’t feel stable like my other arm I mean has improved significantly do you think with time it’ll recover any recommendations

  • I’ve tried so many exercise videos nothing actually worked but from one month I am using Roberta’s gym it is really working I’ve already lost weight.
Thank you so much for your efforts

  • I’m doing 10000 steps everyday and OMAD this changing my whole life in just 2.5 months im down 17kg I can’t believe it i was 107 now I am 90kg not gonna stop here my goal is 80kg

  • I walk one hour and 15 minutes every day “moderate pace” I guess its not enough steps to get to 100 minutes. I will add another 30 minutes next walk.

  • When I do 24 hour fast and cant just take an off day from the gym, incline treadmill walking for an hour is what I do, to amp the calorie burn. Something is better than nothing.

  • Robarta, please tell
How much fat/calorie can we burn if we continue the whole workout while watching it…. For young teens….
    Please tell me…

  • I like all of the workouts I’ve tried so far this one is great, but I’ve just registered 2.55 miles and not 3.1 as I expected doesn’t really matter, I’m still moving a lot, but could the difference in the step length be responsible for this?

  • You skipped # 3. I’m definitely a creature of habit, and an introvert, but with exercise I just won’t get out of bed unless I need to meet someone and they are waiting for me. Whatever works! <:O)

  • Hi, great video. Ive been walking almost everyday. I also have a physical limitation(femoral nerve/muscle weakness) so I can’t walk for long, jump, run, etc. It’s been frustrating because I’m trying to lose a lot of weight.

  • Since I started walking 3 miles a day, I’ve made friends in my neighborhood with all the dogs and their families during this pandemic summer of 2020. I walk the distance in an hour.

  • I just wanted to have flat belly, so I tried fat loss plan from NextLevelDiet. Guess what? I lost my beer belly in just 30 days. Now I want a six pack:D

  • Has anyone tried Custokebon Secrets? (just google it) We’ve noticed numerous awesome things about this popular weight loss methods.

  • I mean thing about will power is that its really just good to help you get out there and go workout. Thats what the will power is for.

  • I am so thankful I found the 5K workout with Leslie. When covid hit I had doctors orders to exercise and my gym was closed. I am 64 1/2 with 4 stents in my heart. I have always been active but not the right kind for my heart. Anyway I was desperate during lock down to find something on tube. Thank you Leslie for helping me keep up with my exercise routine.

  • Hi There! I started waking in March with 5000 steps. Within few weeks I was at ten thousand then couple of weeks 15 thousand all the way to 33,000. On average I walk 20 to25,000 steps throughout the day every day. I haven’t lost any weight. I can’t figure out why I am not losing weight. Please advise. I can use any help I can get. Thanks

  • I hate treadmill walking, it always throws my balance off sometimes. And it’s insufferably boring. Recently I have been tracking my steps through Samsung health app and I work outside so I get like 6 to 10k steps at work alone most days. And since it is summertime over here in Arizona if I do not have my 10K steps in by the time I get home from work I will walk around my house until I hit my 10k mark. I am aiming to drop 10 -15 pounds in the next 3 or 4 months. I am also watching my food intake to make sure that I am in at least a 300 to 500 calorie deficit daily. I don’t really lift weights as I cannot seem to stay interested in them for very long and it becomes too boring and tedious for me.

  • Dear Leslie, thank you for these walks which have kept me healthy and sane these past 90 days of lock-down in Mexico City. they make my day!!!!!

  • I am a HUGE fan of you both but would you please not refer to any politicians in your show? It adds stress when politicians are mentioned.

  • I praise God no one lives below me because my feet have found your rhythm and these floorboards are crying out to the Almighty.
    #Plumpandpoundingpavement

  • This channel is so good. You will not find such simple, innovative yet effective exercises anywhere on youtube, at least shared by a human. Such nice thing this channel is doing. Please keep it up

  • Praying a Rosary every day helps me! And I pray for you both. Thank you so much for your help. I’m using help from your ab video today. Helped my back! Thank you!

  • For me it’s 80% discipline/habit, 15% reward, 5% motivation/willpower. I don’t run and exercise because I will always love doing it, I just do it like it is a routine thing that needs to be done (and hey, you get to have a nice body if you keep doing it.) I reward myself every so often by allowing myself some of my favorite foods (both healthy and unhealthy.) On days I don’t feel like I can push hard enough, I do light exercises for at least 30 minutes. On great days, I run and walk for an hour.

Treat exercise like you do it everyday, if you can’t run because it is raining outside or it is 90 degrees+ outside, do light exercise or do exercises indoors that don’t require running, if your gym is closed because of the pandemic, look up ways to do bodyweight exercises until you get a home gym (if you can afford it or unless you aren’t allowed to.)

Every so often, reward yourself for you hard work.

Motivation and willpower will only take you so far. Maybe your goal is to run the 5k, what about after that? Will you just stop because your goal is accomplished?

A person that does the same thing every day, whether he likes it or not, no matter the day of the week will go further than a person that only runs if he/she is motivated to run for the day.

  • Thanks dear I am from India and it’s too inspiring video I just started it from last week but I really feel awasom and thankful to you dear.

  • What is the best product or brand to lost a lot of weight? I read lots of great opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost lots of fat. Has anyone tried using this popular fat burn secrets?

  • Diet Plan called Custokebon Secrets kept appearing here on different youtube videos and I thought they were scam. However after my buddy follow it, and finally lost plenty of weight with it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. • In 2010, Evan Carter, then a graduate student at University of Miami, was one of the first to challenge Baumeister’s findings. Carter looked into a meta-analysis of nearly two hundred experiments that concluded ego depletion was real. Upon closer inspection, he discovered that the meta-analysis showed a publication bias; studies that had produced contradictory evidence were not included. When factoring in the results of those studies, he concluded there was no firm evidence supporting the ego-depletion theory.

  • The last couple of times I’ve spent time with a lifelong friend who went on and on about the negatives, I lost it and went and ate a half a gallon of ice cream! I’m done. She’s been warned and wouldn’t listen.

  • People seem to have an odd. Orion of what willpower is it’s habit and having goals thr more you make something a habit, the more you are likely to do it again and gain rewards from it.

  • Walking is great. So is eliminating sugars and processed foods. And intermittent fasting. These three and you will be so much better health-mental and physical.

  • Starting from today along with Roberta’s other videos.
    Day 1done
Took a break due to some issues.
So yeah starting from the start.
    Day 1 once againdone

  • The only reason people would pair food with bad events is habit they learned in life to eat or drink when feeling stressed people could just as well learn to pair bad events with good things.

  • Hi Leslie……A great Thank you……I had a heart problem and I was looking for exercise that I can do without much strain and I found this….It really changed my body…..as you said my heart is happy….my body is happy…I am happy…God Bless you Leslie….I have started feeling fit and I am loosing weight tooo…….

  • You have to get rewards from your efforts a lot of people don’t get rewards from their efforts and that is why it appears willpower didn’t work.

  • Amazing! A friend recommended am so happy its been difficult doing gym due to work rota but now…i have it in my room no need for a treadmill
