This is a book club focused on readings to move you towards loving and accepting yourself as you are. Books will cover topics including intuitive or mindful eating, body confidence and body positivity, self love, and other topics related to breaking the diet cycle and learning to live the good life – in the body you have right now!
Meetings will be held both virtually within Facebook and in-person (optional). You do not have to come to any in-person meetings to participate in this book club!
Each week there will be a realistic chunk of reading (14 – 27 pages a week) because I know how busy we all are! There will be weekly posts in Facebook for you to respond to for sharing how the reading influenced you. There will also be a once-a-month-ish in person meeting for those who wish to get together and discuss the readings in a more give-and-take group-support kind of way.
