  • The excersises workout your abs although it will give you more ab definition it doesnt reduce body fat and even if your abs look good it will never show with a high body fat

  • It’s very weird, but I used to do those crazy HIIT workouts where you’d constantly injure yourself doing crazy high impact moves and since switching to these I’ve noticed my back and thighs have become less bulky. Which is what I wanted. I feel the HIIT was doing too uch progressive over load in areas I don’t want to make larger-really my bum is the only place I’m working on making larger LOL. So while you do have to workout longer to have the same caloric burn a a cardio replacement, I do feel it’s less stressful on your body and therefore more doable. I mean if you injure yourself you’re less likely to work out. So even on bad days during allergy season-where I can hardly breath, or on my ‘time of the month’, I can still do something that makes me feel like I’m maintaing my fitness/gainz and emotional stability.:). But yes, I would like to see maybe a 40 mins one with longer strength training intervals, simple moves, nothing crazy that way everyone can still do it, but go at their own pace!

  • I got tested on July 14 2020 and I have NOT got my result till I am writing this comment which is July 24 2020. I live in Bay Area and my Insurance is with kaiser which I thought would be better in present scenario but 10 days of no result and God forbid if I turns out positive now, I already must have infected atleast few people because I had to go out after couple of days staying indoors to get me food.   • You are spreading lots of misinformation and fearmongering. Viruses are around us all the time. In my health classes we were taught to quarantine only when sick. You want everyone suffocating behind a mask. Remember the ABC’s of First Aid CPR..airway, breathing and circulation. Wearing a mask impedes your airway, makes breathing more difficult and causes lower levels of oxygen in bloodstream. This is not sound teaching.

  • Great workout… I modified quite a few because I’m unfit/had a baby 3 months ago �� e.g. didn’t jump my lunges, kept my feet on the ground for Russian twist, knees on ground for planks, kept both feet on ground for bridges.

  • Holly’s workout is perfect for my schedule! I work full time from 9Am-6PM and I usually don’t have time to work out after that cause I gotta fix dinner and tidy up the house. Instead I slip in 20 mins of this workout at 7:30AM and I’m good for the day as it might look simple but it really kicks your butt!   • A long distance runner trying to get back into my routine after a few months’ break. This is an excellent workout. Intensity was about 8/10 for me since I’m out of shape, but I felt great afterwards. The graphics and timing were great, I felt like I was with my coach. I also love that this is a workout that requires no special equipment. But I agree with Erna that the cool down should be slower. Thank you guys!

  • I only did this because I have depression because of how fat I am and they are gonna weigh us when we go to school if we are 20+ we have to get home schooled or we have to take online class everybody in my class is skinny.

  • the thing with this workout is that it seems too easy. but i can assure you it is not.

    i’ve been in my weight loss journey for about eight months now. i’ve tried all the fancy dancy workouts: 40 minute HIIT, 30 minute starter, 12 week programs. 100% honestly, this gives me the most results. 20 minutes of walking and toning. at first, i only did this routine. now i am able to either play it twice through or do this with some bonus arm/leg/core exercises. she’s so encouraging throughout the entire thing and has helped me really change my body. thank you for all you’ve done, holly <3

  • i wonder if the ones getting sick the most are the ones that always use medicine and vaccines. If you don’t let you immune system fight off virus and bacteria you are more vulnerable. The last time i had a flu shot was 13 years ago and I’ve only had the flu 4times. the first 2 times i was in bed for at least 1 week feeling really sick but the last 2 it didn’t faze me. looked like my immune build up a tolerance

  • I can’t say I liked the toning or the walking best I really like having them intermixed and I feel they are both more effective that way!

  • This is one of the best workout videos I’ve seen. Really well edited, the preview you get for the next exercise lets you get into position in time which is a small touch but super helpful. Tough but manageable, and you can pick up the pace if you want, love it. Only small suggestion would be to make the cool down longer and slower, but apart from that it’s near perfect.

  • Just done this. I run a bit, very slowly, but that’s all I do and my running never improves. I’ve also put on weight so getting my heart rate up is good. This was great and at least doing it at home, I wasnt embarrassed when I had to pause it for longer or simplify the moves. Hopefully I’ll get better over time. Thanks, it was very well put together. Maybe just a little longer on the warm down moves. ��

I rarely if ever interact with people inside these days but have gone outside to see friends for a drink, and left after 10 minutes because of the duration factor. Is 10 minutes outside a lot?

  • OF everything this said in this video, would love to know about the Chinese study where 1 out of 318 caught the virus outside. What were the circumstances of those who caught it outside? Then take those lessons learned and apply them. Too many people are catching the virus despite their saying that they are practicing social distancing. It may be that one CAN catch the virus from a runner passing by too closely.

    And remember, only some have the virus; not everyone.

    However, according to nature of the virus being airborne transmitted, it will be transmitted, and, considering human beings can’t isolate themselves from one another in any distance of proximity,

    It will be transmitted to most everyone broadly over time and space.

    The only deductive solution is to isolate only those positive with the virus.
    However, this would require an undertaking that would rival the mobilization of the entire American populace as did occur during World War Two.

  • I’ve already gotten really sick and tend to catch covid pretty consistence and easily, basically every time I go out. it’s not very bad any more but can tell I have it. Even ware a mask publicly while indoors but not outdoors.

  • I love this workout! I’ve been doing it for 4 weeks but just last week all kinds of ads pop up while I’m working out. I tried to figure out hot to turn off ads but everything I found said the owner of the video can do it. Could you please turn off ads as it is very disruptive to the workout. The ads will stop the video while I’m in the middle of it. I’ve been doing it 3x per week and seeing improvements already, thank you!!

  • When you live in a tiny room in a home you share with others because the cost of housing is so damn high, its very difficult to “create the environment” for exercise. That is the function that gyms used to serve.

  • Hi, the day after doing this workout, my legs were so incredibly sore that I could not walk, bend down or even straighten my leg. Is that normal? 3 days later, it still hurts to walk. The only exercise I have done before is running 5km and cycling. Will D. O. M. S get less painful the more I do this workout?

  • Brutal… I got an 8 minute half-marathon PB last month after a 12 week training block averaging 50km per week. But this strength training killed me. I got half way through the the 2nd rep 1st time, and just completed the workout a week later by reducing the intensity. Anything that makes your legs burn like this must be good for you!

  • Lol believe it or not, when covid19 lockdown hit I couldn’t do 5 pushups, I struggled doing 5 situps but since February I lost 30 lbs just by doing core exercises, I do about 100 pushups 200 situps Mon Thurs, I rest on Fri-Sun, Mon Wed I weightlift upperbody and Tues Thurs I do legs and lower body, I gained muscle everywhere and have a 4 pack soon to be 6 pack..if I can do it, believeeeeeeee me you can damn well do it

  • You can buy P100 half mask respirators online. About $35 to $40 bucks. Make sure the half mask comes with P100 (magenta color filters) otherwise, you need to buy filters separately. P100 filter cartridges provide near 100% virus filtration and if you are fit tested (a specialized leak test required by OSHA), then they do provide 100%.  Make sure the half mask fits you properly. A normal adult size face will be a large size.  Women might be a medium size.  The P100 filters are HEPA filters and they will last a very long time unless you’re working in a very dusty environment. They should last at least a year or so but, you can buy a pair of new filters for about $15.  Wear it when you go into any public building. It will save your life. Make sure you are clean shaven (no beards or stubble) otherwise, the mask will not seal to your face and virus can get through. Perform a positive and negative pressure check on the respirator when you first put it on (this is a basic self-seal check you can research online to ensure proper sealing). These respirators have been designed and researched by NIOSH for decades and they are required by OSHA. You can make and attach a simple, loose cloth cover for the exhalation valve to prevent coughing droplets from being released. Use caution if you have pre-existing respiratory health issues as wearing a respirator does add some resistance to normal breathing but you will find half mask respirators to be very comfortable and much easier to breathe through and cooler than most masks and face coverings because of the exhaust valve.  Make sure to keep your respirator clean inside using sanitary wipes and make sure the membrane valves are taken care of and are not damaged because they can tear easily. Store your respirator in a Ziploc bag.  Do not share your respirator with others.  Half mask respirators can be completely dismantled and cleaned but this only needs to be done occasionally.

    I’m getting on now and substitute the press up for more plank but it’s great for short time/confined space.
    I use some light hand weights when marching to increase workout intensity.

    Anyways, I have a few questions I hope you could answer!

    Okay, so I’m 11 and I run a lot. I’ve run a few half marathons and I’m best at long-distance running (I probably have slow twitch muscles) but I’ve been focusing on improving my mile time down to a sub 7 min mile. I adore running and exercise but there’s one problem. I’ve had many knots in my ankles and calves and back and legs for a while now, probably because;
    1A large backpack
    2Running so much
    3Working out a lot
    I’ve taken many hot baths and cold showers, used those roller thingies, temporarily stopped exercising and massaged myself a few times, but they aren’t going away, really. It’s just muscle knots, they’re not that bothersome, but they can make my ankles and body ache while exercising a lot and they make my muscles feel tight(keep in mind, I do a lot of yoga and stretching as well.) I know my performance could increase by a lot and my overall enjoyment of exercise would increase. Do you guys have any ideas to prevent and help this? Do you guys, or anybody in the comments, experience this? Thanks a lot, and stay safe! I love you all <3.

  • I have been working out forever and even competed in figure. But this quarantine has me scrambling to find stuff to do as I don’t have at home equipment. I appreciate your no nonsense workouts. Frankly I am having a hard time not lifting and doing my crazy workouts, yours are a perfect balance, tough but I feel good afterwards and never bored. Thank god. So many here bore me to tears.   • Hi Holly, I’m so glad I found you, I started going to the gym just 1 month after all this COVID 19 contingency, so I had to leave it. But I discovered your quarantine routine and I have been doing it day by day along with this 20 min workout.
    The first days I couldn’t complete most of the toning exercises, but since yesterday I noticed that now I can and I am looking for more of your routines to complement my workouts!!! I do them every morning and then start my day, besides feeling stronger, I have a better mood now. Thanks for all of that!!!
