Fitness. 2013-09-13 | By: Snap Fitness The stepmill can be an intimidating machine, but if your gym has one, it is a machine you don’t want to ignore. It can torch as many calories as a steady jog, and is perfect for sculpting because it takes your legs and glutes through a full range of motion.
The treadmill usually gets highest honors for flab melting and leg sculpting, but this routine may have you rethinking your go-to machine. Like jogging, stair-climbing torches mega calories (about 10 a minute, depending on your speed) and strengthens your thighs, butt, and calves. 25 Minute Treadmill Workout You can easily increase or decrease the intensity of this workout to match your current fitness level. Just play around with the speed and increase or decrease the speeds by 1.0 or 2.0 in the intervals to make this workout perfect for you.
Challenge yourself but honor your body! Additional Treadmill Workouts. The article, The Stepmill Workout, by trainer Nicole Radziszewski that appeared in the December 2018 Experience Life issue has given my cardio workout the boost I needed.
The main take away for me was after completing the 30 minute workout, I had virtually no back pain like I’ve experienced from running. Warm-up: Do five minutes at a steady step rate in your personal comfort zone. > Increase rate by 20 spm (steps per minute) for two minutes. > Get off machine and do 20 push-ups. > Resume StepMill for two minutes with an additional 20 spm. > Get off machine and do 20 burpees. > Resume StepMill for two minutes with an additional 10 spm. Length of Workout: 25 Minutes. While the easy-to-follow instructions make this a good place to start, it’s still a fairly intense workout.
If you’re new to the stepmill, give this routine a try before attempting the more complicated ones. Start with a 2-minute warmup. Run for 2 minutes at moderate intensity. Beginner Stairmaster Workout Set the Stepmill for 20 minutes at 25 steps/minute.
After about 5 minutes bump it up to 30. Try to go up 5 steps/minute every 5 minutes until your heart rate exceeds your 80% level. Time to burn that belly fat away, lose weight in time to get that summer body! This full body workout is 25 mins long, has warm ups and cool down stretches. Lots of.

When I say this was one of the best workouts I’ve ever done!!! I’m sweating and I don’t even sweat fr like at all. You got a new subbie!!! Im going to try to do your workouts daily! No shoes or equipment is where you got me
He had them on level 8-9 intensity through the entire main course of the workout! More power to them, since that is a long time! With my 3×6 speed bike, that would mean going to the big ring and using gears 4-5! Ugh! That might be too hard for me. I may still be on the big ring, but only on gears 3-4, instead of 4-5. I usually only use my fastest gear for sprints, up to two minutes, max.
Edit: I actually tried that level 8-9 intensity, using gears 4-5 on my six speed, with the big ring, and I actually feel great! I have my trainer fixed, so I can stay on level ten for three minutes, not just two. I may try that hill training, next.

I finished one of your level 4 workouts 2 days ago and it felt great physically after a couple of months of lock down! One recommendation i have is to add the work out name in the audio, just before the word “go”, as I don’t watch the video all the time….I’m listening to the audio for start/stop and look into the video only when I have to refer to the movement when I’m not familiar with it. I normally can sail through lvl3 and lvl 3.5 easily. I tried lvl 4 for the first time and had to stop and take a breather at 16mins before continuing. Man this is tough. On a separate note, how does he clean his carpet, if he does workout on it everyday when my yoga mat is socked in sweat.

Wanted to quit a few times but my 10month old son just kept looking at me and I just kept going going going till the end. I am 170 ( baby weight) trying to get down to 145. I miss these at-home HIIT workouts. I’ve been following other YT workout vloggers, and their format isn’t as intense to many rests, intervals not long enough, etc..Some of our states still haven’t opened up our gyms (or we are not planning to return to the gym anytime soon). Gave this one a go after doing the 30 and 45 mins regularly for a while thinking “How hard can 25 mins be?!” VERY as it turns out. The shorter recoveries make a massive difference, they barely give you enough time to catch your breath, never mind catch a drink! This video has made me work harder than the other ones, top job, thanks guys but I think I’ll treat myself to the 45 min vid next time!
So I experimentally followed through with this workout routine and couldn’t wake up the next morning and I realized that for the past two months my workout routine ain’t sht coz I could go for an hour and a half but Toni’s 26 minutes were a whole new experience… kuddos

I’ve loved the other workouts but I really think you should specify what as a percentage of ftp is an effort level. An effort level of 9 for 20 minutes is way over my ftp based on an effort level in a different gcn video. Consistency is key guys.

Why even put the short recoveries. Theyre pointless when there 5 seconds. Just keep it going. And also, why at every end of the work out instead of you ending up ahead of the group to keep you pumped up that u passed thru the pressure n beat the competition, right before the workout ends the guy behind u passes u up. Fuuucccckk. So go dam irritating.

I have successfully followed Along almost all of your4+ level workout, but this felt really difficult compare to those 4 level workout, felt more like level 5 workout! somehow completed it.and still breaking sweat like hell..! Phew!!

The music in this one is phenomenal! I especially like the track at the end before the finish line. That one certainly said “triumphant” to me!
He had them on level 8-9 intensity through the entire main course of the workout! More power to them, since that is a long time! With my 3×6 speed bike, that would mean going to the big ring and using gears 4-5! Ugh! That might be too hard for me. I may still be on the big ring, but only on gears 3-4, instead of 4-5. I usually only use my fastest gear for sprints, up to two minutes, max.
Edit: I actually tried that level 8-9 intensity, using gears 4-5 on my six speed, with the big ring, and I actually feel great! I have my trainer fixed, so I can stay on level ten for three minutes, not just two. I may try that hill training, next.

I’m a new subscriber to your channel! I’m not sure if you would see this or not but I wanted to say I really like your workout format! I finished one of your level 4 workouts 2 days ago and it felt great physically after a couple of months of lock down! One recommendation i have is to add the work out name in the audio, just before the word “go”, as I don’t watch the video all the time….I’m listening to the audio for start/stop and look into the video only when I have to refer to the movement when I’m not familiar with it. I normally can sail through lvl3 and lvl 3.5 easily. I tried lvl 4 for the first time and had to stop and take a breather at 16mins before continuing. Man this is tough. On a separate note, how does he clean his carpet, if he does workout on it everyday when my yoga mat is socked in sweat.

Thank you. This was what I was looking for. I just pray I can keep up. Am sweating. Wanted to quit a few times but my 10month old son just kept looking at me and I just kept going going going till the end. I am 170 ( baby weight) trying to get down to 145. Its has not been easy but God bless you for this workout. Will keep doing it everyday.

I miss these at-home HIIT workouts. I’ve been following other YT workout vloggers, and their format isn’t as intense to many rests, intervals not long enough, etc..Some of our states still haven’t opened up our gyms (or we are not planning to return to the gym anytime soon). I look forward to the next one (soon I hope)!
OK so you almost killed me with this one but I loved it! I bike for weight loss but I’m more into marathons. and I’m trying to get back into it. this brought back those intense races lol.

I’ve had two strokes in 2015, so I naturally have to use a modified version to do some of the routines, but it worked me still!!! I was very careful not to over exhaust myself-LoL, body is damp. I kept drinking my apple-cider-vinegar water.

Gave this one a go after doing the 30 and 45 mins regularly for a while thinking “How hard can 25 mins be?!” VERY as it turns out. The shorter recoveries make a massive difference, they barely give you enough time to catch your breath, never mind catch a drink! This video has made me work harder than the other ones, top job, thanks guys but I think I’ll treat myself to the 45 min vid next time!
So I experimentally followed through with this workout routine and couldn’t wake up the next morning and I realized that for the past two months my workout routine ain’t sht coz I could go for an hour and a half but Toni’s 26 minutes were a whole new experience… kuddos
